But there’s more going on with this line of attack in 2020 than there was 16 years ago. Back then, the Democrats and the MSM were just hunting military votes. This time, I think they are hunting more direct military support.
I think they believe that military intervention might determine who serves as president. The charitable version is that they fear a defeated Trump won’t leave the White House, thus requiring military action to remove him. Another version is that Democrats don’t intend to accept a Trump victory in a close election, and will want the military to help it oust a victorious Trump. (A variation on both versions is that there won’t be a clear winner.)
Republicans believe it when they see it, Democrats see it when they believe it.

Although the number of deaths was too small to say for sure, vitamin D may actually abolish the risk of death from COVID-19.

One of the Democrats’ more lunatic themes is their insistence that if President Trump loses the election, he likely will refuse to leave office, in effect staging a coup. Most recently the claim was made by Bernie Sanders. Politico headlined: “Sanders: America must be prepared for when Trump refuses to leave office.”
To some extent, this may be projection. The Democrats themselves have been staging a slow-motion coup for nearly four years, trying by hook or by crook to force our duly-elected president out of office. And they are the ones who have vowed to count and recount ballots to the last ditch, with Hillary Clinton telling Joe Biden, do “not concede under any circumstances.”
More significantly, I think the Democrats’ fantasizing about Trump illegally staying on in the White House is battlespace preparation for the election and for Trump’s second term (assuming he wins the election). The Democrats are expecting a close election that may not have a clear winner. They have warned that Trump may appear to have won in a landslide on election night, and it may take weeks of ballot counting to give Joe Biden the victory.
So we may well endure a post-election Hell of endless ballot judging and counting not just in one state (Florida in 2000), but potentially a dozen. Given the Democrats’ strategy of encouraging an unprecedented volume of voter fraud through voting by junk mail, the number of questionable ballots will be immense. It is quite possible that once again, the Supreme Court will be called on to sort out legal arguments–this time, likely in multiple states–so as to determine the winner. Meanwhile, the Democrats will be howling at President Trump to concede the election, and accusing him of hanging on illegally when he refuses.
One of the hallmarks of a criminal personality is the shamelessness with which they break the law. Criminals do not respect the law — they lack any proper sense of justice — and so, no matter what the law is, or how serious their breach of the law, criminals tend to be defiant in their behavior toward anyone attempting to enforce the law.
Consider the case of Deon Kay, who had a pistol in his hand when he was shot dead by police in Washington, D.C. Our nation’s capital has very strict gun-control laws; liberals support these laws, with which I strongly disagree. Yet liberals are now protesting the shooting of Deon Kay, despite his open defiance of the city’s gun-control laws.

In an interview with the New York Post posted Saturday, Noor bin Ladin — whose family spells their name differently than her terror lord uncle — said she thinks Trump is a better guardian than Joe Biden against foreign terrorists.
“ISIS proliferated under the Obama/Biden administration, leading to them coming to Europe,” bin Ladin, who lives in Switzerland, told the tabloid. “Trump has shown he protects America and us by extension from foreign threats by obliterating terrorists at the root and before they get a chance to strike.”
She says she’s been a Trump supporter since he announced his candidacy the first time around, and proudly dons his MAGA hat in public.

But as you’ll see, Isaac’s report had a major unacknowledged problem that wrecked its credibility.

pparently, the proper role of the “independent fact checker” in today’s presidential campaign is to present the consistent opinion that Joe Biden is a force for truth and light, and Donald Trump is a rampaging liar who never says anything true.
No one should suggest that these “fact checker” groups need to parcel their rulings out in a completely even fashion, so everyone gets a participation trophy for being half-right. But the dramatic tilt in these “fact checkers” betrays an obvious partisan bias.
Of course, they couldn’t tag it ‘Left-wing activist sought in Portland killing admitted to shooting man’ or even ‘Left-wing activist sought in Portland killing admitted to shooting right-wing activist’, which at least would be fair. No, they have to prime the pump so that readers will know what viewpoint The Narrative requires.
On Tuesday morning, NPR Public Editor (or ombudsman) Kelly McBride admitted the taxpayer-funded network had overreached on two recent pieces I highlighted here at NewsBusters. We asked readers to contact McBride, so hopefully that convinced her to issue a verdicts admitting errors and overreach.
In a column, I noted it was bizarre for NPR to claim Trump stated “without evidence” that Kyle Rittenhouse acted in self-defense when he fell down on a Kenosha street, and a man approached him with a handgun.

The New York Times, when it’s not blaming President Trump for riots in Democratic-controlled cities, is making excuses for those hapless Democrats who run those crime-ridden cities, who have no ability to control what actually happens on the streets of their cities. Mayors are so powerless, it’s a wonder people bother to have them!
Of the 45,848 people surveyed by the Cooperative Congressional Election Study concerning who they voted for in the 2016 US presidential election, just 59 were non-citizens. That comes to a little over 0.1% of the electorate, or 1 in 777 active participants. The survey does employ seven methods to validate that a self-reported voter is actually eligible to vote.
