Corsica: Migrant Trouble on the Beach at Sisco

15th August 2016

Read it.

A civil disturbance developed on a beach in Corsica yesterday when the cultural sensitivities of Maghrebins — immigrants from North Africa — led to a violent attack against Corsican natives. The trouble reportedly began when a non-Muslim took photos of a Muslim woman in a burkini. The Muslims took umbrage, and the encounter escalated from there.

Hungary: Migrant Trouble at the Serbian Border

14th August 2016

Read it.

There was serious trouble at the border between Serbia and Hungary last September during the height of the migration crisis. Back then Hungary instituted border controls and started building a fence to try to stem the flood that was crossing from Serbia on the way to Austria and Germany. In one of the worst incidents, a mob of migrants, egged on by a man with a megaphone, reacted violently and stormed the new fence. The Hungarian police responded with tear gas and water cannons directed at the rioters, even when they were on the Serbian side of the border.

Beginning last Wednesday there was a reprise of last year’s ructions. Rioting immigrants broke down part of the fence at the Röszke border crossing, and Hungarian police responded once again with water cannons, without being too finicky about whether the water crossed over into Serbian territory.

It’s important to remember the political context of these events: the current Serbian government is pro-EU, and eager to complete the procedures necessary for it to join the bloc. Serbian politicians are anxious to curry favor with Brussels, and thus follow the EU party line on “refugees”. Hungary, on the other hand, staunchly resists the diktats from Brussels concerning migrants. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is determined to maintain his country’s national sovereignty. This difference of opinion on immigration is currently a source of tension between Serbia and Hungary.

In the civilized world, summer camp means hiking, swimming, campfires, maybe learning how to tie knots. But in Gaza, where Hamas rules, summer camp means learning how to murder Jews. Report: Forced Child Marriages Skyrocketing In Switzerland

12th August 2016

Involving you-know-who.

Swiss news organization The Local reports that the center has uncovered 26 cases of forced marriages where the victims were under the age of 16 this year alone. Some victims were as young as ten years old. In the previous ten years combined the center had found just five cases of forced marriage with a victim below the age of 16.

Anu Sivaganesan, the center’s director, told the local that most of the victims were immigrants from Afghanistan, Eritrea, Iraq, Somalia and Syria. She added that the increase in asylum seekers to Switzerland likely played a factor in the sharp increase in victims.

The US Should Halt UN Aid for Hamas

11th August 2016

Read it.

Sort of a no-brainer.

Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security service, has arrested two aid workers this summer and charged them with funneling funds to Hamas, the terrorist group that controls the Gaza Strip, according to reports. A substantial amount of these funds were provided by the U.S. government for charitable, humanitarian, and development purposes.

But, if these charges are accurate, those funds were diverted for terrorist purposes. Some governments have already suspended contributions to one of the possibly involved charities, World Vision, pending resolution of the matter.

The U.S. should also immediately suspend assistance to Gaza until it can be sure that that funding is being used as intended.

Mohammad El-Halabi, director of World Vision in Gaza, was arrested by Israeli authorities on June 15. An investigation revealed that El-Halabi was a member of Hamas and used his position to divert millions of dollars in resources from their intended use to support Hamas and its objectives.

Philippe de Villiers is a French historian, author, and former MEP. He is among a small minority of French intellectuals in being a conservative Catholic — the great majority of intellectuals in France are atheists. Religious belief is frowned upon among French intellectuals even more than it is among their American counterparts.

The following interview with Mr. de Villiers took place last fall. In it you’ll hear him discuss the Islamization of France and the coming destruction of Europe. It is his conclusion that France has already surrendered to Islamization, and the completion of the process is only a matter of time.

Why ISIS Fears Israel

9th August 2016

Read it.

Israelis live much closer to ISIS than do Americans. ISIS has pledged to conquer the Jewish state and incorporate it into its core caliphate. Yet surprisingly, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has rejected the option of taking the fight directly to ISIS. Instead, faced with an operational threat that could mean the death of hundreds of Israelis at any moment, it has embraced a strategy that has not even been on the U.S. policy menu. Adopting a page from the playbook the United States used to defeat revolutionary Soviet-led communism in the Cold War, Israel is preventing ISIS attacks through a strategy of patient, vigilant deterrence. Obviously, the United States cannot simply adopt the Israeli approach whole cloth. It operates in a different security environment than the Jewish state, which faces a multiplicity of terrorist threats on its borders. But there are important lessons that America can learn to enhance its national security.

Israel’s approach to ISIS is straightforward. Israel seeks to persuade ISIS not to attack it by credibly threatening to retaliate. If you attack us, the thinking goes, we will respond in ways that will impose pain that exceeds any gain you can hope to achieve. As Cold War strategists learned, making this work in practice is demanding. To be effective, deterrence requires three Cs: clarity, capability and credibility. Specifically, this means clarity about the red line that cannot be crossed, communicated in language the adversary understands; capability to impose costs that greatly exceed the benefits; and credibility about the willingness to do so. Failures occur when the deterrer falls short on any one of the three Cs. So, if I draw a red line, you cross it, and I respond with words rather than the decisive punishment threatened, I fail the third C. Whatever excuse I give for not executing my threat, and however earnest my claim that next time will be different, the blunt fact is that adversaries will find my threats less credible.

The Machetes of August

9th August 2016

Steve Sailer reflects on priorities.

It appears that all three police officers involved — the two victims and the one who shot the terrorist dead — were women, which is perhaps not coincidental. But this WSJ follow-up article didn’t mention the sex of the cops.

Now, you might think that this incident has lots of currently interesting themes: a fatal police shooting, toxic masculine resentment of female authority figures, empowered women, a woman with a gun, etc.

But the press hardly has time for that kind of thing when Trump may have been mean to a baby.

This Isn’t Saudi Arabia’s First ISIS Problem

8th August 2016

Since the appearance of the self-described Islamic State—formerly the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)—many analysts tried to trace its political, historical, and ideological genesis. In this article I will draw the attention to some striking parallels between ISIL and the Saudi Ikhwan, another group of terrorists who tormented large populations in the Middle East between 1912–1930, and finally turned against their own patron, Abdulaziz Ibn Saud, the founder of today’s Saudi Arabia, after many years of working together to promote their mutual interests: Ibn Saud’s quest to subdue the Arabian Peninsula and the Ikhwan’s mission to impose their rigid interpretation of Islam on its defenseless communities.

The Meaning of a Martyrdom

8th August 2016

Read it.

An old-fashioned Catholic martyrdom may be possible in a multicultural, late-modern society. But there is still a sense in which it is not supposed to happen here.

Some of the nervousness about calling Father Hamel a holy martyr reflects the limits of that imagination. After all, it would have seemed all but impossible, in the bright optimism of the 1960s, that a young priest of the church of Vatican II should, in his old age, die a martyr’s death in the very heart of Europe.

But it wasn’t, and he did.

Another Day, Another Allahu Akbar

7th August 2016

Read it.

The only ultimate solution to the problem of Islamic terrorism is missionaries. In the meantime, the two remedies on the table are more gun control and less immigration. In recent months, experience in Europe has shown that strict gun control laws do not prevent terrorists from obtaining guns. Experience has also shown that terrorists don’t need guns to be effective; knives, bombs and trucks will do. That leaves immigration controls as the only proposal with even a slim chance of reducing Islamic terrorism–which is what millions of Europeans have now concluded.

Bomby Syrian Refugee Explodes Conventional Wisdom of All-We-Have-to-Doism

6th August 2016

Steve Sailer looks a current immigration policy, of such it can be called.

“All-We-Have-To-Doism” is the conventional wisdom that it would be impractical and extremist to attempt to ameliorate social problems exacerbated by immigration, such as inequality and terrorism, by tightening up on immigration policy.

Instead, the bipartisan consensus is that All We Have To Do is fix the schools or monitor every single electronic communication made anywhere in the world and from that maintain foolproof psychological profiles of every human being’s future behavior, or many other undertakings that are unlikely to work.

For example, All We Have To Do to safely let in a Million Muslim Mob is … well, it turns out to be kind of complicated.

Hamas Diverts Millions From U.S.-Based NGO To Finance Terrorist Capabilities

4th August 2016

Hamas diverted “tens of millions of dollars” from World Vision, a U.S.-based Christian charity, to rebuild its terrorist infrastructure, Israel’s Shin Bet domestic security Shin Bet said Thursday.

The terrorist group reportedly siphoned 60 percent of the charity’s resources in Gaza to reconstruct Hamas’ tunnel network and military installations, in addition to purchasing weapons intended to kill Israelis. This amount translated to roughly $7.2 million each year.

Israeli security personnel arrested World Vision Gaza operations manager Muhammad Halabi on June 15. On Thursday, Halabi, also an alleged Hamas operative, was indicted on several charges related to the case.

Glitz and Gore

4th August 2016

Taki turns over a rock.

The Negresco came to mind recently after the outrage on Bastille Day when a Tunisian small-time crook killed 84 people and injured close to a hundred. The French authorities reacted as usual. They talked tough but are not about to do anything drastic, God forbid, because political correctness prohibits the mention of the culprit’s religion—he was, naturally, a Muslim. In fact the French media, closely shadowed by the odious New York Times, immediately raised the question of little immediate evidence that the attacker had direct ties to terrorist groups. The fact that ISIS claimed it and the perpetrator announced it before the attack meant nothing to the Western media, determined to whitewash Islam.

My question is as follows: Why should radical Islamists take heed when the West’s media refuses to put the blame on those responsible? So-called experts, professors at American universities who offer quotes to hacks writing about the atrocities, are as predictable as they are wrong. “Jihadism has become a kind of refuge for some unstable people who are at the end of their rope and decide they can redeem their lives by dying in the name of a cause” was one of the most egregious quotes I read following the massacre. (It came from a prof at Dartmouth.)

In Germany things are not much better. One week after Nice, a 17-year-old Afghan migrant took an ax and almost beheaded four people in Bavaria. Under German law, a 17-year-old has the same rights and education and financial support as a German juvenile who lives on his own. Isn’t that wonderful? An Afghan thug is given every right to live for free in beautiful Bavaria until he chooses to behead people with an ax, and the word “Islam” is never mentioned. This is the same country that gave us Orlando, and the ally where a father barters away his 11-year-old daughter to men who marry them and then sometimes burn them alive for refusing to work in the poppy fields and produce heroin.

ISIS and the ‘Islamophobia’ Fallacy

3rd August 2016

Read it.

Who does not recall the early 2015 slogan “Je suis Charlie” taking social media by storm, galvanizing the world in solidarity following the ISIS massacre of twelve cartoonists and staffers of the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo? And who has not, even in a mere flash of compassion, displayed the various sad iterations of “Je suis Charlie” in subsequent months, on the heels of additional—lewder, more brazen—orgies of carnage perpetrated by votaries of ISIS? Yet, even as “Je suis Paris,” “Je suis Bruxelles,” “Je suis Beirut,” “Je suis Orlando,” “Je suis Nice” and suchlike came to define our modern times’ indignation in the face of depravity, they also illustrated puzzling indolence, impotence, disorientation and aphasia before a millenarian, apocalyptic malady that many remain ill prepared to call by name—let alone combat and maim.

Just Lie Back and Think of the Multicult

2nd August 2016

These two clips from German TV feature news reports from disparate sources that highlight an agonizing problem for the German multicultural Left: How to discuss the incidence of sexual attacks by “refugees” — which has grown too large to be completely ignored — without aiding the cause of PEGIDA, AfD, and other “extreme right” movements in Germany.

Watching these videos makes you wonder just how many culture-enriching rapes and molestations go completely unreported.

The common theme of the accounts given by the women interviewed in these reports is that it’s more important not to give any oxygen to the right wing than it is to prevent rapes and other forms of sexual violence.

The Sunni-Shia Divide and Islam’s Puzzling Origins

2nd August 2016

Read it.

In my Impact of Islam (2014) and Guide to the Phantom Dark Age (2014) I argued in some detail that Muhammad was a fictitious character conjured to life by the Umayyad Caliphs in the late seventh century in order to justify and legitimize the Arab usurpation of the Persian Sassanid Empire. In the above studies I also suggested that the earliest “Islam” was spread by the Sassanid Empire and that the great “Arab Conquests” of Anatolia, Syria and Egypt were in reality carried out by Persian armies. Certainly the earliest Islam detected by archaeologists is thoroughly Persian in character in terms of art, architecture, iconography, and even pottery. Thus for example, the crescent moon with the star, Islam’s symbol par excellence, is in fact an Iranian religious motif and appears on Persian coins many centuries before the advent of Islam.

In the above two volumes I also argued that the Sassanid king Chosroes II (reigned 590-628) converted to the Ebionite (or Judaic) form of Christianity (or, more accurately, Judaic Jesus movement) and that Ebionitism, popular throughout the Middle East since the fourth century, formed the doctrinal bedrock of what later came to be known as Islam. I suggested too that the Qur’an was originally an Ebionite devotional text written in Aramaic, and that it was only under the Umayyad Caliphs (beginning with Mu’awiya) that the book was transcribed into Arabic — a transcription which changed the meaning of many passages.

I love the smell of conspiracy theory in the mornings.

  • The jihad massacre in Dhaka
  • The truck jihad in Nice
  • The axe attack on the train near Würzburg
  • The massacre in Munich
  • The machete attack in Reutlingen
  • The suicide bomber in Ansbach
  • The halal slaughter of the priest in a Normandy church
  • The surgeon threatened with beheading in Troisdorf
  • The terror mosque in Hildesheim
  • The destruction of a church interior in Hamburg by an Afghan jihadi.

This is why I put up the “Number of days without an Islamic terrorist attack” graphic at the top left of the sidebar. In this video of a weekly demonstration near Modiin Illit, shot yesterday, you see a Palestinian father urging his young son toward a group of IDF soldiers, yelling at them to shoot him, as explained here. What greater honor for a four-year-old boy than to be on the evening news as a “martyr”? The soldiers don’t take the bait; I interpret their reaction as one of disbelief. One of them shakes hands with the boy. The father yells at his son to throw rocks at the soldiers, but he can’t throw hard enough to do any damage.

Sharia and the Moral Economy of Islam in the West

31st July 2016

For the Jihad anarchy and war-economy are holy; the warlords are saints; the crimes are acts of mercy. Jihadism is heated by a religious and apocalyptic narrative, where the destruction of the infidel West and final victory of Islam is the focus. In reality all this serves economic interests while it creates an illusion of religious self-realization — says Abdessamad Belhadj, a social scientist from Morocco who teaches and does his research in Belgium and Hungary, to mandiner.hu (online magazine). Belhadj believes that Muslim migrants have the desire for the elegant West and its lavish lifestyle, but as the crisis of the second- and third-generation migrants shows, they can’t take possession of it. That is why violence can gain ground.

A Very Old War

28th July 2016

Sarah Hoyt gives us the European perspective.

In a truly multicultural society, with REAL religious tolerance, the local church wouldn’t have been commandeered as a mosque (apparently this was a standard humiliation technique for captive populations.)  It was returned to use as a church, and has been such for centuries now, the interior having been ALMOST completely scrubbed clean of arabesque decorations.  ALMOST.  Why almost, you ask?  The wall near the door, around the door, where you can’t avoid seeing them as you leave, was left “decorated.”  It was left so that people would never forget.

Look, people with ancient cultures all in the same place REMEMBER.  They remember in ways that no academic gaslighting, no professorial assurances to the contrary can erase.  For instance, do you know how you can tell which Roman emperors were considered decent by the local people?  they give their names to their kids.  Still.  Trajan, for instance.  And then there are the bad ones, that are also still remembered, but whose names are given to dogs (Nero.)  And then there are the unspeakable ones.  Neither child nor dog is named Caligula.

Well, in the local area, you find some kids named Ibrahim (though that is a bit confusing since local custom does weird things to spelling) but NONE named Mohammed.  (This might be different now, since the Conquista II — this time we pretend to be inofensive — is in progress.)  But back then there were no Moes around.

“I am Palestinian, and I Have Butchered Many Jews”

28th July 2016

Read it. And watch the video.

We reported yesterday on a recent culture-enriching incident from Germany, in which a surgeon named Attila Tan was threatened with beheading by the family of a dissatisfied patient. No ethnicities were mentioned, but the unhappy patient’s father was alleged to have cried “Allahu akhbar!” while brandishing his knife, which provides a clue.

As a follow-up, the TV news report below features an account about what happened from Dr. Tan, who says the man holding the knife claimed to be a Palestinian with ample on-the-job experience in butchering Jews. The fellow evidently assumed that since Dr. Tan was a successful surgeon, he must also be Jewish.

The most dismaying part of the story is that the four suspects have now been released, due to a lack of evidence. It seems that the testimony of the doctor, his two assistants, and a patient — four kuffar witnesses — carries less weight than that of the four Muslims waving knives. Sharia in action in Modern Multicultural Germany!

Men In Iran Are Wearing Hijabs In Solidarity With Their Wives Who Are Forced To Cover Their Hair

28th July 2016

Read it.

I am not making this up.

Unasked: How many of these are being stoned to death as homosexuals?

The images come in response to a call by Masih Alinejad, an Iranian activist and journalist living in New York, who urged men to support her campaign against enforced hijab.

Yeah, you can do that in New York. Just try it in Tehran.

Ms Alinejad runs the My Stealthy Freedom campaign and often shares pictures of women living in Iran who have enjoyed a moment of ‘stealthy freedom’ by taking their hijab off in public. She asked men to support her campaign with the #meninhijab hashtag and by sharing pictures with their heads covered while women pose without hijabs.

Not that the men aren’t doing this in public. The key concept here is ‘stealthy’.

Ms Alinejad has received 30 images of men wearing a hijab since issuing her call on 22 July. She told the Independent some men are also posting their images on their Instagram accounts.

Wow. A whole thirdy people. Out of a population of, what, 70 million? Yeah, that’s a game-changer. Maybe Hillary had something to do with it.

A Third of Danish People Believe the Country Is at War With Islam, Survey Claims

28th July 2016

Read it.

Well, it is, except that the Danes aren’t fighting it. More accurately, Islam is at war with the Danes.

An Islam expert at the University of Copenhagen said the result was “worrying” .

The good news is that a third of respondents actually understand the situation. The bad news is that two-thirds (and all of the Crust) don’t.

The study found the majority of people who agreed with the statement were over age of 70 and typically only educated to high-school level.

Narrative: People who don’t get with the program are mostly old and dumb.
