The Beacon has posted the video under the headline “Media take it easy on Biden,” though that doesn’t quite capture the self-abasement of the “reporters” involved.

A new podcast from The New York Times suggests that “Nice White Parents” are the reason for failures in the education system. The podcast, according to The Heritage Foundation’s Mary Clare Amselem, cites “examples of parents getting involved in the day-to-day operation of the school, and paints this involvement as an affront to public schooling,” implying parental involvement is somehow detrimental.

While the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) were stoking fear of any coronavirus vaccine produced under Trump’s presidency, they blacked out the nationwide outrage at ABC-owner Disney for giving a “special thanks” to the operators of China’s Uighur concentration camps in the credits of their new movie Mulan. It was a missed opportunity for their competitors at CBS and NBC.
The Libertarian magazine Reason put it best in describing the disturbing situation with Disney’s praise for the murderous Chinese regime. “The new Mulan movie is facing a barrage of criticism—and promises to boycott—for filming near Chinese concentration camps and then thanking the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for the privilege,” wrote Elizabeth Nolan Brown.

One of the Democrats’ more lunatic themes is their insistence that if President Trump loses the election, he likely will refuse to leave office, in effect staging a coup. Most recently the claim was made by Bernie Sanders. Politico headlined: “Sanders: America must be prepared for when Trump refuses to leave office.”
To some extent, this may be projection. The Democrats themselves have been staging a slow-motion coup for nearly four years, trying by hook or by crook to force our duly-elected president out of office. And they are the ones who have vowed to count and recount ballots to the last ditch, with Hillary Clinton telling Joe Biden, do “not concede under any circumstances.”
More significantly, I think the Democrats’ fantasizing about Trump illegally staying on in the White House is battlespace preparation for the election and for Trump’s second term (assuming he wins the election). The Democrats are expecting a close election that may not have a clear winner. They have warned that Trump may appear to have won in a landslide on election night, and it may take weeks of ballot counting to give Joe Biden the victory.
So we may well endure a post-election Hell of endless ballot judging and counting not just in one state (Florida in 2000), but potentially a dozen. Given the Democrats’ strategy of encouraging an unprecedented volume of voter fraud through voting by junk mail, the number of questionable ballots will be immense. It is quite possible that once again, the Supreme Court will be called on to sort out legal arguments–this time, likely in multiple states–so as to determine the winner. Meanwhile, the Democrats will be howling at President Trump to concede the election, and accusing him of hanging on illegally when he refuses.

pparently, the proper role of the “independent fact checker” in today’s presidential campaign is to present the consistent opinion that Joe Biden is a force for truth and light, and Donald Trump is a rampaging liar who never says anything true.
No one should suggest that these “fact checker” groups need to parcel their rulings out in a completely even fashion, so everyone gets a participation trophy for being half-right. But the dramatic tilt in these “fact checkers” betrays an obvious partisan bias.

Seemingly every night on social media, we see the truth that the liberal media refuse to show, which has been violent leftist extremists destroying parts of American cities and burning portions of them to the ground. It’s a point President Trump has drawn attention to time and time again, “The top ten [to 20] most dangerous cities in America are run by Democrats.” Well, NBC Nightly News was on a mission to defend their party Tuesday evening by attempting to debunk the President’s claim with a “Fact vs. Fiction” analysis.
The problem? Correspondent Tom Costello never directly addressed the President’s point: the topmost dangerous cities were run by Democrats. Instead, he simply argued that crime was on the rise across the country, including in Republican-led cities.

CNN host Alisyn Camerota conducted another 2020 voter panel on Tuesday’s New Day with six women who said they voted for President Trump in 2016; three who will vote for him again and three who say they now support Joe Biden. Instead of moderating the discussion, Camerota cut in to fact-check a Trump voter and defend the Democrat talking points. She did not try to fact-check the Biden supporters.
Camerota also only asked negative questions about Trump, leaving out any questions about Biden (although that may change in part two of the interview airing tomorrow).

Scott Jennings is hardly a raging Trump fan. He’s a Bushie, having served as a special assistant to W, and is a quintessentially traditional Republican.
But CNN couldn’t risk letting Jennings have a level playing field in his discussion of Kenosha and related issues with South Carolina Democrat Bakari Sellers on today’s New Day. And so, the show decided to triple-team Jennings. As you’ll see from the video, co-host Alisyn Camerota repeatedly interrupted to shush Jennings, echo Sellers’ talking points, and challenge Jennings with anti-Trump views of her own.

In the past few weeks, we’ve seen late night “comedy” descend into a total abandonment of jokes as well as an endorsement of Joe Biden. The complete partisanship continued Sunday on HBO as far-left host John Oliver accused the racist GOP of delivering a “fucking threat” against America at the party’s convention. In an assist to Biden, he even lied and portrayed the liberal Democrat as not that at all extreme.
The Last Week Tonight host fumed, “It was four days of a full-throated denial of objective reality. For one thing, there was the misleading portrait they painted of Trump’s opponent.” Disparaging one’s opponent at a convention? What a novel concept. Oliver then lied and said that the Democrat never hinted he supported defunding the police. (He has: According to the New York Post: “Asked if money should be ‘redirected’ away from cops, he replied, ‘Yes, absolutely.’”)

While 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse shouldn’t have traveled from his home in Illinois to Kenosha, Wisconsin Tuesday, he however had the right to defend himself when rioters threatened his life (something the liberal media have been lying to their viewers about). But during Thursday’s CBS Evening News, correspondent Mola Lenghi took things to a disgusting low and mourned the death of one his attackers, Anthony Huber.
…
As NewsBusters reported Wednesday, the incident involving Rittenhouse began after he was chased into a parking lot by rioter Joseph Rosenbaum, a convicted sex offender who was caught on video earlier that night shouting the “N-word.” After Rittenhouse allegedly shot that attacker, he continued to flee as a mob of rioters pursued him. That crowd included Huber, who hit the kid with his skateboard, and Gaige Grosskreutz.

CNN — the network where Brian Stelter preaches that the Republicans and Fox News are guilty of “asymmetric lying” — was dramatically bending reality in the 5 am hour on Tuesday. The solution? “Try, whenever possible, to suppress the power of white parents.”

The Washington Post’s “factchecks” of the first night of the Republican National Convention mostly represent Democratic Party rebuttals to what are debatable political contentions. One, however, stuck out as especially misleading.

The first part of Haley’s assertion is indisputable. The Obama administration sent the Iranian terror regime a planeload of cash. It says so right there in Glenn Kessler’s piece: “An initial payment of $400 million was handed over on Jan. 17, 2016, the day after Iran released four American detainees, including The Washington Post’s Jason Rezaian.”
The second part of Haley’s contention is merely an opinion — debatable, perhaps, but not fact-checkable.

Over the last half decade a vast amount of in-depth prestige press coverage has been devoted to the so-called “alt-right” while almost none has been devoted to “Antifa,” despite the latter being vastly larger and more favored by government officials, as we’ve seen this year in unfortunate cities such as Minneapolis, Madison, Seattle, and Portland.

One of the more striking phenomena of recent years is the trend toward making certain news articles duller, vaguer, and more insignificant sounding. Stories used to be written to begin with the five W’s — Who, What, Where, When, and Why — as close to the top as human verbal ingenuity could manage. But lately, many stories are constructed to bore the casual reader into moving on to the next story before he has much of a clue what this one is about.
