As additional details emerged, the story became even more appalling. It turns out that the Afghan perpetrator (who was shot dead by police) comes from a family of criminals. He had been previously convicted of arson. While in prison on the arson charge, he converted to Christianity specifically to avoid deportation when he got out. After his release, he was sent to an asylum facility for non-Muslims due to his status as an alleged Christian, and that’s where he went on his rampage.

A man in Brandenburg who suspected his wife of infidelity stabbed her 19 times, threw her out of a window, and then cut her throat all the way through. But the verdict was manslaughter rather than murder, because — for cultural reasons — the man did not understand that he had “base motives”.

Ariana Grande, of whom I had not heard until Salman Abedi killed 22 people at her “concert” in Manchester, has had herself tattooed with a picture of a bee, a symbol of Manchester’s industrious industrial past, as a “permanent tribute” to the city. Apparently, the other performers in her vulgar act have done likewise. Could courage, compassion, sympathy, self-sacrifice, indeed virtue itself, go further?

This could be the start of something big: a movement called Tattoos Against Terrorism, or TAT for short. If anything could convince the Islamic suicide bombers of the superiority of the Western way of life, with its fundamental freedoms, surely this could. Alternatively, it will terrify them into giving up.

A young Afghan entered Germany illegally when he was 16, claiming he had no papers. Now he is 20, and his case has been adjudicated: he has no grounds for asylum, and must leave the country.

The poor, poor Afghan boy is now enrolled in a trade school. When the police came to school to fetch him, Gutmenschen among his classmates — reinforced by outside agitators — staged a violent sit-in and fought with police.

A Turkish court has reportedly issued an arrest warrant for Oklahoma Thunder center Enes Kanter, charging him with “being a member of a terrorist organization.” The 25-year-old Kanter, a Turkish national who has been living in the United States since 2009, has been an outspoken critic of the increasingly authoritarian Turkish government. He is also a supporter of Fethullah Gulen, a former imam and former ally of Turkish President Recep Erdogan.

Seems to me that he’s been in this country long enough to apply for citizenship; nothing could be clearer than the superiority of this country over that in which he was born.

After the failed coup, Erdogan initiated a massive purge of academics, bureaucrats, members of the judiciary, and members of the media, claiming with little to no evidence that thousands of people were colluding with what the Turkish government now calls the “Gulen Terrorist Organization.” Kanter’s family in Turkey has publicly disowned him, with his father apologizing to Erdogan “and the Turkish people” for “having such a son.” That didn’t keep Kanter’s dad from losing his job at a university in Istanbul.

If Mexicans can do the ‘chain immigration’ thing, no reason why this family couldn’t.

Funny how Muslims don’t hesitate to engage in behavior that they denounce as ‘Islamophobia’ on the part of anybody else.

Facts are dribbling out about the terrorist attack in Manchester last night. The suicide bomber has not been identified as of this writing, but it is reported that he was “known to the authorities.” Another known wolf; but known wolves generally don’t turn out to have been as lonely as one might assume (as opposed to, say, most school shooters). A second 23-year-old man is under arrest. Time will tell whether he was involved, whether the murderer had support and inspiration from a radical mosque, and so on.

ISIS is claiming responsibility, and there are videos of radical Muslims celebrating the carnage. Whether the terrorist actually had any communication with ISIS is unknown and not very important. His method–a suicide vest or backpack stuffed with nuts, bolts and the like–was typical of Islamic terrorists, and instructions for these crude devices are easily available.

The European Commission continues to threaten Poland for its refusal to accept its quota of “refugees” as required under the ukases issued by the mandarins of Brussels.*

Interior Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said that accepting refugees would “certainly be worse” than penalties imposed by the European Union. And Prime Minister Beata Szydlo is standing firm.

It seems the Polish government has evaluated the effects of mass Muslim immigration, and decided that the terrorism, violence, rape, and criminality would be more damaging to Poland than anything Brussels could do to the country. Perhaps, by omission the resident is signalling a dislike for Germans or Russians or French or of speakers of Tamil. The irony is that people using one of the scripts displayed have oft-time exhibited murderous hatred for users of another of the scripts. Oh, well. The purpose of the sign is to signal the resident’s moral smugness to members of his own tribe.

A gunman opened fire in downtown Fresno on Tuesday, killing at least three people.

The suspect, 39-year-old Kori Ali Muhammad, harbored hatred of white people, Fresno police chief Jerry Dyer said after the shooting, the Fresno Bee reported.

Muhammad’s three victims were white. Muhammad was also reportedly involved in the killing of a motel security guard in Fresno on Sunday.

While being taken into custody, Muhammad reportedly shouted “Allahu Akbar.”

A leading Islamist party recently demanded punishment for bloggers who “insult” Islam and condemned the execution of the murderer of a prominent politician who spoke up against his country’s rigid blasphemy laws. The Islamist party also blamed the U.S.-led war on terror for the rise in global jihadism and the destruction of Islamic civilization.

For those of you wondering, the Islamist party in question is not the Ikhwan al-Muslimeen, or Muslim Brotherhood (MB), whose designation as a terrorist organization is currently a hot topic of debate in Washington. Rather, it is the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), a South Asian Sunni revivalist movement that has an active network in North America and the West.

At least five people were killed today in Stockholm, and more injured, when a man drove a stolen truck into a crowd. The driver, who wore a balaclava over his head, escaped. Authorities are treating the incident as a terrorist attack, and the modus operandi suggests Islamic terrorism, like the vehicle attacks in Nice, Berlin and Westminster Bridge.
