Postal employees in Wisconsin backdated mail-in ballots in the presidential election and nursing home staffers pressured elderly residents on how to vote, witnesses told state lawmakers.
A state election official, meanwhile, assured the Wisconsin lawmakers that there is no evidence of widespread fraud.
These and other witnesses testified Friday before two committees of the Wisconsin Legislature that held a joint hearing on allegations of fraud and irregularities during the Nov. 3 election.

A host of Democratic politicians said the execution of a man convicted of burning two youth ministers in 1999 was an injustice in Friday social media posts.
Brandon Bernard, 40, was killed by lethal injection following a two-decade old conviction lighting a vehicle on fire after an accomplice robbed, shot and dumped two youth ministers in the trunk in 1999, according to CBS News. Bernard, who became the ninth federal inmate to be executed in 2020, was the subject of pleas to commute his sentence from numerous celebrities and advocates, CBS reported.
Sounds like justice to me.

In the world of Democrat politics, there are no coincidences. With that principle in mind, it’s possible to understand why Democrat media outlets are suddenly reporting about Hunter Biden’s corruption, a story that spills over onto his father. The first is to get ahead of potential breaking news about Hunter’s imminent arrest. The second theory is the one Monica Showalter advanced: The leftists used Biden to attain the White House (or so they believe) and are now ready to get rid of him. Having a criminal son may be just what the Obama/Harris camp needs to make that happen. And if there’s any doubt about this theory, an article in The New York Times seems to lay it to rest.
I love the smell of conspiracy in the morning.

When Chinese agent “Christine” Fang first befriended Eric Swalwell, he was just a city councilman in a suburb of Oakland, California. So how did she know to target him specifically? Swalwell challenged incumbent Rep. Pete Stark, who had Obama’s endorsement, in the 2012 Democratic primary. Out of all the local politicians in the San Francisco Bay area, why would Fang have made Stark a target of her influence operation, unless Fang’s Chinese spymasters had some inside knowledge?
Not to get too paranoid here, but it has been reported that Fang raised money for Swalwell, and you have to wonder if Beijing’s influence was a “thumb of the scale” of that 2012 election. In other words, Fang targeted Swalwell because China knew he would beat Stark — the fix was in.

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner and her whole staff have been removed from the case against Mark McCloskey, who with his wife Patricia was charged with brandishing weapons against Black Lives Matter protesters earlier this year, after the prosecutor referred to the case in her fundraising emails.
…
Circuit Judge Thomas Clark II said Gardner’s emails “raise the appearance of impropriety and jeopardize the defendant’s right to a fair trial,” according to The Associated Press.
Suffice it to say that Kim Gardner is a Soros puppet and racist black female.

College campus safe spaces, speech codes, and woke witch hunts may be coming to a high school near you.
Charles Fain Lehman chronicled in The Washington Free Beacon how school districts and private schools around the country are adopting woke, “anti-racist” policies based on critical theory ideologies once ensconced in the ivory tower.
Schools are adding the Pulitzer Prize-winning but factually challenged 1619 Project, to their curriculum. The 1619 Project was aimed at reframing American history as being rooted in slavery rather than the ideas of liberty from 1776.
This is only the tip of the iceberg.

Seventeen states whose elections were won by President Donald Trump told the Supreme Court on Wednesday that they support Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s bid to file a lawsuit that could effectively reverse President-elect Joe Biden’s projected Electoral College victory.
The filing backing Paxton by those states came a day after he asked the Supreme Court for permission to sue Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, all of which Biden won, over their voting processes.

What we get is a Hollywood melodrama. It’s not really a bad movie in my opinion, but it’s not a worthwhile one. If you read the book, there’s not much reason to see the movie unless you like to grumble. If you haven’t read the book, you might enjoy the movie, depending on your tastes, but you won’t get much out of it.
The film has not received favorable reviews from critics — far from it — although the audience reviews are pretty good. Glenn Reynolds thinks the critics’ negativity is politically based.

One small Georgia county has reportedly tossed a monkey wrench into Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s recertification that gave Joe Biden the win over President Donald Trump, doubting the “credibility” of its recount.
Coffee County Board of Elections officials sent out a letter last week saying they couldn’t certify the electronic recount numbers given its “inability to repeatably duplicate creditable election results,” WALB.com reported Tuesday.

America traditionally has not reinvented reality after an election, although prior presidential winners have often tried, as in the fashion of our politics. But the new powers of social media, Silicon Valley, and a woke media have made reality-changing now a reality.
Suddenly Antifa and BLM have all but disappeared from their heroic barricades. Where and why did they go? Did they ever really exist?
Apparently the cucks at National Review have instituted a paywall — which is good, because that means that their me-tooism will be restricted to those who already buy into the Establishment party line and they will no longer be leading innocents astray.

ZMan observes the Pandemic Panic.
In ordinary times in ordinary countries, the prospect of a vaccine for even a nuisance ailment like the Chicken Pox would be welcome news. After all, one measure of society is the technology to improve human health. In a technologically advanced society, members not only live longer, the quality of life is better. An extra 20 years as a feeble old man is not exactly a reward for a life well-lived. Therefore, the promise of a Covid-19 vaccine next year should be welcome news.
As with everything else, it seems, the news of a possible vaccine just reveals how deranged and bizarre life has become in the West. The majority of Americans are highly skeptical of the vaccine. If people were honest, you would find large majorities unwilling to take the vaccine at all. Even in the medical professions, where faith in their own skill is beyond reality, close to half distrust the vaccine. It does not help that the rulers feel the need wrap the vaccine question in their racial madness.

Yesterday the State of Texas filed pleadings in the U.S. Supreme Court alleging that the electoral processes followed by Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin in this year’s election were unconstitutional and the results in those states should be negated. Because this is a lawsuit between states, the Supreme Court has original and exclusive jurisdiction. Texas’s pleadings are embedded below.
The Texas motion and supporting brief are well-drafted and make a plausible case–importantly, one that, if accepted, does not require extensive fact-finding into alleged voter fraud. Reduced to its essentials, the motion alleges 1) that under the Constitution’s Electors Clause, state legislatures have plenary authority over appointment of each state’s electors; 2) that in each of the defendant states, non-legislative actors (e.g., the Secretary of State) unconstitutionally changed the rules governing this year’s election without legislative approval or ratification; 3) that these changes favored some voters over others, in violation of the Equal Protection Clause; and 4) in each state, the number of ballots that were counted pursuant to unconstitutional changes in election procedures exceeds the margin of Joe Biden’s alleged victory.
