This Sunday at Speakers’ Corner, the well-known “home of free speech”, Christian evangelist Hatun Tash was brutally stabbed by a man wearing a black Islamic robe. Hatun collapsed with blood running down her face and arm. She had to be taken to hospital to get her wounds treated. It is almost a miracle that she survived and wasn’t more seriously injured. As Hatun herself has said: “Watching the video, the intention is clearly to kill me.”

Using the alias Marcella Flores, the Iranians patiently built up a relationship with their targets “over years” to convince them to open malware-laden emails on useful devices – even sending a video of “herself” to sucker in her unwitting targets.

“Once the malware, which is an updated version of Liderc that Proofpoint has dubbed LEMPO, establishes persistence, it can perform reconnaissance on the infected machine, save the reconnaissance details to the host, exfiltrate sensitive information to an actor-controlled email account via SMTPS, and then cover its tracks by deleting that day’s host artifacts,” said the infosec outfit in a blog post published today.

The chief of staff of the Israeli military, Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, often describes the armed Islamist organizations situated on Israel’s borders as “terror armies.” They target civilians indiscriminately just like other terrorist entities do, yet unlike other terror groups, they also control territory, and have developed into organized, hierarchical, structured fighting forces. Hizballah, Hamas, and Iranian-backed Shi’ite militias in Syria and Iraq all have weapons arsenals and their own combat doctrines, much like the armies of states.

A core part of their combat doctrines involves embedding their forces and rocket launchers deep in crowded civilian areas, using them as firing centers to rain down projectile fire on Israeli cities, and using the people who live there as human shields to limit the IDF’s counter-action options.

For many years it has been well-known that the bulk of hateful speech and behavior towards homosexuals in Western Europe comes from culture-enrichers. Two mischievous young high-spirited “Swedes” have been convicted of gang-raping a 14-year-old mentally retarded girl. The Luleå District Court threw the book at them: five years in prison, followed by deportation. As for the deportation part, I’ll believe it when I see it. They were already supposed to have been deported prior to the crime, and refugees-welcome volunteer lawyers pull out all the stops to make sure that nobody, no matter how vile, can ever be deported from Sweden. So we’ll see.

IN THE DUNES north of Riyadh, the Saudi capital, the sun sets and the party begins. Girls discard their abayas, the black shrouds that envelop them in public, and begin jiving to techno music with boys. A few swig from bottles, but most prefer Captagon pills, nowadays the Gulf’s favourite drug, at $25 a pop. They call it Abu Hilalain (Father of Two Half-moons), after the two letter “c”s (for Captagon) embossed on the pills. Part of the amphetamine family, it can have a similar effect to Viagra—and conquers sleep. “With one pill,” says a raver, “we can dance all weekend.”

In the Moslem north state governors and other local politicians complain of the inability of the security forces, controlled by the national government, to restore order and allow essential commerce to resume. It is now claimed, with some justification, that Boko Haram-related deaths in the last decade are not just the 35,000 killed by Boko Haram members, but that number and the collateral deaths resulting from lower living standards, less medical care and infrastructure in general. That puts the total Boko Haram caused deaths in a decade to over 300,000. The Islamic terrorists have had help from the growing number of non-religious gangs and tribal militias that adopt the Boko Haram terrorism tactics but just do it for the money, not as part of some plan to install a religious dictatorship in the north. This mass banditry has been growing in the northwest and spreading south, where it meets stiff resistance from areas that are not majority-Moslem, as is most of northern Nigeria. The northern politicians don’t like to dwell on the fact that in the north Moslem politicians often profit from the growing outlaw culture. Such collaboration was considered normal before the Islamic terrorism proliferated in the last fifteen years.

Iranian-backed militant groups claim to have launched at least 150 attacks against American forces in the region in 2021 alone.

A video posted on the social media site Telegram by the Kawthariyoun Electronic Team, a channel associated with Iran-backed militias in Iraq, indicates the United States faces immediate danger amid Biden administration efforts to pull forces from Afghanistan and decrease the U.S. footprint across the region. The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), a jihadi watchdog group that monitors these communications, translated the terrorist group’s latest propaganda film.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D., Calif.), the House Intelligence Committee member who was targeted by a foreign spy during his early days in Congress, has met twice in the past nine months with a Hamas-linked charity that spends hundreds of millions of dollars each year to influence U.S. universities.

Swalwell and four other House members visited the Qatar Foundation headquarters in April during a four-day trip hosted by the US-Qatar Business Council, according to an itinerary of the junket. The delegation met with Qatar’s emir, government leaders, and Qatar Foundation officials to discuss business opportunities for the members’ districts. The trip drew attention after photos surfaced of Swalwell and Rep. Ruben Gallego (D., Ariz.) riding shirtless on camels in Qatar’s desert. Swalwell also visited Qatar Foundation headquarters with two fellow Democrats during a trip to Doha last October.

An Iranian intelligence officer and three alleged members of an Iranian intelligence network have been charged in Manhattan with plotting to lure a U.S. journalist and human rights activist from New York to Iran, authorities said Tuesday.

An indictment in Manhattan federal court alleges the plot was part of a wider plan to lure three individuals in Canada and a fifth person in the United Kingdom to Iran. Victims were also targeted in the United Arab Emirates, authorities said. The identities of the alleged victims were not released.

As I reported last month, a 13-year-old Austrian girl was doped, raped, and strangled by four Afghan “youths” in what seems to be a classic instance of what is commonly called “grooming”.

Since then a third suspect has been arrested, and the fourth is still on the run, probably outside the country. The case has caused an uproar in the country, with native Austrians divided into two groups: on the one hand, politically correct people who vehemently deny any correlation between ethnicity and criminality, and on the other, more traditional Austrians who are outraged by the atrocity and demand changes in the country’s asylum laws.

I reported last week on the shooting of the Dutch investigative journalist Peter R. de Vries, who specialized in investigations of organized crime in the Netherlands.

The dominant criminal mob in the Netherlands is run by Ridouan Taghi, a Moroccan-Dutch criminal who has been in detention in the Netherlands since he was captured in Dubai in 2019. It seemed the “Mocro Mob” was probably behind the hit on Mr. De Vries.

At least seven Afghan pilots, including Zamaray, have been assassinated off base in recent months, according to two senior Afghan government officials. This series of targeted killings, which haven’t been previously reported, illustrate what U.S. and Afghan officials believe is a deliberate Taliban effort to destroy one of Afghanistan’s most valuable military assets: its corps of U.S.- and NATO-trained military pilots.

In so doing, the Taliban — who have no air force — are looking to level the playing field as they press major ground offensives. The militants are quickly seizing territory once controlled by the U.S.-backed government of President Ashraf Ghani, raising fears they could eventually try to topple Kabul.

Actually, this report is unusual for Germany in that it mentions the fact that the alleged perpetrators looked like Arabs, rather than the more customary “of Southern appearance.”

Palestinian terror groups recruit and train children to serve as soldiers through summer camps established in the Gaza Strip, prompting outrage from an international legal group that has documented the camps and accuses the militant groups of war crimes.

The United States has resumed its criticism of Shia rebel refusal to negotiate until restrictions on smuggling and control of food aid in the north were removed. This comes two weeks after an American announcement that they were changing their negotiating strategy in Yemen by recognizing the Shia rebels as a legitimate rebel movement rather than a terrorist organization and tool of Iranian foreign policy. That foreign policy is often controlled by the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) that was created in the 1980s to protect the religious dictatorship that rules Iran. The American policy change was bad news for the Saudis and the Yemeni government because Iran has been visibly in charge since late 2020, after Iran sent a Quds Force (the IRGC branch that handles foreign wars) general to be the Iranian ambassador to Yemen. Since 2015 most of the embassies and government ministries have left for the southern city of Aden, which is the temporary capital elected government the rebels are trying to replace. Iran is one of the few countries to recognize the rebels as the legitimate government and now Iran has an official ambassador in the capital. The rebels insist that because they occupy the capital and control over a third of the population, they are the real government and their opponents are southern separatists or foreigners. This ignores the fact that many of the people in rebel territory are kept in line via threats to cut off access to food, medical supplies and imported items. Tribes that try to break away risk starvation and a blockade of roadblocks and attacks on smugglers trying to get in. More and more tribes have been able to break away but the rebels have maintained a presence around many towns and cities.

Convicted terrorists linked to the Islamic State and al-Qaeda led religious services at one-third of the federal prisons audited by a federal watchdog, a practice officials say presents safety and security risks.

The Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General found that convicts linked to the terror groups led classes at four out of twelve Bureau of Prisons facilities, according to a report released Wednesday. Bureau of Prisons staff members worry terror-linked inmates could use the religious services “as a method to obtain power and influence among the inmate population,” the report says. The Bureau of Prisons operates 122 facilities across the United States.

The pace of attacks on Americans in Iraq is picking up after Biden’s airstrikes along the Iraq-Syria border late last month were meant precisely as deterrence and as a response to prior drone attacks. Clearly it didn’t work, but only served as but the next escalation portending more to come.

At least 14 rockets hit Ain Assad base Wednesday in the second such attack on the installation in as many days. US, Iraq, and other Western allied forces operation from the large base in western Anbar province. It’s unclear whether the two injured are Americans or partner forces (the coalition spokesman initially assessed three injured before revising down to two).

A series of cyberattacks aimed at shutting down pro-Israel social media accounts and spamming Israelis with abusive messages during the military conflict with Hamas was coordinated by a Malaysian “troll army,” according to researchers who have been tracking the network’s activities.

The campaign was “organized and led by a network of Malaysian anti-Israel and extremely influential organizations and groups, with hundreds of thousands of combined views and followers,” according to research published by the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center. Thousands of Israelis and pro-Israel leaders were targeted, including high-profile officials such as former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Ridouan Taghi is a Moroccan-Dutch mobster who has been in detention in the Netherlands since he was captured in Dubai in 2019. He is considered the most powerful and dangerous figure in Dutch organized crime (see previous posts on Mr. Taghi).

Peter R. de Vries is a Dutch investigative journalist who specializes in organized crime. In the Netherlands, as in most of the rest of Western Europe, organized crime is dominated by culture-enrichers. In the Dutch case, they’re mostly Moroccans, known colloquially as the Mocro Mob, with Ridouan Taghi as their leader. Mr. De Vries’ investigations had reportedly earned him a place on the hit list of the Mocro Mob, and now it appears that the hit against him has been carried out.

I’m going to go out on a limb and take a guess that this was a bona fide hate crime. I also guess that it would be a big deal if the victim were black, Muslim, gay, trans, or some combination thereof, so long as the (alleged) perpetrator fit the requisite profile.

Last Saturday a 13-year-old girl was murdered in Vienna, allegedly by two Afghan migrants. The suspected killers are considerably older than their victim, 16 and 18. And, like thousands of other “child” asylum seekers in Europe, they may well be much older than their ostensible ages.

Ten years or so ago, when I was covering the cultural enrichment news from Sweden, I learned about a strange practice that Swedish TV news engaged in to protect the privacy of suspects in incidents of violent crime: not only did they pixelate out the faces of the alleged perps, but they lightened the skin tone, to make it seem like the thugs were ordinary Swedes. And this was done when police were actually seeking help from witnesses in finding the suspects. It made no sense whatsoever; it was completely insane. But that’s Sweden for you.

The Turkish Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief (IHH) has established a commendable record of providing aid in Muslim-majority countries. Most notably, it provides support to orphaned children – both Muslim and non-Muslim – and provided aid to war-torn Darfur.

But IHH also has a darker side, much of which has come to light during the ongoing trial of terrorists involved in the 2015 bombing of a peace rally in Ankara. Allegations linking IHH to the Islamic State are only the latest in a long history of accusations detailing the charity’s links to extremist and terrorist groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and al-Qaida. Moreover, IHH has long engaged in and encouraged anti-Western (especially anti-American) activities and propaganda, particularly during the Iraq war. And most famously, the organization played a central role in coordinating the 2010 flotilla to Gaza, which was purportedly sent to provide humanitarian and medical aid to Palestinians, but which, in fact, had a quite different purpose: to launch an attack on Israeli commandos. According to the International Institute for Counterterrorism, videos of activists aboard the Mavi Marmara, reveal “statements from IHH members calling for jihad, martyrdom, and violence.”

Sätra is a culturally enriched suburb south of Stockholm. In the following video you’ll see a mob hit take place on the outdoor terrace of a café in Sätra. Nizar Banat had been arrested by PA forces who broke into a relative’s house where he was staying in the early hours of Thursday and hit him repeatedly with a metal rod before arresting him, according to Banat’s family.

Banat’s death has sparked three days of protests in the occupied West Bank and calls from the international community for an inquiry.

On Saturday, Palestinian security officers lined the streets and blocked protestors by hitting them with their fists and with clubs, Reuters video showed.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) rescinded a 2018 job offer to run its Dallas-Fort Worth chapter at least in part because the candidate was a Christian.

A year earlier, the staff at CAIR’s New York chapter was so concerned about the behavior of National Litigation and Civil Rights Director Lena Masri, that they debated whether they had an obligation to report her to the state Bar.

In both cases, staffers expressed concern about the harm that could result if these incidents became public. Now they have, but only because CAIR has sued a former employee-turned relentless critic for defamation.

My favorite sentence in the following video from Italy begins with: “A policeman shot a convicted foreign felon in the groin…” I know it’s naughty of me, but I can’t help but feel a frisson of glee when I hear about a violent culture-enricher getting his just deserts in that particular fashion.

However, it looks like the cop is going to face legal action for using “excessive self-defense”. In this clip Silvia Sardone of the Lega expresses her solidarity with the vigilant officer who put a dangerous felon out of action, at least temporarily.

A Somali immigrant murdered three women and wounded six more in Wurzburg, Germany on Friday. Initial news accounts expressed puzzlement over the murderer’s motivation, but most now acknowledge that “Allahu Akbar” provides a clue.

At a moment the clock is said to be winding down toward a nuclear deal in Vienna, with both sides expressing increased frustration that things are dragging on too long, Tehran is playing hardball with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Once again it’s over access to the country’s nuclear sites according to prior arrangements: “The speaker of Iran’s parliament said on Sunday Tehran will never hand over images from inside of some Iranian nuclear sites to the U.N. nuclear watchdog as a monitoring agreement with the agency had expired, Iranian state media reported,” Reuters writes Sunday.

A Somali culture-enricher went on a stabbing rampage today in the German city of Wurzburg, killing three people and wounding a number of others. The victims seem to have been chosen at random. The alleged perpetrator was shot in the leg by police and is now in custody.

While there’s been no official Israeli confirmation of their involvement, reputable news outlets in the US and elsewhere report that Israeli forces are believed to have carried out the attack.

The New York Times reports that the plant was included in an Israel “Target Bank” presented by Israel to senior members of Donald Trump’s administration in early 2020, part of a target list for possible attacks against Iran’s nuclear program.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett appeared to hint Thursday — the day after the attack — that Israel may have been involved when he spoke to a graduating ceremony for Israeli Air Force pilots: “Our enemies know — not from statements, but from actions — that we are much more determined and much more clever, and that we do not hesitate to act when it is needed.”

Pakistan’s tolerance for radicalism has deadly consequences for its neighbors. “India is the second largest Muslim nation in the world and Bangladesh has a large Muslim community where there is a section which can be expected to lead to violent protests and embrace radicalization,” said Ambassador Trigunayat.

India has been victimized by Pakistani terrorists, including Laskhar e-Taiba, which orchestrated the deadly 2009 Mumbai attack that killed 166 people.

Bangladesh suffered attacks from Pakistani-linked terrorist groups, such Harkatul Jihad al-Islami Bangladesh (HuJI-B), and Jamaat ul-Mujahideen (JMB). JMB maintained ties with Laskhar e-Taiba and sent militants for training in Pakistan. Bangladesh expelled a Pakistani diplomat in 2015 for allegedly smuggling fake Indian currency to finance terrorism.

But, of course, as we all know, Islam is THE Religion of Peace.

Prime Minister Imran Khan recently (the 20 th ) appeared on an American TV news show and confirmed that Pakistan would not allow an American military base in Pakistan once all U.S. forces are gone from Afghanistan this year. Kahn said he feared retaliatory attacks if he did so. Pakistan has been suffering those retaliatory attacks for over a decade, mainly from Pakistani Islamic terrorists inspired by the Taliban, al Qaeda and ISIL (Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant).

But, of course, as we all know, Islam is the Religion of Peace.
