NBA Commissioner, Newsweek in Denial About Social Justice League’s Plummeting Popularity

1st December 2020

Read it.

It’s been nearly two months since the increasingly unpopular NBA stumbled to the end of the 2020 season, but its spineless commissioner and a reliably left-wing sports-writer are still making excuses for America tuning out the social justice-crazy league. Commissioner Adam Silver said in a GQ interview that there is zero data for claims by President Donald Trump and Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) that Black Lives Matter ties torpedoed NBA ratings.

Convincing People That They Are Helpless is Dangerous, to All of Us.

1st December 2020

Read it.

The NFL ran a “We may be filthy rich but we’re nice Democrats, not evil Republicans!” ad during one of their Thanksgiving day games. It featured Michael Thomas, an NFL player who is qualified to speak on the complex social problems which face our nation because he is black, an exceptional athlete, and with a prominent beard.

There’s just so much here. But what really struck me was that he wanted to reduce arrests, so he went to the police department. That would be like trying to reduce car crashes by going to the auto body shop.

Trump Lawsuit: Wisconsin Absentee Ballot Abuses Affected 220K Votes

1st December 2020

Read it.

The lawsuit comes after the state completed its partial recount and after Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers on Monday night formally certified Joe Biden as the state’s winner, reports Fox News.

The legal team in Wisconsin, led by former Wisconsin Circuit Court Judge Jim Troupis, said the recount gave the campaign a “unique ability” to examine ballots.

Troupis said the state’s electoral votes “likely won’t change the overall outcome,” but “exposing exactly how the election processes were abused in Wisconsin holds enormous value for this election beyond a victory for President Trump. Regardless, we’re demonstrating that the results of this election unequivocally ought to be questioned.”

The British-French Border Con

1st December 2020

Read it.

Over the weekend, Home Secretary Priti Patel announced a new border agreement with France – “a significant moment for our two countries.” In reality, once again Britain bribed France to promise the help it had promised before. Why does the British government keep handing over resources to a con artist? Because the British government gets to say, “We have a new agreement! Problem solved!” It relies on the public forgetting the previous agreements. Yes, the British government too is a con artist, and the British public is the patsy.

In January 2018, Theresa May agreed to accept more migrants from France and to pay France to improve its border at Calais. In other words, she paid France to do what it should have been doing all along. The new agreement was an unnecessary repeat of an almost identical arrangement from 2003, which was renegotiated repeatedly, as the French turned a blind eye to illegal migrants, as long as they were emigrating to Britain. May should have repudiated it, but she repeated it. Her unadmitted hope was French help in reconciling Brexit.
