This is just public posturing on Bernie’s part, to demonstrate to his followers that he’s still more-progressive-than-thou.

I guess he didn’t want people to forget that he’s Just Another Politician.

And of course the DemLegHump Media report this as ‘news’. Actual news would be Bernie Sanders saying, in public, that people ought not to jump to conclusions about Stephen Bannon on the basis of hysterical vaporings by the Far Left. But, of course, Bernie would never do that.
