I am not making this up.
The essence of ‘progressivism’, like Communism and fascism (its Siamese siblings), is that it is totalitarian — it must pervade every aspect of life, from cradle to grave. The key intervention stage is with children, because if you can brainwash the children so that they literally have never had an opportunity for free thought, then you’re home free. (This isn’t new – the Jesuits figured it out a couple of centuries ago.) If you take a look at modern government schools, especially the early grades, you can drop them next to the old Soviet and Nazi schoolrooms and the techniques are the same: all state-approved political messages all the time.
