One of the stranger things to come from the collection of sub-cults that make up the modern Left is the concept of stochastic terrorism. In the hands of the believers, it is not so much a concept as an incantation. They chant it online in response to anything that contradicts their beliefs. On Twitter, for example, they believe that if enough believers chant it in response to a tweet they do not like, the gods of on-line moderation will strike down the offending tweet and maybe the tweeter.
Taken literally, it is a meaningless expression. The first dictionary definition of stochastic is random and the second is “involving chance or probability.” The word comes from the Greek word “to guess” and has been used in various fields to describe a range of probabilities within a process. Terrorism, of course, is the use of violence and fear to achieve an ideological aim. Taken together, stochastic terrorism would literally mean random violence to achieve a political aim.
As is often the case, it has two meanings in the cult of the modern Left. One is the purely emotional definition, which is always the primary one. Stochastic terrorism is anything that upsets the user by disconfirming her beliefs. Someone posting crime statistics, for example, is accused of stochastic terrorism because crime statistics contradict left-wing beliefs about society. The phrase is simply a way to mark someone as a heretic or blasphemer.

The same Florida magistrate who approved the raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home will decide on Thursday if we can see why he approved it. We’d like to check his work, you understand. Because it looks like the FBI is up to its old tricks again. Indeed, the FBI’s supposed “leaker” who complained about Trump’s document cache seems to have obliterated the excuses we’ve heard for the raid and laid bare the sole reason behind it: get Trump.

A homeowner’s greatest property right is not how many uses a homeowner can use their home, but neighborhood protection from uses not beneficial to single-family homes.
The city of Dallas is losing homeowners while this critical population moves further away. The health of Dallas is at risk as the number of homeowners in the city is declining and city becoming, like many elsewhere, essentially one of renters.
People are leaving the city of Dallas not because they do not like the world-renowned museums, Nasher Sculpture Center, celebrated restaurants or the fabulous people that live here. People leave Dallas for cities, suburbs, and towns that have neighborhoods that are more stable, safer, greener and more homeowner friendly.

It’s almost time for kids to go back to school! If you live in California however, you should consider homeschooling.
California’s Newport-Mesa school district is using a “Genderbread Identity” man in its curriculum this year to facilitate conversations about gender, sexuality and everything in-between (pun intended), Fox Digital reported Tuesday.
The Genderbread man is reportedly part of CA’s “Teen Talk,” which targets middle and high school students in California. It’s purpose is to talk to teenagers about sexual topics and brainwash them with the left’s woke, radical agenda.
Fox Digital shared images of the curriculum and lets just say, an eyeball bleach bath was necessary after viewing.

ZMan turns over a rock.
A generation ago, most Americans associated political prisoners and the secret police with communism and third world dictatorships. A dictator ignored the needs of his people and threw political opponents into dungeons, while lining his pockets and those of his cronies. The communist societies used the secret police to spy on and intimidate the people. The free world had its faults, but it lacked this sort of compulsion, because it was a rules-based system of politics.
Those not around a generation ago are left to imagine what such a world was like, because present day America is nothing like a generation ago. The last three decades have seen a steady slide into the features we used to associate with police states and third world dictatorships. The regime is too busy stuffing its pockets to attend to the people’s business. They use the secret police to harass critics and a deeply corrupt legal system to jail dissidents.

Project Veritas has an excellent story on Lisa Murkowski’s path to reelection. It follows from the ballot measure narrowly adopted by Alaska voters in 2020. The path combines an open “nonpartisan” primary with 19 candidates. The top four candidates in today’s open primary will proceed from the primary to the November election.
In the November election voters are then to rank their choices among the four candidates on the ballot. If no candidate receives 50 percent plus one of the first-choice votes, the election will be decided by the ranked-choice voting method. Ballotpedia explains the applicable ranked-choice scheme here.
Ranked-choice voting is sometimes called an ‘Australian ballot’. The key here is that if Democrats can’t get their candidate elected (and they can’t), RINO Murkowski will be their second choice.

It appears that Oberlin has another major controversy on its hand. For the last couple years, Oberlin has been embroiled in a fight with a small family-owned grocery that it defamed over a shoplifting case involving black students. Oberlin lost $25 million in a record verdict but Oberlin President Carmen Twillie Ambar continued to refuse to apologize. In the meantime, the school seems intent on running the 137-year-old grocery into insolvency as it delays paying on the judgment. Now the school is under fire over a faculty member, Mohammad Jafar Mahallati, who supported the fatwa against Salman Rushdie. The author of Satanic Verses is recovering from a savage knife attack. Hadi Matar, 24, is accused of carrying out the stabbing attack and has expressed support for Iran in the past. The campaign to have Mahallati fired could present some difficult free speech and academic freedom questions.

The Clintons perfected the 3-D communications strategy, Delay, Deny, Deceive. The Biden Administration has added a 4th D – Define. For example, look at how the Biden Administration has handled the Inflation issue.
1) Delay – for the first year, inflation was transitory and just the result of supply chain issues… Wait it out.
2) Deny – Its oil prices. The president doesn’t have a magic lever to control the price of oil; there’s not much he can do.
3) Deceive – Biden can no longer stand still and wait for the markets to reach price equilibrium on their own. So Joe Biden must appear to do something. So a fire sale of the strategic oil reserve and a quick trip to the Middle East where he pointlessly meets with pariah heads of state. All efforts in the appearance of reducing the price of oil (with little to no expectation that these ‘efforts’ would ever be successful.) To show how serious the Biden Administration is on lowering the price of oil, the Bureau of Land Management canceled all drilling and exploration leases in Wyoming.
4) Define – The economic contraction you’re experiencing as a result of the mismanagement of the Biden administration is NOT, in fact, a recession.

When Samir Azzuz was convicted of financing terrorism last month in the Netherlands, it was not the Dutch-Moroccan’s first terrorism rodeo: in 2006, as a member of the Dutch terror cell the Hofstadgroep, his detailed plans for terror attacks on the Dutch security agency AIVD and on various politicians landed him a 13-year sentence in a maximum security prison.
The Hofstadgroep is best known for a terror attack by another member, Mohammed Bouyeri, who in 2004 shot and stabbed controversial filmmaker and writer Theo van Gogh in broad daylight on a busy street in Amsterdam, killing him.
After his early release in September 2013, Azzuz wasted little time resuming jihadist activities – this time raising funds to help smuggle so-called ISIS brides and their children out of the detainee camps where they are currently being held in Syria. In all, Azzuz, who was arrested again in 2019 on charges of financing terrorism, is believed to have raised more than $107,000 from various sources. More than 15 ISIS brides have found their way back to the Netherlands. And though another Hofstadgroep member told Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad in 2020 that the cost to smuggle a woman out of the camps at that time was about $5000, it is not known how many of those Azzuz helped finance.

The challenge: The cornea is a tough, transparent layer of tissue that covers the front of the eye. It helps focus light on the retina, and if it’s damaged by disease or injury, a person’s vision can suffer — worldwide, nearly 13 million people are blind due to problems with their corneas.
For people with keratoconus — a disease that causes the cornea to thin and bulge out — the only way to correct severely impaired vision is with a cornea transplant from a human donor.

David Cole fingers George Soros.
At 92 years old, George Soros is the last human experientially connected to the Holocaust who’s still actively taking lives. Sure, there are a few elderly ex-Nazis being dragged before German courts, but they’re insignificant (secretaries, bookkeepers) and their murderous exploits, if any, ended with the war.
Soros, a Jew who survived the Holocaust by posing as a gentile, kills people daily. How many? I think it’s safe to say that at least once every few days in cities ruled by Soros DAs an innocent person is murdered by a criminal who’s roaming the streets due to Soros’ machinations.
Soros himself has admitted that he bases his life’s work on his wartime experience. He’s the Nazis’ inadvertent posthumous revenge on America; the Jew the SS failed to catch likely conducts the equivalent of one Malmedy massacre per month.

The Satanic Verses are words of “satanic suggestion” which the Islamic prophet Muhammad is alleged to have mistaken for divine revelation. The verses praise the three pagan Meccan goddesses: al-L?t, al-‘Uzzá, and Man?t and can be read in early prophetic biographies of Muhammad by al-W?qid?, Ibn Sa’d and the tafsir of al-Tabar?. The first use of the expression in English is attributed to Sir William Muir in 1858.
The incident is accepted as true by modern scholars of Islamic studies, under the criterion of embarrassment, citing the implausibility of early Muslim biographers fabricating a story so unflattering about their prophet.[3][4] It was accepted by religious authorities for the first two centuries of the Islamic era, but was later rejected by some religious scholars (Ulama) as incompatible with Muhammad’s perfection (‘isma), implying that Muhammad is infallible and therefore cannot be fooled by Satan.
