New Jersey Teachers Union Backing Mikie Sherrill Plans Drag Queen Event Days After Election

27th October 2025

Read it.

New Jersey’s largest teachers union, which has endorsed Democrat governor candidate Mikie Sherrill, will host a drag queen event days after the November election.

The New Jersey Education Association, which has 200,000 members as the Garden State’s chapter of the National Education Association, will host its annual convention on Nov. 6 and 7, two days after the gubernatorial election. At the convention, the NJEA Consortium—a union project undertaken with education and “social justice” organizations—will host a Friday event called “Drag is Not a Crime: The Past, Present, and Future of Drag.”

The convention’s floor plan also includes a booth dedicated to the drag theme. The NJEA convention theme puts “learning” third—after “equity” and “justice.”

California and Chicago Move Toward Taxation Armageddon

27th October 2025

Read it.

Various blue states are facing towering budget deficits as federal pandemic payments end and expenditures rise.

The result is a widening gap between the two parties on tax policies as Democratic leaders seek to avoid massive budget cuts in favor of tax increases. Two of the most economically moronic measures can be found in California and Illinois where leaders could be pushing high-tax residents out of their respective states.

In California, Gov. Gavin Newsom is seeking a billionaire tax that would target roughly 180 individuals who are expected to remain in the state, like some voluntary canned hunt. In Chicago, Mayor Brandon Johnson is facing the same exodus of businesses as California. His solution? A head tax on the very large corporations is needed for the city to survive. Even the far-left governor, J.B. Pritzker, is opposing the move as economically suicidal. However, groups like the teachers’ unions are pushing for this and other new taxes to support, among other things, a bloated pension plan for its members.

Spend spend spend — it’s all Democrats know how to do. And they can’t quit spending, so they have to raise taxes. And “the rich” don’t have enough money to cover the spending (and, besides, they depend on rich leftists for campaign contributions), so they have to tax everybody else to make up the differerence.

Duffy to Pull $160M From Calif. Over Noncitizen Licenses

27th October 2025

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned Sunday that he’s about make good on a threat to revoke millions in federal funds for California because he says the state is illegally issuing commercial driver’s licenses to noncitizens.

In an appearance on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Duffy said California Gov. Gavin Newsom has refused to comply with Department of Transportation rules that require the state to stop issuing such licenses and review those already issued.

“So, one, I’m about to pull $160 million from California,” Duffy said. “And, as we pull more money, we also have the option of pulling California’s ability to issue commercial driver’s licenses.”

The Green Mirage: The Hidden Costs Behind the Electric Car Hype

25th October 2025

Read it.

In Sweden, a two-kilometer stretch of electrified highway allows electric vehicles to charge while they drive — a prototype for 3,000 kilometers of such roads planned by 2045.

It all sounds sleek, modern, and progressive, like something from a futurist’s dream.

Eddie Grant once sang, “We’re gonna rock down to Electric Avenue.”

But before we charge headlong into this electric future, we should pause to ask: is any of this really helping the environment?

The answer, inconveniently, is no.

Electric vehicles are not the sustainable miracle they’re marketed to be — this article details the hidden environmental toll of battery production, the inefficiency of “green” energy systems, and the deeper agenda behind the global push toward EVs and UN-driven sustainability mandates.

The prevailing narrative of “zero-emission” transportation falls apart with documented evidence, industry data, and science itself.

The green movement’s corporate and political drivers open up broader questions of personal freedom, economic control, and truth in environmental science.

Joy Behar Whines School Girl ‘Snitched’ on Anti-Vietnam Ranting to Students

24th October 2025

Newsbusters.

On Tuesday’s edition of ABC’s Behind the Table podcast (The View’s podcast), Joy Behar recounted to host Brian Teta about her liberal activism during the Vietnam War. Inspired by last weekend’s so-called “No Kings” protests, Behar hyped how she used to rant to her students back when she was a teacher and encouraged them to draft dodge. She also whined about one girl who “snitched” and got her fired.

Behar kicked off the show by decrying how Republicans were dismissing the protests as “a big nothing,” according to her. To counter that, she tried to suggest five to 10 times the number of estimated attendees actually supported the protests.

Is every Democrat a self-righteous asshole, or do we just see the worst of them in the news?

Watch: Oligarch-Battling Bernie Sanders Thinks It’s Perfectly Normal to Own Three Homes

24th October 2025

Read it.

Oligarchy fighter and working class man of the people Bernie Sanders sees nothing out of the ordinary in owning three large properties.

When recently questioned about his three houses, the ‘No Kings’ figurehead passed it off as if most Americans own multiple properties and he’s just like everyone else.

“Do I own three residences? Yes I do,” declared Sanders.

He then explained that he has “a beautiful home in Burlington,” a place in Washington, and “like many thousands of people in the State of Vermont” he has a “Summer camp on Lake Champlain.”

“It’s a nice one,” he enthused.

“That’s it!” Sanders declared.

EU Top Court Argues for More Benefits for Deported Immigrant

23rd October 2025

Read it.

The European Court of Justice’s Advocate General has once again put the rights of deported asylum seekers above the needs of ordinary Europeans. In an opinion issued Thursday, Advocate General Richard de la Tour declared that an asylum seeker who cannot be transferred to another EU country within the set deadline must continue receiving full asylum benefits, including money for clothing, household goods, transport—and even a cell phone.

The case revolves around an Afghan national who first applied for asylum in Romania in 2021 before entering Germany. Under the Dublin Agreement, Romania—as the first country of entry—is responsible for his application. Romania had agreed to take him back but suspended the transfer due to the war in Ukraine. In the meantime, German authorities in the Bavarian district of Schweinfurt reduced the man’s benefits, limiting them to essentials such as food, accommodation, and medical care.

Rather than supporting this reasonable restriction, the Advocate General sided with the Afghan claimant. He argued that the 2013 EU Reception Conditions Directive “prohibits a Member State from denying an applicant benefits to cover his or her needs for clothing and household goods.” He went further, calling Germany’s national legislation “problematic” for allowing the automatic withdrawal of benefits without a detailed assessment of the personal consequences for the applicant.

Cuba’s Growing Private Sector Exposes the Failure of Socialism

23rd October 2025

The Foundry.

After 65 years of socialist control, Cuba’s private sector has become the island’s most unexpected victory for freedom.

For decades, the Castro regime tried to convince the world—and its own people—that socialism was efficient, equal, and sustainable. But today, the model is collapsing under its own weight. Food shortages, blackouts, and mass emigration have exposed the truth: Socialism doesn’t work. What does work—and quietly transforms Cuba from within—is the entrepreneurial spirit of ordinary citizens who have stopped waiting on the state.

Many outside observers still don’t realize Cuba even has a private sector. The regime downplays it, terrified of what it represents: economic independence, self-reliance, and dignity. Yet since 2021, more than 10,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (MIPYMES) have been officially registered, according to the Cuba Study Group. These are not “oligarchs” or “elites.” They are everyday Cubans who have decided to hacer de tripas corazones—to turn scarcity into strength and survival into freedom.

Minneapolis Public Schools Facing Discrimination Complaint

A civil rights complaint has been filed against Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) after reports that several high schools offered courses restricted by race and sex.

Minnesota outlet Alpha News reported that the complaint concerns courses titled “BLACK Culture – Building Lives Acquiring Cultural Knowledge.” The Washington Free Beacon first noted that South High School’s curriculum guide listed one section of the class as open to “all black male students” and another to “all black female students.”

“The course is open to black male students of any grade,” one course description reads. Roosevelt High School reportedly offers a similar course titled “High School Black Culture Queens.”

As Chief Justice Roberts famously said (in Parents Involved in Community Schools v. Seattle School District No. 1), “The way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race” .

ICE Agent Wounds Deputy U.S. Marshal and TikTok Streamer, Who Is Charged With Assault

23rd October 2025

L.A. Times, a Voice of the Crust.

The incident unfolded around 9 a.m. in a dense immigrant community where, according to Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, federal agents were carrying out “a targeted enforcement traffic stop” of an undocumented immigrant who “previously escaped from custody” and “attempted to evade arrest yet again.”

The suspect, Carlitos Ricardo Parias, was charged Tuesday night with assault on a federal officer, according to acting U.S. Atty. Bill Essayli. During the stop, the 44-year-old undocumented immigrant from Mexico “rammed his car into agents’ vehicles after they boxed him in and ordered him to submit to arrest,” Essayli said on X.

McLaughlin said ICE agents “fearing for the safety of the public and law enforcement … followed their training and fired defensive shots.”

Witnesses said the suspect was struck, and another bullet appeared to ricochet and wound a deputy marshal.

cLaughlin later confirmed that a law enforcement officer at the scene was hit in the hand by a ricochet and that the target of the operation was wounded.

Immigration Agents on NYC’s Canal Street Confronted by Protesters

22nd October 2025

Read it.

An immigration enforcement sweep targeting vendors on New York City’s famed Canal Street turned chaotic Tuesday afternoon, as bystanders and protesters confronted federal agents and tried to block their path.

Thus ‘obstructing justice’, which is a crime in every jurisdiction of which I am aware.

The confrontation between the agents and hundreds of angry New Yorkers took place along a busy commercial thoroughfare that has long been a hub of the city’s not-so-underground market for knock-off designer handbags, watches, perfumes, and sunglasses, as well as phones and other electronics.

So, it’s a hotbed of criminality.

An Associated Press reporter observed dozens of federal agents as they made one of a number of arrests in the area, detaining a street vendor who appeared to be selling bedazzled smartphone cases.

The reporter, a Tool of the Crust, no doubt attempted to portray the arrested street vendor as somebody just going about his normal life and suddenly being hassled FOR NO LEGITIMATE REASON by agents of ‘Trump’s totalitarian state’. That’s their Narrative, and they’re sticking to it.

Federal Judge Blocks Push to Remove Gender Ideology From Sex Ed Curricula

22nd October 2025

A federal judge in Oregon said during a hearing on Monday that she plans to issue an injunction stopping the Trump administration from requiring several Democratic-led states to remove references to gender ideology from their sexual health education curricula as a condition of receiving federal grant funding.

U.S. District Judge Ann Aiken, based in Eugene, made the comments in reference to a lawsuit filed by 16 states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington, and Wisconsin, as well as the District of Columbia. The states of Oregon, Washington, and Minnesota are leading the group.

MANUFACTURING ‘HATE’: Conservatives Pressure Companies to Drop Ties With SPLC After Charlie Kirk Assassinatio

19th October 2025

The Foundry.

Conservative shareholders at eight major corporations have filed resolutions urging those companies to stop using politicized tools like the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “hate map,” which added Turning Point USA a few months before the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

The Heritage Foundation and portfolio manager David Bahnsen, which have held thousands of dollars in shares at each of the companies, filed the proposals last week.

“The Southern Poverty Law Center has designated October as Hate Crimes Awareness Month—but few organizations have sown more hatred against fellow Americans than the SPLC itself,” Heritage Chief Advancement Officer Andrew Olivastro told The Daily Signal in a statement Friday. “It doesn’t fight hate—it manufactures it, embedding division into every press release they issue and every word they post; their business model is defamation, and America is finally waking up.”

“Companies are now rightly distancing themselves from the SPLC, recognizing that its model is not only flawed but dangerous,” Olivastro added.

UN Body Votes to Postpone Decision on Global Carbon Tax Amid US ‘Outrage’

Because they know that it will go nowhere without U.S. participation. “Follow the money!”

The United Nations body specializing in regulating global shipping voted on Oct. 17 to delay a vote on the adoption of a proposed framework that will impose a global carbon tax on international shipping—a regulation the United States has strongly opposed.

Member states of the U.N.-backed International Maritime Organization (IMO) were set to approve the proposal on Oct. 17 when Saudi Arabia, which has voiced opposition to the plan, tabled a motion to defer the vote by one year.

The motion was passed with 57 votes in favor and 49 against.

The proposed net-zero framework would have required ships to comply with a global fuel standard for large oceangoing vessels of more than 5,000 gross tonnage, as part of an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the global shipping industry to net zero by 2050.

“Coup d’Flat”: Billionaire-Funded ‘No Kings’ Color-Revolution Turns Into White Liberal Boomer Parade As Dems Become National Laughingstock

The Democratic Party’s dark-money NGO network, bankrolled by left-wing billionaires, unleashed a highly coordinated, color-revolution-style mobilization nationwide on Saturday; the same tactics U.S. intelligence agencies have used overseas for years in regime-change operations. Yet the turnout wasn’t dominated by unhinged young leftists or gender-confused woke warriors, but rather by white baby-boomer liberals, a mobilization effort that NGO expert Mike Benz described as a “Coup d’f?lat.”

The nation is waking up to the fact that dark-money NGO networks, including the Arabella Network, Soros Network, Gates Foundation, Ford Foundation, Tides Foundation, Rockefeller Network, Singham Network, and many others, are funneling millions of dollars into what investigative researchers Peter Schweizer and Seamus Bruner of the Government Accountability Institute call “Riot, Inc.” – the permanent protest industrial complex and the engine behind “No Kings 2.0” partners and organizers. These protests are far from organic; this movement is manufactured, coordinated, and entirely artificial.

Get Woke, Go Broke: Hollywood Productions Plummet to All Time Lows

18th October 2025

Read it.

Film and TV production in the Los Angeles area has hit an all-time low, sinking to levels worse than the SAG union strike of 2023. The city has introduces new tax incentives to generate enthusiasm but many in Tinseltown are questioning if the industry will ever recover.

FilmLA, the city and county’s film permitting office, said Tuesday that on-location production in the greater Los Angeles area declined 13.2% from July through September 2025 compared to the same period last year. Once again, this continues a multi-year trend in declining local production.

LA motion picture employment dropped from 142,000 in 2022 to 100,000 by end-2024 – a 30% cut (42,000 jobs gone). Below-the-line crew were hit hardest; 63% earned less in 2024, and 41% are considering an exit. High taxes in LA and California have forced some productions to leave the area, but total US film and TV productions are still in decline no matter where you go in the country. There has been a 28% drop in theatrical releases since 2019 and a 25% drop in scripted TV projects.

The vast majority of film and TV media are shot in the greater Los Angeles area due to proximity to studios, editing facilities, effects houses and actor pools. A drop in Hollywood and LA production indicates are decline in the film industry as a whole. The plunge in activity coincides with the overall drop in box office receipts since 2019.

Homeland Security’s border agency says it has fixed a loophole from the Biden era that let immigrants enter the United States illegally and claim asylum despite using fraudulent identification documents, according to a newly released audit.

The Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general said in a report that agents at the border caught migrants using fake papers but failed to record the attempted fraud in the migrants’ official immigration files, known as A-files, reports The Washington Times.

As a result, authorities reviewing asylum applications had no idea the individuals had tried to deceive border officers, which could have disqualified them.

Germany’s Steel Industry Collapse: The March Toward Green Socialism

18th October 2025

Read it.

On the eve of an emergency crisis summit with the steel industry, Germany’s ruling Social Democrats (SPD) have unveiled their “crisis roadmap.” If subsidies and protectionism fail, the sector will be nationalized. Just like that.

Germany’s steel sector has become the perfect parable for the pitiful state of the country’s broader industrial base. Its decline over the past eight years is almost without precedent in modern economic history. Output has plunged by more than 30% since 2018, with the first half of this year alone showing a brutal 12% year-on-year drop — a collapse accelerating at high speed.

In absolute numbers: crude steel production fell from its 2018 peak of 42.4 million tons to what will likely be only 29 million tons this year. It’s simple: producing in Germany no longer pays. So capital is fleeing to more profitable locations. China — and now increasingly the U.S. — is where business gets done.

Greenpeace Wants Europe to Rewrite American Law

16th October 2025

Read it.

Fueled by the explosive rise of artificial intelligence and the data centers that power it, America’s demand for electricity has surged to record highs. Meeting that demand will require unprecedented investment in reliable, affordable energy. Yet just as the need for dependable power grows more urgent, radical climate activists are working to choke off the very projects that promise to supply it and are threatening the integrity of the American judicial system in the process.

The clearest example of this troubling trend came earlier this year, when Greenpeace International filed a lawsuit in the Netherlands against the American company Energy Transfer, an extraordinary attempt to overturn a verdict issued by an American court. In the case, a North Dakota jury ordered Greenpeace to pay roughly $660 million in damages for its role in the disruptive 2016 and 2017 protests targeting Energy Transfer’s Dakota Access Pipeline.

During the North Dakota trial, jurors heard how the organization engaged in a campaign of defamation, disruption, and property damage that led to costly delays in the pipeline’s construction. One of Greenpeace’s central falsehoods was that the pipeline would cut through sacred tribal lands. In reality, Energy Transfer worked directly with tribal leaders and routed the pipeline to avoid such areas, a fact Greenpeace chose to ignore.

Greenpeace was also found to have dispatched paid protesters to the construction site who were carrying tools that were later used to lock agitators to equipment. These “hired guns” trained protesters who assaulted law enforcement officers, set fires, and caused untold environmental damage by leaving behind 48 million pounds of garbage.

Ceasefire Is ‘Oppressor’s Term’, Say Pro-Palestinian Protesters

16th October 2025

The Times (UK).

Pro-Palestinian campaigners have vowed to continue protesting, claiming the ceasefire agreement did not amount to a peace deal and branding “ceasefire” an “oppressor’s term”.

Perhaps they’d prefer the term “hudna“.

Several groups said the peace agreement brokered by President Trump last week was “not enough” and had done “little to change their demands”.

Nothing will ever change their demands, because those demands will change hour by hour.

The Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) has encouraged students to walk out of classes on Thursday, boycott Barclays on Saturday and has planned a march on November 2. University societies described the agreement as a “so-called peace deal” and encouraged students to demand the sanctioning and boycott of “the Zionist state of Israel”.

Democrats and their radical leftist allies need an urgent wake-up call after betting the entire political strategy on transgender ideology, which most notably is the effort to queer America’s youth into “gender-fluid” left-wing activists operating in schoolyards and on city streets. In short, youngsters appear to be rejecting the multi-decade social engineering experiment by leftist public school bureaucrats, Hollywood, progressive doctors, left-wing NGOs, and other ideological operatives aligned with the globalist agenda.

Dark Money British Political Operatives Interfering in American Elections

A few years back, I kept tripping across one of the many “disinformation experts” who popped up during the COVID pandemic like mushrooms on a rotten log after a hard night’s rain. I had no clue who Imran Ahmed was, nor his Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), but the Biden White House plucked him from obscurity to anoint him an expert on COVID vaccines and to censor their critics.

Intrigued, I began digging into the Center for Countering Digital Hate. In a 3,300-word investigation for Tablet, I exposed CCDH—not for being a trusted source on vaccines—but as a fraudulent political operation formed by two staffers working for the British Labour Party: Morgan McSweeney and Imran Ahmed. These two characters created CCDH and several other dark money nonprofits to install Keir Starmer as the head of Labour. Starmer is now the Prime Minister of England and Morgan McSweeney is his chief of staff. After its success in the UK, CCDH then began operating in DC and coordinating with Democrats to attack critics of the Biden administration.

Parents, Students Protest School Transgender Bathroom Policy

14th October 2025

Read it.

Students and parents staged a walkout at a high school in Oregon last week to protest a state policy that allows boys to be in the girls’ locker room and restrooms, The News-Review reported.

The walkout from Roseburg High School in Roseburg, Oregon, on Wednesday was sparked after several girls reported feeling uncomfortable with a boy using their private facilities, according to the report.

“Some of my daughter’s friends let me know about all of this going on. As a mom, I don’t stand for boys in my daughter’s locker room. That’s a private area for her,” RHS parent Shannon Miller said, The News-Review reported.

Leftist Fear: Antifa Pretends to Be Peaceful After Trump Announces Crackdown

13th October 2025

Read it.

After years of waging a subversive war against the western world, radical leftists think they can polish their image overnight and pretend as if they were always an amicable movement of civil rights advocates. Much like the “fiery but mostly peaceful” BLM, Antifa is facing a political optics crisis and they are desperate for some spin. With the help of the establishment media and Democrat politicians, they think they have found the solution.

Like any other well organized network, Antifa activists in the Portland epicenter have changed tactics almost overnight. They are pulling back from their typical black-bloc outfits, physical assaults and intimidation and donning inflatable cartoon animal costumes instead.

Us Moves to Cancel One of the World’s Largest Solar Farms

12th October 2025

The Financial Times. a Voice of the Crust

(The FT is the British analog of the Wall Street Journal–if the Wall Street Journal were published by the staff of Mother Jones.)

The US has moved to cancel what would have been the largest solar project in North America, as the Trump administration expands its attack on the embattled renewable energy industry.

Late on Thursday the Bureau of Land Management scrapped approval for Esmeralda 7, a 6.2 gigawatt project that could have powered nearly 2mn homes. It had begun the permitting process under the Biden administration.

The high-profile Nevada solar project backed by NextEra Energy, the largest renewable energy company in the US, is the latest to become a casualty of the Trump administration. The American president has called renewable energy projects a “scam”.

Council Refused Feminists Security After Trans Activists Smashed Venue

11th October 2025

The Times (UK).

A council refused to grant a legal order shielding a feminist organisation from antisocial behaviour hours after trans activists smashed up its conference venue.

Rather amusing to see ‘feminists’ suffering the same indignities that they like to inflict on other people. What goes around comes around.

More than 2,000 people are due to attend the three-day conference hosted by Filia, which started on Friday. Organisers say the twice-yearly event is aimed at defending women’s rights and challenging sex-based injustices.

I’m sure that ‘trans activists’ use similar rhetoric.

On Thursday night, under the cover of darkness, masked transgender rights campaigners attacked the venue in Brighton.

The activists, who call themselves “Bash Back”, later released video on social media of them smashing the glass frontage of the Brighton Centre, which they said was hosting a conference that would be attended by “hate groups”.

Pass the popcorn.

Chicago Woman in Car Ramming Incident Faces Federal Charges

10th October 2025

Read it.

A Chicago woman who was shot multiple times by federal immigration agents was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of impeding a federal officer with a deadly weapon.

Prosecutors alleged Marimar Martinez, 30, rammed the vehicle of federal agents with her own vehicle before they shot her, which they said was an act of self-defense and that she was armed.

Martinez’s attorney, Christopher Parente, said footage from one of the agent’s bodycams contradicted that account, and Martinez will plead not guilty at an arraignment scheduled for next week.

ANTIFA’s Mask Slips: Trump’s Roundtable Sends Shadow NGO Network Behind “Riot Inc.” Into Panic

10th October 2025

Read it.

President Trump’s latest roundtable on ANTIFA wasn’t just a political statement — it was a long-overdue reckoning against rising far-left political violence. For years, journalists and citizens alike have watched America’s streets burn, our cities vandalized, and our law enforcement vilified under banners of “resistance.” But as the President’s meeting revealed, ANTIFA is only one mask worn by a much larger monster — a transnational network of NGOs, foreign financiers, and ideological operatives quietly fueling what Seamus Bruner of the Government Accountability Institute called “Riot Inc.”

Greta’s Gaza Flotilla Spews 165 Tons of Air Pollution: Study

10th October 2025

Read it.

Hey, virtue-signaling isn’t cheap.

reta Thunberg’s Gaza-bound flotilla belched more pollution than 200 airplane trips between Israel and the U.K., according to a new analysis.

The Swedish climate-turned-anti-Israel activist’s Sumud Flotilla burned through more than 14,000 gallons of diesel during its five-week voyage from Spain to Gaza, according to a study by Volta Solar, a solar energy company based in Israel.

That fuel use, the study said, translated into 165 tons of air pollution — equal to the CO? emissions from 206 commercial flights between Tel Aviv and London.

Told you it wouldn’t go to Trump. Pigs are amazing creatures but they cannot, in fact, fly.

I’m curious how the activities of a ‘political opposition leader’ in a totalitarian country promote peace. Surely they promote further conflict?

UK’s Green Party Demands Abolition of Private Landlords

9th October 2025

Read it.

On Sunday, the Green Party in the United Kingdom voted to “abolish” private landlords in a move that reaffirms the party as a largely socialist movement.

For some environmentalists, it is a sad hijacking of a cause by far-left elements that moves it away from its original environmental priorities.

Who didn’t expect that to happen?

UN to Slash a Quarter of Peacekeepers Globally Over Funding

9th October 2025

Read it.

The United Nations will cut a quarter of peacekeepers in 11 operations around the world in the coming months due to a lack of money, senior U.N. officials said on Wednesday, and as future funding from the United States remains uncertain.

“Overall, we will have to repatriate … around 25% of our total peacekeeping troops and police, as well as their equipment, and a large number of civilian staff in missions will also be affected,” said a senior U.N. official, speaking on condition of anonymity.

That would amount to between 13,000 and 14,000 troops and police, the official said.

Choking off funds to the U.N. and its actively-anti-American operations is one of Trump’s chief wins.

PBS Pushes Film on Leftist Librarians Claiming ‘Book Bans’ — No Opposing View Allowed

9th October 2025

Read it.

On Sunday’s PBS News Weekend, anchor John Yang introduced a self-satisfied segment on a new documentary from the literary leftists at PEN America, based on the misnomer that books are being “banned” from schools and public libraries, as opposed to being removed due to concerns over age appropriateness regarding explicit sexual content.

PBS is picking up the baton from their public radio cohorts at NPR, which has made a cottage industry conducting performative preening over so-called “book bans,” often when the American Library Association’s “Banned Books Week” rolls around.

Censorship is a histrionic description of removing or limiting access to books in public schools. The books selected by librarians should not be “challenged” for any reason. It’s not a “banned book” when librarians refuse to stock a book.

Nowhere in this seven-minute promotional (and unanimous) segment does Yang disclose that this documentary is funded by the Independent Television Service, financed like PBS stations through the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. It’s slated to air on the PBS show Independent Lens next February.
