Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson is “extremely worried” about the consequences if more demonstrations go ahead in which the Koran is desecrated, he said on Thursday, amid growing Muslim anger at a series of attacks on Islam’s holy book.

Attacks on the Koran in Sweden and Denmark have offended many Muslim countries including Turkey, whose backing Sweden needs to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, a goal of Stockholm’s following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Kristersson told Swedish news agency TT that further requests had been filed with police for permission to hold protests where desecration of the Koran was again planned.

“If they are granted, we are going to face some days where there is a clear risk of something serious happening. I am extremely worried about what it could lead to,” he said.

What would happen if Christians reacted that way to burning a Bible? Or if patriots reacted that way to burning the American flag? The relevant point is that there is no ‘freedom of speech’ in Islam.

Omar Touray told the U.N. Security Council that half a million people in the 15-nation Economic Community of West African States known as ECOWAS are refugees and nearly 6.2 million are internally displaced. If there isn’t an adequate international response to the 30 million people ECOWAS assesses need food right now, he said, the number of people in need will increase to 42 million by the end of next month.

Touray, who is president of the ECOWAS Commission, singled out the following drivers of insecurity in the region: terrorism, armed rebellion, organized crime, unconstitutional changes of government, illegal maritime activities, environmental crises and fake news.

Two separate jihadi suicide bombings of the Maalbeek metro station in the EU Quarter and Brussels Airport in Zaventem killed 32 people—a number to which, the court ruled on Tuesday, three victims, like the 23-year-old Shanti De Corte who chose euthanasia, must be added since they did not manage to overcome the mental trauma they had suffered.

In addition to the now-official 35 fatalities, nearly 300 people were injured.

The most notorious of all the defendants in Brussels is Salah Abdeslam, who is already serving a life sentence in France for his role in the 2015 Paris attacks, in which he was the sole survivor out of eight.

Radical Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary has a long history of spreading militant radical Islamic ideology in the United Kingdom and has been an influential figure, having pledged his allegiance to the Islamic State and its former leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in 2014.

Choudary was found guilty by a British court of inviting support for the Islamic State and handed a five-year and six-month prison sentence in 2016, though he was released just two years later in 2018.

This week, the BBC reports that Choudary faces fresh terror-related charges and appeared in court where he was accused of taking part in meetings calling for others to support the radical Islamist group Al-Muhajiroun.

Ever since Tony Blair first foisted mass immigration upon Britain in 1997, the Labour Party has been addicted to the Muslim vote—and it’s not something they plan to go cold turkey on any time soon. With two-thirds of Britain’s Muslims voting for Labour, and the party increasing their majority by over 10,000 in seven out of ten seats with large Muslim populations between 2015 and 2017, it’s not hard to see why. There are however, issues involved with such a dependency—and, one might even argue, criminality.

Firstly, there’s the law which allows Muslims to dodge stamp duty, brought in by Labour in 2005. Then there’s the election fraud, aided and abetted in Muslim communities because of ‘political correctness.’ One could hardly forget (unless one were a prospective Labour councillor) the heinous grooming gang scandal, which operated (and still operates) predominantly in Labour councils; some critics have argued this was a deliberate strategy to retain the Muslim vote.

Reports come and go about gender segregation permitted at Labour Party rallies, as they do about the religious influence and coercion brought to bear on Muslims to vote Labour—some of whom are told they will “go to hell if they don’t.” And of course, there are the tests of strengths such as the Batley and Spen by-election, where Labour haemorrhaged the Muslim vote thanks to disagreements over LGBT issues and Mohammed cartoons—in the end, holding onto the seat by the skin of their teeth.

In Western media, criticism of Islamic zealotry is both rare and muted. The reason for such reticence is obvious: any publication that gains widespread attention for its negative analysis and/or mockery of Islam puts its personnel and plant at risk of Islamic ultra-violence. Salman Rushdie, Jyllands-Posten, Charlie Hebdo, and numerous others have provided object lessons on what happens to Islam-critics who become well known to the general public. Most writers see no point in risking violent death or maiming. A publisher has to consider what will happen if his offices are torched and his staff massacred. Best to leave the topic to daredevils like Tommy Robinson and Rasmus Paludan, and keep a low profile.

The Muslim Brotherhood is genteel-seeming front for the Islamization of the West. It provides cover for various groups and individuals (including violent “radicals”) who push for sharia and intimidate the kuffar. Not unsurprisingly, criticizing it directly carries a measure of risk.

For the past few weeks, women archaeologists working on an excavation site near the royal basilica of Saint-Denis in the north of Paris have been subjected to intimidation and insults on the grounds that they wore ‘indecent’ clothing and did ‘men’s work.’ Posters calling for respect for their work and their persons have been put up around the site. The verbal abuse the women have been subjected to has reignited the controversy surrounding the origin of the perpetrators, who belong mainly to North African immigrant populations that have become the majority in certain areas of Seine-Saint-Denis.

Mohamad Barakat, 37, shot Officers Jake Wallin, Andrew Dotas and Tyler Hawes from inside his car on Friday, from about 15 to 20 feet away, before they could even reach for their guns, North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley said at a news conference. Wallin was killed while Dotas and Hawes remain hospitalized in critical condition. Wrigley said Barakat also shot and injured a bystander, who was trying to run away when she was hit twice.

Over 2,300 people have been arrested in connection with the multiple-day riots that shook France earlier this month following the fatal shooting of a teen named Nahel in the Paris suburb of Nanterre.

Many have speculated about a connection between immigration and the rioting, with former presidential candidate Éric Zemmour explicitly blaming French immigration policy during an interview published last Sunday.

“No one can ignore reality anymore,” Zemmour said and added, “in spite of everything, most of the political class wants to believe that it is a social crisis when the root cause is obvious: immigration.”

The Tunisian government has defended its treatment of West African nationals transiting through the country after human rights groups reported that Tunisian authorities expelled hundreds of migrants to the Libyan border.

Tunisia is battling a summer surge of Sub-Saharan African immigration as the country’s ports and cities become major transit hubs for those wishing to enter Europe, sparking a wave of sporadic violent clashes between migrants and locals.

Israeli security forces on Friday killed two Palestinians who carried out a shooting attack against police this week, Israel’s military said.

Israeli forces raided the occupied West Bank town of Nablus, the military said, and “both terrorists were killed following an exchange of fire.”

The official Palestinian news agency WAFA said Israeli troops had cordoned off a house where the two had holed up and that they had been “executed”.

The armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a major faction in the Palestine Liberation Organization, claimed the two men as members and said they had carried out the attack on Israeli police.

Sweden’s latest Quran-burning demonstration, which this time saw an Iraqi national set fire to the Islamic holy book outside of Stockholm’s central mosque on Wednesday, June 28th, as Muslims celebrated Eid al-Adha, has prompted widespread fury across the Muslim world and a diplomatic debacle for the Swedish government as well.

Sweden’s ruling center-right coalition, despite having condemned the desecration of the Islamic holy book and insisting the stunt “in no way reflects the opinions” held by the government, has faced significant backlash on multiple fronts, including—but not limited to—having its embassy in Baghdad, Iraq stormed by an angry mob, the state broadcaster SVT Nyheter reports.

Incensed by the Quran burning, dozens of protesters led by the Shiite cleric Moqtada Sadr gathered outside of the Swedish embassy in the Iraqi capital on Thursday, June 29th, before storming and occupying the building for 15 minutes prior to the deployment of local security forces. Luckily, no one was injured as the embassy’s staff had vacated the premises before its walls were breached by the protesters.

Freedom of speech is not a Muslim value. (Imagine the yawns if they had burned a Bible instead.)

Muslim immigrants in Europe seem to have a thing for deadly dramas involving apartment balconies. Culture-enrichers in Sweden are notorious for “accidents” in which teenage girls suddenly fall to their deaths from balconies after dating infidel boys, or balking at marrying their cousins.

The following report from the Italian city of Turin concerns the trial of an “Italian” who allegedly threw his little stepdaughter to her death from a balcony during a conflict with the girl’s mother.

Scott wrote here about the riots that have paralyzed France for five days. Reuters reports that thousands of rioters have been arrested, rioters have burned 2,000 vehicles, 200 police officers have been injured, and more than 700 businesses have been looted, ransacked or burned to the ground.

All of this was triggered by the death of a 17-year-old named Nahel Merzouk who was shot by a police officer following a traffic stop. But what exactly happened leading up to the shooting? And who was Nahel Merzouk? The liberal London Times has a reasonably honest account.

Apparently the Muslim kid that was shot hadn’t had a chance to view the Chris Rock video “How Not To Get Your Ass Kicked By The Police“.

Riots have convulsed France over the past five nights. The New York Times reports, for example, in a story published in the past two hours “France Arrests Hundreds More in Fifth Night of Unrest.” President Macron scrapped an official trip to Germany in light of the riots, though not before he made it to the Elton John concert in Paris.

The occasion this time around is the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy of North African descent identified as Nahel M. this past Tuesday. Some 45,000 police officers have been deployed across the country for the past two evenings. Although the news reports are not helpful on this point, I take it that the rioters come largely from France’s large Muslim community.

Massive culture-enriching riots in France are continuing into the weekend. The largest group of conflagrations is in Paris and its immediate environs, but copycat riots are springing up all over the country.

The situation is reminiscent of the riots in Clichy-sous-Bois (another suburb of Paris) in 2005. Back then two culture-enrichers fled from the police and crawled into an electrical substation to hide, whereupon they were electrocuted. It wasn’t even the police who fried them — it was their own stupidity. But “youths” set Clichy-sous-Bois on fire anyway.

Eighteen years later their numbers are much greater, and they’re setting the whole country on fire.

The following brief clip shows a Muslim “youth” exhorting his fellow rioters to kill the police. The important thing to note is the Koranic justification for the killings. Muslims don’t try to hide the role their religion plays in deadly violence, but the Western media hide it from their audience — you won’t see evidence like this on major TV outlets.

Social unrest exploded across France thThis week, forcing the government to deploy 40,000 police officers to quell the violence. The turmoil was sparked after police fatally shot a 17-year-old teenager of North African descent during a traffic stop.

This is what happens when you let boatloads of foreigners (pun intended) into your country and expect them to obey the same laws as everybody else.

I strongly suspect that if all black people in the U.S. went back to Africa, U.S. crime rates would plummet. God alone knows what would happen to Africa….

The multicultural Parisian suburb of Nanterre was the site of overnight clashes between youths and police following the shooting of a 17-year-old Arab teen by police in a traffic stop gone wrong.

The teenager, simply known as “Nael M,” was shot dead after failing to comply with an order to stop his vehicle Tuesday, June 27th, as footage of the incident shows one officer opening fire on the car as it attempts to drive away. The violence adds fuel to the flames of the French Republic’s simmering racial tensions that some critics say risk further destabilising the entire country.

The teenager, who was pronounced dead at the scene, first came to the attention of officers after committing multiple traffic violations. Officers claim that two police motorcyclists had been rammed by the car prior to the altercation. The officer who fired the fatal shots has already been detained on murder charges according to the Nanterre prosecutor’s office.

A virulently antisemitic terror-tied group has managed to convince media and politicians that it has been magically transformed into a respectable legitimate “civil rights group.” Created in 1994 by Islamistssupportive of Hamas, the Council on Amesdrican-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has for 29 years systematically engaged in promoting and disseminating vile antisemitic attacks on Jews.

Take, for example, CAIR Michigan Executive Director Dawud Walid, who has invoked religion to attack Jews specifically.

“Who are those who incurred the wrath of Allah? They are the Jews, they are the Jews,” he said in a 2012 sermon. He also blamed “pro-Israeli occupation organizations and activists” for “Islamophobia, and anti-Muslim bigotry,” which he said was “one of the greatest social ills facing American today.”

On June 8, the picturesque city of Annecy, nicknamed “the Pearl of the French Alps,” was convulsed with terror when a knife-wielding man attacked a group of preschool children in a park, at least one of whom was sat strapped into a pram. Four children and two adults were seriously injured. The attack, which was partially filmed by bystanders, horrified France—and the world. The attacker was a Syrian asylum seeker.

In recent years, France has seen a number of attacks by migrants, but to call them “attacks” minimizes the nature of the brutality involved. People aren’t just physically assaulted in the sense most Europeans are familiar with: a punch, a kick, or a push. They are stabbed repeatedly without warning or mercy. They’re run over at high speed while walking on the sidewalk. Some are even beheaded in public. In October of 2020, a French secondary school teacher by the name of Samuel Paty had his head chopped off on the streets of Éragny-sur-Oise, a Parisian suburb. The Chechen attacker in that case was an Islamic extremist called Abdoullakh Abouyezidovich Anzorov. He attacked Paty with a meat cleaver.

Some 500 miles away, in Germany, migrants and refugees regularly carry out abhorrent crimes. On the very same day as the attack in Annecy, Bild, one of Germany’s leading papers, published a shocking story involving an Eritrean who dismembered another Eritrean, before dumping the victim’s body in the forest.

Has the jihadist threat simply become run-of-the-mill? Or has it just disappeared?

You might think either of these to be the case, given how little the media, and particularly the U.S. media, seems to make of them anymore. Arrests of terror cells, the disruptions of plans of attack, shootings and stabbings, particularly in Europe, all go little reported — and are frequently entirely ignored these days by the U.S. press.

But that doesn’t mean they aren’t happening, or that the threat is anywhere near over. As Christine Abizaid, director of the National Counterterrorism Center in Washington, DC, told the Washington Institute in January, “Despite significant progress in diminishing the terrorist threat to the United States, the country continues to face a diversified, transnational, and in many ways unpredictable threat environment both at home and abroad.” And a recent Dutch intelligence overviewof the jihadist threat in Europe and the West cautions, “there are more and more signals that jihadist groups are making preparations for terrorist attacks in Europe.”

Cole James Bridges went to a high school in Clarkesville, Tennessee and worked at a Papa Johns pizza place near Akron, Ohio before joining the United States Army. Mateo Ventura was a high school student in Wakefield, Massachusetts.

Within a week of each other in June 2023, Bridges pled guilty to plotting to help ISIS kill American soldiers, while Ventura was arrested for trying to provide aid to the Islamic State.

Bridges and Ventura, 20 and 18 years old, like Trevor Bickford, 19, of Maine, who was hit with federal charges this year for attacking NYPD police officers with a machete in Times Square, and Xavier Pelkey, 18, also of Maine, who pled guilty in April after trying to recruit two underage teens for a terrorist attack in Chicago, show the rate at which ordinary American teens are converting to Islam and plotting terrorist attacks.

Israeli helicopter gunships struck targets Monday in the occupied West Bank as a gunbattle raged in the city of Jenin between Israeli troops and militants, killing three Palestinians, including a 15-year-old boy, officials said.

The violence marked a rare use of Israeli airpower in the territory. During the clashes, Palestinian militants detonated a roadside bomb next to an Israeli military vehicle. At least 29 Palestinians were wounded, six seriously, and Israeli media said a number of Israeli soldiers were hurt.

The escalation was the latest in more than a year of near-daily violence that has wracked the West Bank.

Although Malaysia has a diverse ethnic, cultural and religious population, the constitution requires all Malay to be Sunni Muslims. Those with the Malay-Muslim identity benefit from an “affirmative action policy” which at both a federal and state level, gives ethnic Malay huge advantages over any other religious groups in decisions concerning quotas, grants, loans and tax benefits. With government agencies such as the Selangor state Islamic Religious Council depicting Christians as “enemies of Islam who always have malicious intentions and are the bearers of lies” and the federal Sedition Act – which criminalises anything that “promotes feelings of ill will and hostility between different races or classes of the population of Malaysia” – being used to suppress religious freedom or punish actions deemed to offend religious sensitivities, it is hardly surprising that life is increasingly hazardous for Christians. It also explains why Malaysia sits at 43 in Open Doors’ World Watch List, which ranks nations by the levels of persecution and discrimination experienced by its Christian population.

Ugandan authorities recovered the bodies of 41 people, including 38 students, who were burned, shot, or hacked to death after suspected rebels attacked a secondary school near the border with Congo, the local mayor said Saturday.

At least six people were abducted by the rebels, who fled across the porous border into Congo after the raid on Friday night, according to the Ugandan military.

Authorities blamed the massacre at Lhubiriha Secondary School in the border town of Mpondwe on the Allied Democratic Forces, a shadowy extremist group with ties to the Islamic State, which has been launching attacks for years from bases in volatile eastern Congo.

Funny how there aren’t any places in the world where there are shadowy Christian groups massacring and kidnapping non-Christians.

Spanish police have claimed that migrant women are travelling to Spain on tourist visas with their children and then abandoning them in the country, telling them to register as unaccompanied minor asylum seekers in a bid to get into the country later through family reunification.

The trend came to light after the arrest of a Moroccan woman, who was charged with child abandonment after her son went to Spanish authorities claiming to be an unaccompanied foreign minor (MENA), a report from the newspaper La Razon states.

Following a rapid investigation into the child’s case, Spanish agents were able to track down the Moroccan woman before she fled the country, and arrested her at an airport. Two others were also detained and made to give statements regarding their possible collaboration with the woman.

In its annual report on terrorism, Europol, the European Union’s law enforcement agency, has revealed that radical Islamist terrorism for the third consecutive year remained the top security threat across the bloc in 2022, as the vast majority of individuals arrested for terrorism-related offenses were motivated by a jihadist ideology.

Europol’s Terrorism Situation and Trend Report 2023 (TE-SAT), a yearly “situational overview presenting figures and developments within the terrorism landscape in the EU,” was presented in the Hague, Netherlands, on Tuesday, June 14th, and revealed that of the 380 people arrested across all 27 member states last year on suspicion of terror-related offenses, 266 people, or 70% of those arrested, were arrested for jihadist offenses.

The report states that, among the 266 people arrested for jihadist-related terror offenses, the most common charges were membership in terrorist organizations, production or dissemination of propaganda, planning and preparing an attack, and terrorist financing. The number of arrests in this category has risen for the past three consecutive years, with 254 arrests recorded in 2020, 260 in 2021, and 266 in 2022.

Prime Minister Kristersson promised reforms that could see violent offenders given heftier prison sentences and a policy that could ban them from certain districts and municipalities.

Kristersson also mentioned that “more people must learn the language,” hinting at the fact many of those involved in gun crime and criminal gangs are from migrant backgrounds, something only recently admitted by Swedish police and others in the Swedish establishment.

Thursday’s sanctions target Mohammad Reza Ansari, an official with a unit of the IRGC-Qods Force “tasked with undertaking covert operations abroad, including planning and conducting intelligence and lethal operations against Iranian dissidents and other non-Iranian nationals in the United States, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa,” according to a release from the US Treasury Department.

“Ansari, with the support of Shahram Poursafi (Poursafi), an Iranian national, planned and attempted to assassinate two former U.S. government officials,” the Treasury Department said.

The US Justice Department announced criminal charges last August against Poursafi for allegedly trying to orchestrate the assassination of Bolton, who served in senior national security positions during the Trump and Bush administrations, likely in retaliation for the killing of IRGC Commander Qasem Soleimani.

A culture-enriching teenager in northern Italy was planning some boisterous activities in association with the civic group known as the Islamic State, but had the misfortune to be detained by the police. I’m sure it’s all just a misunderstanding, and the unfortunate lad will soon be released.

Actually, there’s no indication in the report as to the specific age of the young feller, who may in fact not even be a teenager yet. He might be one of those prepubescent ISIS “cubs” who spend a lot of time in training camps being tutored in special skills by the older mujahideen.

When I began covering European issues more than fifteen years ago, gang rapes were relatively rare in Northern and Western Europe. And when they did happen, the perpetrators were always culture-enrichers. It just wasn’t a pastime that white guys engaged in.

Dozens of torturers who served Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s government have evaded the Dutch immigration authorities’ notice and are walking about freely in the Netherlands, according to a recent investigation.

The matter was brought to light by news outlet Trouw and radio program Argos. Their investigation, published on May 19th, relies on testimony from Syrian refugees who had fled their country due to the Syrian civil war who claim to have encountered their former torturers while in the Netherlands.

Among these is Rehab Abdulftah, who in 2013 was detained for five months in the particularly brutal “Branch 227” in Damascus, which was run by the Syrian military secret service. While walking in Amsterdam, Abdulftah saw one of her former jailers. “Everything that had happened in Syria came back to me, I cried and ran away,” she said, adding that she did not dare go to the police.

Authorities in Germany have arrested two brothers, both Syrian nationals, on suspicion of planning to carry out an Islamist terror attack on a packed church in Sweden, a joint press release by state and federal police and the public prosecutor’s office revealed on Tuesday, May 23rd.

In the joint press release by the German federal police, Hamburg state police, and the Hamburg public prosecutor’s office, authorities say that the two brothers, 24-year-old Ahmad K. and 28-year-old Anas K., were arrested for preparing to detonate a homemade explosive device at an unspecified church in Sweden, the Berlin-based newspaper Die Welt reports.

While 28-year-old Anas K., the case’s primary suspect, was arrested at his home in Hamburg during the early morning hours of April 25th, his brother, 24-year-old Ahmad. K., who was initially only suspected of being an accessory, was arrested on Tuesday, May 23rd, at his apartment in Kempten, Bavaria.

Upon carrying out searches of the brothers’ residences, investigators from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) recovered evidence linking the men to the planned attack, including bomb-making chemicals and clues pointing to the alleged target of the attack on a number of burner cell phones and computers.

Lebanese militant group Hezbollah put on a show of force Sunday, extending a rare media invitation to one of its training sites in southern Lebanon, where its forces staged a simulated military exercise.

Masked fighters jumped through flaming hoops, fired from the backs of motorcycles, and blew up Israeli flags posted in the hills above and a wall simulating the one at the border between Lebanon and Israel.

The exercise came ahead of “Liberation Day,” the annual celebration of the withdrawal of Israeli forces from south Lebanon on May 25, 2000, and in the wake of a recent escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza. Gaza’s militant Hamas rulers and Hezbollah have had long-standing ties.

Catching up with last week’s hard copy Wall Street Journal, I was struck by the numerous uses of “militants” in lieu of “terrorists” or “jihadists” to describe members of Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Take the headline of the May 9 story by Dov Lieber, Aaron Boxerman, and Anas Baba, for example: “Israeli Strikes Kill Senior Militants, Civilians in Gaza.”

Query what you have to do to become a “senior militant.” Does anyone read this stuff or pause to reflect how utterly inane it sounds? But I digress.

The story reported in the opening sentence: “Israeli airstrikes killed three Palestinian militant commanders and 12 others who were mostly civilians in a surprise attack in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, the Israeli military and Palestinian officials said, threatening a new round of escalating violence.”

Going back to May 2, Lieber and Baba also reported the story “Gaza Militants Fire Rockets at Israel After Palestinian Hunger Striker Dies.” You have to be pretty “militant” to fire rockets at civilians.

Newly published figures from the Research and Information Center on Antisemitism (RIAS) in Berlin have revealed that in Germany’s capital city, which percentage-wise hosts one of the largest Muslim populations of any major European capital, more than two antisemitic attacks per day were recorded in 2022.

In its report titled “Antisemitic Incidents in Berlin in 2022,” published on Wednesday, May 10th, RIAS Berlin, which kept track of all antisemitic incidents across all districts, social classes, and political orientations, recorded 848 anti-Jewish incidents of physical and verbal nature, a total which amounts to 2.3 incidents per day, the daily Berliner Zeitung reports.

One incident of extreme violence, 21 assaults, 31 targeted property damage, 24 threats, and 751 incidents of abusive behavior involving, among other things, 36 gatherings and 20 mass mailings were among the 848 antisemitic incidents that were recorded last year, the organization states in its report.

Saman Abbas was a young Pakistani woman living in Italy who was murdered in April of 2021, and is believed to have been honor-killed by her family. Saman’s father fled to Pakistan shortly after her death, and Italian prosecutors have been trying to extradite him for many months. The Pakistani government seems to be deliberately obstructing the process.

After years of campaigning from the Right, the European Parliament finally approved a resolution to call on the Commission to end funding for Islamist organizations and campaigns that glorify the hijab, the Swedish MEP Charlie Weimers (ECR) tweeted on Wednesday, May 10th.

“We have done our part and got the majority in the European Parliament,” Weimers wrote, adding that “it is time for the government to use the Swedish presidency to bring the issue to fruition,” referring to Swedish Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer’s earlier promise to deliver “concrete results.”

The campaign for ending EU funds for Islamist organizations—originally at the initiative of the Sweden Democrats (SD)—has been ongoing since 2019. At first, the Commission was in complete denial of any such funds being disbursed, calling for the MEPs from the SD to prove their allegations.

Alisa Flatow was murdered in 1995 by an Iranian sponsored suicide bomber who plowed his car into a public bus near the Israeli settlement of Kfar Darom in the Gaza Strip. Seven Israeli soldiers were killed along with Alisa. They were all under age 21. Fifty-two passengers were wounded in the attack.

Alisa was remembered by her friend Alan Mitrani in a moving letter posted here at Brandeis University’s memorial page for Alisa. Stephen Flatow was Alisa’s father. He seeks to keep her memory alive and to wage his own battle against the indulgence of what the AP and Fox News are now pleased to call “militants.” This past March Mr. Flatow drew attention to the teaching of a terrorist’s proud mother.

The French university has long been under the strong influence of what one may call ‘Islamo-leftism,’ i.e., the complacency of a part of the academic elite towards militant Islam, preventing any critical distance and any analysis of the Muslim religion and world. A researcher has just paid the price, seeing her planned conference at the Sorbonne on the Muslim Brotherhood ‘suspended,’ supposedly for security reasons.

A conference by Florence Bergeaud-Blackler, a researcher at the prestigious Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), was scheduled for May 12th at the Sorbonne for her book on the Muslim Brotherhood, entitled Le frérisme et ses réseaux : l’enquête, (Muslim Brotherhood and its networks: an investigation) published in January by editor Odile Jacob. On May 9th, the researcher received a notice from the dean of the Sorbonne’s Faculty of Letters, informing her that the conference had to be ‘suspended’ for security reasons. The person in charge did not even bother to make a phone call to inform the speaker personally.
