Read it. Be your own Protestant church. Any number can play.
People in America forget (if they ever knew) that Christianity isn’t just a religion — it’s a church, an organized community with a hierarchy of authority and defined criteria for membership, just like the Boy Scouts or the Marine Corps.
This is why I always have to laugh at the “evangelicals” who bitch and moan about Mormons not being “real Christians”.
Guys, from the standpoint of the Church that was founded by the Apostles, you aren’t “real Christians” either.

Mark Steyn on the latest Bourne flick. My reaction to the film, which I really enjoyed, was to pray to God that our CIA was even half as effective as what we see on film. (He said No.)

Read it. Unions invariably destroy the industries that they dominate. We’ve seen it from manufacturing, we’re seeing it in autos, and we can expect to see it in government. This is a plain fact from history. Are so many people actively delusional?

Read it. I can’t imagine getting worked up about this, but apparently other people do. Sort of like forcing yourself into a club that won’t have you; sort of destroys the whole notion of “club”, doesn’t it. Of course, that’s usually the point, a dog-in-the-manger attitude that underlines the eternal truth that misery not only loves company, it will move heaven and earth to get it.
For that matter, if ACT UP attacks the sacramental elements of the Mass, is that a hate crime of some kind?
Yeah, but the penalty is enforced by somebody with a lot broader jurisdiction than the Feds.
