The preferred tactics of the “anti-fascist” Left are classically fascist in nature. Rather than engage in spirited debate, they prefer to silence their opponents on the Right by using social pressure, verbal harassment, intimidation, and — if necessary — violence.
Demonstrating that they are, in fact, really fascists after all — as Jonah Goldberg demonstrates at length in his book — in a Clever Plastic Disguise.

Reports that the textbook The World: Social Studies asserts that: “Christianity was started by a young Palestinian named Jesus.” have triggered considerable controversy. Some maintain that this is a gross inaccuracy reflecting the intrusion of anti-Semitism, to which others respond that it is correct and so unexceptionable. The former are correct: the description of Jesus as a Palestinian is both inaccurate and offensive.

The rot spreads even to so hard-headed a country as Switzerland. There is no hope.
For years, Swiss scientists have blithely created genetically modified rice, corn and apples. But did they ever stop to consider just how humiliating such experiments may be to plants?

The artist, who has shown at Ronnie Wood’s Scream gallery, has a new exhibition with a headline picture showing a Muslim woman cradling a pig.
I’m curious as to how one can tell, at sight, that it’s “a Muslim woman”. Since it’s “cradling a pig”, I strongly suggest that it is not, in fact, “a Muslim woman”.
Maple, 23, who was brought up as a Muslim, has already evoked Islamic wrath. Her exhibition at Rolling Stone Wood’s gallery earlier this year depicted Muslim women in provocative poses, including one suggestively sucking on a banana.
Apparently she just wants to be offensive. Well, Muslims have a way of dealing with that. Unlike Christians, they aren’t a religion of peace.

Former Countrywide Financial loan officer Robert Feinberg says Mr. Dodd knowingly saved thousands of dollars on his refinancing of two properties in 2003 as part of a special program the California mortgage company had for the influential. He also says he has internal company documents that prove Mr. Dodd knew he was getting preferential treatment as a friend of Angelo Mozilo, Countrywide’s then-CEO.

Jerry Pournelle has a premonition of what National Health Care will be under the Democrats.
That was with Kaiser, which is an extraordinarily well run organization — at least in my experience — and staffed with some of the most pleasant and just plain nice people I’ve ever run into. Now imagine this experience when it has all be nationalized and there’s a big national health care system. I can hardly wait.

All this for only $7.95. What a bargain.
