Eighteen African migrants are dead and 76 injured after a mass storming of the Spanish exclave of Melilla in North Africa.

A Spanish government spokesperson said about 2,000 migrants attempted to cross, and 133 managed to breach the border of the Spanish territory, according to Associated Press. Those who made it through proceeded to a local migrant center where Spanish authorities are evaluating their cases.

They do it because it works. If they manage to get through, it puts them into the system, and eventually they work their way into Europe. If the Spanish just threw them back over the border, this would soon cease to happen.

In what Al Jazeera characterized as a “violent, two-hour skirmish,” 49 members of the Spanish Civil Guard police were also injured. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said “human trafficking militias” had orchestrated “a well-organized, violent assault.”

And it will continue to happen so long as it continues to work.

Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank asked that simple question last week after the normally publicity-mad Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) told him it had nothing to say about a BDS chapter’s promotion of a “mapping project” condemned as antisemitic and a possible incitement to violence.

BDS is the campaign to isolate Israel through economic, academic, and social boycotts. The interactive map posted online earlier this month showed the world addresses for dozens of Jewish organizations and others who support Israel’s existence.

The goal, the webpage says, is “to reveal the local entities and networks that enact devastation, so we can dismantle them. Every entity has an address, every network can be disrupted.”

Iran’s defiance of the norms of international law and its subversion of the West continues with no relenting in its intensity and scope. Now, Iran once again sparks tension in the Persian Gulf by embarking on state-sponsored piracy, while its enrichment of uranium has reached the dangerous weapons-level grade.

On May 27, the notorious Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in cooperation with the Iranian Navy, launched a helicopter raid to seize two Greek oil tankers in the Persian Gulf. The “Prudent Warrior” and “Delta Poseidon” were sailing in international waters, 22 nautical miles off the coast of Iran. The Greek Foreign Ministry condemned Iran’s actions as “tantamount to acts of piracy.”

This incident happened just days after Athens announced that it would abide by U.S. sanctions on Russia by handing over a reported 700,000 barrels of Iranian crude oil from the Russian-flagged tanker “Lana.” The ship is owned by Russia’s Promsvyazbank, a bank critical to Russia’s defense sector. The U.S. Treasury designated the bank on Feb. 22 – just two days before the Russian invasion of Ukraine – “for operating or having operated in the defense and related materiel and financial services sectors of the Russian Federation economy.”

According to a new Open Doors report, “The Church on the Run: IDP and Refugee Report 2022”, Christian minorities are being deliberately driven from their homes and communities to erase the presence of Christianity from their regions.

Christians are more likely to be forced out of their homes or countries, and more likely to experience psychological and physical violence once displaced on account of their religious identity and activity.

Astonishingly, the biggest perpetrators of this are the victim’s family.

Cleveland’s 2019 police officer of the year is under investigation for a series of anti-Semitic social media posts that include praise for Adolf Hitler and the Hamas terrorist organization.

Ismail Quran is under investigation by the Cleveland police internal affairs unit for posting “inappropriate social media content,” a department spokesman told the Washington Free Beacon on Monday.

Quran has posted several anti-Semitic messages on social media, including a “salute to Hitler the great” and messages threatening violence against Jewish people, according to tweets provided by Canary Mission, a watchdog group that tracks anti-Semitic activity online.

Jihadist militants imprisoned in the United States are receiving cash and legal assistance from a website similar to Facebook that connects them with terrorist sympathizers and publicizes their location, including “GPS-coordinated satellite imagery of the facilities at which the inmates are held,” according to a watchdog group.

“At least two incarcerated ISIS operatives maintain registered profiles on the website, suggesting the accounts were generated by the operatives themselves,” according to a new investigation by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), a watchdog group that tracks jihadist behavior online. “Online ISIS supporters have raised awareness about ISIS operatives’ profiles on the website, raising potential security risks.” MEMRI is withholding the website’s direct address to avoid aiding in its recruitment.

In the north there is yet another crisis for the federal government to mismanage in a spectacular and embarrassing fashion. In Kaduna State the local bandit problem has reached critical levels. During three days (March 26-28) over 200 Hausa bandits attacked the Kaduna International Airport, killing a security guard, and forcing the airports to remain closed until May 23rd. The government upgraded security at the airport in an effort to restore public confidence in local aviation and airports.

On March 28th a coalition of local gangsters and Boko Haram Islamic terrorists used explosives to destroy some of the track and cause a locomotive and eleven passenger cars to derail, halting service on the 190-kilometer track from Kaduna City to Abuja, the Nigerian capital. The train had departed Abuja with 362 listed passengers. The derailment killed nine people and it is unclear how many are being held for ransom because 141 passengers are still unaccounted for. Many apparently returned home without notifying the railroad or police. Rail service was supposed to resume in May but a few more attacks and uncertainty over how many passengers are being held for ransom meant few people were willing to travel on that route until there were assurances that it was safe and there was news about how many passengers were being held by the kidnappers. One hostage, a banker, has been freed but refuses to provide any details. It is suspected that a large ransom was promptly paid. Few of the missing passengers can afford a substantial ransom and the attackers said they were willing to trade passengers for jailed bandits and Boko Haram members.

Around the world, ‘Muslim’ and ‘criminal’ are increasingly synonymous.

A suspected Australian ISIS terrorist has had his Australian citizenship returned after the High Court ruled that the government could not revoke a person’s citizenship if they are accused of terrorism-related conduct overseas.

The subject was Pentecost, but the message was bullets that killed more than 40 people in a Catholic congregation in Nigeria’s relatively serene Ondo state.

The priest was just giving the benediction at the end of a mass to celebrate Pentecost Sunday when at least four shooters detonated a bomb and began spraying bullets among trapped worshippers.

The venue of the horrific attack was Saint Francis Catholic Church in Owo, a quiet town in Ondo state, approximately 170 miles west of the capital Lagos. Unidentified gunmen attacked on June 5, killing and wounding close to 50 people.

Eyewitnesses said the attackers detonated explosives inside the chapel that tore plaster off ceilings and left many severely injured.

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu told the media at the scene that the killers were foreign fighters from Mali.

“Most of those that are carrying out these attacks are foreigners who were trained in Libya,” Akeredolu said, according to multiple media reports. The governor did not explain his opinion in detail.

Authorities in the northwestern Italian port city of Genoa on Tuesday were executing arrest warrants on 14 Pakistani citizens linked to the man who stabbed two people in September 2020 outside the former offices in Paris of the Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine. The suspects are accused of criminal association with an international terror group, and are suspected of belonging to a terror cell called “Gabar Group” with direct links to the attacker, Pakistani-born Zaher Hassan Mahmood, anti-terrorism investigators said in a statement.

An American mother from Kansas pleaded guilty in a U.S. federal district court on Tuesday to organizing and leading an all-female military battalion for the ISIS terrorist group in Syria. Allison Fluke-Ekren, a mother of five and former school teacher, admitted to training around 100 women and girls to support ISIS activities. She also plotted to carry out a terrorist attack on U.S. soil, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced, citing court documents.

On Saturday around 10:10 p.m. in the area of the Karlsruhe Palace Park, a rainbow flag was snatched away and burned by a group of people. This apparently developed into a brawl in which there were several minor injuries. Several had their hair pulled and were forced to the ground, where they continued to be beaten and kicked. A 27-year-old was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution; others were examined on-site by rescue teams.

BENI, Democratic Republic of Congo—Suspected ISIS terrorist affiliates killed at least 18 people in a village raid in eastern Congo on Sunday night, local sources said, while fighting resumed with the M23 rebel group in a neighbouring province.

Terrorists believed to be from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) killed residents and burned down houses in the village of Otomabere, in Irumu territory, Ituri Province, said a witness, a local chief and a local human rights group.

Congolese army spokesman Jules Ngongo confirmed the ADF attack without giving a death toll, and said Congolese forces were in pursuit of the assailants.

The ADF is an Ugandan ISIS affiliate that moved to eastern Congo in the 1990s.

During the Great Migration Crisis of 2015, throwing the doors wide to the “refugees” was sold to the German people as a way to make up for a shortage of highly skilled workers in the country’s economy. Seven years later, the official government statistics reveal the nature of the scam that was foisted on the public: more than half of the migrants are unemployed and/or unemployable, and most of the rest are employed in low-skilled menial jobs (which means they provide little or no tax revenue).

American Islamists continue exaggerating the depth of violence in Hindu-majority India and pushing alarmist rhetoric about an impending genocide of Muslims.

“Germany 1932 is here and now in India,” warns an editorial in the May-June issue of Islamic Horizons. “It won’t matter to the latter’s 212 million Muslims when, years later, some sages clumsily whisper ‘never again’ and then snicker. And yet the U.S. State Department refused to categorize India as a ‘country of concern’ on its religious freedom list.” The editorial describes India’s democratically elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a reincarnation of Adolf Hitler.

Except that Muslims loved Hitler. The Mufti of Jerusalem was an admirer, and there was at least one Muslim SS unit formed. (They were united by their hatred of Jews.)

Islamization in Germany’s education system has currently reached a level of progress that was not assumed, even in the boldest projections of 2015/2016, when the long-term social effects of a predominantly Arab-Maghreb Muslim mass immigration under the pressure of the wave of refugees were anxiously discussed. Not just where over 90 percent of non-German students at so-called “hotspot schools” dominate everyday school life, but also wherever Muslim students are — still — in the minority, a fatal attitude of submission and docility has become entrenched among school authorities and government officials, which, in cowardly and anticipatory obedience, places avoiding conflict at all costs above even a weary remnant of cultural self-assertion.

Marseille is possibly the most culturally enriched city in France. Yesterday a culture-enricher suddenly set upon and nearly killed a man with a knife outside a Catholic school in Marseille. The victim was said to have received cuts to his throat.

After a culture-enriching attack such as this one, the attacker is often described as stabbing his target “in the neck”. This is, of course, in obedience to the instructions given in Koran to behead the unbelievers. Most of the time the mujahid fails to achieve full decapitation, although it does happen sometimes, as in the cases of Lee Rigby and Samuel Paty.

Witnesses reported that the knifeman in Marseille shouted “in the name of Allah” as he stabbed his victim in the neck, yet investigators said that “terrorism” in this case seems unlikely.

Feeding Our Future and a related nonprofit, Partners in Nutrition (d/b/a Partners in Quality Care), were both founded in Minnesota in 2016 to help local organizations gain access to two lucrative federal free-food programs, the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Both were created to supplement the better-known federal school lunch program by filling the gaps during those hours (and months) that school is out of session. In Minnesota, the programs are overseen by the state Department of Education (MDE). It was the department, suspecting fraud in the programs, that alerted the FBI who then started the year-long investigation.

The lead nonprofits, known as sponsors, were just middlemen. For a 10 percent fee, they stitched together networks of hundreds of sites, dozens of subsidiary nonprofits, and private food vendors to distribute meals to hungry children. Many of these sites are believed to be completely legitimate, while others have been placed under suspicion. It is the private food vendors who are believed by the FBI to be the culprits in the fraud, taking tens of millions of dollars from the program, without feeding children.

Anti-Semitic harassment, vandalism, and assault was up 34 percent in 2021, with more than 2,700 incidents reported. New Jersey and New York had the most incidents ever—370 and 416, respectively—and New York City alone had 51 assaults—a 325 percent increase from 2020. Most took place in May 2021, when Hamas initiated an 11-day conflict with Israel, firing thousands of rockets on the Jewish state.

Assailants “choked, chased, threatened or struck [victims] with knives, cars, fireworks, or other objects,” according to the ADL. One shot a Jewish man with a BB gun as he was walking on a sidewalk. Another who was wielding a knife injured two parents and their one-year-old child. In Rockland County, N.Y., where nearly a third of the residents are Jewish, a speaker at a community event said, “If I run one of them over … of course I’m going to back over them again.” Many assaults and incidents of vandalism happened at synagogues and schools.

Already all but forgotten about in mainstream media headlines, war-torn Afghanistan has witnessed a series of deadly bombings this week, including the latest blast Friday which ripped through a mosque in the northern city of Kunduz.

Afghanistan’s national Tolo News has said as many as many as 30 people may have been killed in the attack, with dozens more wounded, and health officials at a nearby hospital have cited between 30 to 40 victims admitted.

The report details: “The district security chief, Hafiz Omar, said the blast occurred at 3:30 pm after explosives placed in the Mawlawi Secondar mosque detonated while many people were there to worship. The mosque is also used as a religious seminary.”

Trade in the amphetamine-type stimulant Captagon in the Middle East grew exponentially in 2021, to top $5 billion, posing an escalating health and security threat, a report this month from the New Lines Institute revealed.

Hizballah, Iran’s proxy in Lebanon, is one of the pivotal actors, along with Syrian President Bashar Assad’s family and high-ranking members of his regime. “Lebanon has served as an extension of the Syrian captagon trade, a key transit point for captagon flows, with Syrian government-connected Hizballah leaders participating in the trade’s expansion,” said the report’s authors, Caroline Rose and Alexander Söderholm.

Analysts believe drug trafficking is a key Hizballah revenue source, providing it with hundreds of millions of dollars annually.

These ceasefires are seen as futile because the Shia rebels have violated three such agreements so far and show no interest in change, especially since Iran support is crucial to the maintenance of the Shia military efforts.
