Since Valentine’s Day, American travelers have stood in hours-long lines that have snaked through airport terminals, out front doors, and into parking structures. Wait times have stretched into three and even four hours. Anxious babies have exhausted young parents before flights. Older passengers have shifted carry-on bags between their weary shoulders as their backs and knees buckle. Throats have parched at security checks as boredom approaches paralysis. If not Hell, Democrats have turned U.S. airports into Purgatory with wings.

But, after enduring this agony, travelers have boarded their aircraft and jetted back to normal. For TSA agents, things have been far tougher. Most have worked valiantly without pay. While President Donald J. Trump’s executive order has begun to pay their back wages, many remain delinquent on credit cards, car loans, rents, and mortgages—through no fault of their own.

TSA agents have taken second jobs. Others have relied on food banks. Some have slept in their cars. Roughly 500 simply have quit their jobs. Who can blame them?

In the interim, Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and other Senate Democrats repeatedly have torpedoed Republican attempts to reopen DHS. Democrats’ goal: Make ICE leave illegal aliens alone.

ampaign in the state with Hasan Piker — a streamer accused of antisemitic rhetoric — is prompting unease among Jewish leaders and fellow Democrats.

Abdul El-Sayed, a physician and former county health executive, is set to appear with Piker at two different Michigan universities on Tuesday.

The Hillel at Michigan State University said it was “deeply troubled” by Piker’s planned visit to campus, calling him a “known antisemite,” while at least one planned speaker, a state representative, backed out of the rallies citing the concerns of her Jewish constituents.

National Jewish leaders also criticized the planned events, with some comparing Piker to Nick Fuentes, the openly antisemitic livestreamer who has divided Republicans and others drawing a connection to the attack last month on Temple Israel.

“Abdul El-Sayed’s decision to host campaign rallies with Piker is not just alarming; it’s absolutely shocking. It reflects a broader trend: the dangerous normalization of antisemitism in our politics,” tweeted Jonathan Greenblatt, the head of the Anti-Defamation League. “That this is happening in Michigan, where Temple Israel was targeted in a violent antisemitic attack … makes it even more egregious.”

California Democrats have a problem with their leading candidates. One doesn’t live in the state but allegedly lived, in the euphemistic sense, with a Chinese spy. Another has the looks and personality of a distempered boar and can’t stop screaming at staffers, reporters and anyone late with her lunch. A third is a billionaire who convenes events at luxury hotels to explain how he’ll fight against the billionaires for the working class he sometimes reads about in the paper.

And those are their most popular candidates.

But since this is California, the real problem is that all of those candidates are all the wrong color. Their skin lacks melanin. Two of them can’t even tan. Their distant ancestors probably came here on the Mayflower or some other European sailing vessel. Basically they’re white.

Much too white.

There are other more ‘diverse’ candidates like a Latino former Los Angeles mayor, a Chinese State Controller, a Black Jewish school superintendent, and Biden’s former Latino Secretary of Health and Human Services (he’s still Latino, but a former secretary), but the public isn’t interested in voting for them or giving them money and so they’re not viable candidates.

What are the Democrats to do when their voters just aren’t interested in diversity?

Californians are beginning to ask: Where is all this money going? On paper, it funds hospitals, universities, schools, prisons, infrastructure, and other public services. But beneath the surface, something else is happening that California Governor Gavin Newsom does not want you to see: massive, systematic, brazen fraud.

Mark Moran, who is running for Virginia’s U.S. Senate seat, announced Thursday that he is leaving the Democratic Party and will continue his campaign as an independent.

Moran had been one of four challengers seeking the Democrat nomination to unseat incumbent Sen. Mark Warner.

Moran, 34, a former investment banker, made the announcement in a video posted on X and recorded outside St. John’s Episcopal Church in Richmond, Virginia, the site of Patrick Henry’s 1775 “Give me liberty or give me death!” speech.

He cited a desire to put “Virginia and America first” above party divisions.

Two illegal aliens in Fairfax County, Virginia pleaded guilty to murder and could be back out on the street in three years, thanks to a sweetheart deal given them by a progressive prosecutor known for going easy of criminals who illegally enter the U.S.

“The reason why the two men will be serving five years behind bars for murder is that Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano’s office offered them a generous plea deal. And both men took it,” WJLA’s Nick Minock reported Thursday:

The two, if convicted via a trial, could have been sentenced to as much as 40 years in prison.

As the sanctuary state’s Commonwealth’s attorney, Descano has made national headlines by going soft on illegal alien criminals, such as in the case of the murder of Stephanie Minter, who was stabbed to death at a bus.

Minter’s suspected killer, Abdul Jalloh, is an illegal alien with a long criminal history who was free at the time of the murder because Descano’s office ignored warnings from other law enforcement officials not to release him because he posed a danger to the community.

“Wherever possible, Steve will make charging and plea decisions that limit or avoid immigration consequences,” Descano’s website vows.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., on Friday called on federal aviation officials to immediately reverse a policy allowing airline passengers to keep their shoes on during airport security screenings, citing newly disclosed findings that the change may have created a significant security vulnerability.

Duckworth, the ranking member of the Senate subcommittee overseeing aviation, said the policy, implemented in July 2025 under former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, was enacted without sufficient coordination and has since raised alarms within the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General (OIG).

In a letter to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) leadership, Duckworth said covert testing conducted by the OIG found that certain full-body scanners used at airport checkpoints are unable to effectively detect threats concealed in footwear.

Unexplained: What serious threats footwear pose. Even the ‘shoe bomber’ who was the cause of this ridiculous policy in the first place wasn’t a serious threat.

Democrats don’t care about security, they just want people inconvenienced and humiliated.

It’s been four years since New Jersey found out it would be hosting the 2026 World Cup — but with only two months until the first game, lawmakers in Trenton are trying to push a 45% spike in local sales taxes.

State Senate Budget Chair Paul Sarlo wants to temporarily increase sales taxes from 6.6% to 9.6% in the Meadowlands District — the 30-square-mile area centered around the MetLife Stadium complex that includes mostly commercial and industrial parts of 14 towns in Bergen and Hudson counties.

Sarlo’s measure would also create a new 50-cent surcharge on every ride-share trip in the district. It would add a new 2.5% surcharge on hotel bookings around the state, with an exception for the Jersey Shore. Casinos and sports books operating out of New Jersey would also be charged 10% for every World Cup bet they receive.

Conservative states across the US have taken action in recent months to begin the arduous process of removing the stain of the woke movement from America’s streets and public buildings. Ted Hill, R-Eagle, limits local governments to flying only the American flag, state flags, official military flags, recognized tribal flags, and the official flag of an Idaho university or college.

The response from Democrats has been dramatic, to say the least, with a somber proclamation of “Transgender Day” to mourn the loss of the pride flag. Idaho also recently passed one of the strictest laws in the nation against transgenders using incorrect bathrooms and public facilities.

New data from states like Massachusetts indicate that Democrat efforts to institute state level “wealth taxes” are driving out business owners and corporations, and these residents are taking billions in tax revenues with them.

There will be no Charlie Kirk highway in his home state of Arizona. The reason: politics.

Exactly whose politics is to blame has become a point of debate.

Kirk, the conservative leader known for his campus debates, was assassinated last year during an event at Utah Valley University. Republicans in Arizona, where Kirk’s Turning Point USA organization is based, passed legislation attempting to add Kirk’s name to Loop 202, a highway circling through the sprawling Phoenix area.

Democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs vetoed it on Friday.

In a veto message to state lawmakers, Hobbs denounced political violence but suggested that Republicans had inappropriately injected politics into a decision rightly left to a state board that names historic highways.

One of Marion Barry’s first acts as mayor was to kill the zoning plan his predecessor had put in motion. The first mayor of Washington DC under home rule, Walter Washington oversaw the plans for the city’s subway system (The Metro). He fiercely insisted that the zoning around most stops be adjusted to bring about a mix of residential, retail and office space to use the Metro to help establish distinct neighborhoods. Barry correctly inferred that this kind of renewal would bring more middle-class and upper middle class residents back to DC and those people were not his base.

The large developers also hated the plan because it restricted construction of (then lucrative) office space along K St. Barry got campaign cash from that sector and a promise that low income housing would be built in the city’s poorest ward as soon as “suitable sites became available.” Barry then announced that he had shaken down The Man on behalf of the the disadvantage black underclass in his first days in office.

Oddly enough, those “suitable sites” never became available. DC remained heavily poor and over 2/3 black for the remainder of Barry’s first 12 year stretch as mayor. But now those “suitable sites” have indeed become available but not for pubic housing.

Prominent Democrats such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Sen. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, and Rep. Ro Khanna of California have embraced initiatives to increase taxes on the wealthiest Americans, Axios reported.

But moderates in the Democratic Party have argued such taxes are anti-business, legally unfeasible, and too often pitched as addressing wealth inequality rather than using the revenue to expand benefits.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has repeatedly pushed back on wealth tax proposals in his state.

Progressives, including Khanna, have called on Newsom to support legislation for a one-time tax on Californians who earn more than $1 billion. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., a possible 2028 rival to Newsom, was in Los Angeles on Saturday to express support for the tax.

Naturally, Fonda would paint a dire picture of the state of democracy in America, but her evidence consisted of defeats for liberal budget priorities and false narratives about the erasing of history. Nevertheless, Fonda would also suggest that the state of democracy is so perilous that things are currently worse than they were in the Jim Crow days because now everybody is affected.

Psaki led Fonda by misusing the word “all” when she invited her to promote the cause, “I watched your event today. We all watched your event today. And I should note for the audience, you were in Washington, D.C. today speaking outside the Kennedy Center for an event—that’s what I’m referring to—in defense of free expression. So tell us about the event and the message you were really trying to get across to people watching.”

I suggest that Hanoi Jane is worse than Benedict Arnold. Arnold was at least a patriot before he switched sides.

A loophole that allows supercar and luxury car owners to register their vehicles in Montana to save on taxes could be endangered because of a new bill in the California legislature.

The workaround costs the Golden State some $20 million a year in lost tax revenue, according to the bill’s sponsor, Jerry McNerney, a Democrat from Pleasanton. Montana has no car registration fees or state sales tax, allowing car buyers to set up shell companies to register cars there and avoid taxes in their home states. The loophole is well-known among car collectors, which is the reason why one often sees Big Sky Country license plates on cars at shows in many places that aren’t Montana.

“The Montana Loophole is widening, with increasing numbers of tax evaders creating bogus shell companies so they can avoid paying sales taxes on Ferraris, Porsches, and pricey RVs, costing California tens of millions in revenue,” McNerney said in a statement.

I like Steve Jobs’ trick fo buying a new car, driving it with the temporary tag until that expired, and then trading it in on a new car, rinse, repeat. A very good way for a billionaire to preserve his anonymity.

McNerney’s bill would target the shell companies used to facilitate the Montana registrations. “SB 1406 would close the Montana Loophole by expanding California’s definition of who is a resident under state use tax law to include a shell company when at least one member of the business is a California resident. SB 1406 would also authorize CDTFA to impose tax liability on the individual members of a shell company,” according to a press release.

So you back up one—the shell company that owns the car is in turn owned by a shell company that doesn’t own a car but is owned by a California resident. Then the use tax law applies to the near shell company but not to the far shell company that has no California resident owners.

No Democrat drone legislator is as clever as a billionaire-employed lawyer. I guarantee it. Certainly not Jerry McNerny.

I’ll settle on “shameless Orwellian gaslighting,” because supporting the Virginia redistricting push in the name of “fairness” involves redefining basic words in the same manner as the oppressive government in George Orwell’s “1984,” and this rhetorical strategy seems designed to make people with rational concerns about the ballot initiative question their sanity.

This particular shameless Orwellian gaslighting comes from America’s 44th president, Barack Hussein Obama.

On Tuesday, the University of Southern California canceled its scheduled gubernatorial debate after several top Democrats reportedly waged a pressure campaign to put a halt to it.

The field is currently wide open with Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom being term-limited out of office. One would think that would be a reason to give voters a chance to learn about the policies of the new candidates, a mix of Republicans and Democrats competing in the state’s “jungle” primary that lumps the parties together.

Nope.

You see, the leading candidates set to appear on stage had a BIG problem. They were all WHITE. None of the non-white candidates crossed the polling and fundraising thresholds set ahead of time by USC.

The House Ethics Committee held their scheduled adjudicatory hearing, more commonly referred to as a “trial”, against Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL). Sadly, none of the main broadcast network newscasts saw fit to carry the story.

The networks continue their ongoing blackout of this story. Not a second of it aired on ABC, CBS or ABC’s evening newscasts. This major omission joins their omission of the IOC’s ban on “trans women” during the 2028 Games and onward thereafter.

The PBS item is not perfect, though. Viewers never once heard any detail of the egregious charges filed against Cherfilus-McCormick.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and progressive House lawmakers on Thursday unveiled a proposal to impose new annual taxes on the nation’s wealthiest households, arguing it would address inequality and generate significant federal revenue.

The Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act of 2026, introduced alongside Reps. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., and Brendan Boyle, D-Pa., would apply a 2% annual tax on household net worth above $50 million and a 3% rate on wealth exceeding $1 billion.

The plan targets roughly 260,000 households, or about the top 0.15% of Americans, while leaving taxes unchanged for most taxpayers.

Democrats never saw a pocket that they didn’t want to pick.

Lawmakers backing the bill said the current tax system does not fully capture wealth held by the ultra-rich, allowing some high-wealth individuals to pay lower effective rates relative to their assets than middle- and working-class families.

Nowhere, of course, do they explain why it’s so important to ‘fully capture wealth held by the ultra-rich’; they just presume that their audience is as consumed by envy as they are. If the rich pay lower effective rates, that’s what the law allows them to do; rather than change the law to make things more ‘fair’ (which they can’t be bothered to do), the just want to do a snatch-and-grab on ‘wealth’ that represents investment that drives the economy. A classic case of killing the goose that lays the golden eggs.

According to a newly declassified intelligence report, U.S. intelligence agencies intercepted communications from Ukrainian government officials back in 2022 discussing a scheme to siphon off hundreds of millions in American taxpayer dollars. There was once upon a time when the news media pretended to care about congressional ethics, and made an effort to cover alleged violations of the public trust. Nowadays, the Elitist Media appear to deploy an obvious double standard when covering these.

Consider the case of Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-Mccormick (D-FL). McCormick has been indicted by a federal grand jury on multiple charges related to the alleged theft of FEMA funds. The sole evening newscast item on her charges came last fall, a quick brief on the NBC Nightly News.

There has been no coverage on the evening news or anywhere else since, and the House Ethics Committee is set to hold a public hearing tomorrow.

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel has a Hollywood elitist problem. In his Tuesday monologue, Kimmel discussed the news that Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin has become the new Secretary of Homeland Security, but according to Kimmel, Mullin is not qualified for the job because in his pre-congressional life, he was a plumber.

Kimmel began with what has become common for the late night comedians: a jab at Mullin’s name, “Trump’s got a whole new generation of thinkers lined up, including his newly confirmed secretary of Homeland Security, Markwayne ‘Chuck Mike Bruce Dave’ Melon—Mullin. Maybe melon’s better. He’s the now former senator of Oklahoma. Before he was elected to the Senate, Markwayne Mullin was a low-level MMA fighter and a plumber.”

What was Kimmel before he became a late-night propagandist? Oh, that’s right: a comedian. Nevcr did anything constructive, Never did anything challenging. Never got elected to anything. Pretty much a drone.

The district attorney in Philadelphia threatened to arrest Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers patrolling the city’s international airport.

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner issued the warning Tuesday at Philadelphia International Airport, where ICE agents have been deployed to assist amid Transportation Security Administration staffing shortages tied to the ongoing Department of Homeland Security shutdown.

“This is how it works,” Krasner said at a press conference. “You commit crimes within the jurisdiction that is the city and county of Philadelphia, I prosecute you.”

Good luck with that. The FBI is going to have a fun time packing the Supremacy Clause up your pooper.

Mobile billboards are being deployed Tuesday morning at the three Washington, D.C.-area airports amid the Department of Homeland Security shutdown that has led to long security lines at airports across the nation.

“You’re waiting in line because millions skipped it. Tell Chuck Schumer: Fund DHS,” the billboard reads, referring to the millions of illegal aliens that Customs and Border Protection reports entered the United States during the Biden administration. Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., is the Senate Minority Leader.

The billboard includes a number and a QR code to call Schumer’s office.

By many measures, California is the center of the Democratic Party’s political universe. The most populous U.S. state, it is home to both the party’s last presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, and possibly its future one, Gov. Gavin Newsom.

But thanks to the state’s quirky electoral system and a crowded field of candidates, Democrats are suddenly facing an unlikely but unpleasant possibility: getting locked out of the general election this fall to succeed Newsom, who is not permitted to run for a third term.

Under California law, the top two finishers in the June 2 open primary contest will advance to November’s election, regardless of party.

Polls show the two leading Republican candidates, former British government aide and Fox News host Steve Hilton and Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, are closely bunched with three Democrats: U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell, former U.S. Representative Katie Porter and billionaire activist Tom Steyer.

Michigan’s Democrat attorney general cited the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “hate map” when announcing a “hate-crimes unit” in 2019, and after one of the conservative groups on the map sued, the AG’s office won’t say whether it will refuse to cite the SPLC in the future.

The American Freedom Law Center, a Judeo-Christian public interest law firm that the SPLC calls an “anti-Muslim hate group” because it warns against radical Islam, sued Michigan AG Dana Nessel and Agustin Arbulu, then-director of the state’s Department of Civil Rights. Nessel and Arbulu had issued a press release in February 2019, citing the SPLC map. Nessel said she was “establishing a hate-crimes unit” in order “to fight against hate crimes and the many hate groups which have been allowed to proliferate in our state.”

After a lengthy court delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a district court granted Nessel’s motion for summary judgment, ruling against the American Freedom Law Center in August. The court ruled that the center lacked standing to bring the suit because it could not demonstrate concrete harm from the government, citing the SPLC accusation. AFLC appealed, and the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals heard the case on Thursday.

Across the nation, states are raising their gas taxes. Leading the way, California now has a 70.9-cent per-gallon state excise tax.

The Tax Foundation says the “gas tax is meant to function as a user fee, charging drivers to fund the construction and maintenance of the roads they use.”

States apply tax gas in a variety of ways; most add tax at the pump, some charge sales taxes on fuel suppliers, and others tack on extra fees like “underground storage tank fees.”

All of these charges add differently, which is why gas taxes—and gas prices—can look very different from one state to another.

Zohran Mamdani campaigned on a promise to “shift the tax burden from overtaxed homeowners in the outer boroughs to more expensive homes in richer and whiter neighborhoods”. His tenant official Cea Weaver tweeted that she wanted to “impoverish the *white* middle class” because “homeownership is racist”, declared that “private property is a weapon of white supremacy” and warned that, “we’ll transition from treating property as an individual good to a collective good. Whites especially will be impacted.”

Now Mamdani has shown the first sign of implementing these systemically racist proposals.

Hidden at the bottom of the first page of his proposals to increase revenue through various gimmicks and taxes is a call to increase the estate tax “by lowering the exemption to $750,000 from its current value of $7.1 million” and massively raising the “top rate from 16% to 50%.”

Why specifically $750,000? Why is that the magic number? The proposal doesn’t explain but the demographics do: New York is already one of the few states with its own estate tax. Mamdani’s proposed changes to the state estate tax would make it the state that taxes middle class homeowners the hardest.
