After the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel, many Jews around the world are choosing to arm themselves for self-defense, according to a panel of Jewish professionals.

“Jews tend not to own guns, and that’s very unfortunate, because if you look at our history, we could’ve used one or two throughout that time,” Karol Markowicz, a columnist for the New York Post and Fox News, said at the Jewish Gun Ownership and Self-Defense event at The Heritage Foundation on Thursday. The Oct. 7 attack is what convinced Markowicz, who is Jewish, to become a gun owner and get both a handgun and an AR-15. She said she believes the terrorist attack has created a shift in the Jewish community and now more people are inclined to arm themselves.

“When I went shooting on Oct. 10, [there were] tons of Jews at the shooting range. [A] girl walks out with a Chanel bag and a big Jewish star, and we give each other kind of a nod,” Markowicz said.

A New York University student suspended from campus and stripped of her scholarships for tearing down posters of Israeli hostages is now begging for financial support “to cover costs for therapy.”

Hafiza Khalique on Wednesday posted the GoFundMe, in which she portrays herself as a victim of “racist doxxing, Islamophobia, intimidation, [and] targeted smear campaigns.” The fundraising effort comes weeks after NYU quietly suspended Khalique for vandalizing “university property or the property of others,” a reference to Khalique’s decision in October to tear down posters of Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

Khalique, who has already raised roughly half of her $10,000 goal, said in her GoFundMe description that the “inflammatory” posters were “used to normalize Israel’s genocide against Palestinians.” She also announced her intention to leave NYU, citing a “hostile environment” that has driven her to seek therapy.

“Fatphobic” … that must have hurt.

California coffee shop workers were filmed denying a Jewish customer access to the restroom after she complained it was filled with antisemitic graffiti — telling her “Free Palestine” and accusing her of wanting to use the facilities because “Israel loves taking private property and saying it’s their own.”

Three employees at Farley’s East in Oakland stood in front of the bathroom and told a distressed-sounding woman filming them that she had to leave.

“I want to go in the restroom,” the woman repeatedly implores the staffers, who tell her it’s private property even while confirming she was a customer who’d eaten there.

The German Ministry of the Interior has proposed a draft amendment to its Residency Act to redefine what constitutes human trafficking into the EU—a move which could criminalize the work of ‘search and rescue’ NGOs operating on the Mediterranean Sea, EU Observer wrote.

Existing German laws already prohibit facilitating irregular entries into the EU for the sake of financial gain or personal advantage, which means NGOs can ferry migrants from the Libyan and Tunisian shores to Europe under the term ‘rescue’ unobstructed.

While several EU countries, including Italy and Greece, have already passed legislation to clamp down on the systemic abuse of sea rescue regulations observed when it comes to North African migrants, Berlin remained the biggest defender—and financier—of these shady NGOs.

There are better adverts for Islam than Mohammed Hijab, but he is one of the biggest in contemporary Britain. A “debater and public speaker” with enough self-awareness to call himself “Instigator-in-Chief” on his Twitter account, he is a very 21st Century Islamic evangelist. Charismatic and quick-witted, he also enjoys being at the centre of a fuss.

Mr Hijab led demonstrations amid the communal discontent between Muslims and Hindus in Leicester last year. He has become a regular on Piers Morgan Uncensored — which is, one must admit, a good way not to be the most obnoxious man in the room. Now, a clip has emerged in which Hijab warns people who “attack the sacred symbols of Islam” that “we have Muslim gangsters … we can’t stop Muslim gangsters from dealing with you”.

Now, to be fair, we have to assume that saying “we can’t stop” implies that Mr Hijab doesn’t endorse the actions of these “Muslim gangsters”. Still, it is not something I would be proud to admit about my co-religionists.

The war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas has enhanced and made obvious the Jew-hatred that has been endemic among German Muslims for a long time. And, predictably, anybody who says anything negative about the behavior of Muslims in Germany is being called an “Islamophobe”.

The Biden administration is demanding that Israel take even more extraordinary measures to avoid harming “innocent civilians” as it tries to eradicate Hamas. Around the world, politicians and others express dismay at the alleged number of innocent civilians who have been killed by Israeli bombardments, even while admitting that Hamas’s casualty numbers include its own terrorists, people killed by terrorists’ awol missiles, and so on.

But my complaint is more fundamental. Watching videos of Israeli captives being paraded through Gaza, and seeing “civilians” spitting on them, hitting them, joyously celebrating their capture, I have asked: where are these innocent civilians we keep hearing about?

After the Holocaust, the American Jewish community, like most liberals, reduced the mass murder of millions of Jews to a problem of intolerance and prejudice. A massive effort was undertaken to educate about what had happened rather than what was happening.

While the first Holocaust museums were being built, the persecution and killing of Jews had mostly shifted over to the Soviet Union and its allies in the Arab Muslim world. American Jews failed to grapple with this shift much as they failed to come to terms with the reality that black nationalist groups were quickly eclipsing the KKK when it came to the domestic hatred of Jews.

The trial for six teenagers linked to the Islamist murder and beheading of French teacher Samuel Paty in October 2020 began this week at a juvenile court in Paris.

The teens, who were aged between 13 and 15 at the time of Paty’s murder, are accused of various charges, including identifying the teacher to Chechen Abdoullakh Anzorov, who went on to behead Paty in the Paris suburb of Yvelines before being shot and killed by French police.

The youngest, who was just 13 at the time of the murder, is reported by the BBC as being the daughter of Brahim Chnina, who was the main driver of a social media campaign against Paty after the 13-year-old alleged that Paty had shown depictions of the Islamic prophet Mohammed to the class as part of a lesson on free expression.

The Iranian public prosecutor’s office has slapped a prominent newspaper with charges over the publication of a top-secret government document outlining the country’s volunteer morality guards – guys who go around whacking women for not wearing hijabs and other violations of Sharia law, who are separate from (but similar to) the country’s official morality police.

According to DW, citing the judiciary’s Mizan news, a reformist daily newspaper, Etmad, published the “highly confidential” document – an instruction from the Interior Ministry regarding the deployment of thousands of morality guards to enforce the country’s Hijab dress code for women.

While the Iranian government has sought to portray the morality guards as nothing more than civilian volunteers who aren’t part of the ministry, or the official morality police. But the leaked documents shows deep links between the group and the ministry.

Islam is an oppressive totalitarian ideology masquerading as a religion with which no co-existence is possible.

The U.S. military’s Central Command said in a statement early Monday that its forces and allies, including the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Mason, responded to the seizure and demanded the armed assailants release the tanker.

“Subsequently, five armed individuals debarked the ship and attempted to flee via their small boat,” Central Command said. “The Mason pursued the attackers resulting in their eventual surrender.”

The Central Command did not identify the attackers, but said a missile launch from Houthi-controlled Yemen followed early Monday morning.

A transgender TikToker gushed about studying the Quran, claiming that Allah was “beyond gender”.

The clip, which went viral on X, features an effeminate biological male wearing make-up and sporting a thin mustache talking about how excited he is having “just started reading the Quran.”

The they/them explains how he started studying the book after seeing posts about it on social media and teaching materials for both Muslims and non-Muslims.

I think it’s too late — the process is already too far advanced. When I first met with the Sweden Democrats back in 2007, a reversal of the trend was still barely possible. But not any longer.

In Dublin on Thursday, a middle-aged man, a naturalized citizen said to be from an Islamic country, went on a stabbing spree outside an elementary school. Before passersby brought him down, three small children and two adults lay bleeding from their wounds. Within hours, parts of Dublin were burning. Why? “The far right,” said an Irish police official—a claim dutifully magnified by the nation’s woke media.

Don’t you believe it. Brian Kaller, a Dublin friend and independent journalist who went onto the streets to see what the ruckus was about, wrote me to say the people he interviewed leaving the riot area said the initial protest had been peaceful, but it turned violent when the police tried to break it up. The looters, the people told Kaller, didn’t look Irish. Kaller added that Ireland, which doesn’t even have a conservative political party, has no ‘far right’ to his knowledge, “but this is the way to create one.”

A newly released study shows, for the first time in French history, that the second most widely spoken language in the country is dialectal Arabic, with an estimated population of between three and four million speakers. The resulting population ratio in favour of people mainly of North African origin is fraught with consequences.

The IDF has carefully overtaken and explored the tunnel system that converges on Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital. The IDF seeks to expose the Hamas way of war as inherently criminal — a point that has gotten lost in the media shuffle.

Shifa Hospital director Muhammad Abu Salmiya was arrested yesterday along with several other hospital staff members while attempting to evacuate southward along the humanitarian corridor — i.e., the escape route.

When the story of the gang attack in France appeared in the news feed several days ago, the article was very careful not to mention ethnicity. I wondered if it might be gypsies, since it occurred in a rural area, but no, it has since emerged that it was African and/or Arab “youths” — the usual suspects.

A tragedy occurred a few days ago in the small town of Crépol, in the Drôme region of southern France. During a village ball, some individuals appeared, spreading panic and terror and causing the death of Thomas, a boy of 16. Today, journalists and politicians are engaged in a veritable battle of semantics. A mere news item or a major event? Ordinary violence or savagery? A brawl or an assault? Every word used to describe this episode has far-reaching consequences. Once again, the Left shines in its denial of reality concerning both the origin of the attackers and the nature of the victims.

After a few days of uncertainty about the exact sequence of events, the facts are gradually beginning to be reconstructed with precision. On the night of November 18, 300 to 400 young people gathered in the village hall of the small village of Crépol in the department of Drôme for “a simple dance party with a sound system, organised by the village’s festivities committee,” according to Martine Lagut, the mayor of the village.

A gang of individuals broke into the party and spread terror by attacking the participants with knives. A youngster of 16, Thomas, a member of the local rugby club, was killed. He died of a stab wound during his transfer to a hospital in Lyon. Two others are still in critical condition. In all, there were 17 victims.

The accumulation of evidence against the killers—young people from North African immigrant families—has not prevented a number of left-wing columnists from persisting in their denial. One of them, on the set of BFM TV, refused to dramatise the situation and drew a parallel between the Crépol tragedy and the children’s novel La guerre des boutons (The War of the Buttons), recounting children’s fights in the countryside in days gone by—a terrifying blindness given the seriousness of the events. Others have tried to shift the blame by accusing the bouncer in charge of security at the entrance of the ball of possible “racial profiling.” In brief, the victims “had it coming.” The accusation of “recuperation,” as in the atrocious case of the murder of little Lola, was also repeated by journalists. Again on BFM TV, they condemned the allegedly far-right scenario of “these people from the suburbs that would go all the way to the countryside to attack these peaceful French people.” “It’s a gross exaggeration,” concluded the presenter on the set.

I first started researching Tablighi Jamaat almost eighteen years ago, in December of 2005. That was not long after I began investigating Jamaat ul-Fuqra. The results of web searches for both organizations overlapped, due to the commonality of the word “Jamaat” — that’s how I found Tablighi Jamaat.

[“Jamaat” means “community”, or “group”, or “association”. Jamaat ul-Fuqra is the “community of the impoverished”, while Tablighi Jamaat means, roughly, “association of preachers”.]

Back then Tablighi used to skate by without being declared a terrorist group, because it never engaged in any of the wetwork itself. It was billed as an educational group, and the bombing and throat-slitting were always done by some other outfit — Jamaat ul-Fuqra, Al Qaeda, and some years later the Islamic State.

Based on the following investigative report from Italy, Tablighi Jamaat is now a rising star in the world of Islamic supremacism. It is unabashed in its assertion that Islam will eventually conquer Rome and other infidel lands, and that the conquest will require a massive amount of bloodshed.

Civilized nations have spent generations trying to convince themselves that the primary religious and national impulses of the Muslim world come down to more than conquest and mass murder.

The horrors of the past few years in Afghanistan and Israel both came down to the mistaken belief that you could negotiate and reach an agreement with Jihadist movements.

Both D.C. and Jerusalem had become enchanted with diplomatic initiatives to the Muslim world, from the Abraham Accords to two years of relative peace with Hamas, politicians, generals and diplomats were convinced that they had finally unlocked the secret of coexistence.

But there’s no perpetual motion machine, no diet that lets you eat what you want and no coexistence with an ideology that is built on conquering and destroying all outsiders.

Individually, contextually and circumstantially coexistence is possible. But not in the long run.

Islam is an oppressive totalitarian ideology under the guise of a religion with which no co-existence is possible. Non-Muslims in a Muslim state are treated like black people in the Jim Crow South.

In 2002, I discovered a 1927 lecture by Bertrand Russell entitled “Why I am Not a Christian”. It did not cross my mind, as I read it, that one day, nearly a century after he delivered it to the South London branch of the National Secular Society, I would be compelled to write an essay with precisely the opposite title.

The year before, I had publicly condemned the terrorist attacks of the 19 men who had hijacked passenger jets and crashed them into the twin towers in New York. They had done it in the name of my religion, Islam. I was a Muslim then, although not a practising one. If I truly condemned their actions, then where did that leave me? The underlying principle that justified the attacks was religious, after all: the idea of Jihad or Holy War against the infidels. Was it possible for me, as for many members of the Muslim community, simply to distance myself from the action and its horrific results?

The two decades of IRA (Islamic Republic of Afghanistan) rule were made possible by $2.3 trillion dollars of American aid. Some of this money also went t0 Pakistan, which turned out to be a mistake. In 2019 Pakistan admitted that for the last fifteen years it had lied about the presence of over 30,000 armed men in Pakistan and Kashmir working for 40 Islamic terror groups. That deception was one of the reasons the U.S. cut off all aid to Pakistan. In addition to halting cash assistance of Afghanistan, the United States pulled the last of its troops in late 2021 and the U.S. backed IRA government collapsed, replaced by the IEA. If the IEA does allow groups based in Afghanistan to make attacks on the United States or American in other countries, the response will be sanctions and air strikes on Afghanistan. Untrustworthy Afghan governments are nothing new, and it is a tradition that is several centuries old. Outsiders are considered fair game for all manner of deceptions and costly mistakes while trying to do business in Afghanistan. The Americans proved to be the most lucrative victim and, after 20 years of persistent corruption, decided the situation was not going to change and left. The U.S. still supplies support for Afghanistan through its donations of UN food programs for Afghanistan.

The sole Muslim-majority member of NATO, Turkey is a formidable strategic asset. This makes the possibility of decoupling it from NATO a powerfully attractive prospect for the West’s adversaries. Situated in a vital location, on the Black Sea and the Mediterranean, it is also the only nation bordering Europe (Greece and Bulgaria), Asia (Georgia and Armenia), and the Middle East (Syria, Iraq, and Iran). Cleaving Turkey from NATO would mean taking out many U.S. and Western bases and intelligence gathering posts—most or all of which China, Russia, and Iran would surely step in to replace. Turkey’s armed forces are NATO’s second-most numerous and double those of third-place France, an important consideration when a large-scale conventional war seems more likely than at any other time since 1945.

China and Russia know that high-definition, streaming images showing Israel—“America’s closest ally,” to quote countless American politicians—using American bombs, weapons, and intelligence against Sunni Muslims in Gaza will undoubtedly provoke an intense anti-American and anti-European reaction among fellow Sunni Muslims in Turkey.

The evidence is already accumulating.

Turkey has no business in a NORTH ATLANTIC Treaty Organization. The original reason, to counter the Soviet Union, no longer exists. Turkey causes ten times more problems than any other member of NATO. Time to get rid of it.

There’s something profoundly askew in the souls of the people who feel compelled to tear down the posters of kidnapped children. I’ve been watching these for weeks now, it seems, and every day, a new one, a new person, a new flat-aspect person with dead eyes or, on occasion, sparky ire for anyone who DOES NOT UNDERSTAND that putting up the images of kidnapped children is NAZI PROPAGANDA. Even after a fortnight of people getting filmed and ID’d, they’re still taking them down. Because other people are still putting them up. Why not? The fliers are like flypaper.

As many have noted, some seem to confront shame for the first time in their adult lives, and they’re like dogs who have a mouthful of something unfamiliar and do not know how to proceed.

Several days ago, in a post I called “Distinctions Without a Difference,” I expressed several questions that were floating around the back of my mind regarding whether there are really meaningful distinctions of intent between “Palestinians” and “Hamas.” I raised those questions because everywhere we turn, both explicitly and implied, we’re being asked to believe that Hamas is one thing but Palestinians are another. I said in that post that I can imagine that such distinctions are meaningful, but that I always seemed to lack actual evidence.

One of the arguments I often hear for the lack of evidence for the existence of non-genocidal Palestinians is the fact that peaceful Palestinians are oppressed by Hamas and, if they were to openly push-back on acts of terror, then they would themselves be targeted. It isn’t hard to imagine that possibility, but there’s something about it that feels a wee bit too convenient for my comfort. We’re just supposed to take their word for it. Such an explanation is crafted in a way that forecloses the possibility of ever having any empirical evidence. We are expected to take it completely on faith.

The narrative for the existence of peaceful Palestinians goes something like this: “By golly, those meany people in Hamas are terrible, but Palestinians aren’t like Hamas. All those secret peace-loving Palestinians would really tell it like it is if they weren’t afraid of those meanies in Hamas. Otherwise, boy, they’d really let loose with their anti-genocidal views.”

Due to their long history of funding and abetting Islamic fundamentalist militias, Qatar became the Mecca for Arab terrorism in the 21st century. The estimate of Qatari funding for Hamas topped $1.8 billion in 2021, and they’ve lent their political support to branches of Al Qaeda, to the Taliban, as well as to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the architect of the 9/11 attacks.

In light of the tight security partnership between the two countries, the United States must now require the Qatari government to hand over the terrorists on its soil, or at least expel them. It also needs to step up efforts to definitively halt the funding and support of Islamic terror networks, even those that are “deeply ideologically tied” to the “pure Islam” of the Wahhabi movement that most Qataris practice.

Then, as punishment for Qatar’s affiliation with Hamas, the international community should ensure that all global sporting events, including the 2024 World Aquatics Championships and the 2024 F1 Qatar Grand Prix, be removed from Qatar, to be held elsewhere.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an unindicted co-conspirator in an Islamic terrorism funding trial, has gone to bat for a convicted Islamic terrorism funder who was asked to remove her hijab.

Muna Osman Jama, a Somali immigrant, had been sentenced to 12 years in prison for providing material support to al-Shabaab: a Somali Islamic terrorist group allied with Al Qaeda.

Jama had set up a chat room to coordinate funding for Islamic terrorist operations including in Nairobi where the Jihadist group had perpetrated the Westgate Mall Massacre. During the killing spree, al-Shabaab terrorists had singled out non-Muslims by asking them to name Mohammed’s mother or recite the shahada, the Islamic creed, and if they failed, killing them.

Serving a sentence that will only end in 2027, Jama has retained her devotion to her cult. And now CAIR, which has a history of support for Islamic terrorists, is suing the Federal Correctional Institution in Waseca, Minnesota, alleging that the terrorist funder was caused “a great deal of shame and embarrassment” by being asked to remove her hijab.

Armita Geravand, a 16-year-old Iranian girl, has died following an alleged encounter with officers over violating the country’s hijab law, the official IRNA news agency reported on Saturday.

“Unfortunately, she went into a coma for some time after suffering from brain damage. She died a few minutes ago,” IRNA reported.

Geravand had been pronounced brain dead last week after she fell into a coma on Oct 1.

I don’t know where they went with the women, but they hurt them. We could hear screams of pain.” Among the dead was Shaunnah Turner, a 5-year-old British girl.

Pregnant women and children murdered in Israel baffle the world. They seem implausible because each time they happen, we forget. A few days of horror pass and we move on.

Police in the French city of Nantes have arrested a man in relation to the Brussels terrorist attack earlier this week which saw two Swedes shot and killed by Tunisian illegal immigrant and radical Islamist Abdesalem Lassoued, who was shot dead hours later by Brussels police.

The arrest of the man, who has yet to be identified by police, occurred on Thursday after investigators found that Lassoued had sent him messages and a video online shortly before he had killed his two Swedish victims, broadcaster BFMTV reports.

French newspaper Le Parisien, meanwhile, has claimed that the video sent by Lassoued was also sent to three other individuals, while newspaper Ouest France has stated the suspect is also a Tunisian national.

Will the wishful thinking of Westerners never cease?

In point of fact, 57% of Gazans in a recent poll expressed at least a somewhat positive view of Hamas. In 2021, in the wake of armed conflict between Hamas and Israel, 53% of Palestinians affirmed that Hamas is “most deserving of representing and leading the Palestinian people.”

The U.S. president is telling himself something that he wants to believe, and that he wants others to believe. We have been here before. The shock caused by last Monday’s brutal slaying of two Swedes in Brussels by the Tunisia-born Abdeslam Lassoued—for years an illegal migrant in Belgium and avowed ISIS supporter—continues to reverberate throughout Belgian politics.

While the immediate threat has been dealt with, questions have been raised about the government’s migration and deportation policy.

As revelations about Lassoued’s background continue to emerge, Belgian authorities’ inability to properly identify, keep track of, and indeed, deport, potential security threats has been laid bare for all to see.

Almost three years to the day after the murder of history teacher Samuel Paty by a Chechen Islamist, the murder of French teacher Dominique Bernard in Arras on Friday, October 13th, in similar circumstances, has revealed a whole chain of culpable public responsibilities, against a backdrop of migratory ideology and ideological blindness.

As soon as the terrible news of the murder of teacher Dominique Bernard in front of his pupils by a twenty-year-old man of Chechen origin, Mohammed Mogushkov, came to light, revelations followed one after another about the profile of the murderer and his background. Many whistleblowers and journalists have established with certainty that the man should never have crossed the teacher’s path and that the complicity of the state apparatus and migrant defence associations played a full part in the path that led him to commit his crime.

Looks like the teddy bears and candles will be out in force tonight in Brussels and Stockholm: a young mujahid on a scooter with a gun has slaughtered two Swedes outside a stadium during a soccer match in Brussels. Mainstream media outlets will be doing their best to avoid mentioning the “Allahu Akhbar” aspect of the unfortunate incident, as well as the fact that the youthful militant was taking revenge on Swedes in the name of Allah for the burning of the Koran.

The following brief video shows the alleged attacker claiming responsibility for the murders. He seems to believe he killed three Swedish infidels, but the third shooting victim reportedly survived.

CNN has posted video of Anderson Cooper’s segment on the 10/7 slaughter at Israel’s Supernova music festival. CNN has posted the video below on X/Twitter. CNN has also posted it in what I believe to be unembeddable form here on its site.

I heard the audio on the Megyn Kelly Show today while driving to meet a friend for lunch. The video has a truth value that makes it worth pausing over.

Hamas murdered some 260 Jews at the festival. As in other 10/7 videos, the blood lust of the murderers is palpable. At one point Cooper presents the scene inside a bomb shelter turned death trap. It strikes me as a visual evocation of the Nazis’ extermination project and it is chilling.
