In the front rank of the cast of heroes and villains of 2020 is Andy Cuomo, the feckless Governor of New York, a villain. He preened while New York burned. His policy of sending covid-infected patients into nursing homes killed thousands, while he tried to obscure the disaster by misleadingly reporting covid deaths.

The CBS Evening News was proud of the double standard they applied to Republicans and Democrats. During their Monday newscast, national correspondent Manuel Bojorquez chided Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) for threatening to take vaccine doses from hospitals not distributing them fast enough. But in the same report, he touted New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) for threatening to fine hospitals $100,000 for the same thing.

Guess which state has been more successful fighting back COVID-19—Florida or New York? According to the media, the answer is obvious: New York, on account of its totally awesome Gov. Andrew Cuomo. In fact the death rate per 100,000 people in Florida is about half that of New York (96 per 100K for Florida, versus 188 per 100K in New York).
Over on Twitter, DC communications pro Drew Holden has put together a terrific thread showing the appalling press favoritism for Cuomo alongside the obvious media hostility for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Here are a few of the samples he has juxtaposed.

As the Trump era draws to a close and not a single journalist has ever been jailed or probed in leak investigations like Team Obama probed reporters and their leakers, some journalists can admit it’s been a pretty rewarding gig to oppose President Trump furiously.
McKay Coppins of The Atlantic – a very partisan magazine – penned an article headlined “The Resistance’s Breakup With the Media Is At Hand.” He admitted “In the Trump era, many Washington reporters became resistance heroes, showered with book deals, TV contacts, and Twitter followers.” Journalists couldn’t be distinguished from protesters, and the fame and fortune was irresistible

Even before he was the official Democrat nominee for president, Joe Biden’s friends at The View regularly and religiously propped up his campaign this year. Whether it was parroting the Democrat’s overt lies or even touting his wife’s so-called medical qualifications, the candidate could always count on the talk show hosts to volunteer as his PR team.

In the last several weeks, now that the election is over, MSNBC production teams have been struggling to keep track of which of the network’s pretend Republican analysts are actually still identifying as Republicans.
Most recently, on Sunday’s PoliticsNation show, host Al Sharpton incorrectly identified MSNBC political analyst Elise Jordan as a “Republican strategist,” as did the chyron, even though she has previously admitted on the network that she is no longer a Republican. But, on the Sunday show, Jordan did not even bother to correct him.
They’ll even let Mitt Romney claim to be a Republican, which is like claiming that Bernie Sanders is a conservative.

One of the more annoying things that the elitist media does in the course of their profession, was to think that just because they spend some time covering something it meant that they’re suddenly trained experts in the field. Thus was the case on Sunday’s Face the Nation, were talking head Margaret Brennan began yelling at Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams to vaccinate President Trump on camera, despite medical advice not to. She also accused Republicans of being anti-vaccine.

In January of 1975, President Gerald Ford stood at the rostrum in the House of Representatives to deliver his first State of the Union Address.
The reason Ford was there at all was because, between the fall of 1973 and the summer of 1974, the country had been in a serious uproar over two scandals. The first involved then-Vice President Spiro Agnew and allegations of corruption that resulted in Agnew’s resignation and his replacement by Ford. By August of 1974, President Richard Nixon, on the verge of impeachment over the Watergate scandal, was forced to resign. Making Ford the first un-elected President of the United States.

The absurd Big Brother micromanagement by social media of postings by individuals can be seen reflected in the recent labeling as “false” by Instagram of a post linking Joe Biden’s 1994 crime bill to mass incarceration.
This was highlighted by Steven Nelson in Wednesday’s New York Post in an article titled, “Instagram censors post for linking Joe Biden’s 1994 law to mass incarceration.”

Matt Taibbi.
Start with the headline: Supporting the 2020 U.S. Election. YouTube in its company blog can’t even say, “Banning Election Conspiracy Theories.” They have to employ the Orwellian language of politicians — Healthy Forests, Clear Skies, “Supported” Elections — because Google and YouTube are now political actors, who can’t speak plainly any more than a drunk can walk in a straight line.
…
If you want a population of people to stop thinking an election was stolen from them, it’s hard to think of a worse method than ordering a news blackout after it’s just been demonstrated that the last major blackout was a fraud. Close your eyes and imagine what would have happened if Facebook and Google had banned 9/11 Truth on the advice of intelligence officials in the Bush years, and it will start to make sense that Trump voters in Guy Fawkes masks are now roaming the continent like buffalo.

It may be called CNN Newsroom, but if CNN hosts spend nearly every show launching nasty tirades against Republicans, is it really still, “news?”
Afternoon host Brianna Keilar opened her 1:00 p.m. Eastern hour show on Thursday by singling out Republican senators who have not called Joe Biden, “President-Elect” in the past 24 hours, after the Electoral College made Biden’s win official. After Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) congratulated Biden from the Senate floor today, Keilar took that news as license to conduct a witch hunt on other Republicans who haven’t done so yet.

The New York Times posted an article on “The Undoing of Jeffrey Toobin” on Tuesday by reporters Katherine Rosman and Jacob Bernstein. The main takeaway is that CNN executives are still “unwilling to discuss his future,” which means “he’s not fired.” A spokeswoman confirmed Toobin was still CNN’s chief legal analyst, “but would not comment further.”
Three CNN employees say that CNN boss Jeff Zucker “is a big fan of Mr. Toobin’s and a believer in second chances. But Mr. Zucker may be leaving CNN in 2021, making his opinion perhaps irrelevant.”

Whether I agreed, disagreed, liked, or not so much, regardless of party, I always respected the office of the Presidency of the United States; thus, I addressed its occupant as President or Mr. (maybe Ms. one day before I die).
Excerpts from Mr. Obama’s latest soon-to-be-released memoir motivate me to exclude him from that courtesy. As a Trump supporter, I’m white (guilty!), I’m privileged (I’m not, never have been), deplorable (don’t believe so), a clinger to guns (don’t own one), and religious (Buddhist). I weary of reciting all the other egregious epithets lobbed at me. Impolite adds small weight to the pile.
Per Barry, I am lumped into a sack of approximately 73-plus million Americans of myriad backgrounds, beliefs, races, and religions, stapled and labeled “racist!” It appears that Barry has acquired not one whit of intellect, wisdom, grace, class, or character since he published his first two memoirs purportedly ghostwritten.

Following the Op-Ed, former NPR/NBC journalist David Gura noted that Northwestern had scrubbed Epstein’s profile from its website, which previously listed him as an “emeritus lecturer.” In a statement to Gura, Northwestern and its English Department said that the university disagrees with Epstein’s “misogynistic views” – despite the fact that gender had nothing to do with his op-ed.

ABC’s This Week was on a roll Sunday during their so-called “Powerhouse Roundtable” as they showed off just how much of a propaganda outlet for the Democratic Party they were. Between news analyst Matthew Dowd suggesting the Republican Party was “team autocracy” and fill-in host Martha Raddatz claiming there was no evidence of wrongdoing from Hunter Biden, the panel discussion was packed with nonsense.
After Dowd had whined about the Trump administration stepping all over the good news of the Pfizer COVID vaccine getting approved by the Food and Drug Administration and getting shipped out, Raddatz wanted to “really, truly,” know, “what happens now to those Republicans who support[ed]” President Trump’s legal challenges to the 2020 election. “How dramatically has the Republican Party changed?”

New York Times liberal columnist Michelle Goldberg displayed some laugh-out-loud ignorance in her Tuesday tirade about election protests by Trump supporters in Michigan, “No One Expects G.O.P. Well, OK, it’s November 2020. The show is almost over. When do we get Hitler?
No, do not tell me “any day now.” You’ve been telling us that for four straight years. Do we look like a bunch of gullible idiots that you can whip up into a four-year frenzy of mindless hatred and paranoia by screaming “Hitler!” over and over, and then not produce an actual Hitler?

James O’Keefe of Project Veritas, in the ultimate trolling coup of the year, monitored and recorded CNN’s morning conference call with CNN President Jeff Zucker and other company executives and reporters for some two months. O’Keefe has released the first batch of audiotapes from those calls, which confirm the network’s anti-Donald Trump, pro-Joe Biden bias.
Exposing CNN’s liberal bias is no bombshell, as it is self-evident to any objective viewer, but it is deliciously affirming to hear these legacy media frauds betray their corruption in their own words. There’s no explaining away their admissions of news doctoring in these tapes.
The recordings prove that the executives not only dictate the network’s editorial slant but also manipulate its news side in deciding what stories will be reported and how they will be presented — to ensure that Trump is portrayed in a negative light and Biden is protected at all costs.
