Washington Post Won’t Say Why Trust In Vaccines Is Gone

7th January 2026

Read it.

The Washington Post recently published a detailed investigation showing that childhood vaccination rates across the United States are falling sharply, particularly for measles. Fewer counties now meet the 95 percent coverage level commonly associated with herd immunity, and millions of children attend schools in communities below that threshold.

On the basics, it’s true that routine childhood measles shots are among the most effective measures for keeping that particular infection at bay. But the Post’s analysis fails where it matters most: it cannot explain why trust has collapsed so broadly, so persistently, and so rationally for many ordinary people.

Instead, readers are offered a familiar diagnosis. Distrust of authorities. Political polarization. Misinformation. Backlash against mandates. All of this is curiously detached from responsibility. The article describes the consequences of distrust without confronting its causes.

Second Georgia State House Member Accused of Lying to Collect Pandemic Unemployment

7th January 2026

Associated Press, a Voice of the Crust.

Federal prosecutors filed charges Monday against Karen Bennett of Stone Mountain, accusing her of one count of making false statements to collect $13,940.

Bennett waived indictment, pleaded not guilty and was released on $10,000 bail after a Monday court appearance.

Lawyers for Bennett did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment Tuesday. In federal court, waiving indictment is often a prelude to a defendant pleading guilty.

Bennett, a Democrat, resigned from the House on Thursday. She was first elected in 2012, representing a district covering parts of DeKalb and Gwinnett counties.

She’s the second Democratic House member to be charged with lying to obtain federal unemployment assistance during the pandemic. Rep. Sharon Henderson, a Covington Democrat, was indicted in December on charges of theft of government funds and making false statements, accused of illegally collecting $17,811 in unemployment benefits. Henderson is free on bail and remains in office. Republican Gov. Brian Kemp has not yet appointed a review commission to determine whether Henderson should be suspended from office after the indictment.

Jason Mattera to Newsmax: Beloved Teacher Killed After Judge Releases Suspect

7th January 2026

Read it.

A beloved North Carolina science teacher and mother of two was killed in her Raleigh home after a judge released a mentally ill defendant despite prosecutors warning that he should not be free, authorities said.

Zoe Walsh, a longtime science teacher at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, North Carolina, was assaulted and killed early Jan. 3 after calling 911 to report a man breaking into her home, according to police, reports Newsmax’s Jason Mattera on “Wake Up America” on Tuesday.

“This was a senseless murder. [He] should have been in jail, should have never been let out of jail,” one family member said.

There seems to be something seriously wrong with our judges.

The Mamdani Symptom: How the Radical Left Is Making Its Stand in the Heart of American Capital

6th January 2026

Read it.

That the radical Left worldwide would celebrate the inauguration of communist Zohran Mamdani as mayor of New York City was entirely predictable. What is striking, however, is the ostentatious triumphalism displayed at a time when the Trump administration is systematically exposing illegal extraction mechanisms and financial flows step by step.

It is a moment of celebration for the radical Left in the United States. After the defeat in the 2024 presidential election, the inauguration of Zohran Kwame Mamdani—the first Muslim mayor of New York City—marked the resurgence of socialist forces within the Democratic Party.

Naturally, the ever-shrill Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was present, as was leftist know-it-all Bernie Sanders, who administered Mamdani’s oath on the Quran.

5th January 2026

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is rushing to block President Trump’s successful operation to arrest Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, labeling it “lawlessness” and a violation of congressional authority—despite Schumer himself and a string of Democrats and their media mouthpieces previously blasting Trump for failing to end the Maduro regime.

With Maduro now in custody and the U.S. overseeing a transition in Venezuela, Democrats have immediately cried foul, with Schumer appearing on ABC’s “This Week” to decry the move as unauthorized nation-building that will cost American lives and dollars.

Schumer declared, “The American people this morning are scratching their heads in wonderment and in fear of what the president has proposed,” adding, “We have learned through years when America tries to do regime change and nation building in this way, the American people pay the price in both blood and in dollars.”

National Trust blacklists volunteer who pointed out spelling mistakes

2nd January 2026

The Telegraph (UK).

The National Trust blacklisted a volunteer after he pointed out spelling mistakes on its website.

Andy Jones, 71, a volunteer at the trust for more than a decade, sent a dossier of thousands of misspellings and factual errors to the charity’s director-general in the hope that they would be corrected.

After sending a strongly worded complaint to his local branch, in which he criticised the trust’s director-general for not responding, he was told that his comments were “not in line with our organisational values” and was banned from volunteering at any of its sites.

No good deed goes unpunished.

Finland Detains Ship and Its Crew After Critical Undersea Cable Damaged

1st January 2026

CNN, a Voice of the Crust.

Finland has detained a ship and its crew after a critical undersea telecommunication cable connecting the country to Estonia was damaged Wednesday, Finnish authorities said.

Finnish police said in a statement that the vessel suspected of causing the damage was found with its anchor chain lowered into the sea in Finland’s waters, while the damage site itself was in Estonia’s waters. The police later named the vessel as the Fitburg, a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines flagged cargo ship.

The Finnish National Police Commissioner Ilkka Koskimäki said at a news conference on Wednesday afternoon that all 14 members of the ship’s crew have been detained, adding that the crew are citizens of Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

Incidents like this have become more frequent in recent years, raising suspicions they are the result of sabotage and prompting NATO to launch a project earlier this year specifically aimed at strengthening the protection of critical undersea infrastructure.

Meet the Sword-Wielding Man Hired to Kick Squatters Out of Empty Oakland Homes

31st December 2025

Read it.

Say a homeowner or bank or landlord discovers somebody occupying their property without authorization. They could call the police, though officers might not come. Police tend to shy away from tenancy disputes, leaving them to the civil courts. The property owner could go ahead and file an eviction lawsuit, but that can drag on for months.

Or they can call Jacobs.

For a fee, Jacobs will surveil the place and force out the people inside of it using a complex concoction of homespun arms and militarized tactics.

Jacobs’ team will often complete a job in a matter of days by boarding up the joint and moving in temporarily themselves, to make sure the squatters don’t return. But if they do, Jacobs is prepared for battle.

ASAP Squatter Removal is not alone. There’s a cottage industry in California that helps property owners force out squatters. There’s Squatter Squad, based in Southern California, and a handful of other companies, most established over the past couple of years.

In a properly-ordered society, the police would be doing this job. But—hey!—it’s California, so….

Librarians Are Tired of Being Accused of Hiding Secret Books That Were Made Up by AI

31st December 2025

Everyone knows that AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Grok, and Gemini can often hallucinate sources. But for the folks tasked with helping the public find books and journal articles, the fake AI bullshit is really taking its toll. Librarians sound absolutely exhausted by the requests for titles that don’t exist, according to a new post from Scientific American.

The magazine spoke with Sarah Falls, the chief of researcher engagement at the Library of Virginia, who estimates that about 15% of all emailed reference questions that they receive are generated by AI chatbots like ChatGPT. And the requests often include questions about fake citations.

What’s more, Falls suggests that people don’t seem to believe librarians when they explain that a given record doesn’t exist, a trend that’s been reported elsewhere like 404 Media. Many people really believe their stupid chatbot over a human who specializes in finding reliable information day in and day out.

Of course, they would say that….

How Postmodernism Killed Great Literature

31st December 2025

Read it.

Last week, I finished reading Ottessa Moshfegh’s bestselling 2018 novel My Year of Rest and Relaxation. While I usually do not read books from the “Millennial Sad Girl Navigates Modern Life” genre, I was compelled to see what all the fuss is about. Suffice it to say that I was not impressed. But I could not quite put my finger on the source of my disdain until, several days ago, it hit me: Moshfegh’s unnamed narrator walks away learning absolutely nothing.

The fault of this particular novel might be with Moshfegh’s nihilistic outlook on life, but the problem cuts even deeper. Today, the publishing industry as a whole turns its nose up to narratives that promote objective meaning.

There’s a lot to unpack in that claim, but it is no accident that the publishing industry shies away from books that illustrate “the good life” in the Aristotelian sense. Reared on the postmodern spirit that dominates colleges and universities, publishing professionals favor ambiguous, open-ended narratives to stories with clear redemption arcs. But, at its core, literature should not only teach us to think critically but also to live our best lives.

USPS Announces Changes to the Postmark Date System

30th December 2025

Read it.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has adopted a final rule (FR Doc. 2025-20740) adding Section 608.11, “Postmarks and Postal Possession,” to the Domestic Mail Manual (DMM). The rule formally defines postmarks and identifies the types of markings that qualify as such. Its primary purpose is to improve public understanding that while a postmark confirms the USPS possessed a mail piece on the date inscribed, that date does not necessarily align with the date the USPS first accepted possession of the item. The rule clarifies that the USPS does not postmark all mail in the ordinary course of operations and that the absence of a postmark does not imply the USPS did not accept custody.

In many ways, the USPS illustrates everything deleterious about how the U.S. government currently operates. This ought to be the first thing mentioned whenever anybody wants the government to do something (as VA health care is the immediate counter-example to any government-provided health care system).

French Police Unions Block Crackdown on Channel Crossings

Sir Keir Starmer’s plans to clamp down on migrants crossing the Channel appear to have stalled because French police refuse to intercept small boats.

Police unions are blocking an agreement to stop the dinghies, arguing that officers could be prosecuted if their interventions lead to the deaths of migrants.

After months of negotiations, President Macron agreed in July to allow French police to intervene to stop boats in shallow waters.

When Girls Rule and Boys Drool

28th December 2025

Read it.

Over the last few decades, a societal war on men has been waged. Masculinity is now toxic. Recently, young while males were locked out of much of the white-collar job market. Boys are in an educational crisis. Marriage and fatherhood are being devalued. Noticing these trends is discouraged, and opposition is disparaged.

The Relentless War on Masculinity: Does it Ever End? by David Maywald documents what is happening and why. He shows the legacy modern misandry has created, the tools fourth-wave feminism uses to maintain a gynocentric culture, the struggles men and boys face today, and what solutions exist.

Maywald opens the book by showing that in Western cultures — Anglosphere and Nordic societies especially — gynocentrism is real. He documents how courts, politics, education and job markets are stacked against men and favor women, often unfairly. He uses hard facts and statistics to buttress his arguments.

New Year Eve Events Cancelled as Terror Threats Force Major Cities to Reconsider Plans

28th December 2025

Daily Record (UK).

Several cities across the world are calling off their New Year’s Eve festivities due to credible threats of terrorist attacks. This follows the FBI’s thwarting of an alleged planned bombing attack in Los Angeles set for Hogmany.

The four suspects were nabbed earlier this month in the Mojave Desert, east of Los Angeles, while rehearsing their plot, according to First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli at a press conference. The Mirror reports officials presented surveillance aerial footage that captured the suspects moving a large black object onto a table in the desert.

They managed to arrest the suspects before they could assemble a functional explosive device, officials said. The criminal complaint identifies the four as Audrey Illeene Carroll, 30; Zachary Aaron Page, 32; Dante Gaffield, 24; and Tina Lai, 41.

Chinese Cargo Ship Converted Into Concealable Missile Destroyer

27th December 2025

Read it.

Concealing missile and rocket artillery launchers, as well as loitering munition swarms, within civilian-style transport platforms such as container ships and commercial trucks is a long-established and well-documented tactic in asymmetric warfare.

The latest example comes from a report published earlier this week by The War Zone, which documents a Chinese commercial cargo ship converted into a heavily armed vessel equipped with containerized weapons and high-tech sensors.

It appears we are getting at least one installment of this in the form of a medium-sized cargo ship packed full of containerized vertical launchers, along with sensors and self defense systems,” TWZ’s Tyler Rogoway wrote in a note, adding, “The message is clear, China is making it known that it could, and likely will, turn ships from its behemoth of a commercial fleet into not just shooters, but arsenal ships.”

The Chinese are obviously taking potential war with the U.S. very seriously. The U.S.—not so much….

NYC Phone Ban Reveals Some Students Can’t Read Clocks

26th December 2025

Gothamist.

Tiana Millen, an assistant principal at Cardozo High School in Queens, said this year’s ban on smartphones revealed that many teens struggle to read traditional clocks. “That’s a major skill that they’re not used to at all,” she said.

Overall, Millen said, the phone ban has been a major success at the school, and has helped kids focus in class and socialize at lunch. Foot traffic is moving more swiftly in hallways. Without eyes glued to their phones, more students are getting to class on time. The problem is they don’t know it, she said, “because they don’t know how to read the clocks.”

For years, parents and teachers have blamed technology for a range of lapsed skills — from legible handwriting to sustained attention to reading whole books — even as their proficiency with technology far outstrips their elders. Still, while educators have widely praised New York’s statewide smartphone ban that went into effect this fall, multiple teachers told Gothamist it has also laid bare an unexpected gap: How to tell time.

“The constant refrain is ‘Miss, what time is it?’ said Madi Mornhinweg, who teaches high school English in Manhattan. “It’s a source of frustration because everyone wants to know how many minutes are left in class. … It finally got to the point where we I started saying ‘Where’s the big hand and where’s the little hand?’”

The big hand is over your mouth and the little hand is in your pocket.

Here Are Some of the Wackiest Things Featured in Rand Paul’s New Report Alleging $1,639,135,969,608 in Gov’t Waste

24th December 2025

The Foundry.

Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul released the latest edition of his annual “Festivus” report Tuesday detailing over $1 trillion in alleged wasteful spending in the U.S. government throughout 2025.

The newly released report found an estimated $1,639,135,969,608 total in government waste over the past year. Paul, a prominent fiscal hawk who serves as the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, said in a statement that “no matter how much taxpayer money Washington burns through, politicians can’t help but demand more.”

“Fiscal responsibility may not be the most crowded road, but it’s one I’ve walked year after year — and this holiday season will be no different,” Paul continued. “So, before we get to the Feats of Strength, it’s time for my Airing of (Spending) Grievances.”

Doug Casey’s Top Prediction for 2026… What It Means for You and Your Money

24th December 2025

Read it.

’ve felt for years that the U.S. was heading toward something like a civil war. It could be as serious as the unpleasantness of the 1860s, just different. The red people and the blue people in the U.S. really dislike each other; they can’t even talk to each other. When things get to that stage, things are typically solved by force; I expect that’s what’s going to happen. Very likely during the next three years, while Trump is still in office. He’s the perfect catalyst.

It’s going to be exacerbated by the long-term migration trends. If we look 100 years down the road, it’s pretty clear that with modern travel and communications technologies, the migration of people from poor countries to rich countries all around the world will accelerate. Eventually, the U.S. won’t even exist in its present form. Of course, that’s true of every country. The colors of the map on the wall have been running since Day One.

I hope a catastrophic upset doesn’t happen in the near future for any number of reasons. For one, it won’t be any fun. For another, I’m a huge fan of traditional America. It was a unique institution in world history—the only country ever founded on the concepts of free thought, free markets, and individualism. A civil war—regardless of what form it takes—would likely overturn those things.

While I hope things mellow out, hope isn’t the best foundation for making plans.

The Second Vatican Council Reconsidered

23rd December 2025

Read it.

Did the Second Vatican Council betray Roman Christianity? Or did the Holy Spirit inspire the fathers of the council to dare a radical restart of the Church? Few ecclesiastical events of the twentieth century have generated as much controversy as the Second Vatican Council. More than sixty years after its conclusion, Vatican II still continues to divide Catholics, theologians, and observers of the fate of Western civilisation. For some, it represents a necessary aggiornamento, a courageous opening of the Church to modernity, which allowed Christianity to survive in a rapidly changing world and to flourish in parts of Africa and Asia even after the end of colonialism, when it seemed for a while all traces of Western traditional presence would be ejected. For others, it marks the beginning of a dramatic loss of substance, authority, and form, accelerating the collapse of religious practice and belief throughout Europe, the old core territories of the Catholic faith.

And it is precisely here, in the attitude towards history, that the fundamental and frankly astonishing error of Vatican II becomes apparent. For the council’s original sin was not a fundamental lack of faith but a profound lack of historical understanding, probably one of the last things one would have expected from an institution so steeped in history, tradition and continuity that its capacity of thinking and handling time not in years, but in generations, even centuries, had become proverbial. The Council of Trent, convened in response to the Reformation, took an impressive eighteen years to articulate a thoughtful and coherent answer, while all around, Europe seemed to fall apart and urgency was—or should have been—the utmost priority. And crucially, it did not respond to those challenges by imitating Protestantism but by clarifying, affirming, and sublimating precisely those aspects that had been attacked. The Roman rite was standardised rather than fragmented into national variants; sacred art was consciously cultivated as a dignified and splendid framework for the contemplation of God rather than replaced by iconoclastic austerity; doctrine was sharpened, not relativised; mission aimed at reconverting the lost sheep rather than affirming that everyone might be saved ‘in their own way’; the liturgy reached a fully composed symbolic richness instead of being reduced to a supposed essence; religious orders were renewed, not dissolved; the clergy was subjected to stricter discipline rather than emancipated from authority.

In 1965, the opposite occurred. After barely three years of discussion, the Church launched a general overhaul from which it has not recovered even sixty years after. That such a deeply un-Catholic haste could sweep through the universal Church, and that the conciliar fathers were willing not merely to permit but actively to encourage an unprecedented process of self-deconstruction, suggests an uncomfortable truth: the crisis did not originate with Vatican II. The worm was already in the apple, and the council was not the cause of the Church’s collapse but its symptom.

The Right to Be Cool

23rd December 2025

The Antiplanner.

As of April 1 of last year, New York City had more than one million apartments, but 47,720 were vacant. That’s up from about 27,000 in 2015 and 45,000 in 2023. A recent article in City Journal argues that landlords leave many of these apartments unrented because rent control, excessive government regulation, and the high cost of doing business in New York City makes it unprofitable to take in tenants.

Gee, whoda thunkit.

This is only going to get worse thanks to New York City Council member Lincoln Restler, who last week persuaded the rest of the council to pass an ordinance giving the city’s residents a right to be cool. That means that landlords will be required to install sufficient air conditioning to keep apartment temperatures at or below 78 degrees with 50 percent humidity in the summer months.

In hearings on the ordinance, experts testified that meeting the twin goals of 78 degrees and 50 percent humidity would be “prohibitively expensive.” Such targets are normally set only for “laboratory, medical, and other sensitive building programs” and the technology does not exist to retrofit residences to meet both targets. The council passed the ordinance anyway.

A common proglodyte delusion is that just passing a law somehow alters the nature of reality to make the impossible possible and the unaffordable affordable.

Time to leave.

The War on White, Working Class Boys

22nd December 2025

Read it.

I have a confession to make: I’m a misogynist. At least, I certainly hope I am in the eyes of those who pontificate on such things, and clearly have no idea what the word actually means. I know that women don’t have cocks; that they are distinct from men; and that they are unlikely to best men in almost any endeavour, unless the men are sufficiently hamstrung by the rules of engagement. By all means, let’s have the debate on that – but I warn you, I wrote the goto book on the subject, and I’m all out of chivalry and kid gloves just now.

I’m an inveterate misogynist when it comes to the Jess Phillips of this world – those who would criminalise misogyny, given half a chance. I have no objection to ‘hating’ women where appropriate either, criticising them when they are wrong (Zac Polanski, you’re a prick), explaining things on the rare occasions I actually know something (sorry, ‘mansplaining’), and generally treating them equally – as the feminists claim they desire.

The ‘plan’ to deal with people like me (not the rapists and murderers, obvs), is to tackle misogyny head-on in the playground. Concerned that toxic ideas are ‘going unchallenged’, our beneficent Labour ‘government’ has dragged itself away from Netflix repeats of Adolescence, and unveiled plans to send boys as young as 11 on ‘anti-misogyny’ courses if they exhibit ‘toxic’ or ‘harmful’ behaviours. What behaviours you ask? Sharing intimate images and showing violence towards siblings – so that’s basically every teenage boy you’ve ever met.

BMW Could Put the ‘Screws’ to Private Mechanics Working on Its Cars

German automakers have a decades-long reputation for forcing people to buy specialty tools. BMW has managed to take that specialty tool requirement and crank it up to a level we’ve never seen before. Either way, it’s a screw with a head that is the BMW roundel logo, and it can’t be removed with normal tools.

ndrew Clark, 43, had been celebrating his beloved Newcastle United winning the League Cup – calling it ‘the best day of his life’ – when he encountered Demiesh Williams while shopping at the supermarket in Beckenham, south London, in March.

The 30-year-old had jumped the queue in front of Andrew, who then challenged him for pushing in. Andrew’s partner of 23 years, Cairistine Clark, recalled that Williams reacted angrily to being challenged.

As reported by the Mirror, he vowed to staff and customers as he left the shop that he would ‘get him outside’. Woolwich Crown Court heard that as the family left the shop Williams had approached Andrew and slapped him with an open hand. Andrew had then fallen to the ground from the blow and hit his head, dying of his injuries in hospital three days later.

Williams, who worked as a bis driver, was sentenced to five years and three months in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter. After walking out of court before the judge finished speaking, Andrew’s family have slammed the sentence as ‘an absolute joke’.

Hundreds Attempt Channel Crossing in Fresh Boat Surge

21st December 2025

Read it.

Hundreds of migrants attempted to cross the English Channel on Sunday, December 21st, in a new surge of ‘small boat’ crossings. Smuggling gangs launched dinghies from several points along France’s coastline during a short pause in bad weather.

At least 550 people were believed to have embarked on the journey, with some boats already reaching UK waters. The crossings followed the arrival of 74 migrants in Dover late on Saturday night.

Security sources warned that women and children were among those put at risk in dangerous conditions. French authorities said a pregnant woman and a three-year-old child were taken to hospital in Calais after suffering hypothermia when their boat was turned back.

The latest crossings come after more than 750 people arrived over the weekend, taking the annual total above 40,000. The government has promised tougher measures to reduce small boat crossings and disrupt people-smuggling networks.

The End of ‘Welcome Culture’: Majority of Germans Want Immigration Moratorium, Mass Deportations

19th December 2025

Read it.

The numbers in a new YouGov poll should serve as the final nail in the coffin of Germany’s so-called “Welcome Culture,” promoted during the 2015 migration crisis, which was promoted by Angela Merkel, her CDU, and the left. A decade later, Germans feature the prevailing view that the negative consequences of both legal and illegal migration vastly outweigh the positive. The new from YouGov shows a majority of Germans want an immigration moratorium and mass deportations.

The polling results, which were obtained exclusively by Welt, show that Germans are — despite all the claims of “we have space” that were promoted by the left — immensely fed up with illegal immigration. The poll shows that 81 percent of Germans state that illegal immigration was “far too high” or “rather too high” over the last 10 years. Only 5 percent view the levels as appropriate.

Another 75 percent say illegal migration has been bad for Germany.

The Ukraine Border Myth: How a Manufactured Crisis Threatens America—and Your Wealth

19th December 2025

Read it.

Here we go again. The Donald recently offered a constructive 28-point plan that implicitly and correctly identified America’s Homeland Security interest in Ukraine as nichts, nada, nugatory and nyet. Yet before the ink was dry the Washington neocon brigade that he foolishly invited back into his government to sabotage it for the second time, did exactly that. This time they pulled the guts right out of the Trump Peace Plan for Ukraine, and did so in plain sight.

To wit, the only thing that really mattered in the original gussied-up word salad of 28-points was that—

  • Ukraine would be partitioned roughly along the lines of the pre-1918 Novorussiya province of the Russian Empire, meaning that mainly Russian-speaking Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk and the major parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia would be allowed to secede from the tyrannical, corruption-ridden, Nazi-tainted, anti-Russian Kiev regime.
  • the resulting rump of Ukraine would forswear now and forevermore any interest in joining NATO. That is, eschew any possibility of functioning as a Cuba on Moscow’s borders just like Khrushchev foolishly attempted with JFK way back in October 1962.

Neither of these so-called “concessions” to Putin would harm America’s true homeland security by a whit because Russia with a $2 trillion GDP based on oil, grains and metals is no threat whatsoever to America’s $30 trillion high-tech economy.

The Labour Strategy That Risks Demonising Young Boys for an Entire Generation

19th December 2025

The Telegraph (UK).

The Government has finally unveiled its long-overdue plan for tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG), which seeks to address misogyny and abuse by “disrupting dangerous attitudes and stopping harmful behaviours escalating”.

Getting rid of Muslim immigrants ought to be the first step.

Proposed measures include sending experts into schools to tutor children on “healthy and respectful relationships”, as part of an effort to integrate the strategy into every aspect of school life.

How Orwellian.

Announcing the plans on Thursday, safeguarding minister, Jess Phillips, warned of a “national emergency” over gender-based violence, adding the Government’s aim was to be “so ambitious that we change culture”.

However, key aspects of the document – which only sketches a broad outline of the Government’s plans – have been called into question by critics. In particular, they warn that the proposals risk demonising an entire generation of boys and young men as inherently problematic, or “toxic”.

Some have accused the Government of not sufficiently acknowledging the disproportionate numbers of misogynistic offences committed by migrants and non-British nationals, too.

Carl Benjamin has a good analysis here.

The £70m Farce That Exposes Rot at the Heart of the Royal Navy

19th December 2025

The Telegraph (UK).’

Britain spent £72m of taxpayers’ money refurbishing a Royal Navy warship before selling it to Brazil at a knockdown price.

Labour axed HMS Bulwark in November last year, in the middle of a major upgrade programme, alongside sister ship HMS Albion.

While the fate of Albion is unclear, Bulwark has been sold to Brazil, reportedly for about £20m in a fire sale, and is expected to head to the South American country next year.

Critics branded the deal “a spectacular failure” that would leave taxpayers “absolutely outraged”, and suggested it was a sign of more widespread failings in Britain’s military spending plans.

Sir Keir Starmer has pledged to increase defence spending from 2.3 per cent of GDP to 2.6 per cent by 2027 as part of a race to rearm ahead of possible conflict with Russia.

Looser pledges have also been made to hit 3 per cent in the early 2030s and 3.5 per cent by 2035.

A new study highlights the outsized role of foreigners in serious crimes in Spain, which has seen worrying growth in rapes, attempted murders, and other serious crimes in just the last five to six years. The CEU-CEFAS Demographic Observatory report, titled “Demography of Crime in Spain,” examines the evolution of crime across various demographic groups and geographical areas in the country, and the researchers are warning about “imported crime” due to mass immigration.

67% of Canadians Say Cost of Living In Their Region Is Worst They’ve Seen

18th December 2025

Read it.

Nearly seven in every 10 Canadians are identifying the cost of living in their area as a major issue, according to a newly released survey.

An Abacus Data poll found that 67 percent of the 1,500 people surveyed earlier this month said the cost of living in their area is the worst they can ever remember it being. Another 21 percent say the cost of living is bad where they live, although they can recall periods when it was even more challenging.

Only 11 percent say the cost of living is not bad, the survey said.

Vote for socialists, that’s what you get. Time to leave.

Maduro’s Narco-Terrorism Plot Against America Unraveled by Defectors

18th December 2025

Read it.

One by one, they are singing, the men who used to do dirty deeds for the late Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chávez and his successor, Nicolas Maduro. Nobody knows what’s going to happen, whether the United States will attack, and whether Maduro will fall. But these Venezuelans sniff change in the air. As more countries exit Venezuela’s orbit, more allegations are likely to emerge.

Two of the men are in prison here in the U.S.: Hugo “El Pollo” Carvajal, the former spy mastermind, and Cliver Alcala Cordones, a former general, both of whom have written letters to President Donald Trump airing bales of dirty laundry regarding narcotrafficking to the U.S. A third is a top official who has defected and is cooperating with the U.S. government, to whom I spoke a couple of months ago.

Over in Bolivia, where change has already begun, information regarding that government’s involvement with narco-terrorism may soon see the light of day as well. The new president, Rodrigo Paz Pereira, elected earlier this year and sworn into office last month, had his predecessor, Luis Arce, arrested on Wednesday. Many members of Arce’s government may follow him into the clink, and they may soon start “cooperating” by airing dirty laundry as well.

More Gun Control Is Not What Australia Needs

18th December 2025

The Foundry.

A father and son duo opened fire on a crowd of mostly Jewish victims on Dec. 14. They were at a large Hanukkah celebration on Bondi Beach in Australia; 15 people were killed and dozens more were wounded in an antisemitic terrorist attack.

Using a legally owned bolt-action shotgun and bolt-action rifle, the gunmen fired more than 80 rounds during a roughly 11-minute reign of terror before police fatally shot the father and critically injured the son.

This horrific attack should be a wake-up call for the Australian government, especially after failing to heed years of warnings about the well-documented rise of antisemitism in the country.

Instead, it has taken it as a green light for a grotesque social experiment in national disarmament. It’s precisely the wrong lesson for Australia to learn—or, in this case, to relearn.

Like Europe, Australia doesn’t need more gun contol, they need more Muslim control.

South African Police Raid US Refugee Site

17th December 2025

Read it.

South African police have raided a U.S. refugee processing center in the country, briefly detaining U.S. staff who have been handling applications from white Afrikaner refugees.

The Hill reported that the raid is expected to heighten tensions between the two nations, as the Trump administration has repeatedly raised concerns about the treatment of South Africa’s white minority.

The State Department confirmed that the office had been searched. The South African Embassy in Washington did not immediately comment.

The South African ruling class realize that their country will fall apart—as Zimbabwe did—without white people to do the work.

Berlin: Five Moldovans Arrested for Violent Assault on 52-Year-Old

17th December 2025

Read it.

Berlin police are investigating a serious violent assault after five men attacked a 52-year-old German citizen near the Lichtenberg S-Bahn station in the early hours of Sunday morning. According to police, the incident began shortly after 1:40 a.m. following a verbal dispute between two groups at a snack stand.

During the altercation, one member of the five-man group allegedly struck a 43-year-old. When a 52-year-old companion intervened, the attackers reportedly turned on him. Police said the group repeatedly punched and kicked the victim, continuing the assault even after he fell to the ground. Witness accounts indicate the attackers stomped on his head and upper body while he was lying defenseless.

The victim sustained serious injuries, briefly lost consciousness, and was transported to hospital for treatment. The suspects initially fled the scene but were arrested a short time later in a nearby bar after police reviewed surveillance footage.

When Frankenstein Governments Rule Europe

17th December 2025

Read it.

Europe is suffering from a lack of governance. There are governments, and they govern, but they do not exercise governance. They are administrators, not political and legislative leaders.

The continent is facing serious long-term problems—and I am not even going to mention the Ukraine war—that cannot be addressed properly unless the art of governance is restored. For that to happen, Europe needs governments that are ideologically homogenous enough and parliamentarily strong enough to lead their nations.

That is not the case today. Before we go on a depressing Tour de Malaise through Europe’s capitals, let me point to the complex policy problem that has caused the decline from governance to mere government administration.

Will Europe Ever Recover?

17th December 2025

The American Mind.

he Trump Administration’s 2025 National Security Strategy (NSS) provides a rare official statement on the main threats facing the United States, as well as lays out strategies to address them. Typically released once per presidential term, this administration’s NSS focuses on how the U.S. can reestablish its military and economic might in a world that’s clearly moved well beyond the post-Cold War era. As stated in its introduction, the document aims to be a “roadmap to ensure that America remains the greatest and most successful nation in human history, and the home of freedom on earth.”

Part of advocating a foreign policy of “principled realism” is pointing out how Europe, an important U.S. partner going back centuries, has been actively rejecting its historic ways of life.

The Trump NSS details several serious challenges the continent faces, including economic stagnation. However, that issue is overshadowed by the impact of mass immigration, which is transforming Europe by “creating strife, censorship of free speech and suppression of political opposition, cratering birthrates, and loss of national identities and self-confidence.” The NSS forecasts that if current trends persist, Europe may become unrecognizable within two decades, as it is at risk of “civilizational erasure.”

1 Dead After U-Haul Explodes in Idaho

One person is dead after a U-Haul exploded in a parking lot in Lewiston, Idaho, according to local reports.

The explosion, which happened early Saturday morning, shook buildings and sent debris flying.

Lewiston Fire Marshal Julian Sorrell told the Idaho News there was “no indication the incident is criminal in nature.”

A photo of the scene posted on X showed remnants of the U-Haul and debris surrounding it.

Lewiston is home to less than 35,000 people.

“We’re looking at all avenues, as far as what may have caused this,” said Lewiston Police Captain Chris Reese, “but at this point in time we don’t have any information that would lead us to believe this was any type of criminal or intentional (incident).”

Two Killed, Other Victims Critical After Shooting at Brown University

14th December 2025

The Telegraph (UK).

Two people were killed and 10 others were wounded during a mass shooting at Brown University in Rhode Island.

The shooter is still at large and the injured people are in a critical condition in hospital according to Brett Smiley, the Providence mayor.

The Ivy League university issued an active shooter alert and urged students and staff to take shelter on Saturday evening after a gunman fired multiple gunshots, police said.

Footage of the scene shows a large police presence with armed officers and ambulances arriving at the Rhode Island university.

The university confirmed multiple victims had been transported to local hospitals but did not have information about their condition.

An Illegal Alien Killed His Daughter in a Sanctuary State

13th December 2025

The Foundry.

It has been almost one year since Joe Abraham learned an illegal alien was responsible for his daughter’s tragic death. The father says he is still waiting to hear from Illinois Democrat Gov. JB Pritzker.

“President [Donald] Trump shook my hand, looked me in the eye, said ‘It’s a mess, and we’re going to clean it up,’” the father said, referring to America’s border and immigration policies. “I’m still waiting for anything from Governor Pritzker,” Abraham added.

On Jan. 19, firemen arrived at the scene of the car crash in Illinois and “pried open like a tuna can” the Honda Civic Katie Abraham was riding in and pulled the 20-year-old’s dead body from the car.
