Senior Citizens Moved Out of Housing Complex in Germany To Make Way for ‘Refugees’

18th June 2025

Read it.

The German city of Bargteheide has scrapped plans to demolish a senior citizens’ residential complex on Nelkenweg after vacating all residents, opting instead to house asylum seekers in the building.

Former residents had been told the building was uninhabitable and were forced to relocate. However, following an inspection, just five units will undergo renovation, while the remainder will be used as-is by the new arrivals.

OF COURSE: ABC Links Lander’s Performative Arrest to Padilla’s Stunt

18th June 2025

Newsbusters.

Covering politicians getting themselves performatively arrested these days is not unlike watching an outbreak: first one patient, then another, until the whole town is infected. And as is the case with their outbreak coverage, the media are excessively hyping these performative arrests.

Case in point: ABC World News Tonight as they covered the stunt arrest of New York City Comptroller and mayoral candidate Brad Lander, who attempted to obstruct ICE from arresting an illegal alien that he was escorting to and from immigration court. Here is that report in its entirety:

First off, you’ll note that although Katresky begins his narration of Landers’ arrest with the arm linking, the video shown by ABC omits that. Unless viewers also saw the original video of the arrest, there is the potential for confusion. This is by design. Compare this video featuring the full arrest in its context with what you saw on ABC.

This sleight of hand allows for an easier establishment of a persecution narrative, particularly as ICE prepares to conduct more raids in cities like New York.

Then there is the matter of Padilla. Katersky runs the comparison to Padilla’s Los Angeles crashout, attempting to establish parallels between the two. Padilla showed up to the Senate floor and delivered his emotional remarks. Katersky closes out the report by linking the arrests to an “uptick in ICE arrests in immigration courts.”

It sounds nice, but that’s not what happened. Lander got arrested for obstructing an arrest, and Padilla got busted for trying to crash a press conference in order to ask questions without first identifying himself. Once again, ABC gaslights its public: this time, in order to further fuel anti-ICE sentiment by casting these arrested politicians as Resistance martyrs. Buyer beware.

MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle Says ‘Truth Matters,’ Lies Four Minutes Later

18th June 2025

Newsbusters.

MSNBC’s 11th Hour host, Stephanie Ruhle, kicked off Monday night’s show by saying, “So please remember, the truth matters, but only if you hear it, so let’s get started covering the truth.” A great quote from the leftist propaganda machine that was MSNBC. The joke wrote itself in this instance, because four minutes later Ruhle and her guests spewed biased rhetoric on President Trump and the entire Republican Party.

In a conversation with David Rucker of The Bulwark, Ruhle claimed she didn’t want to call the political violence normalized, and then in the same sentence called it far more prominent and prevalent? Leading to this exchange:

NAACP, Environmental Group Notify Elon Musk’s xAI Company of Intent to Sue Over Facility Pollution

18th June 2025

Associated Press, a Voice of the Crust.

The NAACP and an environmental group said Tuesday that they intend to sue Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI over concerns about air pollution generated by a supercomputer facility located near predominantly Black communities in Memphis.

The xAI data center began operating last year, powered in part by pollution-emitting gas turbines, without first applying for a permit. Officials have said an exemption allowed them to operate for up to 364 days without a permit. But Southern Environmental Law Center attorney Patrick Anderson said at a news conference that there is no such exemption for turbines — and that regardless, it has now been more than 364 days.

A 60-day notice of an intent to sue, a prerequisite to filing a lawsuit under the Clean Air Act, was sent to xAI in a letter. The Southern Environmental Law Center is representing the NAACP in its possible legal challenge against xAI and its permit application, now being considered by the Shelby County Health Department.

The fact that the NAACP is involved suggests that it’s less about the environment and more about putting the arm on Musk. This is a page out of the NAACP Race Hustler Playbook: “Nice facility you got there. Be a shame if anything happened to it. We’ll leave you alone of you pay enough money and grovel a bit.’  Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton got rich playing this card.

Rachel Reeves Reconsiders Non-Dom Tax Changes to Halt Exodus

18th June 2025

The Times (UK).

Rachel Reeves is considering watering down plans to scrap the non-dom tax regime amid concerns about an exodus of wealthy individuals.

Oh noes! The sheep are no just haning around waiting to be fleeced! Who could have predicted tha?!

The chancellor is weighing up reversing her decision to charge inheritance tax on the global assets of non-domiciles: UK residents whose permanent home is abroad.

All of your money belongs to the government, unless they benevolently allow you to keep some.

The new rules are due to take effect in April but there are concerns that it will lead to wealthy people leaving the UK for regimes with lower taxes.

Oh, ya think?

The imposition of inheritance tax is viewed as particularly onerous.

As indeed it is. That money has already been taxed once, and you’re going to tax it again just because you can. “Oh, you died. Well, then, give us half.”

Israeli Airstrikes Blunt Iranian Long-Range Ballistic Missile Threat

18th June 2025

Read it.

Israel’s campaign against Iranian ballistic missiles and their launchers appears to be having an effect. On Tuesday, Iran was able to fire 20 ballistic missiles. That is far fewer than in previous days, which had seen around 370 ballistic missiles unleashed at Israel in total, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). A spokesman for the IDF on Tuesday said this campaign has resulted in Iran pushing back its launchers further from Israel. Operation Rising Lion, Israel’s effort to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and dismantling its military, is now in its fifth day.

“We have delivered significant blows to the Iranian regime, and as such, they have been pushed back into central Iran. They are now focusing their efforts on conducting missile fire from the area of Isfahan,” said Brig Gen. Effie Defrin. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) added that on Tuesday, it “conducted intelligence-based strikes on 12 missile launch sites and storage facilities. These missiles were aimed at Israeli civilians.”

All told, Israel said it has destroyed over 200 ballistic missile launchers, “which is a significant portion of Iran’s arsenal, according to the military,” Times of Israel reporter Emanuel Fabian stated on X. “The strikes on the launchers have disrupted Iran’s attempts to fire more missiles at Israel, but the IDF assesses that Iran still has the capability to launch attacks and cause devastating harm in Israel. “

Brad Lander’s Arrest by ICE Marks a Breakout Moment for the Jewish NYC Mayoral Candidate

17th June 2025

On Tuesday, Lander — who, as New York City comptroller, is the highest-ranking Jewish official in the city’s government — was arrested by federal agents at an immigration court in Lower Manhattan after he linked arms with a person that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials were attempting to detain.

Numerous journalists were present at the court at 26 Federal Plaza and witnessed the arrest, including AM New York reporter Dean Moses, who posted a video to X in which Lander, 55, can be heard saying, repeatedly, “Do you have a judicial warrant?”

Performace art for political advantage. I hope they throw the book at him.

Pharmacy Benefit Manager Parasites Drive Drug Costs Ever Higher

17th June 2025

Read it.

President Donald J. Trump is right. Too many pharmaceuticals are too damn high, especially compared to the flea-market prices that foreign patients pay for the same drugs. Dr. Wayne Winegarden, a senior fellow with the Pacific Research Institute, estimated last month that a 30-day supply of the weight-loss drug Ozempic costs $418.98 in the USA. But it’s a mere $95.30 in the UK—a 77.25% discount. Jardiance, for cardiovascular diseases $256.66 per month here. In Canada: $57.65. That’s roughly 77.5% off.

Trump’s new Most Favored Nation policy aims to bring U.S. drug bills closer to those overseas. Simply put, this initiative demands that these manufacturers sell “all brand products” at their lowest prices among major Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development countries.

This illusionary bargain would karate chop the revenues of American drug companies. They typically spend $2.9 billion to bring each new drug to market. These firms also try to recoup losses fueled by the countless once-promising potential therapies that die anonymously in their test tubes. Most Favored Nation is like telling Hewlett-Packard that its $1,500 laptops must sell for just $200— the price that MS-13 quotes for such a freshly stolen computer.

Remembering What Comes Next

17th June 2025

ZMan points the way.

Thirty years ago, when Bill Clinton was caught chasing interns around the Oval Office, many assumed it was the end of him. Instead, he not only wriggled free of the scandal, and many other scandals, but he seemed to be stronger for it. The reason is Clinton was an extraordinarily clever man. He was not a smart man, in the sense that he could anticipate and avoid problems. Smart men do not have sex with interns. He was clever like a fox in that he could always find a way to slip out of a trap.

The Clintons, of course, set the tone for post-Cold War politics. They brought to Washington the style of politics that is now normal. They formalized both narrative politics, which relies on abductive reasoning to win debates. They also introduced things like media spin and media jamming where they sought to control the narratives at any given moment by overwhelming the system with their messaging. The Clintons made politics into a guerilla media war.

This sort of politics selects for clever over smart. When everything is done in the moment, there is no patience for deliberative politics. In the current Middle East crisis, for example, the information space is controlled by actors chanting rehearsed lines to the other actors in the media. The mainstream media is a Greek chorus and whoever can get the chorus chanting their chants wins. In such an environment there is no room for well thought out arguments and serious debate.

Green Energy Stocks Puke As Senate Bill Targets Early End To Tax Credits

17th June 2025

Read it.

Solar and renewable energy stocks crashed in premarket trading after Senate Republicans unveiled a draft of a bill that would end wind and solar tax credits by 2028, while providing incentives for other energy sources like nuclear, hydropower, and geothermal (which would extend to 2036).

According to Reuters, the draft tax bill released by Senate Finance Committee Chair Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) proposes an accelerated phaseout of clean energy subsidies established under the Biden-Harris regime’s 2022 Inflation Reduction Act. Specifically, the legislation would significantly dial back solar and wind tax credits to 60% of their original value starting in 2026, with complete elimination by 2028. Under current law, these credits are scheduled to begin phasing out in 2032, meaning the proposal would effectively shorten the incentive window.

An illustration of the fact that ‘green energy’ is merely a scheme to get leech off of the taxpayers pursuant to a political agenda.

Quotation of the Day

17th June 2025

Andrew Mellon:

High taxation, even if levied on an economic basis, affects the prosperity of the country because in its ultimate analysis the burden of all taxes rests only in part upon the individual or property taxed. It is largely borne by the ultimate consumer.”

Businesses, whether corporations or personal, don’t pay taxes. They merely collect taxes. Any tax they collect is passed on to the purchaser in the form of higher prices. So any politician who trumpets the notion of ‘sticking it to the rich corporations’ is both a fool and a liar–who he’s really ‘sticking it’ to is the customer, and ultimately the consumer.

Israel Eliminates Iran’s New Military Chief in Tehran Strike

17th June 2025

Read it.

Israel has killed Iran’s newly appointed military chief, Ali Shadmani, in a precision airstrike on a command centre in central Tehran. The IDF said the strike was launched after “a sudden opportunity” presented itself, just four days after Shadmani’s promotion to wartime chief of staff.

Shadmani, a close aide to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, had replaced a predecessor also eliminated by Israel on Friday. He is now the third senior Iranian commander to be taken out in less than a week, following the deaths of Revolutionary Guard chief Hossein Salami and armed forces head Mohammad Bagheri.

The IDF also claims to have killed 10 Iranian nuclear scientists involved in Tehran’s suspected weapons programme.

Asylum Seekers Tied to Recent Grooming Gang Cases

17th June 2025

Read it.

An official report warns that asylum seekers and foreign nationals are involved in a “significant proportion” of current police investigations into child sex ‘grooming’ gangs. It was published just as 2,000 ‘small boat’ Channel migrants were recorded as making the illegal crossing into England that week.

Baroness (Louise) Casey’s late-arriving omnibus report into group-based child sexual abuse in select local settings grabbed the headlines as the formal explanation of the Labour government reversing its earlier stance and initiating a national inquiry into grooming gangs, so-called because of the way vulnerable girls are exploited by men posing as their boyfriends.

Casey’s report rightly emphasises the importance of male, predominantly Pakistani heritage networks in the scores of historic cases which go back decades—something the British establishment has long sought to ignore or deny. However, it also highlights a worrying new trend: recent, open cases which appeared to

involve suspects who are non-UK nationals and/or who are claiming asylum in the UK.

Since this observation is based on ongoing cases, the report does not go into specific detail for fear of prejudicing fair trials. It does reflect a demographic shift in this most heinous of crimes. UK home secretary Yvette Cooper responded to this aspect of the report in the House of Commons on Monday, June 16th, to say that

those who groom children or who commit sexual offenses will not be granted asylum in the U.K.

Cooper plans to change the law to exclude anyone with a sex offence conviction from being given refugee status, while pledging to “immediately pursue” abuse suspects who are asylum-seekers.

Will Belgium Be the Next to Produce a Muslim Brotherhood Report?

17th June 2025

Read it.

Having already stressed the need to “remain extremely vigilant” about Islamist infiltration after reports pointed to Muslim Brotherhood control of (at least) five Brussels municipalities, Belgian politicians are now calling for an official investigation to establish the true scale of the problem.

The liberal Reformist Movement (MR) this week called on the federal government to produce a detailed report on the national influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in order to “protect our democratic values.”

A Europe-wide discussion on Islamist infiltration was started last month following the release of a French government report on the threat posed to “national cohesion” by the Muslim Brotherhood. The Swedish government later announced it was launching an investigation of its own.

UK Turning Into ‘National Health State’, Says Think Tank

17th June 2025

Read it.

The think tank’s analysis of Reeves’s Spending Review estimates that by the end of financial year 2028–29, the health service will account for half (49 percent) of all day-to-day public services spending, up from 34 percent in 2009–10.

On Wednesday, the chancellor announced a record £29 billion funding injection, which the Treasury said will deliver on the government’s promise to cut waiting lists, improve patient care, and modernise services.

Resolution Foundation Chief Executive Ruth Curtice said in a statement, “Health accounted for 90 per cent of the extra public service spending, continuing a trend that is seeing the British state morph into a National Health State, with half of public service spending set to be on health by the end of the decade.”

The Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) noted in its initial response to the Spending Review that the funding increase for the NHS was substantial, but questioned whether it will be enough to get the health service back to meeting its 18-week target for hospital waiting times within this Parliament, something which the think tank said was “enormously ambitious.”

The demand for health care, and the funding to pay for it when it is provided by the government, is bottomless. The NHS was a socialist pipe-dream from the beginning, and will eventually destroy British society.

Crimes of the Century

17th June 2025

New York magazine, a Voice of the Crust.

On April 4, the Palestinian poet Mosab Abu Toha posted a video of an obliterated urban landscape. Suddenly, there are bombs: Smoke erupts from the base of the buildings, and two large objects are ejected from the rooftops into the sky. Arms and legs seem to undulate in the air — they appear to be human bodies — before they crash down onto the pyre. “This is scary more than ever,” Abu Toha wrote on Instagram. “In the air strikes, two people flew even above the clouds of death.” In the background, the girl videotaping is crying as she holds the phone. She knows that those two people, perhaps briefly alive in the sky, have died, that Israel is bombing an already annihilated place, and that eventually those bombs may come for them all.

Fembot ‘journalism’: Lead with a tear-jerking anecdote, and then use that as ‘proof’ of your broad political agenda.

That there are no longer words to capture the horrors taking place in the Gaza Strip has long been said and felt, but then a video like Abu Toha’s appears, clarifying how extreme and otherworldly this catastrophe has become. In the 1980s, the American philosopher Edith Wyschogrod recognized that the Holocaust and Hiroshima and other crises in which huge numbers of people had died required a new language. In her 1985 book, Spirit in Ashes, she called them “death events.” These, she wrote, could be large-scale bombing campaigns, forced famines, or deportations. Most important, these manmade events were collective global experiences and involved the shared knowledge that people have made the extinction of mankind possible. In some cases, these events gave rise to something she called the “death world,” which had the “imagined conditions of death, conferring upon their inhabitants the status of the living dead.” Wyschogrod had the Nazi camps in mind; today, the death world we know is Gaza.

The ‘horrors taking place in theGaza strip’ is entirely self-generated, by Gaza Muslims supporting Hamas in its terror campaigns and reaping the whirlwind of their own actions.  In truth, the ‘death world we know’ is the ongoing Muslim terror campaign against Jews and other ‘unbelievers’ that has been in progress since the seventh century.

Illegal Alien Economy: How Foreign Nations Exploit US Borders for Profit

17th June 2025

Read it.

Well, the tensions over mass illegal immigration in the US are finally coming to a boil after 4 years of open borders under the Biden Administration and six months of obstruction by Democrat politicians and judges interfering with deportations.

Think about it for a moment and ask yourself: Why is the rest of the world in our business? Why do they care if we have tighter controls on borders and stricter vetting for immigration? Why don’t foreign governments also complain about Chinese immigration standards, or Saudi Arabia’s standards, or even Australia’s standards? Why does everyone else think they have a say in how America handles immigration?

There are, of course, ideological agendas at play here, but I believe the primary reason for foreign meddling is economic, specifically when it comes to Central America and South America.

Explaining the Rules of the Political Blame Game

16th June 2025

Read it.

I am seeing a lot of confusion today about how the Political Violence Blame Game works. As a Professional Internet Zoologist, allow me to help educate you.

The 72 hour rule is still in effect for the Minnesota shooting, but with the facts available so far it’s not looking good for The Narrative. But from what I’ve seen this morning that sure isn’t holding liberal internet morons back from screaming about how “right wingers” have “legitimized political violence”, like violence is such a common right wing cultural thing, while the left are just out there showing kindness.

That’s a great theory, as long as you ignore lefties:

-shooting republican congressmen at a baseball game,

-trying to murder a Supreme Court Justice,

-trying to firebomb a democrat governor,

-shooting Israeli embassy employees,

-assassinating a health insurance CEO (and then the left glorifying that guy into a rock star sex symbol),

-setting Tesla stores on fire and screwing with random people’s cars in general,

-firebombing Jewish senior citizens,

-torching RNC HQs (ironically, googling this one to refresh my memory turned up a bunch of these that I’d not even heard of!).

-“globalizing the intifada”,

-beating up a republican senator,

-shooting a democrat mayor,

-running a republican legislator off the road because they’re upset about healthcare,

-attempting to stab a republican congressional candidate,

-swatting EVERYBODY, up to and including the FBI director(!),

-holding a few HUNDRED riots, with uncountable of acts of violence, arson, and looting. This one lumps in all the fun fire bombings, car flippings, bike lock beatings, and wacky political violence the left has turned into an art form.

-and not one, but two, assassination attempts on Donald Trump.

What’s funny is that listing some of those, I’m reminded it’s amazing how fast they dropped out of the news cycle. Some of these just barely happened, were incredibly violent, yet poof, 24 hours later they’re never mentioned again. You know if a racist white dude hit a bunch of elderly holocaust survivors with a Molotov cocktail that would be the biggest news story of the year and we’d never hear the end of it.

British Establishment ‘In Denial’ Over Ethnicity of Child Sex Gangs

16th June 2025

Read it.

The British government has launched a nationwide inquiry into child sexual exploitation by grooming gangs, following a landmark report that found authorities failed to act for years due to fears of being called racist.

The report, led by Baroness (Louise) Casey, revealed that many public institutions—including police forces—ignored or downplayed crimes involving gangs of predominantly Pakistani and other Asian-heritage men, despite clear patterns of abuse. Victims were often teenage girls, some as young as 10, who were systematically raped and trafficked.

Britain’s Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said the government would accept all recommendations from the report. These include overhauling rape laws, re-examining more than 800 past cases, and expunging the criminal records of victims wrongly charged with prostitution while their abusers went free.

“This will be the largest effort ever to dismantle the grooming gangs,” Cooper told lawmakers. “Perpetrators who have grown used to the authorities looking the other way must have no place to hide.”

The scandal first came to light in 2011 in the town of Rochdale, but has since spread to other cities in northern England. Many of the victims came from vulnerable backgrounds, including foster care and disability services. Activists have long accused officials of failing to protect them to avoid inflaming ethnic tensions.

Baroness Casey’s report criticized the reliance on “flawed data” and found that some agencies deliberately avoided tracking offenders’ ethnicity. She warned this not only harmed victims but also hurt law-abiding members of minority communities.

Opposition leader Kemi Badenoch accused Prime Minister Keir Starmer of delaying action, calling the announcement “a victory for survivors” after years of political resistance.

The government also pledged to change the law so that convicted sex offenders will no longer be eligible for refugee status.

Iranian Officials Seek Asylum in Russia Should Regime Crumble: Report

16th June 2025

Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei’s senior officials are reportedly in talks to secure asylum in Russia, as the Islamic Republic reels from Israeli strikes on its nuclear and military infrastructure.

Ali Asghar Hejazi, Khamenei’s deputy chief of staff and longtime security adviser, is negotiating with Russian officials to arrange an evacuation for himself and his family, Iran International reported. A senior Russian official has reportedly assured Hejazi that Moscow will provide a secure exit for him should the situation deteriorate for the regime.

Other top Iranian officials are pursuing similar plans, with some already finalizing exit routes, according to Iran International.

Where Is the Tariff Inflation?

16th June 2025

Read it.

For months, many, most, if not all economists have been predicting a re-inflation due to the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. They are not small increases but dramatic increases that shattered a 70-year postwar run of low tariffs. Every bit of economic theory would suggest that the new taxes paid on imports by American businesses and consumers would feed into price increases.

Those price increases keep not happening.

The consumer price index (CPI) and producer price index (PPI) data came out last week. They once again underscored the point. Inflation is not dead but it has hit new lows relative to what we’ve been through for four years. Tariffs seem not to have made any difference at all.

The Stories We Tell

16th June 2025

Read it.

Over 150 years the concept of the Great American Novel was invented in The Nation magazine. The mission of this proposed literary “American epic” was to capture “the ordinary emotions and manners of American existence.” Today, The Nation is a hodgepodge of woke rants. The magazine no longer believes in the greatness of America. And how can there be a great American novel without a great America?

America, as a recent essay at the magazine mocking the idea of the Great American Novel puts it, is an “absurdity.” The American novels that the magazine and its leftist ilk praise are either outrages or absurdities. The topics under discussion are identity, race and class, that indeed appear to make any notion of a single America singularly absurd.

That now ancient essay calling for a Great American Novel in the aftermath of the Union’s supremacy in the Civil War had assumed that there was to be a unified America, but the Confederacy’s multicultural great-grandchildren reject the Union as anything but a tool for forcing their preferred radical policies on the country.

But if indeed there is no America, if we’re just Yugoslavia with a variety of unhappy warring tribes struggling against oppression, why not break the whole thing up? Without the rationale of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the conviction that America is a grand experiment worth fighting for, why fight for her at all?

Blue State Blues: California Retail Theft Rose 11% From 2014 To 2023: Report

16th June 2025

Read it.

California’s soft-on-crime approach, along with pandemic-era actions, may have contributed to a rise in retail theft from 2014 to 2023, according to a report published by the state Legislative Analyst’s Office (LAO) on June 12.

In the report, “Retail Theft in California: Looking Back at a Decade of Change,” the LAO found that retail theft in the state rose after a slight decline during the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in an overall increase of 11 percent during the nine-year timeframe.

CRISPR Used to Remove Extra Chromosomes in Down Syndrome and Restore Cell Function

16th June 2025

Read it.

Down syndrome is caused by an extra copy of chromosome 21, which leads to a range of developmental differences. Researchers have long sought strategies to correct this duplication, because current interventions do not address the added genetic material at its source.

Recent work points to a promising approach with CRISPR-based methods.

Ryotaro Hashizume and colleagues from Mie University in Japan report that it is possible to cut away the surplus chromosome in affected cells, which appears to bring their behavior closer to typical function.

Tipping The Scales: Why So Many Cases Against Trump Are Heard yy Democrat-Appointed Judges

15th June 2025

Read it.

As the Trump administration faces substantial pushback in the courts, including an unprecedented wave of nationwide injunctions halting its policies, some are claiming that his opponents are tilting the scales of justice by selectively bringing their lawsuits before sympathetic courts in a practice called “forum shopping.” They note that three-quarters of the lower court justices who have blocked Trump policies were appointed by Democrats.

Gaming the federal justice system, however, is harder than it sounds because plaintiffs bring cases before courts rather than judges. Most federal courts have a mix of judges appointed by Democrats and Republicans. The plaintiff’s goal in forum shopping is to launch their suit in a district where they are more likely to draw a sympathetic justice – ideally, this district would also include an appellate court stacked with like-minded judges.
