Homophobe!” — is intended to inspire hatred of Republicans by depicting the GOP as bigoted, but what is the psychological effect of this propaganda on young Democrats who happen also to be both white and male? Well, the white male Democrat is not only inspired to hate himself, but also he realizes that he can never hope to represent his party, because his party does not represent him.

Just as socialists always claim that socialism’s failures were because it wasn’t socialist enough, Democrats are claiming that they lost this election because they weren’t Democrat enough. (In other words, ’round up the usual suspects’.)

What Democrats should realize, because everyone else does, is that voters rejected both their policies (which have undermined middle- and low-income families) and their governance (which has fueled rage at a power-hungry federal government). Hillary Clinton proposed more of the same. Coal workers said no. Blue-collar union workers said no. Suburban moms said no. Small businessmen, drowning under Dodd-Frank and ObamaCare, said no.

Instead Democrats think last week was an accident. Mrs. Clinton tells donors that she only lost because of FBI Director Jim Comey.Barack Obama faults Hillary’s tactics—she didn’t spend enough time in the right states. Michael Dukakis says Democrats only lost because of the Electoral College. Rachel Maddow blames third-party candidates.

All this denial has cleared the field for Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the leading voice now calling on the party to recognize it has erred and needs change. She is telling the masses, however, that Democrats lost because they didn’t go big enough. They didn’t spend enough. Didn’t regulate enough. Didn’t socialize health care enough. Her prescription: Double down.

The DNC sent John Hinderaker a begging letter. Big mistake.

The Democrats write: “Before Donald Trump even takes the oath of office, his administration-in-waiting is already looking for a way to relive one of the darkest moments in the history of our country”–i.e., internment. That is a flat-out lie. No one in the Trump camp has proposed, or even hinted at, internment of anybody, and any such suggestion would be ridiculous on its face. The concept of interning Muslims is a fantasy dreamed up by the Democratic National Committee to raise money from suckers.

How can the murder capital of the country be a ‘sanctuary city’?

Sanctuary cities are like the Land of Oz:  a magical but terrifying world where reality has been stood on its head and the realm is ruled by weak leaders who hide behind grand words and imposing facades. Did I just describe Chicago and its delusional mayor, Rahm Emanuel?  Get this vigorous quotation from the freedom-loving civic leader:  “To all those who are, after Tuesday’s election, very nervous and filled with anxiety as we’ve spoken to, you are safe in Chicago, you are secure in Chicago and you are supported in Chicago.  Chicago will always be a sanctuary city.”

Yes, about as safe as a hen in a fox house.  Seriously, nobody is that safe and secure in Chicago because Chicago is the murder capital of North America and carries that distinction like a murderer caught in the act with a gun in hand.  With an annual homicide rate above New York and Los Angeles, Chicago has become a little bit of hell on earth with competing gangs, drug wars, and the general ascendancy of the lowlifes.  Contemporary life – and death – in Chicago has far outweighed all of the worst stereotypes of the Prohibition era when Al Capone ruled this town.  Does Mayor Emanuel really think the illegal immigrants are “nervous and filled with anxiety?”  What universe is this completely unfeeling, utterly detached municipal politician living in?  It’s the legal citizens of Chicago who are more than just nervous and filled with anxiety; they are scared as hell of being caught in the crossfire of a gang gunfight.

In the latest incident of anti-weapon hysteria to erupt in a school setting, officials at a middle school in South Florida have suspended an 11-year-old girl for six days because she brought a child-proof, toddler-size cutlery knife to school and used it to cut a peach in half for a friend.

School officials say they suspended the girl for six days — and notified police — because she violated a countywide weapons policy when she used the toddler knife to cut a peach in half for her friend.

“The school followed district policy regarding this incident and continues to work with the student and parents involved,” a Broward County school district spokeswoman said in a statement obtained by WPLG. “It is the district’s priority to maintain safe and secure campuses for students and staff at all times.”

This is the sort of absurdity that forms the undercurrent of Orwell’s 1984 — the creation of a system in which individual rationality is inadequate to determine what course of action might avoid punishment, all tending toward a mindless lethargy punctuated by occasional anxious obedience to authority. It will be no surprise to anyone I’m unhappy with the result of this election. Donald Trump was manifestly the worst presidential candidate in living memory, an ignorant, sex-assaulting vindictive bigot, enamored of strongmen and contemptuous of the law, consorting with white nationalists and hucksters — and now he’s president-elect, which is appalling and very sad for the nation. I don’t see much good coming out of this, either in the immediate or long-term, not in the least because if he does any of the things he promises to do, his impact will be ruinous to the nation. Add to the fact that he’s the GOP candidate, and the GOP now will have the White House, Congress and will appoint the next Supreme Court justice, and, well. There aren’t any grownups in the GOP anymore, and we’re going to find out what that means for all of us.

Now, anybody who thinks that Donald Trump is a worse Presidential candidate than Hillary Clinton has obviously some major blind spots. And anyone who thinks that ‘there aren’t any grownups in the GOP anymore’ needs to take a good hard look at the Democrats (who seem to have a lock on the You Can’t Make This Shit Up category) when it comes to lack of grownups.

John’s problem is the same problem that pretty much everybody in the Crust has right now — an inability to see that this result is entirely a self-inflicted wound. The Democrats have spent the last forty-plus years balkanizing the American electorate into ever-smaller and more precisely delineated Victim Groups whose votes they can then buy with government benefits in order to cling to power. Their fetish for ‘diversity’ and ‘inclusion’ has turned around and bitten them in the ass when it comes to the biggest victim group of them all: white people, males, heterosexuals, and people who were born here and speak understandable English.

When a white person is told, as you can see from all over the ‘news’ media, that merely being white makes him a racist, what incentive does he (or she) have not to be a racist? There is no way to escape being tagged as a racist, so there is no downside from actually being a racist, and there may be an upside. The ancient proverb ‘might as well be hanged for a sheep as for a lamb’ applies — if you’re going to do the time, why not commit the crime? The same thing applies to sexism, ‘homophobia’, xenophobia, or whatever the bigot-of-the-day term is — if that is the only road that is left for people to go down, then that’s the road that they’re going to go down, and the results will get very ugly very quickly.

When Bill Clinton gets elected President, the message is that being a congenital liar and a sexual predator is no disqualification from being President. When Barack Obama is elected President, the message is that being a racist and inexperienced is no disqualification from being President. When Hillary Clinton gets the Democrat nomination and is praised from hither to yon as being The Most Qualified Women Ever, then the message is that being a crook and incompetent is no disqualification from being President.

The reason Trump is President is because the Democrat Party of Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton have lowered the bar so much that even a three-legged goat like Donald Trump can get over it. And they have nowhere to point the finger except back at themselves.

The man attacked by a group of black people spoke out on his assault, describing  it as a traffic accident that quickly escalated in a brutal attack.

The boss of Grubhub – an online food delivery service – has said his comments to employees denouncing Donald Trump’s victory have been misconstrued.

Oh, I don’t know — it seemed pretty clear to me.

Matt Maloney, co-founder of the company, wrote to staff after the election of the 70-year-old tycoon in which he said said he rejected the “nationalist, anti-immigrant and hateful politics of Donald Trump and will work to shield our community from this movement as best as I can”.

“If you do not agree with this statement then please reply to this email with your resignation because you have no place here,” he added. “We do not tolerate hateful attitudes on our team.”

Hard to ‘misconstrue’ that.

“I did not ask anyone to resign if they voted for Trump,” he said in a blog post late on Thursday.

“To the contrary, the message of the email is that we do not tolerate discriminatory activity or hateful commentary in the workplace, and that we will stand up for our employees.”

And explicitly, explicitly connected ‘discriminatory activity or hateful commentary’ to Donald Trump. That’s a straight-up reading of what he said.

This week American universities, now among the most expensive yet worthless institutions on the planet, have held mass “cry-ins” to protest Tuesday’s election. At the University of Michigan, sufferers from PTSD (Post-Trumptastic Stress Disorder) were consoled with Play-Doh and coloring books. Can you imagine any of the teenagers who stormed the beaches of Normandy – boys who were men, and often five, six, seven years younger than today’s elderly “students” – agreeing to participate in anything so ostentatiously self-indulgent as a “cry-in” followed by free Play-Doh?

What comes after the cry-ins? Monisha Rajesh, a journalist with The Guardian and my old newspaper The Sunday Telegraph, is hot for a “presidential assasination”. In 2008, the left were luridly fantasizing about what I called Obama assassination porn – how the bigoted right would surely not wait long to kill the first black president. Eight years later, the same people actively urge the assassination of his successor. They are what they imagine their opponents to be.

They are afraid for three reasons.

First, these are people educated with modern education, so they are gullible and unable to reach any logical conclusions from any facts no matter how obvious. They listen to the dishonest news, and the news lies to them, and tells them the world has ended.

Second, the guilty flee when none pursue.

Imagine you have been, for your whole life, advocating and advancing and proposing a system, called socialism, that robs and kill white males and Christians, takes the fruit of their labor and give it you and your mascots; and that you have never spent two days in a row without blaspheming God, denigrating your nation, your forefathers, and everyone to whom you owe loyalty and gratitude.

A life without loyalty and gratitude is a hard life and a dreary one, filled with a grumpy selfishness that often erupts into despair and screaming hatred against the persons on whom you depend for your very survival. The parasite hates the host because he is helpless without the host, and knows it.

The magnanimity and chivalry with which the host tolerates his impositions are alien to your thought processes: they seem to be stupidity or madness to you, or, actually, like a magic spell. From your point of view, you are clinging to a gossamer rope over an abyss, held in the hand of someone taller, stronger, and better than you who supports your weight. You do not know why he does it. It is occult to you. Magic.

But you have found, for the last fifty to one hundred years of history, that if you curse him, and call him a racist, misogynist, Muslem-hating homophobe, this acts like a command word, and he will do as you say.

In order to justify robbing and killing, you have been saying the white male Christians are wicked, unstable, stupid, and malignant as man-eating apes. Now, for the first time, the apes have not reacted when you shouted out a command word: you called them racists and they ignored you.

The apes outnumber you. They know you hate them. They know you stole from them and expected to steal from them tomorrow.

Who would not be afraid?

Also, they turn to Caesar for comfort, not God, and Caesar is now their enemy. Without God, they have no courage. They are cowards.

The third and final reason for the fear is to justify the rioting and violence the Left loves with an erotic, sadistic passion.

The University of Michigan (UM) was emblematic of the chaos on many university campuses Wednesday, as a person (or people) irate over the presidential election spray-painted “Kill ‘Em All” and “Fuck America” onto a large public rock on campus.

The new paint job on The Rock, as it is fittingly called, was publicized on Twitter around 3 p.m. CST. The paint showed a donkey and elephant, representing the Democratic and Republican parties, along with the blunt phrases “Kill ‘Em All” and “Fuck America.”

Colleges nationwide scrambled to help students process Republican Donald Trump’s stunning election victory. They’re acknowledging that many students were up late watching results and so may not be at their sharpest in early-morning lectures. More so, they’re responding to a widespread sense of shock and despair on campuses to the victory of a candidate who offended Mexicans, Gold Star mothers, Muslims and the disabled during the course of the campaign.

Colbert’s low-rated CBS show was preempted last night by the Trump Train, so for some reason he did his show, live, on Showtime. I guess so he could cuss on live TV? I dunno. But Showtime has put up a 10-minute clip from the end of the broadcast, when it was becoming clear to Colbert that Trump was winning.

I’ve never watched Colbert, just as I’ve never watched Maher, for the simple reason that everything I’ve ever heard about him (including occasional video clips I tripped over here and there) struck me as appealing to the sort of humor that, were it aimed at something on his side of the fence, he would denounce as ‘hate speech’.

One of the chief tragedies about the Left is their asymmetrical sense of entitlement: They are free to treat people who disagree with them with the studied contempt that they are the first to complain about if they suspect it’s directed at them (and they’ll make it up if they have to).

When a party loses a presidential election, especially one as eminently winnable as this, the primary blame has to go to the candidate. Hillary Clinton was a deeply flawed, uncharismatic, scandal-plagued candidate who ran a lackluster, uninspiring campaign where her main strategy was simply to run out the clock. After this, Democrats are going to have to retire “Dukakis” as their byword for electoral failure and replace it with “Hillary.”

But what most people haven’t realized yet is the extent to which this election loss is also the legacy of President Obama, on five different levels.

There has been a lot of discussion about how Trump is the New Kid On The Block and doesn’t know shit about the political life, but what is being lost sight of here is that Obama isn’t very far off of that mark himself. He’s never held a real job, he’s spent his life being a professional Affirmative Action Hire with a veneer of charm that has carried him far beyond anything that he deserved. ‘Community organizer’ to slacker state legislator to slacker Senator to slacker President — only in the last position has he had actually to perform, and were it not for the vested interest of the Crust in his Clever Plastic Disguise he’d have long since been revealed as the nobody he is in his essence. If Obama hadn’t had one black parent, he’d have gone nowhere.
