Christians in Lebanon have declined from a demographic majority to a minority.
Lebanon was majority-Christian starting from the first century (when Christianity was introduced by figures such as St. Peter and St. Paul) until the mid-20th century. Mount Lebanon, which remains the Christian heartland of the country, is frequently mentioned in the Bible.
Lebanon was conquered by the Arab Islamic Rashidun Caliphate in 636 AD following the defeat of the Christian Byzantine (Eastern Roman) Empire at the Battle of Yarmouk. The Ottoman Empire later occupied Mount Lebanon from its conquest in 1516 until the end of World War I in 1918. Lebanon gained independence from French rule in 1943.

“When people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature they will like the strong horse,” Osama bin Laden said at the beginning of his talk taking credit for the 9/11 attacks.
The line launched a thousand geopolitical analyses, was quoted by Thomas Friedman in the New York Times and was pored over endlessly by experts who completely missed the point.
Osama bin Laden was not talking about great powers or nations, he was talking about Islam.
“There is only one goaL,” Bin Laden continued, the supremacy of Islam. He followed that up with a quote from a Hadith that is known to virtually every Muslim, but to all too few non-Muslims. “I was ordered to fight the people until they say there is no god but Allah, and his prophet Muhammad.”

Two men inspired by Islamic state ideology were convicted on Tuesday in Manchester, England, of plotting what prosecutors said could have been one of the deadliest antisemitic attacks in British history.
Walid Saadaoui, 38, and Amar Hussein, 52, were both found guilty of preparing terrorist acts between December 2023 and May 2024. Saadaoui’s brother, Bilel Saadaoui, 36, was found guilty of failing to disclose information about an act of terrorism.
Prosecutors told jurors that Saadaoui and Hussein had “embraced the views” of Islamic State and had a “visceral dislike” of Jewish people.

Victor Davis Hanson.
We’ve had a lot of incidents worldwide of Islamic terrorism or threats of Islamic terrorism. The most egregious is in Bondi Beach, Australia, where two gunmen, a father and son, killed 16 people and wounded 40.
How that happens in front of police who reacted very quickly I don’t know. They were only stopped by a heroic Syrian immigrant who tackled one of the shooters and disarmed him.
The problem with all of this is that there was no needed reaction from the prime minister of Australia. We didn’t hear: We have to be very careful about radical Islam. These two people got two guns legally that they should not have had since they were on a watch lists with terrorist activity, and there was no reason that he, this one shooter, the father, had six guns, among them semi-automatic weapons.
One of the most gun-controlled societies in the world. We didn’t hear that.
Instead, we heard that they condone all extremism. This is not who we are. In the utmost—you know, the whole boilerplate. And then they said, we oppose all extremism. And it was a nanosecond before they said white extremism that had nothing to do with this.
Some ‘phobias’ are rational and justified. I disagee with Dr. Hanson’s use of the term ‘radical Islam’, as I would disagree with someone using the term ‘radical National Socialism’. Sorry, no. It’s turtles all the way down.

An ISIS-affiliated Islamist and two accomplices sexually assaulted women, targeted the Jewish community, and planned to carry out abductions, police said in a statement on Friday announcing the indictments against the three men, who were arrested in August.
The men — Waleed Khan, 26, Osman Azizov, 18, and Fahad Sadaat, 19, all from Toronto — face a total of 75 charges for “offenses targeting women and members of the Jewish community” involving sexual assaults and attempted abductions. The indictments followed a joint forces investigation, the Toronto Police Service said in a statement.
In a separate statement, federal authorities said Friday that Khan had provided funding and “social media accounts” to ISIS and was charged with “terrorism-related offenses.” The federal statement did not mention the two remaining defendants.
Khan was already charged in August with 33 offenses related to kidnapping, firearms, and auto theft, at around the same time as the arrest of his alleged accomplices. The terrorism charges brought against Khan and the indictment against the two alleged accomplices are new.

Concern remains, though, about the new White House team’s belief that jihadis can somehow be wooed with friendly outreach and financial incentives.

News trends surrounding radical Islam have surged in recent weeks amid a series of alarming developments across the West.
From the Afghan national who killed one U.S. National Guard troop and severely injured another near the White House, to a terror attack in Australia, and mounting threats against Christmas markets across Europe, the West increasingly appears to be under attack from within – all thanks to nation-killing mass migration.
At Turning Point USA’s annual gathering, AmericaFest, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard recognized this national security threat of radical Islam against the Homeland:

Crete is coming under mounting migration pressure as smugglers increasingly redirect illegal crossings toward Greece’s southern islands, exposing the limits of EU border control and shifting routes across the Mediterranean.
Greek authorities confirmed that more than 1,000 illegal migrants have arrived on Crete during December alone, with over 650 intercepted or rescued in just the past two days. On Friday, the Greek Coast Guard, supported by the EU border agency Frontex, rescued 545 migrants from an overcrowded fishing vessel detected off Gavdos, Greece’s southernmost island.
The migrants were transferred to Crete, where local authorities are already struggling with limited reception capacity. Further incidents followed overnight. A Coast Guard patrol intercepted a dinghy carrying 27 people some 45 nautical miles southeast of Kales Limeni, while another boat with 35 migrants was found near Psari Forada, in the municipality of Viannos. All were brought ashore and are expected to be placed in migrant facilities.

Susan Quinn.
he title of this post was the argument I encountered recently in an online discussion. The people who were making this proposal were not lunatics: they were law-abiding citizens who had a modicum of understanding about Islam. And they were dead serious.
We live, and for several years have lived, at a time where radical Islam is showing up all over the world. Although I personally believe there are law-abiding Constitutionalists among the Muslim population in the U.S., I am concerned that many Americans believe that any Muslim is a potential terrorist.
A position with which I agree, based on having read the Koran and the Hadiths, which all Muslims accept as normative religious guidance. (Ask any Muslim.)
When I asked people if they were prepared to deport all Muslims, even those who already had reputations as good Americans (M. Zuhdi Jasser comes to mind), a few noted the rule of taqqiya; this tenet allows people to lie to protect Islam. So, the suggestion was made that if people seemed to support America, how do we know they are telling the truth? Also, for those Muslims who are law-abiding, how do we know whether or not they will eventually succumb to the radical Islamist doctrine?
Exactly so. There were many ‘good’ Nazis in Germany, but they all served to prop up a genocidal totalitarian regime. There were many ‘good’ slave-owners but slavery remains an unmitigated evil. There are many ‘good’ socialists, but socialism remains an existential threat to all freedom and prosperity.
I’m not saying it would be easy. But if we fail, the results will be slavery for us and for our children.

Brussels is experiencing a sharp rise in violence, with multiple explosions and shootings reported over just five days in the Saint-Gilles municipality. The latest incident occurred on Wednesday evening on Rue du Céleri, near Place de Bethléem—a known hotspot for drug activity. Authorities confirmed that the street was cordoned off and that only material damage occurred. The Belgian army’s bomb disposal unit (DOVO) and police attended the scene, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the explosion.
This followed a Tuesday night blast in nearby Rue de Bosnie, believed to have been caused by fireworks. While it remains unclear whether the two incidents are connected, Saint-Gilles has also been the scene of two shootings this week. The first shooting took place last Saturday at around 3 a.m. on Rue du Métal, near the Parvis de Saint-Gilles. The second occurred on Monday at approximately 5 a.m. on Rue de Prague, only a few hundred meters from the first. In both cases, windows were hit, putting nearby residents—including children—at risk. Local authorities suspect the attacks were targeted. Mayor Jean Spinette explained that the area is home to two young individuals known to police and that authorities have previously restricted their access to certain streets to curb drug-related activity.
The surge in violence comes amid broader concerns about public safety in Brussels. According to police figures, the capital has seen 96 shootings in 2025—already surpassing last year’s total of 92. These incidents have resulted in eight deaths, and 48 injuries, compared to 43 last year. Only three years ago, in 2022, Brussels recorded 56 shootings, highlighting the rapid escalation of violence.

Authorities across Europe have thwarted two more Islamist-inspired terror plots targeting Christmas markets in as many days, with arrests in Germany and Poland adding to a relentless wave of threats that has placed the West under daily assault from radical extremists intent on exploiting open borders and soft security measures.
German authorities have arrested a 21-year-old man from Central Asia on suspicion of plotting an Islamist-motivated terror attack against large crowds at a Christmas market in Magdeburg—the same location where a Saudi national carried out a deadly vehicle ramming last year, killing six and injuring hundreds.
The suspect, who entered Germany as an au pair in 2024 and reportedly received military training, faces deportation amid a pattern of threats targeting Europe’s holiday traditions.

A large Syrian family from Stuttgart has cost the German state of Baden-Württemberg more than €500,000 in imprisonment and repatriation expenses, according to a response from the state Justice Ministry to a parliamentary inquiry by the Alternative für Deutschland (AfD).
Authorities investigated around 20 family members in connection with approximately 160 criminal offences, the ministry said. In October, 17 members of the family left Germany in what officials described as a “controlled departure.” The costs associated with their exit—including flights, subsidies, and document fees—amounted to €45,228.57.
The ministry said allowing the individuals to remain in Germany would have resulted in significantly higher costs, adding that their departure was considered both the “most economic solution” and the only way to end their stay. According to public broadcaster SWR, the family members held either refugee status or subsidiary protection.
Much higher costs were incurred through earlier prison sentences. Based on a daily incarceration cost of €180, the imprisonment of five family members resulted in expenses of €478,228, according to the ministry’s figures.

New Year’s has been canceled in Paris. The New Year’s Eve concert was pre-recorded with actors pretending to be the audience. The fireworks will appear on TV. And there will be no one to count the countdown because the Champs-Élysées has become France’s latest ‘no-go’zone’.
Ten years ago, Mayor Anne Hidalgo of Paris had threatened to sue FOX News for correctly reporting that there were ‘no-go-zones’ in Paris. “The image of Paris has been prejudiced, and the honour of Paris has been prejudiced,” she fumed.
Now, Mayor Hidalgo decided that even with the 6,000 police officers that had been deployed to secure the Paris event last year, the Champs-Élysées could not be protected against Islam.

The office of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis responded Wednesday to the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ lawsuit claiming that DeSantis violated federal law when he designated CAIR a foreign terrorist organization last week.
“We don’t negotiate with terrorists,” DeSantis’ communications director, Alex Lanfranconi, told The Daily Signal in a statement Wednesday.
The governor designated CAIR, which bills itself as the largest Muslim civil rights organization in the country, a foreign terrorist organization alongside the Muslim Brotherhood. President Donald Trump established a process for designating chapters of the Muslim Brotherhood foreign terrorist organizations in November.
DeSantis’ executive order notes that members of the Islamic Association for Palestine, an organization affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and created to support Hamas in the U.S., founded CAIR in 1994.
It notes that CAIR was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror financing case in 2009 and claims that CAIR associates “have been convicted of providing, and conspiring to provide, material support to designated terrorist organizations.” Convictions trace back to the 2009 Holy Land Foundation case.

In a sign of just how fast the demographic situation is developing in Austria, Vienna has hit a major new milestone, marking the first time that more than half the first-grade population do not understand German.
The news highlights just how dramatic the demographic crisis facing Europe is, which has seen falling educational standards across the continent, in large part due to mass immigration.
“For the first time, more than half of the first-graders in Vienna’s public elementary schools do not understand German,” the Vienna People’s Party reported on Friday.
The data shows that 50.9 percent of first-graders, or 10,931 students, must be classified as special needs students in the current school year.
This already comes after reports from last year that over 75 percent of students in Vienna’s middle school system do not speak German at home, choosing another foreign language instead.

A fresh surge of migrants crossing the English Channel has been reported, with hundreds attempting the journey toward the UK this morning. People smuggling gangs exploited a brief weather window of less than 12 hours to launch dinghies along a 60-mile stretch of the French coast, from Dunkirk down to Wissant near Boulogne.
At least 400 people were sighted attempting to cross the Channel, with several boats already reaching British waters. The arrivals follow 74 individuals who landed in Dover aboard the Border Force vessel Typhoon last night. Authorities confirmed that the latest crossings included 15 women and one child. French officials also reported that a pregnant woman and a three-year-old child were hospitalized in Calais after suffering hypothermia, their boat having been forced to turn back with around 50 passengers on board.
Maritime security sources condemned the actions of criminal smuggling networks, describing the operations as “reckless” and profit-driven, with little concern for the safety of the migrants.

Alice Cordier is one of the most prominent young voices of the new European counter-feminist movement. As the leader of Collectif Némésis in France, she has become known for denouncing the blindness of mainstream feminism toward the consequences of mass immigration on women’s safety and civil liberties. Her activism confronts both the political establishment and the dominant cultural narratives, placing her at the center of France’s heated debates on identity, security, and women’s rights.
Under her leadership, Collectif Némésis has staged high-impact public actions, often facing hostility from far-left groups and resistance from institutional actors. Cordier and her colleagues argue that the protection of European women cannot be separated from broader questions of borders, national identity, and social cohesion. Their efforts have earned them both enthusiastic support and intense opposition, making Némésis one of the most controversial feminist initiatives in contemporary France.
At MCC Brussels’ ‘Battle for the Soul of Europe’ gathering, where thinkers, politicians, and activists from across the continent met to discuss Europe’s future, Cordier brought a stark message: Europe is undergoing a civilizational shift, and young women must take a leading role in confronting the cultural and security challenges posed by uncontrolled immigration. She spoke with europeanconservative.com‘s Javier Villamor about the situation facing women in France.

Germany has again flown in Afghan migrants from Pakistan, with a charter flight bringing 160 individuals to Berlin on Tuesday, December 16th.
According to the Federal Ministry of the Interior, 154 of the arrivals were approved under the federal reception program, while six were local staff and their relatives.
Many of those transported had been waiting months to leave Pakistan. The government intends to bring in a total of 541 Afghans under these programs by the end of the year.
Afghan citizens who renounce entry despite prior approval may receive a one-time payment of between €2,500 and €10,000 in “start-up aid”—intended to facilitate their return to Afghanistan.
Despite the government indicating a stop to family reunification, new figures from the Federal Foreign Office show continued high levels of admissions via this route. Around 105,000 national visas have been issued so far in 2025 for family reunification. A large portion of the individuals arriving come from Syria, Turkey, India, Kosovo, Albania, and Iran.
Last year, 123,675 people entered Germany under family reunification, showing little change compared to previous years. Since 2020, approximately 657,000 people have entered Germany through the visa system for family reunification.
The suspension announced this summer applies specifically to persons entitled to subsidiary protection, set to last for two years. However, broader family reunification continues unabated, with tens of thousands of people entering the country.

Indian police said on Tuesday, December 16th, that one of the two gunmen behind the mass shooting at Sydney’s Bondi Beach was an Indian citizen who left the country nearly three decades ago.
Sajid Akram, originally from Hyderabad, migrated to Australia in November 1998 in search of work, according to police in the southern state of Telangana.
Akram and his son, Naveed—listed as an Australian citizen in immigration records—opened fire on people celebrating the Jewish festival of Hanukkah on Sunday, December 14th, killing at least 15. Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the attackers were driven by Islamic State ideology and that the assault was intended to spread fear within the Jewish community.
Indian authorities said Akram had maintained only limited contact with his family in Hyderabad since leaving the country and had no criminal or adverse record in India. His relatives in India told police they were unaware of any signs of radicalisation, adding that the factors behind the attack appeared to have no connection to India or local influences in Telangana.
As long as Islam exists, ‘jihadis’ will be a problem. It’s been that way for 1400 years, and there is no indication that it will change. Whether our Ruling Class will continue prating how ‘peaceful’ Muslims are while ignoring the mass murder, or whether they will wake up and decide to do something about it, is an exercise left for the reader.

Hold the front page! A new report from Amnesty International has documented “abuses by Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups during the attacks of 7 October 2023 on southern Israel and the treatment of those seized and held captive in the occupied Gaza Strip.”
This marks a step up from the civil rights group’s previous low-key recognition that Hamas and others committed war crimes, as legally defined, during their October 7th pogrom.
Critics have noticed the glacial pace with which Amnesty trundled into action, especially in comparison to its prompt condemnations of Israel culminating, for now at least, in tech-savvy sounding allegations of “livestreamed genocide.”
Despite both its news coverage and its late delivery, the report still manages to pull its punches. Charles Lane, nonresident senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, claims
A planned report on the terrorist group’s crimes turned into a moral muddle, including a long critique of Israel.
The delay and equivocation are reportedly the product of internal divisions within Amnesty itself, sections of which appear more sympathetic to Hamas terrorists than others.
Doubters of the righteousness of Amnesty International can now look forward to the timely publication of its report into Boer War-era human rights violations.
Unfortunately, Amnesty International (as its name implies) has been a core Woke NGO since it’s inception. They will report abuses by Their Side of an issue only when it can’t be avoided.

A man, described in the German national press only as a 21-year-old Central Asian, was arrested in Magdeburg on Friday to prevent him from carrying out attacks against large crowds.
The timing and location are significant. Just a year ago, a Saudi psychiatrist and refugee who was known to German police drove a car into a crowded Magdeburg Christmas market during the city’s festivities, killing six people. It is for this reason that this year’s market quietly opened under tight security.
So too are the few details that have been made public about the Central Asian suspect. Welt reports that he came to Germany last summer and completed nursing training. Security sources claim that he has military experience (!) and that there are indications he planned to carry out an attack using a vehicle.

An Italian appeal court has ordered the release of a Turin-based imam who had praised the October 7 Hamas pogrom in Israel, ruling that his remarks did not pose an immediate threat to public security.
Mohamed Shahin, a 46-year-old Egyptian national who has been resident in Italy for 21 years, was arrested by counter-terrorism police on November 24th, after the Interior Ministry issued an expulsion order and revoked his residence permit. Shahin has been detained in the Caltanissetta repatriation centre since November 24th, awaiting deportation.
His defence lawyers appealed the order, and the appeal court found that Shahin’s remarks did not constitute “a concrete and present danger” to public security. So the imam is now free to go, despite an existing deportation order issued against him.

Bondi is the pre-eminent such landmark, a snapshot of our world, full of bronzed people strutting about in board shorts and swimmers. Now it will also be remembered as a blood-soaked place of terror, hatred, and mass murder. At least fifteen people are dead, with many more in a critical condition. And the death toll is likely to grow.
The attacks by father-and-son pair Sajid and Naveed Akram seem increasingly likely to have been connected to Islamic State. Police have found ISIS flags in the perpetrators’ cars. The two men visited the Philippines for an unknown purpose, unaccompanied by any other family members, just weeks before the attacks. In 2019, Naveed was investigated by authorities under suspicion of links with a Sydney ISIS cell. While he was not deemed a threat, he has a history of ISIS adjacency.

Christmas is just around the corner, which means it’s time for large trucks to go barreling through Germany’s Christmas markets, tearing up vendors’ booths and squashing unsuspecting shoppers under their wheels — much as they did nine years ago this week at the Breitscheidplatz in Berlin.
Police in Lower Bavaria were able to thwart a plot to launch a vehicular jihad attack against a Christmas market in Dingolfing. The vehicles were thought to have an “Islamist” motive — or perhaps their would-be drivers did; in any case, the ideology was “Islamism”, and not true Islam, which as we all know is a peaceful religion that would never consider perpetrating such vile and murderous deeds.

After a 28-day hiatus, hundreds of migrants attempted to cross the Channel from France to the United Kingdom, taking advantage of favourable weather conditions.
The overcrowded and dangerous boats—each averaging a reported 64 passengers—were spotted and escorted through British waters by Border Force and coastguard units, according to the authorities.
Officials say the resumption of crossings points to increased activity by human trafficking networks, sparking further scrutiny of British border control and migration policy.

German authorities have arrested five men suspected of planning an Islamist-motivated attack on a Christmas market in southern Germany, the Munich public prosecutor’s office announced.
The suspected target was a Christmas market in the Dingolfing area of Bavaria, though officials have not named the exact location. Four of the men are under formal arrest warrants, while a fifth has been placed in preventative custody.
Investigators believe the Islamist-inspired attack involved using a car. The suspects include an Egyptian, a Syrian and three Moroccan nationals.
Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said fast cooperation between security services helped prevent a possible atrocity.
On Friday, December 12th a knife attack occurred at a Christmas market in Herford, which left a 16-year-old boy fighting for his life. Security at Christmas markets remains high across Germany following several deadly incidents.

“Somali Immigrants Are Revitalizing Main Street America,” NBC News claimed. A barrage of similar stories hailed Somalis and other Muslim migrants for ‘transforming’ Middle America.
After President Trump’s criticism of Somali abuse, triggered by reporting of massive $1B plus frauds conducted by the David Horowitz Freedom Center and other conservative media outlets, the media has rushed out more of these same stories about Somali accomplishments.
But let’s look at some of the facts.

This month’s newsletter brings us the usual litany of Islamic oppression of women in places under sway of sharia (Islamic Law). But increasingly troubling are the incidences of such behavior towards women in places once considered part of Western Civilization — in Europe and even in the U.S. as well. Unless countered, the plight of Women Under Sharia will only expand.

The Israeli military struck a car in Gaza City on Saturday carrying senior Hamas commander Raed Saad, one of the architects of the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks on Israel, according to an Israeli defense official and Israeli media.
The strike killed four people, according to Gaza health authorities. While there was no immediate confirmation from Hamas or medics whether Saad was among the dead, later an IDF spokesman confirmed Saad had been killed via a social media post.
The post read: “Every place where we identify that Hamas is trying to regroup, we act. Earlier today, the IDF eliminated Raad Saad, whose elimination constitutes a blow to Hamas’s attempts at regrouping and strengthening. We will not allow our enemies to regroup and rebuild their strength. We will continue to be committed to continuing the ceasefire agreement.”

The Telegraph (UK).
At least 12 people were killed after gunmen opened fire at a Hanukkah celebration on Australia’s Bondi Beach.
More than 50 gunshots were heard as hundreds of people fled the scene in Sydney at around 6:40pm local time on Sunday.
Videos show two men dressed in black firing rifles toward the beach from a bridge above a nearby car park as sirens sound in the distance. One of the gunmen is tackled by a bystander before retreating to retrieve another weapon.
Police said one of the alleged shooters was killed, a second remains in critical condition, and searches are ongoing amid reports of a possible third offender.
The shooting, which has left at least 29 people injured, targeted Sydney’s Jewish community and is being treated as a terrorist incident, New South Wales premier Chris Minns said.
One of the alleged gunmen has been named as Naveed Akram.
The 24-year-old is said to have been killed by police while another alleged attacker is in custody.
His driver’s licence says he was lives in Bonnyrigg, a suburb of Sydney.

A Minnesota State University student has sparked outrage and a federal investigation after posting a video on TikTok in which he explicitly threatened to shoot Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
“ICE, I actually heard you guys pulled up to Owatonna, the big O, and you pulled up when I was not there? Y’all so p–s-ass s–t, boy. You’re gonna get popped next time I see you,” the student, identified by the New York Post as Hasan Mohamed, said in the clip, which was later deleted. “Bring the whole cavalry. Yeah, boy, you guys are scared.”

There are two kinds of antisemites in the world: Those that hate Jews and know it, and those that promote the hatred of Jews and don’t. I learned about both on one tragic October day in 1983. And on another tragic October day 40 years later.
Strictly speaking, this is not ‘anti-semitism’—after all, the Arabs are Semites, too—but more accurately Judenhasse, ‘Jew-hatred’.

On Monday, December 8th, the European Union took a decisive step in the reconfiguration of its migration policy by approving a package of measures that tightens border control, speeds up returns, and allows the externalization of asylum application processing.
The agreement, backed by the interior ministers of the 27 member states, confirms the political shift the bloc has been experiencing in recent years and which responds, to a large extent, to the rise of patriotic and conservative parties and the progressive decline of traditional forces.
The new provisions, which include the creation of processing and return centers outside European territory and the expansion of the list of ‘safe countries,’ represent one of the biggest reworkings of the asylum system since the so-called migration crisis of 2015. The European Commissioner for Migration, Magnus Brunner, acknowledged after the meeting that Europe is at “a turning point” and that the current system “cannot continue tolerating abuses or unsustainable pressure.” Brussels thus admits, for the first time with this level of clarity, that the current framework is overwhelmed and that the priority is to regain control.

A monument in Lisbon commemorating Jews killed during a 1506 massacre was defaced last week with neo-Nazi slogans, including with a reference to Adolf Hitler.
The Star of David-shaped statue outside a central church was marked with “Haltz Judeu 1488,” prompting condemnation from the Jewish Community of Lisbon. David Joffe Botelho, president of the Lisbon Jewish Community, urged authorities to take proactive measures against rising antisemitism, calling for the restoration of the monument and swift punishment of those responsible.
Another incident occurred in Brussels when a nativity scene in the city’s Grand-Palace was spray-painted with the words “Free Palestine” on Saturday, December 6th, raising concerns of anti-Christian vandalism.
A spokesperson for the Combat Antisemitism Movement highlighted the broader threat to religious symbols across Europe.

On Friday evening, December 5th, in Lindau, Bavaria, a 13-year-old Austrian boy was hurt in a serious attack by a group of four underage youths—comprising two Syrians and two Ukrainians.
Reportedly, the assailants used emergency hammers taken from a city bus. The boy fell to the ground and was further kicked by the attackers before police arrived.
Police were dispatched shortly before 10 p.m. to the ZUP bus station after receiving an emergency call. By the time the first patrol arrived, the suspects had fled. A manhunt was immediately launched, involving federal and border police. The injured boy was taken to a hospital, but authorities reported he did not sustain serious injuries.
About 300 meters from the scene, police found four minors hiding behind the criminal police station building. The group consisted of a pair of Syrian brothers and two Ukrainians, aged between 11 and 13. All four live in Vorarlberg, Austria. Legal guardians and the youth welfare office were informed, and investigations are ongoing.

The political advocacy arm of the Council on American-Islamic Relations is “operating entirely outside the regulatory framework Congress requires,” and its foreign-linked ties “warrant immediate federal scrutiny,” according to a nonpartisan watchdog.
A new report from the Network Contagion Research Institute, produced with the Intelligent Advocacy Network, alleges CAIR Action, a 501(c)(4), has built a nationwide political fundraising and voter-mobilization operation while failing to meet state and local registration requirements in the jurisdictions where it operates.
In its “bottom line up front,” the NCRI report claims CAIR Action raises money or conducts political activity in 22 states without the “licenses, registrations, or legal authority” required under state solicitation and reporting laws.

A new report from Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) highlights stark differences in crime rates between German and foreign suspects, with Syrians and Afghans showing particularly high figures. The federal report Crime in the Context of Migration for 2024 reveals that, across numerous types of offenses, Syrians and Afghans appear as suspects significantly more often than German citizens.
Among Germans, 163 suspects per 100,000 inhabitants are recorded. By contrast, Syrians account for 1,740 and Afghans for 1,722 per 100,000. A similar pattern emerges in sexual and drug-related offenses. Overall, non-German suspects now make up over 40% of all cases, while the proportion of foreign convicts has grown over the past decade and now exceeds one-third.
Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU) told Bild that the government plans to respond with tougher measures. Migrants who integrate, work, and obey the law may remain in Germany, but those who commit crimes or pose a threat risk losing this right. The ministry is preparing deportations to Afghanistan and Syria to remove offenders and potential threats from the country.
