In a coffee shop on the ground floor of 85 Broad St. in lower Manhattan, once Goldman Sachs’s headquarters, the democratic socialist made the case that while he would be focused on income inequality, he was also open to working with the city’s business elite.
“He said, ‘Look, I’m not in favor of government taking over your business,’” Wylde said. “He made clear that he’s not anticapitalist in that sense.”
So it’s all a scam. “What do you want to be when you grow up, Zohran?” “I want to be an incredibly wealthy socialist, like my friends.”

The fentanyl crisis was not accidental. China supplies the chemicals, but it is the Mexican cartels who manufacture and distribute the poison. Fentanyl is a synthetic killer that has claimed hundreds of thousands of American lives. None of this would have been possible without the Biden administration’s reckless border policies. The cartels were given free rein to exploit a system that no longer functions.
Today’s cartels are not street gangs. They are paramilitary empires. Groups like the Sinaloa Cartel, Jalisco New Generation Cartel, and the Gulf Cartel have private armies, armored vehicles, encrypted communications, and surveillance technology. Some even use spyware like Pegasus to monitor law enforcement, journalists, and rival organizations. They are militarized, disciplined, and global in reach. And they operated with confidence because they knew our border was wide open.

The “big beautiful bill” includes a provision that bars Medicaid dollars from going to institutions that perform abortions. For some reason–I have no idea why–the ban reportedly only applies for one year. Among other things, it would prevent Medicaid funding from going to Planned Parenthood affiliates.
Planned Parenthood sued to block this legislative provision from going into effect. It is a remarkable claim: Planned Parenthood says that Congress has a constitutional obligation to continue funding it, whether Congress likes it or not. And the executive branch is prohibited from complying with the law, and is required to continue funding Planned Parenthood regardless of the statute.
These breathtaking claims were accepted by federal judge Indira Talwani of Boston, another judge-shopped left-winger. Talwani has granted Planned Parenthood’s motion for a temporary restraining order, without waiting to hear the administration’s opposition to the motion. Talwani’s order, entered yesterday, is embedded below.
Curious to know on what grounds this remarkable order was granted, I tracked down Planned Parenthood’s complaint. It, too, is embedded below.

Today’s higher education accreditors let colleges and universities get away with mediocrity: low graduation rates, highly negative return on investment, and activism that looks little like scholarship.
Accreditors are meant to vouch for college quality and to recommend improvements—but they rarely hold institutions accountable for such travesties as a four-year graduation rate under 15%, a negative return on investment in six figures, and pervasive antisemitism. Instead, they often require “diversity” practices that bleed into illegal discrimination.
Fortunately, university systems in six states have formed a new accreditor to focus on “academic excellence” and “student outcomes.”
The new entity, the Commission for Public Higher Education, is a product of efforts led by the State University System of Florida and state systems in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. (Texas has multiple state systems—the partner here is the Texas A&M University System.) It joins a small number of new accreditors bringing competition and innovation to higher education accreditation.

three people dead and 10 others injured, including several teenagers.
The gunfire erupted just before 1 a.m. on the 1500 block of South Etting Street, and Ring camera footage captured multiple individuals pulling out firearms and shooting, according to ABC Philadelphia.
ABC Philadelphia writes that the shooters opened fire indiscriminately—even with children nearby.
“This is coward stuff. You see the size of this block—individuals just shooting randomly into houses, into cars,” said Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel.
“I mean, this is coward, wannabe thug stuff.” Officers, already responding to reports of large gatherings and loud music, were nearby when they heard the shots. Upon arrival, they found a dozen victims aged 15 to 24, including a person injured while trying to flee the scene. Authorities released surveillance images of suspects seen in the Ring footage, and at least one person has been taken into custody, though their exact role is still unclear.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday lifted a judge’s order preventing the Trump administration from conducting mass layoffs across the federal bureaucracy, for now.
The court in its unsigned ruling said Trump’s February executive order directing federal agencies to prepare for reductions in force (RIFs) is likely lawful.
It enables federal agencies to resume implementing Trump’s directive, though the high court left the door open for plaintiffs to challenge any agency’s specific plan down the road.

Tuesday morning’s Kerr County, Texas press conference on last week’s apocalyptic floods flew off the rails because of the showboating antics of ABC and CNN’s reporters on scene — ABC with Matt Gutman and CNN with both Shimon Prokupecz and Isabelle Rosales — shouting at local officials (and, at one point, each other) and demanding heads roll for the death toll that crossed north of 100 people.
Rosales started things off, twice asking officials to “outline what specific discussions and actions were taken between the time the first flood emergency came in at 1:14 a.m. and then when the river first started flooding its banks hours later.”
…
Channeling Jim Acosta, Gutman jumped in: “With all due respect, sir, I think that the community here is asking these questions. What happened? When did it happen? Was it emergency manager awake at the time? Did they push the button to issue an emergency alert?”
Anytime a reporter blurts “with all due respect” out of nowhere, it’s a sign it is not, in fact, respectful or just asking question.
Leitha scoffed back, seeming to recall Gutman at past press conferences: “Sir, it’s not that easy when you — and you just push a button, okay? There’s a lot more to that. And we’ve told you several times.”

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) shipped 1000s of virus samples to a biolab in Wuhan, China despite having no formal approval or safety protocols, the Daily Caller first reported on Tuesday.
Newly released documents reviewed by the outlet show that USAID facilitated the delivery of nearly 11,000 virus samples from Yunnan Province to a biolab in Wuhan, the epicenter of the COVID-19 global pandemic. The Wuhan lab has become infamous for its substandard safety protocols and ties to the People’s Liberation Army.
The shipments were made with no effort to ensure the samples were not used in bioweapons or remained accessible to U.S. government. The virus samples were derived from humans, bats, and rodents and were collected over the course of a 10-year period.
And this is why Fauci was given a going-away pardon from the Biden Bitches.

The Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday it eliminated the Hamas terrorist who led the Oct. 7, 2023, infiltration of a gas station near Kibbutz Magen.
Taha Abu Ayadeh, identified as a platoon commander in Hamas’s elite Nukhba Force, was killed in a July 1 attack in the Khan Yunis area of southern Gaza, according to the IDF.
He “infiltrated Israeli territory during the brutal October 7th massacre and led the infiltration of the gas station in Kibbutz Magen,” the military stated. “In addition, throughout the war, Abu Ayadeh advanced and led numerous terrorist attacks, including several attacks in the last few weeks against IDF troops operating in the Khan Yunis area.”

Unfortunately, British newspapers are as bad as the American Narrative Media when it comes to accepting the statements of politicians at face value.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass on Monday (July 7) condemned reported federal immigration enforcement activity in MacArthur Park, calling it an effort to instill fear in the city’s immigrant communities.
Once again, the missing word is ‘illegal’. ‘Immigrant communities’ have nothing to fear so long as they are here legally. This is a vital distinction that Democrats MUST obfuscate in their campaign to portray the effort to get rid of illegals as being somehow aimed at all immigrants, which it is explicitly not.
“I do not believe that anyone was detained. Maybe they were. But then again, I don’t think the goal is to detain. I think the goal is to spread fear. I think that’s what it is. It’s to terrorize Angelenos. It’s the say to immigrants that are in our city of immigrants, that they need to stay home. They shouldn’t go to work. They shouldn’t go to school because we’re coming after you,” she said.
The Law of Liberal Projection tells us that Bass is compelled to think that ‘the goal is to spread fear’ because that’s why she would be doing it in their place. She is mentally incapable of perceiving any other motivation.

A new meeting of the defence council dedicated to the issue of the Muslim Brotherhood’s infiltration of French society was held on Monday, July 7th, at the request of President Emmanuel Macron. The president called for a law to be passed this summer, with increasing administrative and financial penalties for organisations supported by the Brotherhood.
The meeting was convened following the publication of a widely noted report on the growing infiltration of the Muslim Brotherhood into all spheres of French society. After the report was published, the government outlined some initial responses, which the president deemed completely inadequate. The July defence council was therefore intended to draw up new proposals to “strengthen the measures aimed at combatting separatism,” in reference to the law “reinforcing respect for the principles of the Republic” passed on August 24th, 2021, during Macron’s first term. The minister of the interior, the minister of national education, and the minister of sport were present.
In a press conference, Macron announced that new financial and administrative sanctions would be introduced. He called for a bill to be drafted and passed before the end of the summer, for implementation before the end of the year.
I predict that the Muslim Brotherhood will win this one.
As long as Islam exists, ‘jihadis’ will be a problem. It’s been that way for 1400 years, and there is no indication that it will change. Whether our Ruling Class will continue prating how ‘peaceful’ Muslims are while ignoring the mass murder, or whether they will wake up and decide to do something about it, is an exercise left for the reader.

A Muslim media watchdog is accused of trying to silence legitimate journalism by filing politically driven and baseless complaints against media content it disagrees with.
Andrew Gilligan and Dr Damon Perry outline their findings in a new report, Bad Faith Actor: A study of the Centre for Media Monitoring (CfMM), which can be downloaded here. The CfMM claims that UK media—especially newspapers—are a major driver of “Islamophobia.” But the authors point out that of the many complaints CfMM has submitted to the presswatchdog IPSO, only one has ever resulted in a correction.
The CfMM, which is linked to the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), has made several controversial complaints, such as:
- Arguing it was “misleading” to describe ISIS executioner Mohammed Emwazi (“Jihadi John”) as a terrorist, since he hadn’t been formally convicted;
- Including factual coverage of Islamist terror attacks in its statistic claiming 60% of media output is “Islamophobic”;
- Targeting GB News and journalist Charlie Peters for reporting accurately on the ethnic background of grooming gang members;
- Objecting to fictional TV portrayals of Muslim characters who drink, reject the hijab, or are gay.

A German court ruled on Tuesday, July 8th, that the government must issue visas to an Afghan family previously accepted under a programme for those at risk after the Taliban seized power in 2021.
The new government under Chancellor Friedrich Merz has frozen the programme, but Berlin’s administrative court said the family had been given a “legally binding” commitment and must be allowed to travel to Germany.
The family—consisting of fourteen people—is currently in Pakistan and had lodged an urgent appeal, saying they were about to be deported to Afghanistan, “where they would be in fear for their lives.”
The family was given approval to come to Germany in 2023 under the programme.
According to the German foreign office, around 2,400 people with a commitment to be admitted to Germany are currently waiting for visas in Pakistan.
A recent investigation by Der Spiegel uncovered widespread fraud in German resettlement schemes, as the government allowed thousands of migrants to enter the country with fake documents and fabricated stories.

From The Hill newspaper,
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced Monday that it would rescind protections from deportation for Nicaragua and Honduras.
The move ends temporary protected status (TPS) for citizens of those countries living in the U.S., which were both established after the same deadly hurricane and in place for more than 25 years.
25 years? You read that correctly. The TPS status dates from 1999 and Hurricane Mitch, which struck Central America in late October 1998. The move impacts some 55,000 refugees, mostly from Honduras, the nation hardest hit from the storm.
Two things are remarkable about the story. First, an extremely powerful hurricane (180 MPH winds,75 inches of rain) occurred in a previous century. Second, this “temporary status” has lingered on for more than a quarter century.
I’m sure some district judge somewhere will try to block the move, but how long is temporary?

As a mother of nine in Tennessee, Sarah Fagerburg tried a variety of different schooling types, from public schools to homeschooling, but she always felt there had to be something better. In the spring of 2023, she discovered Acton Academy from listening to a podcast, and knew that this was the educational model she had been seeking.
“My mind was blown,” said Fagerburg. “I had no idea education could be this good.”
She applied to open her own Acton Academy, and was accepted into the fast-growing network of approximately 300 independently operated schools, emphasizing learner-driven education. Fagerburg launched Acton Academy Johnson City last fall with 13 students, including four of her own children. Today, she has 26 K-6 students enrolled in her secular microschool, with plans to add a middle school and high school program in the coming years. “Parents want this. They love it,” said Fagerburg, adding that some families drive up to 45 minutes each way for their children to attend her program.
She says she sees enormous demand for the Acton Academy model, and hopes to open more locations in Tennessee, but access is a key concern. “I grew up poor,” said Fagerburg. “I never would have been able to attend a school like this.”

Three people were killed and nine others wounded in a mass shooting early Monday in Philadelphia’s Grays Ferry neighborhood, marking another violent incident during the city’s Fourth of July weekend, police said, CBS News reported.
A shooting just before 1 a.m. Monday in the 1500 block of South 27th Street left three people dead and nine others injured, according to Philadelphia police.
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said officers had already responded to the same block late Saturday and into early Sunday, making arrests during that earlier disturbance. Police continued to monitor the area throughout the weekend, returning on Sunday night to address reports of loud music.
The Grays Ferry area is 54% black, so I guess the shooters must have been White Supremacists.

The MAGA movement erupted in disbelief Monday after top administration officials said convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein had not blackmailed elite figures, kept a “client list” or was murdered in prison.
*sigh* There is no ‘MAGA movement’. MAGA is a phrase created by Trump to encapsulate his approach to governance. The Left, obsessed with ‘movements’, is firmly convinced that everybody everywhere is part of some ‘movement’. Trump has supporters, true, and those supporters share his vision for America, but there is no ‘movement’ except in the sense that they all tend to proceed in the same direction–behind Trump (which can be difficult at times).
This leads to serious stupidity, like persisting in thinking Steve Bannon is somehow part of (and, even more stupid, somehow a spokesperson for) the ‘MAGA movement’ despite the fact that Trump threw him overboard a long, long time ago.
It’s a real head-scratcher how he people who spend their daytime hours wringing their hands over ‘conspiracy theories’ aren the chief generators of equally silly conspiracy theories on the part of the Left.

Hamas has placed active bounties on American aid workers in Gaza and has demanded that the United States cease all humanitarian operations as a ceasefire condition, according to a State Department cable obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Hamas, the State Department disclosed in a June 30 cable sent from the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, has “formally placed bounties” on U.S. and Palestinian workers with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a joint U.S.-Israeli aid effort formed in February to replace the Hamas-friendly United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). The bounties imperil “Palestinian workers and the U.S. security contractors helping to protect the GHF distribution sites,” the cable reads.
The cable, marked “sensitive but unclassified,” confirms a Free Beacon report from June outlining Hamas’s plans to attack American aid distribution centers and pull the United States into direct conflict with Palestinian militant factions. The embassy sent the cable over the State Department’s internal system shortly before Hamas injured two American workers in a Saturday terror attack on a food distribution outpost in Gaza’s Khan Younis neighborhood.
Takeaways:
- Muslim terrorists are scumbags, now and forever.
- UN Agencies see their job as enabling scumbags, now and forever.

Firstly, the official message was hammered home: “we will not let these people—the suicide bombers—divide us.” Secondly, the people paying attention became increasingly divided from the government itself.
7/7 itself was the second most lethal single terror attack on British territory—the worst being the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988—inflicting 52 fatalities, Uniquely at the time, the mass casualty assault on London was known to have been initiated by at least four British citizens, three of them born in England.
But Muslims nevertheless. “Birthright citizenship” in the absence of meaningful assimilation merely harbors serpents in your bosom.
The problem is that the 52 dead didn’t simply ‘lose their lives’ as if a particularly virulent strain of influenza hit them: they were murdered by Islamists.
Saying the quiet part out loud.

How can a leftist group present itself as the authority on “hate groups” in public, touting the fact that police and even the FBI have relied on its materials, and then reverse course when challenged in court, claiming that its statements are unprovable “opinion” rather than expert statements of fact?
Has the Southern Poverty Law Center no shame? To ask the question is to answer it.
As I wrote in my book, “Making Hate Pay,” the SPLC has long engaged in ritual character assassination, putting mainstream conservative and Christian nonprofits on a “hate map” with chapters of the Ku Klux Klan, claiming that the map exposes the “infrastructure upholding white supremacy.” It persisted in doing this after the “hate map” inspired a terrorist attack in 2012 and after a former employee called the “hate” accusations a “highly profitable scam.”
The SPLC uses the “hate map” as a sword, eviscerating the reputations of its political and ideological opponents. When these targeted conservatives seek redress in court, the SPLC erects an extremely disingenuous shield, claiming that the “hate group” accusation is a mere matter of opinion, not liable for defamation because it doesn’t involve any specific “facts.”
A well-crafted lawsuit has cut right to the heart of this slimy argument, however, and the SPLC is desperately twisting itself in knots to avoid facing a jury trial on the merits.

I walked into that house meeting with a knot of anxiety, a strange sense of paranoia. An hour later, I was running into the freezing Ohio night, barefoot and coatless, tears blurring my vision. My paranoia, it turns out, was simply an instinct for survival.
During my last year at Kenyon College, my roommates, all members of Students for Justice in Palestine, called a meeting. There, I sat for an hour, stunned, as they hurled baseless accusations at me.
When I couldn’t stop the tears, I said, “I’m sorry, I have to go now, I’m starting to cry.” No apologies came. Only cold stares from my housemates, one even smiling as I desperately blinked back tears.

A disturbing report from a Hamburg elementary school has revealed growing Islamist pressure on children in German classrooms, with one young girl allegedly assaulted and humiliated for refusing to wear a headscarf.
In the BR podcast Kaffee extra Schwarz, journalist Oliver Mayer-Rüth described how Muslim pupils at a school in Hamburg’s Steilshoop district told a German girl her uncovered blonde hair was “haram”—forbidden under Islamic law—and demanded she cover it. When she refused, she was beaten on several occasions. According to her mother, classmates also said she did not belong at the school because of her appearance.
The podcast, co-hosted by Arab-born Islam critic Ahmed Mansour, also relayed allegations that several parents and even some teachers had openly praised the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre of Israeli civilians. At a school event, an Afghan father reportedly spoke positively about the Taliban regime.

After the first few months, one of Germany’s pilot projects—requiring unemployed asylum seekers to enroll in community service or have their social benefits cut—has produced abysmal results, as every other migrant with work obligations refused to show up, despite the incentives and threat of sanctions.
The data was reported by Udo Recktenwald, the CDU district administrator of St. Wendel in Saarland, which joined three other CDU-led districts this spring in expanding a program launched last year, hoping to serve as a successful integration model that could be later implemented across the country.
The idea is that asylum seekers who are issued compulsory community service hours would be more compelled to find actual jobs, accelerating their integration into German society. Regularly showing up for the service (such as maintaining public parks) is also incentivized through preferential access to German language classes, while disregarding the order carries the risk of having their social benefits cut or eliminated.

Last Thursday a “Belgian” man became angry with his wife, so he doused her in a flammable liquid and set her on fire in front of their children.
We learn from this Remix News article (which references a Dutch article) that the arsonist is a culture-enricher from Kosovo. However, the following brief news video makes no mention of cultural enrichment when it describes the plight of the unfortunate firebug, who fell off a roof after being pursued by police.
Imagine how peaceful the world would be if the Religion of Peace didn’t exist.

The Present Age.
The New York Times wants you to know something very important about Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee for New York City mayor: When he was 17 years old applying to college, he checked multiple boxes on a race question.
That’s it. That’s the story.
On Thursday, the Times published what it apparently considered a major scoop about how Mamdani — who is of Indian descent, was born in Uganda, and lived in South Africa before moving to America at age 7 — identified himself as both “Asian” and “Black or African American” on his 2009 Columbia University application. He also wrote in “Ugandan” to clarify his background, tried to represent his complex identity within the limited options available, and was rejected from the school anyway.
This might strike you as a complete non-story. A teenager filling out college forms tried to accurately capture that he was, quite literally, an Asian person from Africa? Stop the presses! But the Times didn’t just report this as some minor curiosity. They splashed it across their website and ran a print headline suggesting scandal — “Mamdani Faces Scrutiny Over College Application” — and gave his opponent, Eric Adams, prime real estate to declare this was “an insult to every student who got into college the right way.”
Here’s what makes this journalistic malpractice even worse: The Times got this “scoop” from a white supremacist who had access to a hacked Columbia’s admissions database. They knew this. They gave him anonymity anyway. And according to Semafor’s reporting, they rushed to publish because they were terrified of being beaten to the story by Christopher Rufo, the right-wing activist who manufactured the “critical race theory” panic.
Just a reminder that however Woke the Narrative Media might be, there are always packs of jackals on the Left waiting for them to commit sins of ideological impurity against Holy Identity Politics.
Look at the people who are always obsessed about race. You won’t find them on the right.

In Berlin, immigrants can now complete the naturalization process entirely online, without ever having to appear in person at government offices. According to Bild, the capital has ”completely digitized” the process, eliminating even basic requirements such as proof of language proficiency and identity verification.
While migrants in other German federal states are still required to undergo in-person screening, Berlin authorities typically only meet applicants after they have already received their naturalization certificate. The State Office for Immigration told Bild that ”even a separate interview for identity verification or a language test before the decision on naturalization can generally be omitted.”
From January to June 2025, a total of 20,060 migrants became German citizens in Berlin—more than double the total for the entire year of 2023. This sharp increase has drawn criticism from other states. A spokesperson for the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Interior told Bild that ”individual procedural steps of the naturalization process are strictly tied to a personal appearance.”
Overall, the trend in Germany is clearly moving towards more naturalizations. In 2024, more people were granted German citizenship than in any year since uniform registration began in 2000. According to data from 13 federal states obtained by Welt am Sonntag, a total of 249,901 individuals were naturalized in those states alone.
