The Justice Department has axed New York’s most lenient immigration court judge, The Post has learned.

Judge Vivienne Gordon-Uruakpa, who ruled in favor of asylum claimants 97% of the time — more than any of her colleagues in the state – was terminated without public notice back in September because of her prolific record of asylum rulings, according to a government official.

Gordon-Uruakpa no longer appears on the web site of the downtown Manhattan courthouse where she used to serve.

She is, of course, a Female Of Color.

For decades, Germany operated its rail system on an honor model. There were no turnstiles, no barriers. Passengers bought tickets, boarded trains, and conductors performed random spot checks to make sure everyone had paid.

It was a system built on trust— and for a long time, it worked, because Germany was a fundamentally law-abiding society.

That system has been fraying over the last several years as Germany aggressively imported millions of migrants who don’t respect the law.

The most egregious example took place earlier this month, when a train conductor asked a passenger— a 26-year old migrant— for his ticket.

Not only did the passenger not have a ticket, but he beat the conductor so severely that the man died of his injuries the next morning.

The government’s response is extraordinary.

Rather than establish law and order and rain holy hell upon the criminals, Deutsche Bahn— which is owned by the German government— has told conductors to NOT approach passengers who present a “high risk of escalation.”

In short, the new policy is— if someone looks dangerous, don’t bother checking their ticket.

An 18-year-old man was stabbed to death outside a mosque in Smethwick, near Birmingham, on Friday night, and two others were injured, police said, as officers launched a murder investigation.

Emergency services were called to Jamia Masjid on Oldbury Road shortly before 9 p.m. following reports of disorder outside the building. The teenager was found with serious stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men, aged 19 and 22, were taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

A Canadian “human rights” tribunal just exposed the Orwellian strategy of the transgender movement—it seeks to weaponize “empathy” to demand allegiance to the absurd and dangerous idea that men can become women and vice versa.

Barry Neufeld, a brave school board member in the city of Chilliwack, British Columbia, dared to speak out against a school program encouraging sexual orientation and gender identity called SOGI 1 2 3.

Two teachers unions, the British Columbia Teachers Federation and the Chilliwack Teachers Association, sued Neufeld on behalf of members who identify as two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer for statements he made from 2017 to 2022.

The British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal found Neufeld liable for “hate speech” and discrimination in a ruling Wednesday. The tribunal ordered him to pay 750,000 Canadian dollars for violating the Human Rights Code, and it ordered him to pay another CA$10,000 in damages for violating the tribunal’s rules during the proceeding against him.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s newly appointed cabinet secretary, Dame Antonia Romeo, is facing mounting criticism following reports that she pushed civil servants to join a “gender non-conforming book club” and devote substantial work time to diversity initiatives.

The allegations date back to her tenure as head of the Department for International Trade (DIT) between 2017 and 2021. Documents cited by The Telegraph suggest one employee was instructed to spend up to 20% of their working hours on “inclusivity” goals. These reportedly included promoting non-binary identities, encouraging colleagues to display preferred pronouns in email signatures, celebrating “non-binary awareness week,” and recruiting non-binary staff.

Joining a “gender non-conforming book club”—where officials read novels centred on intersex and transgender themes—was allegedly written into performance targets that influenced career progression.

Helping lead the charge is the Freedom Foundation, which helps educators reclaim their paychecks from politically driven union agendas. This year, the group plans to help 60,000 workers leave unions and push legislation in multiple states to curb taxpayer funding for unions.

The Freedom Foundation plans to introduce legislation in Idaho, Florida, Oklahoma, and South Dakota, removing or limiting taxpayer support for unions. This bill would cost unions hundreds of millions of dollars.

Twelve Democrats plan to skip President Donald Trump’s Feb. 24 State of the Union address to attend a left-wing activist event titled the “People’s State of the Union” instead.

The event, hosted by progressive political advocacy group MoveOn and left-wing media outlet MeidasTouch, will be held on the National Mall during Trump’s State of the Union address as a form of protesting the Trump administration, according to a MoveOn press release.

“We cannot give Trump the attention he wants, or validate his lies to the American people,” MoveOn states on a flyer for the event. “We cannot treat this SOTU as business as usual.”

The event, hosted by former MSNBC anchors Joy Reid and Katie Phang, will feature people “impacted” by Trump, including Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn.; Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass.; Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore.; Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md.; and the chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Rep. Greg Casar, D-Texas.

“Democrats have no obligation to reward him with an audience as he lies and attacks people who disagree with him,” Murphy wrote in MoveOn’s press release.

A sergeant and an officer in Detroit have been suspended by the city Board of Police Commissioners after they contacted U.S. Border Patrol during separate traffic stops, according to MLive.

The board voted 10-0, approving Police Chief Todd Bettison’s recommendation to place Sgt. Denise Wallet and Officer James Corsi on administrative leave for 30 days.

Both will be suspended without pay for 30 days, MLive reported.

Last December, Corsi contacted Border Patrol during a traffic stop, and earlier this month Wallet called federal agents for translation assistance instead of using the department’s 24-hour contracted language line, MLive reported, citing department officials.

In both cases, civilians involved in the stops were detained by federal agents, according to MLive.

A lawyer picked by judges to serve as the top federal prosecutor for a Virginia office that pursued cases against foes of President Donald Trump was swiftly fired Friday by the Justice Department in the latest clash over the appointments of powerful U.S. attorneys.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced the firing of James Hundley on social media shortly after he was unanimously chosen by judges to replace former Trump lawyer Lindsey Halligan as U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. While the law says that the district court may choose U.S. attorneys when an initial appointment expires, the Trump administration has insisted that the power lies only in the hands of the executive branch.

“EDVA judges do not pick our US Attorney. POTUS does. James Hundley, you’re fired!” Blanche said in a post on X.

“That’s a city budget bigger than the state budgets of 47 states. Even the state government of Florida (population 23 million) spends less than New York City’s,” explains The Washington Post editorial board. “And the state still managed to attract hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers in recent years.”

It has been previously documented by NewsBusters that in June 2018 Nielsen forthrightly announced that those who crossed the border illegally would be detained and separated from their children, but Soboroff prefers to harp on one of her answers to a question to portray her as dishonest.

Judging by Mamdani’s first budget proposal, however, they are about to experience ideologically driven mismanagement firsthand.

After promising an explosion of new spending on free buses, free child care, and lower rents, Mamdani unveiled his first budget this week, which is a $127 billion plan for a city of 8.5 million people. To put that in perspective, the state of Florida has a population almost three times that of New York City, 23 million, and manages to provide government services for $10 billion less, $117 billion, than the Big Apple does.

A former commander who carried out counter-insurgency operations in Northern Ireland, led British forces in Afghanistan, and held intelligence roles in Westminster, Kemp says Islamic immigrants’ refusal to integrate into British society means that things in the U.K. are “getting bad” and about to “get worse.” Among other provocative comments that will no doubt ruffle the feathers of Britain’s “ruling class,” Kemp notes, “There were more British Muslims with the Taliban than in the British Army.”

The combat veteran argues that Britain’s political class has failed citizens by putting them in harm’s way and is simultaneously incapable of mitigating its failures due to suffocating concerns for what can be said out loud. “No government,” Kemp argues, “has the guts to stop…the Islamification of the U.K.” Consequently, ordinary Brits now need to prepare for the likelihood of “civil war in Europe.” Describing the looming conflict in the U.K. as a far more serious and deadly situation than what gripped Northern Ireland for decades, Kemp predicts that the coming civil war will involve “indigenous British and some of the immigrant population and the British government all on three different sides fighting against each other.”

Legendary and liberal director Steven Spielberg has moved from California to Manhattan as some of the state’s wealthiest residents weigh leaving the Golden State ahead of a controversial wealth tax targeting billionaires that voters are set to consider.

The proposed 2026 Billionaire Tax Act, sponsored by the healthcare union Service Employees International Union-United Healthcare Workers West, would impose a one-time levy on California residents worth more than $1 billion, taxing the equivalent of 5% of their assets.

Supporters say it could generate about $100 billion in revenue for the state.

Spielberg spokeswoman Terry Press insisted that the move is not related to the tax, but had been “both long-planned and driven purely by his and [wife] Kate Capshaw’s desire to be closer to their New York-based children and grandchildren,” The New York Post reported Friday.

Press did not respond to questions about Spielberg’s views on the proposed tax.

Federal officials are investigating Portland Public Schools in Oregon for alleged racial discrimination in the district’s Center for Black Student Excellence (CBSE) program, the U.S. Department of Education stated on Feb. 17.

Democrats have caused a shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) by filibustering a bill to continue funding it – unless the funding bill contains provisions crippling and endangering U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents working to enforce federal immigration law.

Democrats are demanding that the funding bill not only provide funding, but also prohibit ICE agents from wearing masks and require them to wear IDs on their uniforms, which would enable violent, pro-illegal immigration activists to identify and target them.

The View kicked off the show by talking about the Epstein files, particularly the arrest of Prince Andrew for allegedly sharing confidential files with Epstein. But it was Behar who wanted to get back to clearing their names.

Stephen Colbert is getting the Jimmy Kimmel Free Speech Hero award this week on the leftist cable networks for his stunt putting an interview with Texas state Rep. James Talarico on YouTube instead of CBS. He claimed CBS banned him from putting Talarico on air. Then CBS put out a statement implying Colbert was lying, that they only offered “guidance” about how to fulfill equal-time requirements that might be enforced.

On Tuesday’s The Lead with Jake Tapper, former New York Times reporter Bill Carter and former National Review writer Jonah Goldberg both lined up like good liberals for the Colbert Publicity Train. Tapper tried to glide past Colbert’s claims on “how aggressively they gave that guidance,” but Carter lectured it just had to be Fear of Trump driving everything.

With the passing of The Rev. Jesse Jackson comes the media coverage that would be expected for a man of his stature, complete with documentation of his history, analysis of achievements, and tributes from those who knew him. On Tuesday CNN’s Inside Politics provided all of the above, but they failed to mention a major controversy from 1984 when Jackson was running for President, and they managed to attack President Trump for good measure.

During his 1984 campaign Jackson, speaking to a reporter, referred to New York as “Hymietown,” and to Jews as “hymies.” He first denied making the derogatory remarks, but later fessed up at a New York synagogue. At the time this was quite a significant story, but it wasn’t mentioned in host Dana Bash’s review of Jackson’s life and legacy, Nor was it mentioned by Atlanta Journal Constitution writer Tia Mitchell, who alluded to Jackson’s runs for President, and how he was hailed by her family.

I doubt that they mentioned his multi-decade race-hustle shakedown operation against American businesses.

On Monday night’s 11th Hour, guest hosted by Symone Sanders, Sanders and MS NOW contributor Jason Johnson reminisced the good days of the Obama presidency in response to Obama’s appearance on a progressive podcast.
