The elite aren’t stupid. They can see that our society is coming apart at the seams all around us, and so they want to live some place safe. In fact, for many among the elite security has become the number one priority when choosing a new home. Unfortunately, the vast majority of us do not have the resources to move into high security communities guarded by teams of armed professionals. When things really start hitting the fan, most Americans are just going to have to deal with the chaos that is suddenly erupting all around them.

On Tuesday, the far-left podcast I’ve Had It — hosted by vile white female pundits Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan — illustrated why it personifies the hate-filled miserable liberal base by tag-teaming with twice-failed former MSNBC host Joy Reid to hurl bile at our friend Scott Jennings and accuse the wider Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement of being a terrorist organization willing to “commit jihad” for “proto-fascist” President Trump.
Welch brought up Jennings just past the nine-and-a-half-minute mark and said he’s someone who gets on Reid’s nerves. Reid began by alluding to a recent appearance on her own show by CNN NewsNight host Abby Phillip — who owes her employment status to Jennings — and whining Jennings possesses “a disingenuousness to a lot of Republicanism.”

According to information gathered by a conservative non-profit called Defending Education, the NEA’s upcoming training at an undisclosed location this December doesn’t focus on academics, but on attacking Republicans as “racist and transphobic,” pushing race-class-gender narratives, and promoting gender-transition guides for staff.
The training is targeted for union staff and teams as part of the NEA UniServ and Organizing Training Program 2025–2026.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar addressed the Paraguayan Parliament on Monday, warning that Venezuela’s socialist government has become a primary hub for Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis in South America, Breitbart reported Tuesday.
Speaking before Paraguay’s Congress, Sa’ar said the Maduro regime enables these groups to operate throughout the region and has transformed Venezuela into a central base for expanding drug trafficking and international terrorist networks.
“In South America, criminals are forming narco-terrorism alliances with the Middle East. The hub of this network is Venezuela,” Sa’ar reportedly said, adding that President Nicolás Maduro has “destabilized the region by causing a refugee crisis and is the basis for Hezbollah’s terrorist operations.”

A former Antifa foot soldier has ripped the mask off the far-left’s violent underbelly, revealing how the self-styled “anti-fascists” weaponise slurs not to fight tyranny, but to justify murder—labelling foes “fascists” as a license to “dehumanise” and assault them without remorse.
The interview from Steven Edginton’s documentary “‘They’re Getting Ready for War’: Ex-Antifa Reveals Inside the Far-Left,” lays bare Antifa’s radicalisation pipeline: a toxic brew of bullying, arming up, and ISIS-style self-justification that’s morphed from street theater to outright terror prep.
‘Andrew’, who ditched the extremist group after witnessing their descent into “self-radicalisation,” outlined the fascist slur’s lethal intent: “They don’t kill you because you’re a fascist, they call you a fascist so they can kill you.”

Founder and executive director of energy group Power the Future Daniel Turner told The Center Square: “Secretary [Kristi] Noem and the Trump Administration are working tirelessly to keep America safe, and we urge them to take a hard look at whether agitators like Thunberg should be allowed onto American soil.”
Power the Future is a nonprofit dedicated to Americans working in reliable energy sources and sent the letter concerning Thunberg’s entry to the United States.
Turner told The Center Square that “everywhere Greta Thunberg goes, chaos follows.”
“We have enough internal instability from the climate movement without importing foreign extremists who are further committed to unrest,” Turner said.

In August, a jury took only four hours to review copious evidence to find Abdifatah Yusuf guilty of fraud. He owned and operated a number of non-existent medical care providers operating out of a single mailbox to steal $7.2 million from public finds. Even AG Keith Ellison praised this conviction.
However, this month, Hennepin county trial judge Sarah West has ruled that the conviction cannot stand because it was really just circumstantial evidence. The state failed to rule out “other reasonable inferences.” The mind boggles. What other, innocent explanation is possible from these facts?
Our new Somali friends (Remember: Diversity Is Our Strength!!) have probably looted a billion dollars from Minnesota welfare and health programs, even diverting funds to Somali terrorist groups along with conspicuous instances of exorbitant personal spending (as in the case of Abdifatah Yusuf) but the important thing is that we don’t judge and keep searching for a positive interpretation of the facts.

Less than fifteen years ago, Harvard economist Edward Glaeser’s book, The Triumph of the City, argued that face-to-face communications were sill vital for finance and other industries, which was why dense cities and dense downtowns were still important. At the time, I wrote what was probably the most critical review of this book because it failed to recognize that continuing improvements in telecommunications (such as FaceTime) and transportation (such as interstate freeways) were making face-to-face meetings less relevant all the time.
Now, a recent article in the Economist observes that the share of New York City workers employed in the finance and insurance industry has fallen from 11.5 percent in 1990 to 7.7 percent in 2025. Although JPMorgan Chase occupies one of the two Midtown office towers taller than the Empire State Building, that bank has more employees in Texas than in New York.
Among the major reasons for this decline, argues the Economist, are high costs, high taxes, and increased government regulation. But if density were really an essential prerequisite for the success of the finance industry, it would overcome those obstacles. The reality is that the need for density has been declining since the development of electricity, telephones, and affordable automobiles, and new technologies since then, including microcomputers, Zoom calls, and autonomous vehicles, have simply continued this trend.

Nearly a year after LA’s worst wildfires, we’re closer than ever to knowing what happened. And the answers were DEI, a small weed and fish. And an obsessive hatred for Ronald Reagan.
The roots of the environmentalist insanity that killed a dozen people and destroyed over 5,000 buildings actually go back a generation to the construction of the Reagan Library in Simi Valley. While RDS or Reagan Derangement Syndrome has become a distant memory, it was burning fiercely back then and the construction of the library seemed to be adding insult to injury..
Leftists looking for some way to block the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library seized on the presence of any plants in the area that they could brand as endangered including Lyon’s pentachaeta, a tiny daisy, and a weed, and a variety of milk vetch, an otherwise unremarkable plant that has a short life and tends to sprout after wildfires. The Reagan library was forced to agree to transplant the weeds, which didn’t work, but ate up time and money at the library.
The construction of the Reagan library went on in spite of the environmental obstructionism, but the campaign succeeded in listing the tiny daisy as an endangered species and began listing some milk vetches as endangered, crippling future developments and fire clearing projects.

Mady sparked a walkout of Muslim attendees at an interfaith religious event after objecting to the fact that he was seated next to Ilya Bratman, an adjunct lecturer and Executive Director of Hillel at Baruch College, launching into an anti-Semitic diatribe.
“I came here to this event not knowing I would be sitting next to a Zionist and this is something I am not going to accept. My people are being killed right now in Gaza. If you’re a Muslim, out of strength and dignity, I ask you to exit this room immediately.”
Notably, 100 students joined him in the protest by walking out.

Thousands of Hezbollah supporters in Beirut’s southern suburbs chanted slogans against Israel and the U.S. on Monday at the funeral of the terrorist group’s military chief Haytham Ali Tabatabai, who was assassinated by Israel on Sunday in a targeted strike.

The crowd threatened Israel and the United States while carrying portraits of Hezbollah leaders and the Islamic Republic of Iran’s leader, Ali Khamenei. The ayatollah regime is Hezbollah’s main financial and military backer.

Democrats whipped themselves into a frenzy trying to manufacture a “gotcha” moment for President Trump and the GOP over the Epstein files.
According to Bloomberg data, the headline count in MSM for “Epstein” erupted on the day when President Trump signed a spending bill to reopen the federal government after Democrats caved. This was nothing more than a headline deflection by Democrats.
But in recent days, the Epstein story count in MSM has fallen off a cliff. You don’t hear much from the Democrats who chanted “release the files” every day …

Last week on November 17, 26-year-old Bethany MaGee was randomly attacked and set on fire while riding a Chicago commuter train, leaving her with life-threatening injuries. A suspect was apprehended hours later and has an unfathomable 72 prior arrests, but was still allowed to roam the streets in a Democrat-run city defended by the left as anything but a criminal hotbed.
Given this incident underscores the urgency shown by President Trump to address crime in major U.S. cities, the liberal elites at CBS and NBC have omitted this story from their flagship morning and evening newscasts.
ABC wasn’t much better with only one full, 79-second segment back on the November 19 World News Tonight. The UK Covid-19 Inquiry has finally released the core political chapters of its long-awaited report. After nearly three years of hearings, millions of documents, and tens of millions of pounds spent on legal fees, the conclusion is now unmistakably clear.
They’ve learned nothing, as I detail in my latest research.
Worse, they may not want to learn.
The Inquiry’s structure, its analytical frame, even its carefully curated narrative all point in the same direction: away from the possibility that Britain’s pandemic response was fundamentally misguided, and toward the politically safer claim that ministers simply “acted too late.”

Many organizations and federal agencies involved in censoring Americans under the guise of mis/disinformation have shut down in the last couple years. Racket’s Twitter Files exposed the level of censorship slime oozing from organizations such as the Stanford Internet Observatory, the Election Integrity Project, and the Virality Project. On the government side of things, there was the Global Engagement Center, the Foreign Influence Task Force, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), which still exists but is no longer involved in mis/disnfo work.
That’s not to say America is perfect when it comes to free speech, but as Sen. Rand Paul said in September, “throughout government, the censorship apparatus that Biden had put in place is gone.”
However, if you look to Germany, the strongest economic power in the European Union, it’s easy to see where America was going. It has about 330 organizations working with federal and state levels of government to suppress speech and about 425 grants — mostly from the government — that fund this work, according to research from liber-net, a free speech group that tracks censorship.

“Big Brother is watching you.”
These chilling words from George Orwell’s dystopian masterpiece, 1984, no longer read as fiction but are becoming a bleak reality in the UK and Canada—where digital dystopian measures are unravelling the fabric of freedom in two of the West’s oldest democracies.
Under the guise of safety and innovation, the UK and Canada are deploying invasive tools that undermine privacy, stifle free expression, and foster a culture of self-censorship. Both nations are exporting their digital control frameworks through the Five Eyes alliance, a covert intelligence-sharing network uniting the UK, Canada, US, Australia, and New Zealand, established during the Cold War.
Simultaneously, their alignment with the United Nations’ Agenda 2030, particularly Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16.9—which mandates universal legal identity by 2030—supports a global policy for digital IDs, such as the UK’s proposed Brit Card and Canada’s Digital Identity Program, which funnel personal data into centralized systems under the pretext of “efficiency and inclusion.” By championing expansive digital regulations, such as the UK’s Online Safety Act and Canada’s pending Bill C-8, which prioritize state-defined “safety” over individual liberties, both nations are not just embracing digital authoritarianism—they’re accelerating the West’s descent into it.

Many children from low-income backgrounds worldwide fail to master school mathematics1; however, some children extensively use mental arithmetic outside school2,3. Here we surveyed children in Kolkata and Delhi, India, who work in markets (n?=?1,436), to investigate whether maths skills acquired in real-world settings transfer to the classroom and vice versa. Nearly all these children used complex arithmetic calculations effectively at work. They were also proficient in solving hypothetical market maths problems and verbal maths problems that were anchored to concrete contexts. However, they were unable to solve arithmetic problems of equal or lesser complexity when presented in the abstract format typically used in school. The children’s performance in market maths problems was not explained by memorization, access to help, reduced stress with more familiar formats or high incentives for correct performance. By contrast, children with no market-selling experience (n?=?471), enrolled in nearby schools, showed the opposite pattern. These children performed more accurately on simple abstract problems, but only 1% could correctly answer an applied market maths problem that more than one third of working children solved (??=?0.35, s.e.m.?=?0.03; 95% confidence interval?=?0.30–0.40, P?<?0.001). School children used highly inefficient written calculations, could not combine different operations and arrived at answers too slowly to be useful in real-life or in higher maths. These findings highlight the importance of educational curricula that bridge the gap between intuitive and formal maths.

For months, District Court Chief Judge James Boasberg has been very much in the news.
This spring, he issued a 46-page decision finding that the Trump administration may be in contempt of court for violating his order to return flights of deportees being sent to El Salvador.
In that ruling, Boasberg insisted that it was essential for him to know the facts on whether “officials of a coordinate branch” had undermined judicial integrity.
After all, nothing short of the separation of powers was at stake. This week, Boasberg announced that he was moving forward without further delay to ferret out who was responsible for the alleged violation.
That message, however, has now been undermined by another Judge James Boasberg, who is in the news this week as part of the controversy over the Justice Department’s acquisition of telephone records of leading Republican members of Congress.
Boasberg had imposed a gag order on telephone companies to prevent them from informing Congress that the executive branch was snooping on who had been in contact with them.
These two James Boasbergs seem as different as the two Jeffrey Epsteins referenced this week by Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) — one a presumably respectable medical doctor, the other a deceased sex offender. However, to use Crockett’s formulation, it was indeed “that James Boasberg” in both cases.

South Africa is back in the news yet again, and facing embarrassment yet again. South Africa’s far-left government was hoping that the G20 Summit held this week in Johannesburg would elevate the country’s global position and garner them international attention (and funding). It is the first time in history that the G20 has been held in South Africa.
However, the Trump Administration has made it clear that the South African event is a nothing-burger and the real G20 will be held in the US (in Florida) in 2026. The meeting was not only snubbed by Trump; China, Russia, Argentina, Mexico and Indonesia did not send representatives either, likely because the summit had no momentum without US participation.
Confusion arose when SA President Cyril Ramaphosa spread rumors that the US was actually participating in the talks, leading the media to suggest Trump had flip-flopped.
But he lied. As he does.

Derek Chauvin’s defense attorneys have filed a new petition that challenges the 2021 murder conviction that sent Chauvin to prison over George Floyd’s death. The petition includes over 50 former and current MPD officers who made sworn declarations that the technique Chauvin used to restrain George Floyd was part of the official training they received.
The 71-page petition was sent to Hennepin County District Court, where Attorney Greg Joseph stated that “this case simply never made sense.” The petition asserts that the case involves two key issues: intent and causation. Did the restraint of Floyd follow policies and procedures of the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD); and, did the restraint cause Floyd’s death
In each case, the evidence is thin. Yet, prosecutors achieved a conviction which many critics argue was pure theater – The human sacrifice of Derek Chauvin on the altar of race politics as a means to justify the mob violence of Black Lives Matter groups. The protests (and the hysteria over the pandemic), paid for with hundreds of millions of dollars in NGO funds, brought chaos in the middle of the US election process and Democrats took full advantage of.

Labour’s tax rises are forcing wealthy people to flee Britain, the Business Secretary has admitted.
Peter Kyle said he was not going to “duck the fact” that individuals of a high net worth had been driven out by Rachel Reeves’s tax raid on non-doms.
He also said entrepreneurs were abandoning Britain “in their droves” because they “haven’t had the funding to succeed”.
Labour has been accused of targeting wealthy people with tax rises while plotting £15bn of extra benefits spending in this week’s Budget.
On Monday, Mr Kyle was asked whether the Government was prepared to acknowledge that Labour’s tax decisions had led to people leaving the country.
He said: “I do. I’m not going to duck the fact that we have put up taxes, and we’ve closed some of the loopholes for non-doms.
“Some people are going to leave because they are here because of how the old non-dom system worked.”

We are far more likely to use our hands to type or swipe than pick up a pen. But in the process we are in danger of losing cognitive skills, sensory experience – and a connection to history.
Multiple studies have shown that if you write something by hand you remember it better than if you just type it.
Clarity in handwriting isn’t merely an aid to communication. In some significant way, writing by hand, unlike tracing a letter or typing it, primes the brain for learning to read. Psychologists Pam Mueller and Daniel Oppenheimer compared students taking class notes by hand or on a laptop computer to test whether the medium mattered for student performance. Earlier studies of laptop use in the classroom had focused on how distracting computer use was for students. Not surprisingly, the answer was very distracting, and not just for the notetaker but for nearby peers as well.
Mueller and Oppenheimer instead studied how laptop use affected the learning process for students who used them. They found that “even when laptops are used solely to take notes, they may still be impairing learning because their use results in shallower processing”. In three different experiments, their research concluded that students who used laptop computers performed worse on conceptual questions in comparison with students who took notes by hand. “Laptop note takers’ tendency to transcribe lectures verbatim rather than processing information and reframing it in their own words is detrimental to learning,” they wrote. In other words, we retain information better when we write by hand because the slower pace of writing forces us to summarise as we write, as opposed to the greater speed of transcribing on a keyboard.

Now, a study of IRS data by the National Taxpayers Union Foundation found that California is losing a taxpayer roughly every minute, as states like Florida, Texas, and North Carolina attract new residents due to lower taxes and higher standards of living.
The states losing taxpayers at the fastest rate are California, New York, and Illinois. Here is the rate of loss:
California: every 1 minute and 44 seconds
New York: every 2 minutes and 23 seconds
Illinois: every 6 minutes and 4 seconds.
Massachusetts: every 11 minutes and 38 seconds
New Jersey: every 14 minutes and 14 seconds.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) launched his bid for governor of California this week, and he wasted no time floating a plan that could reshape elections far beyond the state’s borders. He told CNN’s Elex Michaelson on Saturday that he wants Californians to vote by phone, a proposal that fits neatly with the left’s push to loosen every guardrail that keeps our elections secure.
“I want to modernize the state,” Swalwell told him. “And, you know, [Newsom] wrote a book called Citizenville, which I read when I was up and coming. He laid out a lot of, you know, great ideas then, and he implemented some of them. And he, you know, was a modernizing force. He’s leaving. And so there is going to be a void. I want us to be able to vote by phone.”
“Vote by phone?” Michaelson asked, clearly surprised by the idea.
“Vote by phone, yeah,” Swalwell confirmed. “If we can do our taxes, do our, you know, our — make our health care appointments, you know, make, essentially, your — do your banking online. You should be able to vote by phone. Make it safe, make it secure. But it’s actually already happening all over the United States.”
Not in any Red state, it’s not.
“Make it safe, Make it secure”? Democrats are fighting against making even voting in person safe and secure.
You’ll go to Hell for lyin’, boy.

Whether called homeschooling or DIY education, family-directed learning has been growing in popularity for years in the U.S. alongside disappointment in the rigidity, politicization, and flat-out poor results of traditional public schools. That growth was supercharged during the COVID-19 pandemic when extended closures and bumbled remote learning drove many families to experiment with teaching their own kids. The big question was whether the end of public health controls would also curtail interest in homeschooling. We know now that it didn’t. Americans’ taste for DIY education is on the rise.

How did we get Trump? This video shows some insight into one reason why Trump ran (love of country is the other reason) and why he is steamrolling over certain lefty Democrats. I never watch the correspondence suppers, my contempt for much of the media was already formed by the time this happened. I have heard funny clips from these dinners but not these clips. Perhaps the media didn’t want to showcase how intolerable their own kind were. Perhaps I wasn’t listening to Rush the day he played it, if he even knew about it.
I saw this clip for the first time this morning and so much more makes sense. The scorn they showed him, the utter lack of respect of him, the joy they had in mocking him in public, we can relate. That is the same scorn we Trump supporters have felt for over 10 years from both sides of the aisle. Heck, there are even a few on ricochet who could use a dose of self-reflection. I’m not referring to those who merely dislike Trump and offer polite disagreement, but to those whose posts and comments reek of the same insulting condescension as the people showcased in the video had. No, we don’t fall for the cowardly explanation that the insulting posts exist to teach us about Trump. Trump isn’t on ricochet so he won’t see them. Trump supporters on ricochet see them and are the target, well, not me anymore. Ignoring them works.
Thanks to ricochet’s moderation, posts here remain mostly civil, unlike the sewer that other social media sites have become. Insulting posts about Trump that push the limits of the CoC will probably continue but who is really the butt of the crude comments and jokes? Trump, his supporters, or the writers?
Watch the Whole Thing.

You know, we told the Iranians: “Jimmy Carter is going to go, and the moment he goes and you still have the hostages, you’re also going to have B-52s bombing and flattening the town of Qom,” which was the headquarters of the Ayatollah Khomeini.
Remember, Jimmy Carter is a catastrophic, catastrophic president because he was a pacifist. He didn’t have the sincerity to admit it, and therefore, the moment the United States was challenged, the United States could not respond because he was a pacifist. Even when he authorized the foolish and misbegotten rescue mission, his big assurances, his big emphasis talking to Colonel Beckwith, head of Delta Force, was, “Don’t kill Iranians. Whatever you do, don’t kill people.” So what the f*** are you going to do? But Carter was emphatic. Jimmy Carter, much celebrated on sentimental grounds, caused the half-century catastrophe of Iran all by itself because of his personal attitude.
Jimmy Carter—Worst. President. Ever.

n 2025, Hamas and Hezbollah flags became regular sights on Ivy League college campuses, a Muslim immigrant who embraced an unindicted coconspirator in bombing plots in New York City became its mayor, presidential envoys chatted with Hamas and an Al Qaeda leader who used to have a $10 million reward on his head visited the White House and met with the president.
The mainstreaming of Islamic terrorism didn’t happen overnight. A decade ago, the Obama administration backed the Al Qaeda militias that would eventually go on to take over Syria and first forced Israel to negotiate with Hamas after the kidnapping and murder of three teens.
What went on under the cover of plausible deniability a decade ago, where our government pretended we were backing the Free Syrian Army, a ‘democratic’ and ‘secular’ movement, (which critics like me pointed out was just Al-Qaeda in drag), or where our negotiators did not directly meet with Hamas, where anti-Israel campus groups claimed that they supported BDS rather than mass murder, and Muslim politicians denied they were terrorists, is out in the open.

We are rapidly approaching the first anniversary of the Los Angeles area wildfires that destroyed Pacific Palisades and Altadena.
As I reported recently, it appears that three-quarters of Pacific Palisades and two-thirds of Altadena residents remain in temporary housing. Court cases for compensation and identifying the causes and contributing factors are also continuing.
Now, attorneys for Palisades fire victims are moving to question Los Angeles firefighters under oath to explore claims that a California State Parks official limited how the department responded to an earlier blaze, which later reignited into the catastrophic firestorm that destroyed thousands of homes. This is in response to accusations that the official was concerned about…”native plant species“.

abortion. Pushing abortion pills after the repeal of Roe v. Wade is heroic in their eyes. On Wednesday’s PBS News Hour, health care reporter Sarah Varney spent almost ten minutes glamorizing an “underground network” of abortion pill distributors in pro-life states. It’s “underground” enough that PBS helpfully hid the identities of all their heroines, avoiding head shots and using aliases.
Transparency took a beating for these headless leftists, but the elitist media love the way it makes America look like a dangerously backward place.
Varney noted six out of ten abortions are now achieved with pills, which is why Varney is touting these brave pill-pushers. She started by attending a training session for doulas: “Their teacher, who goes by Ashaba (ph) to protect her identity, is part of an underground network. She helps people in states where abortion is illegal get access to abortion medication…. Ashaba says this word-of-mouth network stretches south from Illinois to Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana.” So she’s the Harriet Tubman of infanticide.
