The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria has released a set of “religious directives” for terrorists to follow to avoid spreading the coronavirus, The Daily Mail reports.

The list, which was recently released in the group’s newspaper al-Naba, advises ISIS members to “stay away from sick people… wash your hands before eating,” and “avoid travel to affected areas.”

Thursday evening President Trump announced the death of al-Qaeda’s chief in Yemen by a US drone strike. The New York Times first reported last week the likely death of Qasim al-Rimi, the founder and leader of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) in a US airstrike, which the president has now confirmed. Days ago Saudi media also began reporting his death.

There’s a problem with the Trump administration’s forthcoming Israeli-Palestinian peace plan, and it’s not the plan itself. The problem is that Palestinians are certain to reject the plan irrespective of its terms. We know this because history tells us so. As Lord Byron once said, “The best prophet of the future is the past.”

On Jan. 23, 2020, it was reported that the Trump administration would soon release its long-awaited plan for peace between Israelis and Palestinians. That plan, the Washington Post reported, was finished in 2019 but “kept under wraps amid political turmoil in Israel.” The plan was finally unveiled on Jan. 28, 2020, but it hardly matters since the Palestinian Authority (PA), which rules the West Bank, announced long ago that it would oppose the plan.

Indeed, the PA initiated a public campaign against the so-called “deal of the century” back in 2018 — before its terms were fully formulated, much less public.

The problem with all such ‘peace plans’ is that if one side wants war, you’ll get war.

The ‘Palestinian’ Authority’s problem is the same as that of the Democrats: They’ve been brainwashing their ‘base’ toward extremism for two generations, and so anything other than total surrender by Israel/Republicans (which isn’t going to happen) will be automatically rejected. This means that no agreement is possible.

An elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander has been shot dead by masked assailants in front of his house in southwestern Iran. The shooter opened fire in a classroom building on Friday morning, which suggests he was on the base for a reason. The assailant managed to kill three others before he was killed by officers with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, who arrived on the scene and fatally shot the suspect after exchanging gunfire. FBI and ATF agents also responded to the scene.

At least eight others, including two police officers, were wounded in the cross-fire.

It has been widely reported that Usman Khan, the London Bridge terrorist, was released from prison in December 2018 after serving half of the term to which he was sentenced in 2012. Khan was one of a group of nine jihadists who were arrested in 2010 for plotting to blow up the London Stock Exchange. They also contemplated “Mumbai-style” terrorist attacks, and one of the plotters had a hit list that included the names and addresses of the Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral, Boris Johnson (then Mayor of London), two rabbis–naturally–and the US Embassy in London.

The Daily Mail now reports that of the nine, only two are still in prison, while the remaining six were released, like Khan, well before their terms had been served. Their whereabouts are unknown.
