Muslim Shooter Kills Three Whites in Fresno

How did he find three whites in Fresno?
A gunman opened fire in downtown Fresno on Tuesday, killing at least three people.
The suspect, 39-year-old Kori Ali Muhammad, harbored hatred of white people, Fresno police chief Jerry Dyer said after the shooting, the Fresno Bee reported.
Muhammad’s three victims were white. Muhammad was also reportedly involved in the killing of a motel security guard in Fresno on Sunday.
While being taken into custody, Muhammad reportedly shouted “Allahu Akbar.”
Will the Islamophobia never cease?

I know I shouldn’t have, but it did make me laugh when it was reported that he killed people because he hated whites, not because he was muslim (and despite the “Allahu Akbar” shouts).
In my mind, people who do that kind of stuff are crazy and whatever reason they blame really doesn’t matter.
Having said that, I also should note that crazy folks tend to congregate together in places that support their particular slant – much in the same way that weeds grow better in fertile soil. A religion that says it’s ok to kill nonbelievers would be a good example of that.

Just think of it as another triumph for the Second Amendment.

Once again, focusing on the tool instead of the operator is a waste of time and energy.
There’s an old saying that if a hammer is not nearby when needed then the nearest tool becomes a hammer.
If a lunatic wants to do harm and the tool of choice is not available, they will simply use another tool, e.g., knife, club, flammable liquid, vehicle, etc.
Likewise, replacing the 2A with anti-gun laws is useless. Laws only apply to law-abiding citizens. Criminals – by definition – ignore laws. Crazy people, well, they ignore lots of things, including laws.
All of this is logic, and therefore wasted upon you, but I will give you kudos for inserting a mostly-correctly applied sound bite from the Great Liberal Coloring Book of Phrases That Distract From Reality.

“There’s an old saying that if a hammer is not nearby when needed then the nearest tool becomes a hammer.” But whatever you pick up will not do the job as effectively as a hammer.
By the same token, fanatics may find another weapon, but it won’t be as effective at killing as will a gun. Had the San Bernardino killers been forced to resort to knives, the body count would have been far lower.
If you’re going to draw comparisons, at least identify the apples and oranges as such.

Largest mass murder in the US (not including terrorists) was not with a gun (Molotov cocktail, NYC). Same with most children killed in a school attack (dynamite). Terrorist attacks? 911 – jets, Okl. City – fertilizer bomb. Hey, how about serial killers? Ted Bundy? Didn’t use a gun. Richard Speck? Didn’t use a gun. Green River Killer? No gun. Unibomber? Well, that’s self-explanitory.
Your argument that I’m not drawing a fair comparison does not hold water.

And how many sticks of dynamite, Molotov cocktails, etc. does it take to equal the gun death count in say, Chicago in a given year? Apples vs. oranges.
And your argument that “gun laws don’t work, because criminals by definition ignore laws” would hold equally for any and all laws, yet I don’t see you advocating for the abolition of the penal code.
