Fox News reports that jihadi web sites are rejoicing over today’s terrorist attacks in Paris. The line we have heard more than once from ISIS-related sites is, “The American blood is best, and we will taste it soon.” The French are tougher than many realize, but they are not the primary targets of Muslim extremists.

This morning, in a burst of bad timing, Barack Obama said on ABC that ISIS is “contained.” Far from being contained, ISIS is on a roll, from the Sinai, where they apparently brought down an airplane full of Russian tourists, to Paris, France.

No one can seriously doubt that ISIS, and other Muslim terrorist groups, are doing all they can to attack the United States. We, meanwhile, are welcoming enormous numbers of immigrants from Islamic countries, and have gone “open borders” so that anyone can enter the United States from the south. What reason is there to think that Islamic terrorists will not enter across our unguarded borders and organize attacks similar to, or worse than, what France experienced tonight? None.

If you watch the raw video footage of the huge clots of refugees in Serbia or Slovenia, you can count twenty or thirty healthy single young men walk by before you see a family with kids. For every wailing baby there are dozens of unkempt young punks who shout, make demands, act aggressively, cause trouble, and fight with other refugees. They’re thieving and raping their way to the Promised Land: Germany, where they can continue their favorite pastimes in their new home.

It’s been obvious from the start that the “refugee” photos we see in major media outlets are carefully chosen for their eye-appeal from among hundreds or thousands of others in order to convince the viewing public that what they are seeing is something entirely different from the reality behind the façade.

The invaluable MEMRI clips the video of Umm Muhammad Shamanseh below, whose son Muhammad was killed while perpetrating a terror attack on a bus in Jerusalem on October 12. Appearing in her home via the Lebanese Al-Quds TV channel, she offered the interviewer candy to celebrate her son’s “martyrdom.” She said that she hoped her other sons would follow in his footsteps and pulled out a knife, threatening: “My deeds will speak louder than words.”

So it’s entirely possible that the Führer has been running a men’s clothing chain in Gaza since the bottom dropped out of the dictating business.

Some Americans may remember Chateauroux as the locale of a U.S. army base in the 1950s and early 60s. Until recently, it could be described as quintessentially “deep France”: a sleepy local capital, surrounded by dark woods and rivers. Things are changing, however, as Angot realized with a start on her filmed visit there. Muslim immigrants are taking over many parts of the town, including her former neighborhood of public housing, and turning them into semi-independent enclaves, what the French police refer to as “no-go zones.”

When we arrived—all of us, the TV crew complete with their cameras and sound booms, and the writer who grew up there—we had to account for ourselves, to show our identity cards, to prove who we were, to state exactly where I had lived. . . . And then, the director’s first name—David, his full name being David Teboul—supplied material for unsavory jokes…. Some of the locals tried to intimidate us, saying that television was a cartel of the Jews… All this was uttered in a very menacing tone…. We shot a few scenes under a running fire of jibes and jeering, and as we left we were told to pay our compliments to the Talmud…. I swear we felt most uncomfortable.

Last Saturday a culture-enriching “Dane” discharged a firearm during a Shia Ashura event in Copenhagen. When he was picked up by the police, a crowd of Muslims attacked the police car, trying to get at him, and had to be beaten back by the police.

At the time he uploaded a video of the incident, Vlad Tepes speculated that the besieged gun owner in the police car might have been a Sunni Muslim who disrupted the Shi’ites at their festival. Sure enough, according to SHIA Waves TV, it was a Palestinian who was arrested for discharging a firearm.

The Middle East is not actually different from other regions of the world with the exception of Europe. Most transitions do not succeed. Their failures can radicalize politics and, historically, authoritarianism, not democracy, has been the norm across the world. Yet this kind of macro-level comparison only reveals so much. Beyond establishing that the Middle East is not exceptional, it does not tell observers why democratic change was thwarted and violence both within and in some cases between societies has become so widespread. The failures in Iraq—authored by both Iraqis and Americans—have certainly had an impact on the region. Syria’s conflict is a vortex pulling in fighters, proxies, money, and weapons while spinning out violence within and beyond. The emergence of the self-proclaimed Islamic State in territory taken from the Syrian and Iraqi governments is destabilizing in a different way. Yet Iraq’s wars, Syria’s destruction, and the “success” of the Islamic State do not explain why Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, or even non-Arab Turkey, look the way they do. The failures of democratic development or, in Turkey’s case, democratic continuity or maturation, are just as much a cause of this ghastly moment in the Middle East as Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s barrel bombs.

Most of the people in the world who are not descended from Europeans are still stuck in primitive modes of thought. Giving them modern tech toys doesn’t change that, it merely leverages the amount of disorder they can cause. All of the SWPL hand-wringing in the world isn’t going to change that, any more than Michelle Obama going on Facebook with a hand-printed sign saying “Bring Back Our Girls” is actually going to get the girls back.

A couple of weeks ago we posted about the hellishness of Nickelsdorf, a small Austrian town not far from the Hungarian border. It was crammed with feral “refugees” who had brought their iPhones with them, paid for purchases with €500 notes, and left garbage and excrement in their wake.

Since then Hungary has closed its border with Croatia, and the migration stream has shifted westwards to Slovenia. One of the hardest-hit Austrian towns in the pathway of the relocated immigrant flood is Spielfeld, just across the border from Slovenia in Styria, on the main route from Ljubljana to Graz.

An Iraqi who lives in Finland has a low opinion of the current flood of “refugees” into the country. His attitude is similar to that of the migrant in Berlin who wants Germany to stop admitting any more immigrants. Except this guy presumably speaks better Suomi than the other fellow did English.

The reports of the atrocities perpetrated by the Islamic State against girls and women – most of them Yazidi – seem as unending as they are despicable and senseless. But the latest may yet be the most depraved: women and girls being raped repeatedly as a way to “make” them Muslim.

According to a CNN report, a new directive from ISIS’s self-appointed caliph, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, instructs men to rape the women that they capture. A woman who is raped 10 times, it says, will then become a Muslim.

A recently arrived culture-enricher in Berlin is unhappy with the inadequate and tardy services being provided by the German government. He blames the “refugees” that have arrived in Berlin since he got there, and wants Germany to pull up the ladder before the country is ruined by all these new riff-raff.

Last April, police in Sicily reported that Muslim migrants hurled as many as 53 Christians overboard during a crossing from Libya. The motive was that the victims “professed the Christian faith while the aggressors were Muslim.” Another report cited a boy seen praying to the Judeo-Christian God. Muslims commanded him to stop, saying “Here, we only pray to Allah.” Eventually the Muslims “went mad,” in the words of a witness, started screaming “Allahu Akbar!” and began hurling Christians into the sea.

It gets worse. When Christian refugees finally do make it to Western shores, they continue to be attacked by Muslims, or fellow “refugees.”

According to a September 30 report, in Germany, “Many Christian refugees from Syria, Iraq or Kurdistan are being intimidated and attacked by Muslim refugees. In several refugee centers set up by the local authorities, Sharia law is being imposed and Christians—which are a minority—are the victims of bullying.”

It is widely assumed by “xenophobic” writers such as myself that the flooding of Europe with “refugees” and “asylum seekers” is a planned event. The evidence is overwhelming — all the policy announcements by Western European political leaders of different parties in different countries at different times take the same positions and use nearly identical wording. This is true for EU and non-EU countries alike, and applies to those within the Schengen Area as well as those outside it.

The murder of nearly 100 people in a terror attack is shocking wherever in the world it happens, or whoever commits it. But the Ankara attack was hardly a total surprise. This author has mentioned at least a few times the findings of an August 2014 poll, which found that 11.3% of Turks did not view the Islamic State as a terrorist organization. Eleven percent is in no way a marginal figure: If a “mere” 11.3% of Turks thought so generously of ISIS, it meant that there were nearly nine million Turks sympathetic to jihadists. And only 5% of that would mean an army of nearly 450,000. The two suicide-bombers on October 10 were most likely just a two of that big bunch of 450,000 or so sleepers inside Turkey.

Local officials and the UN are calling for some action on the drug smuggling problem in Mali. Getting absolutely all the Islamic terrorists out of northern Mali has proved difficult mainly because the remaining terrorists have a lucrative source of income. This is their control of part of a smuggling network that moves drugs and people from sub-Saharan Africa to the Mediterranean coast and thence to Europe. There is also a steady traffic in weapons from Libya (where vast Kaddafi era stockpiles were looted during the 2011 revolution) to sub-Saharan Africa via Mali and other states on the southern edge of the Sahara. All this smuggling has actually been going on for years and was briefly interrupted in 2013 when the French invaded northern Mali. But now the smuggling operations have adapted to the presence of peacekeepers and French counter-terrorism forces in northern Mali and business continues.

The United Kingdom has chosen to allow rape of an “Asian” girl to be sanctioned more severely than a similar crime committed against a white girl.

As noted previously, British authorities frequently use “Asian” as a synonym for “Muslim,” as in a government report of sex-grooming in Rotherham. The report describes perpetrators of this scandal as “Asian” and sometimes “Pakistani,” but it is clear that many of the perpetrators are Muslim because the response refers to training packages for Muslim community leaders. Authorities ignored the situation for sixteen years, partly because of their contempt for the victims – underage “white” girls – and partly out of fear that they would be branded as “racist” (read, “Islamophobic”) for prosecuting the perpetrators.

On September 10, 2015, an appeals court agreed with a sentencing judge’s decision to impose a longer sentence on Jamal Muhammed Raheem Ul Nasir for sexually assaulting two underage “Asian” girls (at least one of whom was under age 13) because his victims allegedly suffered more than white girls would.

Elia Ali Reza fled to Germany because when he converted to Christianity in his home country, he was threatened with death. Arriving in Germany, he had to flee again — from one refugee camp in Brandenburg, for fear of Muslim co-residents. “I came to Germany because it is a Christian country,” he said on Wednesday evening to STERN TV. “But after my experiences in the asylum camp I feel like I am back in Iran.” All non-Muslims are reviled, berated and ‘impure’ in Iran, he says.
