Before its passage, a group opposed to the bill wrote: “AB 1921 would allow anybody to walk into an elections office and hand over truckloads of vote by mail envelopes with ballots inside, no questions asked, no verified records kept. It amounts to an open invitation to large-scale vote buying, voter coercion, “granny farming”, and automated forgery. AB 1921 solves no problem that a simple stamp can’t solve.”
Democrats have always been the technology leaders in stealing elections, from the invention of gerrymandering to the new ‘ballot harvesting’.

Bjorn Lumborg parses it out.
t is an indisputable fact that carbon emissions are rising—and faster than most scientists predicted. But many climate-change alarmists seem to claim that all climate change is worse than expected. This ignores that much of the data are actually encouraging. The latest study from the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change found that in the previous 15 years temperatures had risen 0.09 degrees Fahrenheit. The average of all models expected 0.8 degrees. So we’re seeing about 90% less temperature rise than expected.
Facts like this are important because a one-sided focus on worst-case stories is a poor foundation for sound policies. Yes, Arctic sea ice is melting faster than the models expected. But models also predicted that Antarctic sea ice would decrease, yet it is increasing. Yes, sea levels are rising, but the rise is not accelerating—if anything, two recent papers, one by Chinese scientists published in the January 2014 issue of Global and Planetary Change, and the other by U.S. scientists published in the May 2013 issue of Coastal Engineering, have shown a small decline in the rate of sea-level increase.
All of the screaming and hand-waving about CLIMATE CHANGE DENIERS! is designed to distract attention from the fact that when you look at the facts there is no reason for alarm.

The Other McCaine is on the case.
The usual suspects on the Left are upset that Professor Mark Lamont Hill lost his contract as a CNN commentator Thursday — he remains on the payroll of Temple University — but he said what he said:
He is, as so many such people are these days, a Person of Color.
But apparently judnehasse isn’t quite yet respectable in polite company.
So we have that going for us.
Hill was speaking at the “U.N. International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People,” which provides an annual platform for extremist rhetoric against Israel.
But probably not for long….

You may have heard of intersectionality – “the theory that the overlap of various social identities, such as race, gender, and sexuality, contributes to the systemic oppression and discrimination experienced by an individual” – but don’t know how to compare your level of oppression with others. Now, you can!
Brought to us by Steve Sailer. No, I don’t know where he finds this stuff.
My score was 4 as compared to a 5 for Steve. Not sure what that means, but I suspect it isn’t good.

This is part of the ongoing conflict between metropolitan areas in Texas, which are run by Democrats for Democrats, and the rest of the state, which is run by Republicans for Republicans.
Opponents dismissed the lawsuit from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, based on a Republican-backed law, as a “publicity stunt.”
Of course it was, just as the whole Sanctuary City schtick is a ‘publicity stunt’ — politicians are the original Virtue Signallers, and that applies to Republicans as well as Democrats.

The Estrogen Post does what it does best, vix. vapors.
Swastikas have been in existence for thousands of years; a variation of the symbol became a ubiquitous feature of Nazi symbolism and an emblem of Aryan race identity, racism, and anti-Semitism. However, the symbol has far more positive messaging in many ancient religions from the cultures of Eurasia, standing for things like divinity and spirituality. Prior to the Nazis appropriating the symbol in the 1930s, it long meant “good luck” in the Western world.
It’s for this reason that Google Maps allowed users to search “points of interest” via the swastika icon. Google told HuffPost that the image seen on users’ Maps app is “not a swastika” but rather a “Buddhist symbol of worship.”
Well, yeah, it is a swastika, just one that rotates in the opposite direction from the one the Nazis used.
Despite their being used as religious icons, Google said that the symbols are being used incorrectly in some places.
I would be interesting in finding out what ‘Google’ (actually, the support people who made this statement) believes is an ‘incorrect use’.
It is an unfortunate fact that people have discovered that SJWs such as those who work for the Estrogen Post will wildly overreact whenever they encounter stuff they consider Politically Incorrect, and the more adolescent among us are beginning to amuse themselves by using such stuff to trigger entertaining reactions on the part of the overly sensitive. SJWs have demonstrated rather consistently that they don’t cope well with such behavior.

After declaring the migrant caravan a “humanitarian crisis” this week, Mayor Juan Manuel Gastélum told Fox News that he can no longer continue to fund the municipal effort to shelter them without federal assistance.
“I’m not going to break public services to solve this problem,” the Tijuana mayor said.
Even worse, he could be forced to raise taxes on Tijuana’s 1.7 million residents who have already suffered from Sunday’s clashes.
“In those six hours that the border was closed, we lost approximately 129 million pesos,” he said. “That’s not fair. How do you think people from Tijuana feel towards those people who are making problems?”
