A loophole that allows supercar and luxury car owners to register their vehicles in Montana to save on taxes could be endangered because of a new bill in the California legislature.

The workaround costs the Golden State some $20 million a year in lost tax revenue, according to the bill’s sponsor, Jerry McNerney, a Democrat from Pleasanton. Montana has no car registration fees or state sales tax, allowing car buyers to set up shell companies to register cars there and avoid taxes in their home states. The loophole is well-known among car collectors, which is the reason why one often sees Big Sky Country license plates on cars at shows in many places that aren’t Montana.

“The Montana Loophole is widening, with increasing numbers of tax evaders creating bogus shell companies so they can avoid paying sales taxes on Ferraris, Porsches, and pricey RVs, costing California tens of millions in revenue,” McNerney said in a statement.

I like Steve Jobs’ trick fo buying a new car, driving it with the temporary tag until that expired, and then trading it in on a new car, rinse, repeat. A very good way for a billionaire to preserve his anonymity.

McNerney’s bill would target the shell companies used to facilitate the Montana registrations. “SB 1406 would close the Montana Loophole by expanding California’s definition of who is a resident under state use tax law to include a shell company when at least one member of the business is a California resident. SB 1406 would also authorize CDTFA to impose tax liability on the individual members of a shell company,” according to a press release.

So you back up one—the shell company that owns the car is in turn owned by a shell company that doesn’t own a car but is owned by a California resident. Then the use tax law applies to the near shell company but not to the far shell company that has no California resident owners.

No Democrat drone legislator is as clever as a billionaire-employed lawyer. I guarantee it. Certainly not Jerry McNerny.

This particular shameless Orwellian gaslighting comes from America’s 44th president, Barack Hussein Obama.

It’s amazing how much California does these days to roll into its stereotype as a dysfunctional, woke-ified political wasteland.

On Tuesday, the University of Southern California canceled its scheduled gubernatorial debate after several top Democrats reportedly waged a pressure campaign to put a halt to it.

The field is currently wide open with Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom being term-limited out of office. One would think that would be a reason to give voters a chance to learn about the policies of the new candidates, a mix of Republicans and Democrats competing in the state’s “jungle” primary that lumps the parties together.

Nope.

You see, the leading candidates set to appear on stage had a BIG problem. They were all WHITE. None of the non-white candidates crossed the polling and fundraising thresholds set ahead of time by USC.

The House Ethics Committee held their scheduled adjudicatory hearing, more commonly referred to as a “trial”, against Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL). Sadly, none of the main broadcast network newscasts saw fit to carry the story.

The networks continue their ongoing blackout of this story. Not a second of it aired on ABC, CBS or ABC’s evening newscasts. This major omission joins their omission of the IOC’s ban on “trans women” during the 2028 Games and onward thereafter.

The PBS item is not perfect, though. Viewers never once heard any detail of the egregious charges filed against Cherfilus-McCormick.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and progressive House lawmakers on Thursday unveiled a proposal to impose new annual taxes on the nation’s wealthiest households, arguing it would address inequality and generate significant federal revenue.

The Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act of 2026, introduced alongside Reps. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., and Brendan Boyle, D-Pa., would apply a 2% annual tax on household net worth above $50 million and a 3% rate on wealth exceeding $1 billion.

The plan targets roughly 260,000 households, or about the top 0.15% of Americans, while leaving taxes unchanged for most taxpayers.

Democrats never saw a pocket that they didn’t want to pick.

Lawmakers backing the bill said the current tax system does not fully capture wealth held by the ultra-rich, allowing some high-wealth individuals to pay lower effective rates relative to their assets than middle- and working-class families.

Nowhere, of course, do they explain why it’s so important to ‘fully capture wealth held by the ultra-rich’; they just presume that their audience is as consumed by envy as they are. If the rich pay lower effective rates, that’s what the law allows them to do; rather than change the law to make things more ‘fair’ (which they can’t be bothered to do), the just want to do a snatch-and-grab on ‘wealth’ that represents investment that drives the economy. A classic case of killing the goose that lays the golden eggs.

According to a newly declassified intelligence report, U.S. intelligence agencies intercepted communications from Ukrainian government officials back in 2022 discussing a scheme to siphon off hundreds of millions in American taxpayer dollars. Consider the case of Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-Mccormick (D-FL). McCormick has been indicted by a federal grand jury on multiple charges related to the alleged theft of FEMA funds. The sole evening newscast item on her charges came last fall, a quick brief on the NBC Nightly News.

There has been no coverage on the evening news or anywhere else since, and the House Ethics Committee is set to hold a public hearing tomorrow.

In his Tuesday monologue, Kimmel discussed the news that Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin has become the new Secretary of Homeland Security, but according to Kimmel, Mullin is not qualified for the job because in his pre-congressional life, he was a plumber.

Kimmel began with what has become common for the late night comedians: a jab at Mullin’s name, “Trump’s got a whole new generation of thinkers lined up, including his newly confirmed secretary of Homeland Security, Markwayne ‘Chuck Mike Bruce Dave’ Melon—Mullin. Maybe melon’s better. He’s the now former senator of Oklahoma. Before he was elected to the Senate, Markwayne Mullin was a low-level MMA fighter and a plumber.”

What was Kimmel before he became a late-night propagandist? Oh, that’s right: a comedian. Nevcr did anything constructive, Never did anything challenging. Never got elected to anything. Pretty much a drone.

The district attorney in Philadelphia threatened to arrest Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers patrolling the city’s international airport.

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner issued the warning Tuesday at Philadelphia International Airport, where ICE agents have been deployed to assist amid Transportation Security Administration staffing shortages tied to the ongoing Department of Homeland Security shutdown.

“This is how it works,” Krasner said at a press conference. “You commit crimes within the jurisdiction that is the city and county of Philadelphia, I prosecute you.”

Mobile billboards are being deployed Tuesday morning at the three Washington, D.C.-area airports amid the Department of Homeland Security shutdown that has led to long security lines at airports across the nation.

“You’re waiting in line because millions skipped it. Tell Chuck Schumer: Fund DHS,” the billboard reads, referring to the millions of illegal aliens that Customs and Border Protection reports entered the United States during the Biden administration. Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., is the Senate Minority Leader.

The billboard includes a number and a QR code to call Schumer’s office.

By many measures, California is the center of the Democratic Party’s political universe. The most populous U.S. state, it is home to both the party’s last presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, and possibly its future one, Gov. Gavin Newsom.

But thanks to the state’s quirky electoral system and a crowded field of candidates, Democrats are suddenly facing an unlikely but unpleasant possibility: getting locked out of the general election this fall to succeed Newsom, who is not permitted to run for a third term.

Under California law, the top two finishers in the June 2 open primary contest will advance to November’s election, regardless of party.

Polls show the two leading Republican candidates, former British government aide and Fox News host Steve Hilton and Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, are closely bunched with three Democrats: U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell, former U.S. Representative Katie Porter and billionaire activist Tom Steyer.

Michigan’s Democrat attorney general cited the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “hate map” when announcing a “hate-crimes unit” in 2019, and after one of the conservative groups on the map sued, the AG’s office won’t say whether it will refuse to cite the SPLC in the future.

The American Freedom Law Center, a Judeo-Christian public interest law firm that the SPLC calls an “anti-Muslim hate group” because it warns against radical Islam, sued Michigan AG Dana Nessel and Agustin Arbulu, then-director of the state’s Department of Civil Rights. Nessel and Arbulu had issued a press release in February 2019, citing the SPLC map. Nessel said she was “establishing a hate-crimes unit” in order “to fight against hate crimes and the many hate groups which have been allowed to proliferate in our state.”

After a lengthy court delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a district court granted Nessel’s motion for summary judgment, ruling against the American Freedom Law Center in August. The court ruled that the center lacked standing to bring the suit because it could not demonstrate concrete harm from the government, citing the SPLC accusation. AFLC appealed, and the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals heard the case on Thursday.

Across the nation, states are raising their gas taxes. Leading the way, California now has a 70.9-cent per-gallon state excise tax.

The Tax Foundation says the “gas tax is meant to function as a user fee, charging drivers to fund the construction and maintenance of the roads they use.”

States apply tax gas in a variety of ways; most add tax at the pump, some charge sales taxes on fuel suppliers, and others tack on extra fees like “underground storage tank fees.”

All of these charges add differently, which is why gas taxes—and gas prices—can look very different from one state to another.

Zohran Mamdani campaigned on a promise to “shift the tax burden from overtaxed homeowners in the outer boroughs to more expensive homes in richer and whiter neighborhoods”. His tenant official Cea Weaver tweeted that she wanted to “impoverish the *white* middle class” because “homeownership is racist”, declared that “private property is a weapon of white supremacy” and warned that, “we’ll transition from treating property as an individual good to a collective good. Whites especially will be impacted.”

Now Mamdani has shown the first sign of implementing these systemically racist proposals.

Hidden at the bottom of the first page of his proposals to increase revenue through various gimmicks and taxes is a call to increase the estate tax “by lowering the exemption to $750,000 from its current value of $7.1 million” and massively raising the “top rate from 16% to 50%.”

Why specifically $750,000? Why is that the magic number? The proposal doesn’t explain but the demographics do: New York is already one of the few states with its own estate tax. Mamdani’s proposed changes to the state estate tax would make it the state that taxes middle class homeowners the hardest.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D- NY) campaign splashed close to $19,000 in campaign funds last year to a Boston-area psychiatrist affiliated with a chain of clinics that specialize in ketamine-based treatments for mental-health conditions, according to the New York Post.

Disclosures filed with the Federal Election Commission indicate that Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign committee made three payments totaling $18,725 in 2025 to Dr. Brian Boyle, chief psychiatric officer at Stella Mental Health. The expenditures were recorded as “leadership training and consulting”: $11,550 in March, $2,800 in May and $4,375 in October.

Dr. Boyle, a Harvard Medical School graduate who previously served as an attending psychiatrist at McLean Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, focuses on interventional psychiatry. Stella Mental Health offers treatments including intravenous ketamine infusions, Spravato nasal spray, transcranial magnetic stimulation and other approaches aimed at conditions such as treatment-resistant depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety. The clinics market these services to patients who have not responded to conventional therapies, and ketamine-based options have gained attention in recent years among certain professional and celebrity circles seeking alternative mental-health interventions, the Post reports..

Residents of the posh coastal city of Rancho Palos Verdes tore into Gov. Gavin Newsom for sinking critical legislation that would help protect properties in the idyllic community 30 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.

Peter Pettler, 83, told The California Post that he’s seen the value of his sprawling 2,700-square-foot ranch-style home plummet in value from $2.5 million to just $515,000.

He was once even offered a pathetic $5,000 for his four-bedroom, four-bathroom manor.

A few years ago, we mocked Gavin Newsom for his total lack of understanding about pew-pews when he called a .22 caliber rifle a “weapon of mass destruction,” and then flagged his camera crew with it.

As Newsom said in that 2022 video, he signed a bill to ban “sick marketing ploys,” AKA allowing companies to advertise guns that parents can buy to teach their kids to shoot.

After signing AB 2571 into law, Newsom was immediately challenged in court by the Firearms Policy Coalition, Safari Club International, the United States Sportsman’s Alliance Foundation, the Congressional Sportsman’s Foundation, and others.

The law was then struck down TWICE by the Ninth Circuit.

On March 17, St. Patrick’s Day, California finally took the L and said it would pay the court fees of those who had challenged its unconstitutional law, totaling $1.38 million.

A soft-on-criminal-illegal-aliens prosecutor and sheriff in Fairfax County, Virginia have been asked to appear before a House Judiciary subcommittee to testify about how their practices and policies are harming public safety, after an illegal alien with a lengthy criminal history who had been repeatedly released was charged with stabbing to death a local woman at a bus stop.

House and Senate Democrats have introduced bills promising to eliminate income taxes for broad swaths of Americans. Generally, these plans accompany proposals to soak the rich, provide guaranteed cash payments and expanded tax credits, and somehow end up deficit neutral.

Buy those votes! Buy those votes!

Although the goal of increased progressivity and fairness is noble, these plans concede too much ground to the slop-populism of the Trump administration and fail to confront fiscal reality. Instead, policymakers should focus on raising revenue and stop pretending the national debt is not already ballooning out of control.

Damn, this boy sounds like a Republican. No wonder Democrats are ignoring him.

After a grueling 25 hours of debate on the House floor, complete with an almost show-stopping filibuster effort of more than 81 amendments by Republicans to stop the bill from moving forward, Washington made history this week with the passage of a millionaires tax bill, which would create the first income tax in the state’s history.

On March 9, lawmakers passed a 9.9% tax on personal income above $1 million per year—a first for the income-taxless state. The final vote was 52–46, and involved the longest floor debate in Washington history, far exceeding the previous record of nine hours.

“We knew it was going to be a pretty major endeavor,” Rep. Brianna Thomas, a Democrat who supported the measure, told Fortune. “We’ve got 93 years of precedent in front of us, behind us, around us at all times on the conversation around an income tax.”

For Thomas, the economy has simply outgrown the code. Washington has now become the home of global multitrillion-dollar organizations Amazon, Microsoft, and Boeing, and it’s staring down a projected budget deficit of $10 billion to $12 billion over the next four years.

Gov. Gavin Newsom had helped set up a state government agency for his wife and then a quasi-government non-profit to which he has directed millions of dollars which in turn helped promote yet another non-profit that puts millions of dollars in the pockets of the Newsoms.

That convoluted arrangement may explain why Newsom won’t turn over his tax returns.

Gov. Newsom promised to be the first California governor to release his tax returns every year, but media outlets have been grumbling that the last time he released a tax return was quite a few years ago when he was legally required to because he was running for reelection.

The questions got louder when he bought a $9 million house in addition to their $6 million house. The new 5,609 square foot estate comes with a spa, sculptures and Brazilian decks, and was bought from a member of the billionaire Pritzker clan, who have been one of Newsom’s major donors, and carries a $6.5 million mortgage with $600,000 in annual payments plus over $100,000 in property taxes. Some have been asking where all that money was coming from.

This may only be the tip of the iceberg considering that in 2019, the Newsoms had paid their household staff $288,000 alone. Assuming that the staffing costs have kept pace, California’s first family should be looking at very some very huge bills to maintain their outrageous lifestyle.

A video posted Monday on X shows a sign that says “Sign petition for $5” and a line of people waiting along the sidewalk. A woman sitting at a folding table appears to be instructing the name and address to use to fill out the petition. When the person recording asked what the petitions were for, the woman said, “Just sign it.”

The California secretary of state’s office said in a statement that it was “aware of, and investigating, the matter.”

A recent attack by an illegal alien that took place on the New York City subway perfectly represents where concentric circles of awful leftist policies meet to damage free societies.

On Sunday afternoon, 34-year-old Bairon Hernandez allegedly shoved an 83-year-old Air Force veteran, Richard Williams, and another young man onto the subway track in the Upper East Side. Fortunately, the younger victim, Jhon Pena, was able to pull Williams off the track before a train arrived, though the vet remains in serious condition.

The suspect, according to Pix 11, is a four-time deportee with 15 prior arrests for, among other things, “simple assault, domestic violence, obstruction of police, possession of a weapon, drug possession, and aggravated assault.”

Hernandez first entered the country in January 2008 and was last deported in July 2020, according to the New York Post. He re-entered the country sometime after then.

A man shot and killed by Dallas police earlier this week was a familiar figure in North Texas law enforcement – and part of the security detail for U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett, sources told CBS News Texas.

Multiple law enforcement sources tell CBS News Texas the man, known publicly as Mike King, had been using aliases while running a business that placed officers in off?duty jobs.

King was killed Wednesday night after a standoff with Dallas police SWAT officers. Police say he fled into a hospital parking garage, barricaded himself inside a vehicle, and was forced out by tear gas before pulling a gun on officers.

Sources say he was wanted for impersonating a law enforcement officer and had claimed to be one while operating Off Duty Police Services, an online platform connecting North Texas officers with off?duty work. Authorities have not released his real name.

The Minnesota Senate rammed through sweeping gun control measures on Friday, after deliberately sidelining the state’s largest pro-Second Amendment organization with just 6 minutes of testimony, while gun control supporters got 32 minutes of speaking time on the flagship gun ban bill.

The Democrat-controlled Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee, chaired by Sen. Ron Latz (DFL), advanced S.F. 3655 – a near-total ban on semiautomatic rifles and magazines holding more than 10 rounds – on a strict 6-3 party-line vote. Latz admitted they “prioritized individual testifiers over organizations” – yet anti-gun groups still got slots while the state’s biggest 2A voice was frozen out.

Before allowing input from the public, the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus – representing tens of thousands of law-abiding citizens – warned the public yesterday that committee staff had already told them the hearing schedule was “full” – effectively blocking them from offering in-person testimony on the core bills: the semi-auto ban, the magazine ban, repeal of state preemption (opening the door to a patchwork of local gun laws), and new carry restrictions at the State Capitol and schools.

Rep. Eric Swalwell has primarily been living in Washington, D.C. for years, and now that he’s running for governor of California, he’s hit a snag over residency.

According to reports, Swalwell is renting a single room in a home in the eastern Bay Area that’s occupied by a family of three to claim residency in the state. Public records show it’s a three-bedroom, 1,350-square-foot home owned by Nicolas and Kristina Mrzywka. It is unlikely that Swalwell has ever truly lived there. And now, one of his Democratic primary rivals is calling him out on it.

“The alleged discovery of Swalwell’s Livermore rental came from the congressman’s top Democratic opponent, billionaire Tom Steyer,” reports the New York Post. “Steyer says Swalwell appears to ‘live in California on paper only’ as the governor race heats up, ‘making him unlikely to meet the basic residency requirements to run for Governor.’”

“Enough is enough.” With those words, Senator Bernie Sanders (I., Vt) launched a push to impose a 5% annual wealth tax on America’s billionaires. With Rep. Ro Khanna (D., Cal.), the legislation, “Make Billionaires Pay Their Fair Share Act,” echoes the growing “eat-the-rich” mantra on the left — seeking to replicate a disastrous push in California that has led to an exodus from that state and an estimated loss of $2 trillion in taxable assets.

It is also flagrantly unconstitutional.

Under the plan, Congress would target 938 billionaires to tap them for $4.4 trillion. That money would then be redistributed as a $3,000 direct payment to every man, woman, and child in a household making $150,000 or less – $12,000 for a family of four.

The timing of the move is telling. Not only is it calculated before the midterm elections, in which the Democrats hope to retake power, but it follows the push by California Democrats and unions to impose a similar wealth tax in that state.

Khanna, who represents Silicon Valley, has supported the state law, which includes a ruinous provision for startup entrepreneurs. The law would not only be retroactive to try to trap wealthy taxpayers who have fled the state, but also base wealth calculations on the voting shares of corporate executives. Often, with start-ups, entrepreneurs hold greater voting shares than actual ownership. However, just in case they need more incentive to leave the state, they will be taxed as if their voting shares represented actual wealth.

The practical problem is that the wealthy, like their wealth, are mobile. As a result, many are fleeing California. So now Khanna is joining with the nation’s leading Democratic Socialists to ensure there is nowhere to hide in the United States. For billionaires in California, they could be double-tapped for ten percent of their wealth.

It has long been the dream of the far left. Years ago, Sen. Elizabeth Warren delighted Democratic voters in her run for the presidency by telling the rich she was coming after “your Rembrandts, your stock portfolio, your diamonds and your yachts.” In one debate, she dramatically rubbed her hands together after saying she would take some of the wealth of fellow candidate John Delaney, a self-made millionaire.

Democrats never see a pocket without the urge to pick it.

Yet another rich guy is fleeing their Democrat-controlled state over a new wealth tax. Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, a huge liberal himself, announced that he’s moving from Washington state to Miami, Florida – hours after state lawmakers advanced a tax bill targeting residents earning over $1 million per year.

Connecticut lawmakers are concerned about child abuse. Good, that issue should be a priority for parents and policymakers alike. But stripping rights away from all parents in the hope that the state will do a better job raising children is wishful thinking.

State lawmakers are considering a proposal that would severely constrict the state’s homeschool law. Currently, Connecticut parents have strong homeschool provisions that protect a family’s right to choose how to educate their children.

The sign-up process is straightforward, and while state officials require parents to teach certain subjects, parents do not have the same burdensome regulations as their neighbors in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, and Pennsylvania.

I can’t help but wonder as James Talarico says God’s “gender identity” is “nonbinary,” as 106 Democrats oppose the Trump administration’s commonsense limits on Medicaid funding for sex-rejecting procedures, and as 104 Democrats co-sponsor a “Transgender Bill of Rights.” All this happens while Americans increasingly want to prevent men who identify as women from entering women’s bathrooms, women’s prisons, and women’s sports.

I’m far from the only one wondering whether the entire party has gone off its rocker. Luckily, the conservative-leaning Manhattan Institute decided to find out.

The Manhattan Institute conducted three national surveys, between Feb. 6 and 15, of registered Democrats and those who voted for Kamala Harris in 2024. The group interviewed 2,998 Democrats or Harris voters. The margins of error range from plus or minus 2.3% for general Democrats, to plus or minus 3.4% for a black Democrat sample, to plus or minus 5.0% for a Hispanic Democrat sample.

After nearly 24 hours of verbal debate, the turning down of nearly all Republican amendments by the majority Democrats, and the denial of press passes to local journalists, not in the Legacy Propaganda Media, the blatantly unconstitutional “Millionaires Tax” passed on a 51-46 vote. A couple of Democrats voted NO, but not enough to make any difference. For over 40 years, the Democrats have been salivating over an Income Tax, and now they have it. At 9.9%, this will make Washington the highest-taxed state in America.

The Washington State Constitution forbids a graduated income tax, stating that all taxes must be equal on equivalent classes of citizens, which their tax is obviously not. State Democrats have stated for the record that the initial 1-million-dollar “exemption” written into the law can be changed at any time with a simple majority vote, and that they intend to do so as soon as they can, making certain that all citizens will be subject to the tax in a few years. What’s really evil is that they attached an “Emergency” provision to the bill, forbidding any Citizen Initiatives from the public to overturn the bill. This is especially rich, given that the tax doesn’t take effect until 2029! Emergency?

Washington Democrats have packed the State Supreme Court with hard-leftists, whom they know will, in defiance of the Constitution, find a way to approve the income tax. We expect lawsuits to be filed as soon as the useless Republicans can get their act together. Individuals and businesses all over the state have already telegraphed that they will be initiating moves away from Washington if the tax passes. Washington businesses already pay a Business and Occupation tax, which is a “gross-receipts” tax, and now they will have to pay an income tax too. The bill has no provisions for reducing other state taxes, like the 10% sales tax, with the passage of the income tax.

Just today, Howard Schultz, the founder of Starbucks, announced his move to Florida. Tech executives implored the legislature not to pass the income tax, so we expect a flood of tech companies out of the state. Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Meta all have big offices in the Seattle area, which are now at risk.

Dr. Mehmet Oz launched a federal investigation into New York’s Medicaid program on March 3, citing the unusual spending trend in the state.

For gossips, let’s note that Michelle Obama skipped this event again. Hillary Clinton was there. Jill Biden was there. Kamala Harris was there. Michelle skipped a black funeral in her own home town. None of these networks mentioned her, either.

ABC’s World News Tonight spent two minutes on the funeral with lots of upbeat music, and small upbeat quotes from Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris. Pierre Thomas gushed: “They came today 10,000 strong to help keep hope alive — not for a funeral, but a black church-style homegoing service. To celebrate the life and legacy of Jesse Jackson, civil rights legend and major American political figure….Jackson, that clarion voice for justice, will never be silenced.”

Jesse Jackson was the second-worst race-hustler and grifter to come out of the civil-rights disturbances of the 1960s (Al Sharpton takes the prize there). It came as no surprise to those who were paying attention that his son, Jesse Jackson Jr., was elected to Congress as a Democrat and eventually wound up in prison. He was a master of the race-shakedown, threatening big business with racial disturbances and racial lawfare unless he and his henchmen were paid off.

He will not be missed, except possibly with a sigh of relief.

A Minnesota state employee who vandalized six Tesla vehicles last year, causing up to $21,000 in damage, received no jailtime and just a single-day suspension from his job, state records show.

Adams told investigators he was “on a break” or “out sick” during the times he was out keying Tesla vehicles, however Adams’ state time card, obtained by Alpha News, shows he logged a full eight-hour workday during the time period he was committing some of the crimes.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor warned that the U.S. Supreme Court had asserted a “newfound authority” after it halted a New York state court order that would have required the state to redraw New York City’s only Republican-held congressional district before the 2026 midterm elections.

The ruling left the current lines in place for now in a closely watched fight over House control.

The emergency action stopped a January ruling that had found the district unfair to Black and Hispanic voters. The district is represented by Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., and covers Staten Island and part of Brooklyn. The move preserves the current map as New York’s election calendar advances.

Sotomayor, joined by Justices Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson, said the court had inserted itself into a state election dispute before New York’s highest court had ruled.

She argued that the justices had acted without explanation and warned that the move could pull the court into election-law disputes nationwide as states continue to fight over congressional boundaries.

Malliotakis praised the decision, saying it kept New York’s 11th Congressional District intact and protected Staten Island and southern Brooklyn voters from losing the ability to elect a representative who reflects their views.

The office of Fairfax, Virginia Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano has dropped murder charges against a man suspected of murdering a man at a bus stop – just days after the George Soros-backed prosecutor drew national criticism for dropping charges against an illegal alien who later went on to be charged with the murder of a woman at a bus stop last month.

“The Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney is in the spotlight again,” FOX 5 DC wrote Thursday, reporting that a second-degree murder charge has been dropped against Robert Andrew Reed, who had been accused of fatally stabbing another man at a bus stop last summer.

Reed isn’t the only bus stop murder suspect to have charges dropped, the local Fox affiliate explains.

Within hours of the Associated Press calling the race, an avalanche of old tweets and video clips had already begun circulating – and Republicans are practically giddy.

The first batch of video ammunition came courtesy of Senate Republicans, who surfaced a clip of Talarico invoking Scripture to defend gender ideology. “God is both masculine and feminine and everything in between. God is nonbinary,” he said in the footage.

The Bible makes it pretty clear that God’s preferred pronouns are ‘he/him’. Shame on this genderist Democrat!
