It turns out that Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old assassin of Charlie Kirk, was not simply a leftist radical. He was also living with Lance Twiggs, a man in the process of ‘transitioning’ into a woman. The FBI says the two were romantically involved. It seems likely, then, that Robinson may have slain Charlie Kirk to avenge the honor of his transgender lover.
Both Robinson and Twiggs came from conservative families in Utah. They did not learn gender ideology there. They appear to have been radicalized online, which can be a sinkhole of unfathomable depravity. There is evidence that both young men were also involved in the “furry” world—a sexualized subculture of humans who wear animal costumes.
…
All transgenders are not murderers, but it is more than a little disturbing how many killers these days turn out to be trans. The female who massacred children at a Christian school in Nashville two years ago? Trans. The male who shot up a Catholic church in Minneapolis last month, killing two children at prayer? Trans. In Vermont, the trial of a trans person charged with murdering a U.S. Border Control agent in January has begun. Teresa Youngblut is part of the Zizians, a cult of trans people suspected in six serial killings across America.
In the past, the medical profession recognized gender dysphoria as a mental disorder, and recommended treatment. But over the last decade or so, under pressure from activists and their politician allies, transgenderism has become normalized, even valorized. Among the Zoomer generation—the same as Tyler Robinson and his lover—transgender identification has soared.

Minnesota’s feckless Democratic Gov. Tim Walz formally announced today that he’s running for a third term.
The Hill newspaper is out with a story that begins with a Walz quote,
I’ve always tried to do what’s right for Minnesota. And I’ll never stop fighting to protect us from the chaos, corruption, and cruelty coming out of Washington.
“Corruption”? The biggest feature of Walz’s tenure is the $1 billion of fraud verified committed against state government welfare programs. I suppose he could go for $2 billion in another term.

Oregon’s strategy for saving energy is doomed to failure, say comments on the draft strategy written by the Antiplanner. A key part of the strategy calls for prioritizing multimodal transportation over roads and promoting development patterns that make it easier to live without a car. This strategy has never worked, the comments point out, and if Oregon is going to have an energy strategy it should adopt one that will actually work rather than one that is designed to fail.

At least 13 people have been wounded, five critically, in two shootings that erupted over a span of 12 hours at homeless encampments in Minneapolis with the city’s mayor saying he wouldn’t be surprised if they are connected.
The shootings on Monday marked the fourth and fifth mass shootings to occur in Minneapolis in the past three weeks, including one on Aug. 27 at Annunciation Catholic School that left two children dead and 21 people injured.
“This is tragic. It’s horrible. It’s unacceptable, and, sadly, it’s not surprising,” Mayor Jacob Frey said at a news conference early Tuesday.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said the city’s latest mass shooting unfolded Monday night at a notorious homeless encampment in southeast Minneapolis, in which eight people were shot and an estimated 30 shots were fired.

The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression Free Speech Rankings crowned California’s Claremont McKenna College with a grade of B- as the best college in the U.S. for free speech, while a string of other California schools received F grades amid anti-free speech environments across campuses.
FIRE released its sixth annual College Free Speech Rankings, which pulled responses on free-speech topics from 68,510 students attending 257 American colleges. The survey highlighted a decline in support for free speech among all students.
Students on both sides of the political aisle are showing a deep “unwillingness” to face controversial ideas, the press releases stated.

Sweden’s government is considering tougher protest laws after pro-Palestinian demonstrators confronted ministers outside parliament last week.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said on Monday, “We cannot have all the world’s conflicts playing out on Swedish streets,” as Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer convened party leaders, police, and security officials to discuss the escalating incidents.
The flashpoint came when Defence Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin was followed from parliament by protesters shouting in what officials described as a threatening manner. Similar demonstrations in Gothenburg and Malmö have also targeted Jewish communities, which Kristersson labelled “completely unreasonable.”

A 23-year-old Syrian man attacked federal police officers at Dortmund’s main train station late on Saturday night, biting one officer in the finger and sending him to the hospital.
The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. when police noticed a dispute between the man and a taxi driver, reportedly triggered by the passenger taking a photo of the driver. When officers tried to intervene, the Syrian allegedly assaulted them with punches and kicks. The police officers subdued him, but during the struggle, ”he spat at the officers and bit an officer with all his might on the middle finger of his left hand,” the Federal Police said.
After initial processing, the suspect appeared cooperative. However, shortly before his planned release, he attacked officers again.

In the spring of 1975, the Red Army Faction, more popularly known as the Baader-Meinhof gang, stormed the West German Embassy in Stockholm and murdered two of its staff before setting the building ablaze. In its aftermath, a British tabloid printed a headline whose bluntness masked its profundity: ‘So, Who’s Sick?‘
It was less a headline than a rhetorical diagnosis, reflecting the bewilderment at these seemingly senseless acts of terror. Was it the bourgeois world condemned as corrupt by these self-styled revolutionaries, or was it the revolutionaries themselves, who in their righteous fervour appeared possessed by demons?
The question was never one that admitted an easy answer in that moment, and it remains just as piercing in ours. For when, half a century later, Charlie Kirk was struck down in the midst of civic debate, and when voices on the ‘progressive’ Left respond not with horror but with unholy glee, we are forced once again to confront the same ambiguity.

In 2023, according to the US Centers for Disease Control, 613,349 Americans died of cancer. That number is projected to increase to over 618,000 this year. As a result, medical research has been focused on the development of cancer treatment protocols for decades for all types of cancer.
The National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Trials Support Unit (CTSU) and the National Institute of Health’s ClinicalTrials.gov website list hundreds of active protocols, with 457 NCI-supported protocols noted in clinical trial databases for various cancer types and stages.
For example, there are approximately a dozen known treatment protocols for Stage 4 prostate cancer that focus on managing the disease since it is considered to be incurable. For context, the American Cancer Society’s estimates for prostate cancer in the US for 2025 are about 313,780 new cases and about 35,770 projected deaths.
Medical researchers are continually developing potentially breakthrough cancer protocols. This is the true story of one man’s experience with a new protocol that exploits repurposed drugs.

While working on a new airport, a 4,000-year-old structure was discovered in Crete, and may have been the legendary labyrinth built for Minoan King Minos, LiveScience reported last week.
Atop a hill near the town of Kastelli – and approximately 51 kilometers southeast of Heraklion, Crete’s capital city – the ancient structure features a unique architectural design, commonly attributed to the Minoan civilization, and is believed to have been constructed around 2000-1700 B.C.
The structure, measuring 48 meters in diameter, features two main sections: a central circular building and an outer area formed by walls and created by a pattern similar to the spokes of a wheel. The building consists of eight stone rings intersected by small walls, creating a labyrinthine layout.

The president of the leftist magazine The Nation Bhaskar Sunkara was up in arms over Vice President J.D. Vance’s connection of his publication to billionaire George Soros during a recent TV interview. The reality: Vance was hovering over the target, and Sunkara was being blatantly deceptive.
Sunkara railed against Vance in an X post for saying Soros “funds” The Nation: “I’m not sure where he’s getting his information, but JD Vance is lying about The Nation magazine.” He continued, claiming unequivocally that “we’re not funded, not one dime, by Soros or Open Society Foundation.”
Here’s the deception: Up until 2019, The Nation was directly affiliated with the nonprofit media outfit The Nation Institute, which had in fact received at least $1,349,000 from Soros’s organizations between 2004 and 2019, according to Foundation Directory Online data. In January 2019, it was announced that The Nation Institute was officially rebranding to become the Type Media Center to expand beyond its connections to the magazine.

Last week, conservatives were bludgeoned, once again, by the reality that they live in a country full of people who want them dead.
Charlie Kirk — a man known for his love of country, open and respectful debate, and Christian faith — was allegedly assassinated by a left-wing maniac. Many on the left tried to justify it, and some even cheered.
While the wound is still fresh, and we are finding out who people really are in the wake of such a horrific, and horrifically public, assassination, now is the time for action — serious action.
We do not need “unified condemnations” followed by zero action. Many on the left are offering this pathway, which is something weak-willed people on the right might be inclined to accept in order to move on without rocking the boat too much.
The time for conversation is over. The left only ever wants to “turn the temperature down” when their rhetoric gets someone shot or killed. And then they turn around and build it back up again. And then people — whether they be praying at a school, contributing to public discourse, or running for president — get shot or killed.
The spreaders of this rhetoric are not fringes of the far left. These are the rank-and-file, and we know that because Democrat members of Congress jeered at the idea of a moment of silence in the moments after Kirk’s death on the House floor.
Back when Biden was elected over Trump, Scott Adams predicted that very soon Republicans would be hunted. I’m thinking he was more right than he expected.

Murders are following upon each other so rapidly that it is easy to forget them. Conservatives were horrified by the slaughter of Iryna Zarutska on a Charlotte train, but the murder of Charlie Kirk came so soon after that some fear Zarutska, and the liberal ethos that led to her death, will be forgotten.
If we go back another week or two, we come to a third horror that briefly dominated the headlines but now is absent from them, except locally: Robin Westman’s attack on Annunciation School in Minneapolis. We are reminded of that crime by the funeral for a ten-year-old victim that was held yesterday.

In 2023, Mohammed made its appearance on the list of the top 10 most popular names for boys in New York City. Anyone paying attention to this seemingly minor statistic could have predicted the emergence of Zohran Mamdani as the Democrat nominee in the upcoming mayoral election.
Mohammed had appeared as the sixth most common baby among ‘Asians’ in New York City in 2013. By 2017, the name of the genocidal warlord of Islam had become the most common baby name among ‘Asians’ in the city. The rapid growth showed the power of demographics.
Nearly 300 Mohammeds (under various spellings) were born in New York City in 2021 accompanied by over 150 Ahmeds, and dozens of Alis, Omars, Adnans and many others.
The Muslim population of New York City is still undetermined. While Islamist groups claim that there are over 1 million Muslims, they tend to exaggerate to build up their influence, but a Pew survey estimated Muslim settlers as making up 3% of the population of New York City.
Mamdani only won the votes of 5% of the population of New York City. That’s within 2% of the estimated Muslim population of the city. Whatever the actual size of the Muslim population of the city may be, it was more than enough to make the difference in a mayoral primary that few New Yorkers bothered to vote in because they found all the candidates repugnant even while mosques successfully turned out the bloc vote to rig an election for their candidate.
Still has a way to go to match Dearborn.

It’s back-to-school season, and some teachers have promised that the racist ideas from diversity, equity, and inclusion would not be in their classrooms this year. That’s the good news. The bad news is that many of these teachers and administrators are clearly telling whoppers.
In fact, K-12 schools and colleges around the country are disguising their DEI offices and their racial preferences.
Take Maryland, across the border from the nation’s capital and where many federal bureaucrats sleep and send their children to school.
State education officials said schools would comply with President Donald Trump’s executive orders calling on schools to reject DEI, citing the ways in which DEI programs violate civil rights laws.
Yet schools in Montgomery County, precisely where the swamp lives, still have resources on their website dedicated to DEI and critical race theory.

A few years ago, before the trans craze became the ideological leviathan that it is today, I read a news analysis that estimated the proportion of the population identifying as transgender or non-binary as 0.1%. Since then, after continuous relentless promotion of all things transgender by the media and academia, the number has apparently grown by almost an order of magnitude. In March of 2023, just after Audrey Hale carried out her mass shooting at a parochial school in Nashville, Newsweek reported:
According to the Williams Institute research center, around 0.6 percent of Americans over the age of 13 identify as transgender.
However, the ensuing eighteen months must have been busy ones for the trans-promoters, because in late 2024 USAFacts reported that the percentage had increased even further:
About 0.95% of the nation’s adult population identifies as transgender, according to Household Pulse Survey data collected from May to September 2024. This is equivalent to approximately 2.3 million adults.
I’ve seen other estimates that the trans population is 1%, 2%, or even 3%.
In the last few years there have also been a number of mass shootings carried out by transgender or non-binary perpetrators. The pace of such shootings seems to have accelerated in recent months, leading to widespread assertions that the number of atrocities carried out by trans people is disproportionately high, relative to their percentage in the general population. Determining the accuracy of such assertions, however, is a very difficult task, as I discovered over the last few weeks while trying to dig more deeply into the topic. I asked Vlad to help, since he is an adept at using AI for research, but he said that his AI assistant was stymied by his request. The relevant data are simply too diffuse, obscure, or otherwise unavailable.

U.S. authorities are warning of a new synthetic opioid from China that can be up to 50 times more potent than fentanyl.
Nitazenes pose an emerging threat as they are more resistant to naloxone, a medication that can reverse opioid overdoses. They are often mixed with other drugs and delivered in the form of counterfeit pills mimicking drugs such as Xanax or Percocet, according to authorities.
Frank Tarentino, who heads the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) New York Division, said that the presence of nitazenes coming from China has been increasingly prevalent on the illicit drug scene.
“Here in the United States, we have found it in heroin, methamphetamine, in some cases fentanyl, and more alarmingly, we have now seen it pressed into pills,” he said in a Sept. 10 interview with NTD, The Epoch Times’ sister media outlet.
“What we have seen is that these cartels, these transnational criminal organizations that are operating on a global scale, are intentionally lacing their drugs with fentanyl and now nitazenes to increase the high, to increase the addiction, to make more money.”
Tarantino said that traffickers are selling counterfeit prescription drugs such as oxycodone on the streets, online, or on social media. He warned that the only safe place to buy prescription drugs is through a legitimate pharmacy.

The International Association of Genocide Scholars (“IAGS”) recently announced that 86 percent of their members had concluded that Israel was committing genocide in Gaza. This was extremely misleading. First of all, only around 28 percent of their members voted on the resolution and a mere twenty percent of total members approved it. And this was not the only problem with the resolution. It also misrepresented the crime of genocide.
Genocide is an act undertaken with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group, as such. If you cannot establish a specific intent to commit this crime (such an intent is known in legal parlance as dolus specialis), you cannot establish genocide.
The IAGS resolution did not even attempt to establish such an intent, relying instead on statements made by other entities and by extrapolating from what the organisation B’Tselem has described as a “broader analytical framework.” However, legally, genocide requires a fully conclusive finding, meaning that no other explanation exists for the event or events in question other than the intent to commit the crime of genocide. This does not apply here, as there are alternative explanations for the casualties in Gaza that the IAGS fails to recognise.

The plenary session of the European Parliament descended into shouting and jeers on Thursday after left-wing MEPs refused to observe a minute of silence for American conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was murdered on Wednesday. The gesture, requested by representatives of the Conservatives and Reformists group (ECR) and supported by Patriots for Europe (PfE), sparked a verbal confrontation that sharply divided the chamber.
The gesture was proposed at the beginning of the session as a sign of respect for Kirk, a prominent conservative voice on both sides of the Atlantic. However, the left-wing parties rejected the proposal, arguing such tributes should not be part of the institution’s official proceedings.
The refusal sparked a backlash from conservative and patriotic MEPs, who argued that honoring Kirk transcended politics. While conservatives attempted to uphold the minute of silence, boos and shouting were heard throughout the hall.

California lawmakers have advanced a bill to ban the sale of nonstick cookware and corded kitchen appliances that contain PFAS (forever chemicals) despite strong opposition from an industry group that insists the products are save.
Bill 682 would phase out a range of consumer products in the state – along with many commercial products, that contain any amount of “intentionally added PFAS” starting in 2028.
PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are man-made chemicals, known as forever chemicals because they don’t break down easily and can build up in the human body and the environment.
The bill would make it illegal for anyone to distribute, sell or offer for sale any cookware that contained the chemicals – so all you garage sale sellers better watch out.
“PFAS are leading to an avoidable public health crisis,” said state Sen. Ben Allen (D) who introduced the bill. “It’s clear we need to be taking stronger steps to regulate and minimize the use of these forever chemicals.”

The Guardian, a Voice of the Deranged Left.
That would probably explain why organizations like The Guardian, The New York Times, The Washington Poop, The Daily Beast, The Rolling Stone, The Huffington Post, The New Republic, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, CNN, CNBC, ABC, PBS, NPR, Vox, WIRED, Gawker, Scientific American, the New Yorker, Variety, New York Magazine, and the various deranged Wokerati web sites can no longer call Trump Hitler without the storm-troopers breaking down their doors.

New data shows that 64 percent of violent robberies, physical and sexual violence on public transport in Paris are committed by foreigners, with 43 percent of this number being North African, who represent only 3.4 percent of the population.
My, what a surprise. Aren’t you surprised? I’m sure surprisd.
The data, from the French agency INSEE, as reported by Fdesouche, also shows that in 2024, overall in France, foreigners committed 41 percent of violent robberies, physical and sexual violence on public transport. Nineteen percent of these crimes were committed by North Africans.
The foreign population in France is equivalent to 5.2 million people, or 7.7 percent of the total population. Of this number, 44.4 percent are from Africa.
These statistics do not break down information based on race or ethnicity, as France does not track such information. France also does not track the migration background of French citizens. Any foreigner who has since become a French citizen is tracked in the statistics as French.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

On Friday afternoon’s Deadline: White House, MSNBC was back to promoting incendiary rhetoric against Republicans as State Rep. Justin Pearson (D-Tenn.) appeared as a guest and claimed that President Donald Trump’s push to use the National Guard to cut crime is motivated by “white supremacist ideology” and asserted that ICE agents are committing “terrorism” in blue cities.
MSNBC contributor and disgruntled ex-Republican Tim Miller played the “fascist” card as he warned about an “authoritarian takeover” by Trump.
The MSNBC host followed up by reciting some of the high crime statistics of Memphis, leading Pearce to respond with the worn out liberal claims of crime being caused by poverty and access to guns.

I know, that is a very high bar to get over. But consider: why did Joe Biden pardon more people, by a wide margin, than any other president? Documents have come to light that suggest Biden pardoned thousands, some of whom were violent criminals and most of whom had no apparent grounds for clemency, because he was being criticized for pardoning his degenerate partner in crime, his son Hunter. So he “flooded the zone” with thousands of names that no reporter had the time–or more important, the inclination–to track down.
