Do you know how to keep CNN’s Jake Tapper from pursuing a particular line of questioning? Merely object vigorously. Actually that’s not quite right. For this to actually work, the person objecting must be a Democrat. Especially if the husband of the Democrat is running for president.
Such was the case on Sunday’s State of the Union when Jake Tapper was interviewing Jill Biden and brought up the subject of her husband’s notorious gaffes. This caused Jill to quickly shut Tapper down with her vigorous objections as you can see in this video which was widely mocked on Twitter.

The first Civil War started because a Republican, Abraham Lincoln, won the Presidential election. The people who started it were Democrats, and they got the snot kicked out of them.
Democrats are now threatening a new Civil War if a Republican, Donald Trump, wins the Presidential election.
I’m cool with that. I’ll even sign up to carry a gun, given the prospect of doing to the proglodytes what happened to the slavers after the first Civil War.
Bring it on.

Part of the Misdirection Machine.
Democratic presidents have become steadily more progressive since Jimmy Carter. That’s because Democratic voters have shifted to the left over the last 30 years, in a trend that has accelerated over the last five years, according to surveys.
Yet, Democratic candidates like Joe Biden are erroneously depicted as moderate by “conservatives” who work for progressive newspapers and call for defeat of all Republicans; and self-described “lifelong Republicans” who have actually voted against Republicans for years.
Joe Biden’s openly progressive supporters admit that he is further to the left than past Democratic presidential nominees. As the progressive Peter Beinart put it in The Atlantic, “Despite embracing an agenda that is further to the left than that of any Democratic nominee in decades, [Biden has] avoided the specific policy proposals and catchphrases that Republicans find easiest to attack. As a result, he appears more centrist than he actually is.”

The theme of Monday’s CBS Evening News was ‘be afraid, be afraid of conservatives on the Supreme Court.’ And they weren’t subtle about it. It was the common thread throughout their four back-to-back segments about the battle to fill the vacant seat once held by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
In fact, stoking fear of conservatives was how anchor Norah O’Donnell kicked off the program in the opening teases.

Four years ago the Avengers assembled to stop Donald Trump’s presidential plans.
The video clip featured a who’s who of the MCU, the acronym for Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe. Think Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Mark Ruffalo and Clark Gregg. They joined a gaggle of fellow Hollywood stars to warn the nation against Donald Trump’s potential presidency in a clip dubbed “Save the Day.”
…
That was then. Today, some of these stars are re-assembling to push Joe Biden’s presidential hopes against now-President Trump. Nothing unusual there given the industry’s progressive leanings.
So what’s missing?

GOP congressional candidate for Maryland’s seventh district Kim Klacik, whose powerful campaign ad about how Democrats have destroyed Baltimore drew the attention of President Trump, appeared on The View today and there were definitely fireworks.
While co-hosts Meghan McCain and Sara Haines were polite to their guest, liberal co-hosts Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Ana Navarro were extremely hostile particularly because the young, black Republican woman strongly defended President Trump on the issue of racism. In fact, she made them so angry that the liberal hosts ganged up on her and shouted her down to end the show.
I guess black lives don’t matter when they vote Republican.

One of the phoniest and most outrageous tropes pushed by the leftist press is that they are just innocent bystanders who report the news, instead of being partisan hacks who routinely push whatever narrative the Democratic Party wants. ‘Environmental justice’?
The proposal had become one of the most fraught issues to come before the California Coastal Commission, which was set to vote Thursday. The decision would have been the first major test of the commission’s new power to review not only harm to the environment when making decisions but also harm to underrepresented communities.
Presumably this means that they’re no longer ‘unrepresented’, with white people taking up their cause, theoretically.

It was quite the sad sight to behold during the Tuesday evening newscasts. During the NFL’s Thursday night season opener, fans at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium and the television viewers at home made it clear they are not cool with athlete activism in the workplace. Particularly the Marxist brand of Black Lives Matter activism. That’s unacceptable with the NFL, says sports blogger Tyler Tynes of The Ringer.
The fans in attendance Thursday expressed themselves with boos and those at home did likewise by simply by not tuning in on television. Viewership on television crashed to a 10-year low for an NFL season opener.
Yet in an interview with NPR’s Sacha Pfeiffer, The Ringer’s Tyler Tynes urged African American athletes to give the fans even more of what they don’t want.
The blogger in question is, of course, black.

“Wonder Woman of History,” hitting shelves Dec. 1, celebrates real life female “superheroes” in comic book form. The young adult graphic novel embraces some of the most abrasive figures on the modern Left, including two Congresswomen known for behavior evoking anti-Semitism.

Among the featured women include Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib, liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, comic Tig Notaro, actress/singer Janelle Monae, Beyonce and gun control devotee and Parkland High School shooting survivor Emma Gonzales.

Joan Donovan, director of the Technology and Social Change Research Project at the center, blamed conservatives for being the real source of America’s modern violence. Her September 3 op-ed ran in the MIT Technology Review specifically targeted “right-wing adversarial media-makers like Elijah Schaffer and Andy Ngo.”
Her piece, “How an overload of riot porn is driving conflict in the streets,” condemned conservatives for using social media as a “machine to spread a narrative of lawless rioting.” Donovan smeared the uptick in use of video to condemn the violence of rioters as “the rise of riot porn.”
