As a result, departure points have increasingly moved toward Belgian coastal areas used for Channel crossings.

Local forces warn that the situation has become significantly more volatile. Officers report growing aggression during interventions, with some smuggling groups reportedly accompanied by individuals described by police as “violent ex-soldiers” from countries including Iraq and Afghanistan. Authorities say these individuals are being used to protect boats at launch sites and deter police from approaching.

Two Romanians who attacked a British-based Iranian journalist on a London street were “smiling” and “laughing” after stabbing him, a court has heard.

Pouria Zeraati was left bleeding in the street after being attacked by proxies of the Iranian regime in Wimbledon, south-west London, on March 29, 2024, prosecutors told Woolwich Crown Court.

Romanian nationals Nandito Badea, 21, and 25-year-old George Stana have both pleaded not guilty to charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and wounding.

It’s hard to figure out what is happening regarding the nation’s response to the tragedy in San Diego. Several Muslims were killed at a mosque by a couple of deranged kids in their teens, and the cops are claiming there is evidence it was related to pro-white racism. The killers showed up in a BMW (dog whistle?), and they had a gas can with an SS sticker on it.

Not sure why anyone would associate the SS with responsible motoring, but kids have always loved stickers.

People don’t seem all that upset. Why? Is it because Americans are fed up with living at the point of Muslim guns every day, always waiting for the next act of Islamist terror?

Islam is the only major religion that actively promotes the murder of outsiders, calling it a means of obtaining eternity in a gross, trashy version of heaven in which men get to cavort, drunk, with pretty boys and virgin girls. It also tells adherents that jihadis who die trying to murder outsiders can then intercede for 70 of their family members. The world is full of Muslim moms who love it when their sons commit atrocities against Jews and Christians, because they hope to make it to paradise based on their sons’ actions.

Islam is the main reason it takes 45 minutes to get to an airline gate on a good day. I remember when it took 5. And it is telling that news stories about the shooting say the Muslims used the mosque to worship “peacefully.”

When was the last time you saw a story about a church shooting that said the intended victims were worshiping “peacefully”? You don’t have to say that about Christians and Jews. It’s assumed. In the case of Muslims, journalists think it merits special mention. Wonder why that is.

Salim El Koudri is the young man of Moroccan ethnicity who is accused of ramming and wounding pedestrians with his car in the Italian city of Modena last weekend. Italian authorities had announced that the incident was not related to terror, but they may have to revise that decision now that a batch of emails written by Mr. El Koudri has been revealed.

Two teenage gunman opened fire on Monday at the Islamic Center of San Diego in California, killing three men outside the mosque, one of them a security guard, before the two suspects were found dead, apparently from self-inflicted gunshot wounds, police said.

All of the children who were attending a day school that is part of the mosque complex – the largest in San Diego county – were accounted for and safe after the shooting, which erupted shortly before 12 noon PDT, according to San Diego Police Chief Scott Wahl.

Wahl said the FBI was called in to assist in the investigation of the incident, which the police chief said authorities were treating as a hate crime.

Scores of law enforcement officers called to the Islamic Center encountered the bodies of three men shot dead outside the building, including a security guard who Wahl credited with likely having helped prevent further bloodshed.

A short time later, police discovered the bodies of two teenage males, aged 17 and 19, in a vehicle in the middle of a street, dead from apparently self-inflicted gunshot wounds, the chief said at an afternoon news conference.

Rep. Chip Roy introduced the Inhibiting Militant Adversarial Mullahs (IMAM) Act on Monday, which would bar radicalized leaders of certain religious denominations from being admitted into the United States.

“The United States should never roll out the red carpet for foreign clerics who preach anti-American hatred, celebrate terrorism, or serve as mouthpieces for radical regimes,” the Texas Republican told the Daily Signal in a statement.

If passed, the simple two-page bill would amend Section 101(a)(15)(R) of the immigration code to prevent nonimmigrant religious worker visas for “an alien with the title of Imam, Grand Imam, Shaykha, Mufti, Grand Mufti, Ayatollah or Grand Ayatollah from entering the United States.”

Roy, a co-founder of the congressional Sharia Free America Caucus, introduced the legislation following reports that some Muslim clerics have promoted hostility toward the United States.

Italy’s government has warned against dismissing the Modena car-ramming attack as merely the act of a disturbed individual, as the case reignites fierce political debate over immigration, integration, and public security.

Eight people were injured on Saturday after a driver at high speed ploughed his car into pedestrians and cyclists in the centre of the northern Italian city of Modena. Four victims remain in serious condition, including a woman who had to have both of her legs amputated.

The suspect, 31-year-old Salim El Koudri, an Italian citizen of Moroccan origin born in Bergamo, attempted to flee the scene before stabbing a passer-by who tried to stop him. He was eventually overpowered by members of the public and arrested.

You don’t need a conspiracy if everybody knows what they’re supposed to do.

An Iraqi man who was recently arrested in Turkey has been charged with plotting an array of attacks against Jewish targets, including on a synagogue in New York City, in response to the U.S.-Israel war with Iran.

A criminal complaint that was unsealed on Friday claims that Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi, 32, is a commander in the Iraq-based Kataib Hezbollah that functions as a proxy for Iran. The complaint was unsealed when al-Saadi appeared in federal court in Manhattan.

The complaint alleges that al-Saadi is responsible in part for organizing the attacks in Europe that have been claimed by a new group, Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya. It marks the first major disclosure of intelligence information tying the group directly to the Quds Force, the overseas arm of the Iranian regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and includes multiple photographs of al-Saadi meeting in person with IRGC leaders.

Attacks that al-Saadi organized include 18 in Europe that Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya publicly claimed, as well as the stabbing of two Jews in London last month, the complaint alleges. He also organized multiple attacks in Canada that were carried out and plotted others that did not take place, the complaint alleged.

Trump administration officials are encouraging the United Arab Emirates to get more heavily involved in the Iran war and seize one of Tehran’s Gulf islands, The Telegraph understands.

Some in Donald Trump’s circle have suggested the UAE should take Lavan Island, which was reportedly bombed in secret military strikes by the Emiratis in early April, a former senior Trump security official told The Telegraph.

Police are searching for a man who said “Jews gonna get beheaded” in east London.

Officers were sent to Whitechapel Road in Tower Hamlets after an online video showed the suspect making threats and slurs on Friday, the Met said.

The Jewish community police force, Shomrim (London North & East), described the footage as a “horrific video circulating on social media showing a gentleman threatening to behead Jews and much more”.

Shomrim posted online that it was “aware of the fact that the Orthodox Jewish community is exceptionally concerned about these threats”.

Activists in Hamburg are commemorating the displacement of Palestinians this week in a park where Jews were deported during World War II, following a legal fight that ended in their favor.

A German court allowed the “Bridges of Resistance” encampment to be set up from May 9 until Saturday in Moorweide, a public park where, according to the Hamburg Memorials Foundation, the Nazis rounded up more than 1,000 local Jews for deportation to the ?ód? ghetto in October 1941.

The encampment will culminate on Saturday with a march from the park to Hamburg’s port, the organizers announced. The demonstration will be part of nationwide protests marking 78 years since the Nakba, the Arabic word for “catastrophe” used by Palestinians to describe their flight and expulsion from their homes when Israel was established in 1948.

A new study on religious attitudes among young people in Vienna has triggered fierce political debate in Austria after researchers found that a significant proportion of Muslim youths place religious rules above the country’s laws.

The study, commissioned by the City of Vienna and based on interviews with 1,200 people aged between 14 and 21, found that 41% of Muslim respondents agreed with the statement that the rules of their religion stand above Austrian law. Among Christian respondents, the figure was 21%.

Researchers also found that 46% of Muslim youths surveyed believed people should be prepared to “fight and die” for their faith, compared with 24% of Christians.

In addition, 65% said Islamic rules should apply strictly to all aspects of daily life, while more than half supported Muslim women wearing headscarves in public.

French authorities have arrested a 27-year-old Tunisian man suspected of plotting a jihadist-inspired attack in Paris, the national anti-terror prosecutor’s office said.

The suspect was detained on May 7th following a preliminary investigation into a possible “terrorist criminal conspiracy.” He was later placed in pre-trial detention. According to investigators, he had considered carrying out an attack on a Paris museum and targeting members of the Jewish community, although no specific site had been definitively selected.

Sources cited by French media reported that the Louvre museum was among the potential targets, along with areas linked to the Jewish community in the capital’s 16th arrondissement.

Bahrain’s Interior Ministry announced on Saturday the arrest of 41 citizens, including multiple Shia religious leaders, over alleged ties to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The ministry said security services uncovered the alleged network through “investigations, security reports, and previous Public Prosecution cases related to espionage involving foreign entities.” The detainees are accused of “espionage involving foreign entities and sympathy with blatant Iranian aggression.”

Around 30 Shia Muslim clerics were among the 41 arrested, as the Gulf monarchy intensifies a campaign of raids and arrests predominantly targeting Shia religious figures and seminary teachers in Bahrain.

The death toll from a suicide attack on a security post in northwest Pakistan rose to 14 police officers early Sunday, authorities said as a self-proclaimed breakaway group of the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.

A suicide bomber and several gunmen detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near the post in Bannu, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province bordering Afghanistan, late on Saturday, senior police official Sajjad Khan said. The attack triggered a shootout, and some officers were killed in the exchange, while others died later after the building collapsed.

Rescuers searched for hours and used heavy machinery to retrieve bodies from under the rubble, Khan said, adding that three police officers were wounded in the attack.

As long as Islam exists, ‘jihadis’ will be a problem. It’s been that way for 1400 years, and there is no indication that it will change. Whether our Ruling Class will continue prating how ‘peaceful’ Muslims are while ignoring the mass murder, or whether they will wake up and decide to do something about it, is an exercise left for the reader.

He seemed a genuinely nice fellow, and appeared sincere in his commitment to the cause. He had attracted quite a following among well-meaning and progressive-minded non-Muslims, many of them Jews. He presented the tantalizing possibility that Islam could be transformed into a more an enlightened version of itself, one that would no longer be the religion of vengeance, violence, and bloodshed.

Was he for real? Or was it taqiyya? There was no way to tell. And it doesn’t really matter, because from a Counterjihad perspective Dr. Jasser is just is dangerous in either case. Islam can’t be, and won’t be, reformed from within, because it is an evolutionarily stable strategy whose core rules block any efforts to change it before they can even begin. Would-be reformers are blasphemers who must be killed.

Non-Muslims who look to Zuhdi Jasser as the great Islamic hope are wishful thinkers pursuing a phantasm. Opponents of Islam who put all their eggs in that basket are wasting their energy on a hopeless quest. And I’m sure that’s just fine from the perspective of the Muslim Brotherhood: “Let the foolish infidels chase after the good doctor! It will keep them out of our hair until we have sufficient numbers and have successfully penetrated all the major redoubts of their culture, after which we can strike the final blow and implement Sharia.”

A group of suspected Islamic State (IS) brides have been arrested in Australia after arriving with their children on flights from Syria.

Three women were immediately taken into custody after two flights with women and children linked to IS landed in Sydney and Melbourne on Thursday.

Kawsar Abbas, 53, who arrived in Melbourne, was expected to be charged with four counts of crimes against humanity relating to slavery, the Australian Federal Police said. Each charge would carry a maximum of 25 ?years in prison.

Burkey, a candidate for Bordesley Green, an inner-city ward, spoke in favour of the Iranian government in the footage, believed to have been posted after Tehran closed the Strait of Hormuz.

The controversy surrounding the banquets organised by Le Canon français shows no sign of abating. The initiative, launched by two young entrepreneurs to revive traditional banquets centred on culinary specialities from across France, has come under fire from the press and the Left on the grounds that it perpetuates an ideology of exclusion and promotes far-right ideas. The rector of the Paris Mosque has spoken out publicly to, in turn, attack these festive gatherings which bring together several thousand enthusiastic guests in towns and cities across France.

In a video dated April 29th, Chems-Eddine Haffiz, rector of the Paris Mosque—who, given his official position, is regarded as a kind of spokesman for Islam in France—lashed out at the Canon français and its banquets: the fact that it celebrates a cuisine featuring pork, he claimed, is proof of a logic of exclusion. He condemns the “4,000 guests gathered around a spit-roasted pig” and accuses them of “symbolically” excluding those who do not share this cuisine—that is to say, Muslims.

His statement was met with outraged reactions from right-wing politicians, as well as from ordinary “canonniers”, as the participants in these popular feasts are known.

The scrapping of the term ‘Islamophobia’ is one thing. But a lecture recently delivered to Swedish students suggests that the country’s political class has a lot more to do in what it describes as its fight against Islamist infiltration.

A man who calls himself Yosef Ahmad on social media has recently shared footage of himself telling young Muslims in Sweden that democracy is incompatible with their religion, because it gives politicians the mandate to decide what is ‘halal’ (allowed) and ‘haram’ (forbidden) instead of Allah.

Reports say Ahmad is connected to Hizb ut-Tahrir, an Islamist organisation banned in multiple countries, including in the UK and Germany. It has even been banned in several Muslim countries.

According to the Doku Foundation, which examines the Islamist environment in Sweden, Hizb ut-Tahrir “advocates that Muslims best protect themselves and their children by studying Islam, as an ideology in stark contrast to secular democracy, in order to avoid becoming receptive to other ideas and thereby counteract assimilation.”

A fourth vessel has been hijacked by Somali pirates, this time off the coast of Yemen. The oil tanker MT Eureka was captured in the Gulf of Aden on May 2 and reportedly taken toward Somalia, marking the latest incident in a renewed wave of Somali piracy, which resurfaced in 2023. Analysts attribute the resurgence to naval resources having turned their attention to Houthi attacks in the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea, and more recently, to the blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.

Data from the International Maritime Organization shows that since 2000, East Africa has been the global hotspot for successful hijackings, with 161 cases recorded. This figure is largely the result of Somali piracy, which peaked between 2007 and 2012. West Africa ranks second, with 52 hijackings over the same period.

It’s the South China Sea, however, that has recorded the highest overall number of piracy incidents, with more than 2,000 recorded since 2000. These were mostly lower-level attacks, alongside 42 successful hijackings. High shipping traffic and the region’s island chains, which provide ideal hiding spots, have contributed to the high frequency of attacks over the years. Incidents of piracy and armed robbery of ships have declined sharply from 142 in 2013 to just 10 in 2024, partly thanks to increased cooperation between states.

A Turkish state-run Islamic association is celebrating its 40th anniversary in Hamburg from May 14 to 17. While the city has provided a public square for the cultural event, the extremist guest list has sparked major controversy.

Although four of the DITIB’s six original speakers were recently disinvited, critics warn that the remaining guests hold extremist and antisemitic views. Islam expert Eren Güvercin highlighted that Furkan Tira?ç?, a Turkish müezzin, has downplayed the Hamas-led October 7 massacre and praised its leader Ismail Haniyeh as a “martyr,” while comparing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Hitler.

Another speaker, Mahmut Sa??r, reportedly used classic antisemitic tropes, referring to a “cursed community” that has “soaked the world in blood for centuries.” With these fanatics onboard, the event continues to face backlash for providing a platform to individuals who glorify terror and spread hate under the guise of religious scholarship.

Sharia “moral police” must be stopped in Europe, a Swedish MEP has warned, as he demands Brussels track and expose groups accused of harassing residents.

Sweden Democrats (SD) MEP Charlie Weimers said an “EU-wide monitoring framework” should be established to count individuals working to implement strict sharia rules, accusing them of “harassment, intimidation, and threats.”

Weimers describes these “self-appointed moral police” as “immoral thugs,” and claims they have been “surveilling neighbourhoods,” with the overall goal being that “sharia shall dominate here in Europe.”

A disused London synagogue was the site of an arson attack early Tuesday, police said, adding to a string of incidents targeting Jews and Jewish sites in the city.

The Metropolitan Police said its officers responded to a call at 5:15 a.m. local time about a fire set outside the Nelson Street Synagogue in London’s East End, once home to a large community of Jewish immigrants.

The synagogue closed in 2020. A Muslim group announced earlier this year that it had put down a deposit to buy the building and turn it into a mosque and education center.

The fire was quickly extinguished, causing no injuries and only light damage to the building’s gates and lock, the police said, adding that counter terrorism officials would pick up the investigation.

Last night a van full of culture-enrichers crashed in Middelkerke while attempting to avoid a police checkpoint. It turns out that the passengers in the van were trying to join fellow migrants with the goal of crossing the North Sea to Britain, the land of milk and hummus and underage white girls.

At least four ships have been hijacked off the coast of Somalia in recent weeks, stoking fears of a piracy resurgence in the region. Officials say the rise in attacks is connected to the war in Iran, as pirates are taking the opportunity to act while naval forces are preoccupied with the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. The EU’s Maritime Security Centre Indian Ocean has called for all vessels in the area to maintain “heightened vigilance”, especially between Mogadishu and Hafun.

To understand the significance of this uptick, it helps to look at the longer trend. Piracy off Somalia reached its peak in 2011, when the International Maritime Organization recorded 286 incidents, including both attempted and successful attacks. A coordinated international response, including naval patrols and onboard security, then drove a steep decline, with cases falling to 99 in 2012 and just 12 by 2015. For three consecutive years between 2020 and 2022, no incidents were reported to the IMO in this area at all.

But these figures only tell part of the story. In 2009, most piracy cases were concentrated off East Africa, where 222 incidents, including 48 hijackings, were recorded. By 2010, however, Somali pirates had started to use captured dhows, fishing vessels and merchant ships as “motherships” in order to extend their operational reach. As a result, incidents off East Africa fell to 172, while attacks in the Indian Ocean rose from 27 to 77 (including a rise from two hijackings to 20). Activity in the Arabian Sea also increased over the same period, from two to 16.

The 52-year-old man was tracked down by Taranto State Police after the authorities in southern Italy opened an investigation into domestic abuse and forced marriage following a complaint from the young woman last November.

As reported by Il Giornale, prosecutors say the victim told officers her father had demanded she marry a Kurdish man selected by him and had threatened her with death if she resisted or tried to flee abroad.

The woman had traveled from Iraq to join her family in Taranto, but investigators say she soon found herself trapped in what police described as a family campaign to force her into submission.

According to the allegations, her relatives sided with her father because they believed she wanted to live in a way that was too “Western” and incompatible with their cultural expectations.

When she refused to obey, her father allegedly held her captive inside an apartment in the southern Italian city and subjected her to violence that left her with injuries requiring 15 days to recover.

Qatar has been accused of “eradicating” its Bahá’í religious minority, with families living in the country for decades facing imminent expulsion.

More than 40 per cent of the small Bahá’í population is being targeted for deportation in a “deliberate campaign of religious erasure”, the Bahá’í International Community (BIC), a non-governmental organisation, said.

The community, whose presence in the region predates the modern Qatari state, has been reduced to a few hundred members after decades of systematic discrimination.

A swarthy knife-wielding mujahid of unknown ethnicity terrorized the northern London suburb of Golders Green earlier today, stabbing and seriously wounding two Jews before being subdued by police and arrested. The attacker reportedly yelled (wait for it) “Allahu Akhbar” during his rampage.

Golders Green is known for its large Jewish community. The two victims were Orthodox, i.e. “visibly Jewish”. The two attacks were spread out over several blocks as the Soldier of Allah walked around looking for targets.

Contrary to their usual reticence in such matters, the British authorities have already declared the action to be “terrorism”. An Iranian terror group called Ashab al-Yamin has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Members of a religious sect have been arrested over allegations of sex offences, forced marriage and modern slavery.

More than 500 police officers from a number of forces took part in a raid on the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL) headquarters in Crewe on Wednesday morning.

The group, based at Webb House, a former orphanage, is a Shia religious sect founded by Abdullah Hashem, an Egyptian-American, in 2018.

Federal agents raided 22 locations in Minnesota on Tuesday as part of an investigation into widespread taxpayer fraud.

“Today the FBI with federal, state and local law enforcement is involved in court-authorized law enforcement activity as part of an ongoing fraud investigation,” a Department of Justice spokesperson said in a statement.

The raids focused on 22 prominent businesses, some of them tied to Somali immigrants, including daycares like the “Quality Learing Center” in Minneapolis that drew national attention for fraud allegations.

Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard said on Friday that her government will no longer use the term ‘Islamophobia,’ describing the concept as “problematic”—not least because it “brings to mind the irrational fears of individuals.”

The announcement was music to the ears of the right-wing populist Sweden Democrats, whose MEP Charlie Weimers on Monday said “Islamists exploit ‘Islamophobia’ to advance their agenda and secure EU funding.”

Weimers celebrated that the government was “FINALLY scrapping the made-up concept” for good, as well as the fact it is pushing Brussels and United Nations officials to do the same.

Islamophobia is like arachnophobia—a natural response to a serious threat.

After a man riddled a Jewish-owned restaurant with bullets in uptown Toronto, police accomplished something earlier this month that they hadn’t done following previous attacks on Jewish sites: identify and charge a suspect.

The 35-year-old suspect, Mohamed Mahdi, was arrested just a few days after the April 3 attack and charged with on multiple gun-related offenses.

His arrest provided the first, and to this point only, public pieces of information that could chip away at the mystery that has roiled Toronto’s Jewish community: Who is shooting at these synagogues and Jewish businesses? And how do they keep getting away with it?
