Most recently, he gave an unrestricted gift of $300 million to Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Harvard’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences is to be renamed in his honor. It’s hard to believe he couldn’t resist the temptation, find a worthier object of his charity, or distinguish between friends and enemies.

They are not, after all, banning their opponents—they have no power to do so—but only suggesting that their ‘offensive and harmful’ ideas should not be condoned.
