    Fair warning to the local looters, the so-called Cajun Navy is on it’s way to help with rescues. They responded in Houston when we suffered through Harvey last year. Some inner-city morons thought evacuated houses would be easy targets for looting. When they realized how bad the rising water really was, they tried to hijack boats from the Cajuns – even shooting at them. Shooting was reported on one day, but it suddenly stopped. Why? The Cajuns did not show up unarmed. They shot back. Looting of flooded areas stopped.

    As Tim occasionally says, sometimes the old ways are best.
