Note that the government doesn’t see anything wrong with denying someone a seat that he’s paid for and they don’t have a problem with dragging the poor guy off the plane. After all, it’s not like the guy is a member of the Crust or a Kardashian or something.
I wonder what the “amicable” settlement was. I suspect I’d be happy to let them drag me around for that amount of $$.
