When you’re on Team MS NOW, you think there’s nothing funny going on when Jim Acosta starts lecturing about civility in press briefings. During his time at CNN, Jim Acosta may have been the rudest White House reporter in modern history, but only with one president. On Saturday’s Velshi, substitute host Charles Coleman welcomed in Acosta and fellow White House screamer April Ryan.
Coleman asked for Acosta’s reaction to how White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt excused Trump trying to silence a rude reporter with a “Quiet, Piggy.” Typically, the liberal journalists think you can exhibit maximum rudeness to Trump – like calling him Hitler – but he is now allowed to be rude in return. But his strategy in response – for the anti-Trump press to stop covering Trump until he behaves – would be a huge win for the White House.
Acosta insisted that any boss in any newsroom would be fired for being this rude to a female reporter.

And that’s because that’s what they are?—a terrorist orgnization. A ‘risk of violence’ comes with the package.
Following in the New York Times’ footsteps, National Public Radio rallied around the Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the discredited, Hamas-linked Islamic pressure group gilded as a Muslim “civil rights organization” by its allies in the elitist press.
Andrew Schneider, senior reporter for politics and government at Houston Public Media, penned a blandished defense for Houston public media on Monday, a version of which aired on NPR itself Tuesday.

After a disgraceful front-page smear against Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis earlier this month, (Actual headline: “Ron DeSantis Is a Veteran. So Are 7 Inmates He’s Sending to Execution”) the Orlando Sentinel has continued to use that valuable space to place ridiculous stories involving ICE and immigration, running three sob stories on its front page over a span of eight days.
The Orlando Sentinel’s November 19 front-page headline, “Sanford grandfather to remain in ICE custody — Retired optician faces deportation for criminal past.”
Sounds awful, doesn’t it? But there’s a little more to the story (by Jeffrey Schweers, who regularly files anti-DeSantis hit jobs for the paper) as DeSantis himself, with an assist from Executive Office communications staffer Christina Pushaw pointed out on X: “Good grief the legacy media is shilling for a convicted rapist. That is your sob story?”

CNN This Morning’s group chat offered a number of excuses for the Afghan immigrant’s shooting of National Guardsmen.
CNN military analyst Cedric Leighton began by claiming that anyone can be radicalized, pointing to Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber! If ours is a country of 350 million potential mass murderers, all the more reason not to add to the count by admitting millions of lightly-vetted foreigners!
Leighton went on to say that the Afghan’s struggles to make ends meet after coming to US might have set him off. Seriously? Perhaps he should have stayed in Afghanistan, that land of plenty!
Meghan Hays, a CNN commentator and former Biden aide, claimed that the fact that the Afghan shot at point-blank range proved that he was a “crazy person’ with “mental illness.”

On Tuesday, the far-left podcast I’ve Had It — hosted by vile white female pundits Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan — illustrated why it personifies the hate-filled miserable liberal base by tag-teaming with twice-failed former MSNBC host Joy Reid to hurl bile at our friend Scott Jennings and accuse the wider Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement of being a terrorist organization willing to “commit jihad” for “proto-fascist” President Trump.
Welch brought up Jennings just past the nine-and-a-half-minute mark and said he’s someone who gets on Reid’s nerves. Reid began by alluding to a recent appearance on her own show by CNN NewsNight host Abby Phillip — who owes her employment status to Jennings — and whining Jennings possesses “a disingenuousness to a lot of Republicanism.”

Democrats whipped themselves into a frenzy trying to manufacture a “gotcha” moment for President Trump and the GOP over the Epstein files.
According to Bloomberg data, the headline count in MSM for “Epstein” erupted on the day when President Trump signed a spending bill to reopen the federal government after Democrats caved. This was nothing more than a headline deflection by Democrats.
But in recent days, the Epstein story count in MSM has fallen off a cliff. You don’t hear much from the Democrats who chanted “release the files” every day …

Last week on November 17, 26-year-old Bethany MaGee was randomly attacked and set on fire while riding a Chicago commuter train, leaving her with life-threatening injuries. A suspect was apprehended hours later and has an unfathomable 72 prior arrests, but was still allowed to roam the streets in a Democrat-run city defended by the left as anything but a criminal hotbed.
Given this incident underscores the urgency shown by President Trump to address crime in major U.S. cities, the liberal elites at CBS and NBC have omitted this story from their flagship morning and evening newscasts.
ABC wasn’t much better with only one full, 79-second segment back on the November 19 World News Tonight. Anchor David Muir — who often lacks the ability to speak in complete sentences — announced: “Tonight, federal terrorism charges after a horrific attack on a commuter train in Chicago. Prosecutors say the suspect see on surveillance allegedly setting a woman on fire. Tonight here, we do have news on her condition.”

How did we get Trump? This video shows some insight into one reason why Trump ran (love of country is the other reason) and why he is steamrolling over certain lefty Democrats. I never watch the correspondence suppers, my contempt for much of the media was already formed by the time this happened. I have heard funny clips from these dinners but not these clips. Perhaps the media didn’t want to showcase how intolerable their own kind were. Perhaps I wasn’t listening to Rush the day he played it, if he even knew about it.
I saw this clip for the first time this morning and so much more makes sense. The scorn they showed him, the utter lack of respect of him, the joy they had in mocking him in public, we can relate. That is the same scorn we Trump supporters have felt for over 10 years from both sides of the aisle. Heck, there are even a few on ricochet who could use a dose of self-reflection. I’m not referring to those who merely dislike Trump and offer polite disagreement, but to those whose posts and comments reek of the same insulting condescension as the people showcased in the video had. No, we don’t fall for the cowardly explanation that the insulting posts exist to teach us about Trump. Trump isn’t on ricochet so he won’t see them. Trump supporters on ricochet see them and are the target, well, not me anymore. Ignoring them works.
Thanks to ricochet’s moderation, posts here remain mostly civil, unlike the sewer that other social media sites have become. Insulting posts about Trump that push the limits of the CoC will probably continue but who is really the butt of the crude comments and jokes? Trump, his supporters, or the writers?
Watch the Whole Thing.

abortion. Pushing abortion pills after the repeal of Roe v. Wade is heroic in their eyes. On Wednesday’s PBS News Hour, health care reporter Sarah Varney spent almost ten minutes glamorizing an “underground network” of abortion pill distributors in pro-life states. It’s “underground” enough that PBS helpfully hid the identities of all their heroines, avoiding head shots and using aliases.
Transparency took a beating for these headless leftists, but the elitist media love the way it makes America look like a dangerously backward place.
Varney noted six out of ten abortions are now achieved with pills, which is why Varney is touting these brave pill-pushers. She started by attending a training session for doulas: “Their teacher, who goes by Ashaba (ph) to protect her identity, is part of an underground network. She helps people in states where abortion is illegal get access to abortion medication…. Ashaba says this word-of-mouth network stretches south from Illinois to Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana.” So she’s the Harriet Tubman of infanticide.

More accurately, ‘spending the most on politics’. Leftists have this delusions that spending money equals influence, which for them I guess it does, but Michael Huffington can testify that spending more than your opponent doesn’t guarantee a win.
The 20 most prolific donors on the Forbes billionaires list have collectively given nearly $5 billion between 2015 and 2024, spending on everything from state ballot measures to congressional elections and presidential races. Some have concentrated on supporting issues of interest. Finance billionaire Jeff Yass has poured millions into supporting pro-school-choice candidates in his home state of Pennsylvania and across the country.
While some billionaires have given similar amounts to both parties, the most prolific donors gave almost exclusively to one party. In federal races, LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman gave just under 90 percent of his total donations to Democrats and liberal committees; all the other top 20 donors were even more lopsided. Nobody gave over $5 million to both Republicans and Democrats.
Considering how much power the government has over the economy, who, having money, wouldn’t spend it to influence the people who could confiscate all of that money if they had a mind to?

New York Times Houston bureau chief J. David Goodman sounded aggrieved in his Texas-based story in Wednesday’s paper, “Texas Declares Muslim Civil Rights Group a Terrorist.” This is how liberal papers routinely describe leftist agitators. They’re “civil rights groups.”
As for the phrase “Muslim Civil Rights Group,” the Times is actually talking about the Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Hamas-linked Islamic pressure group. “Civil rights group” should not describe a radical group whose national executive director Nihad Awad declared himself happy about the October 7 massacre by Hamas — a story covered by the Times in December 2023 but ignored in this new story. “I was happy to see people breaking the siege and throwing down the shackles of their own land,” Awad said.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has also designated CAIR a terrorist group.

As she did just over a year ago, Alyssa Farah Griffin, the faux conservative for ABC’s The View, came to the defense of Vanity Fair editor Olivia Nuzzi, the liberal journalist who cheated on her then-fiancé Ryan Lizza with Secretary Robert F. Near the top of the segment, moderator Joy Behar was perplexed that people had a problem with a journalist having affairs and sleeping with their sources: “And her ex-fiance, who’s also a political reporter, is writing a blog claiming that she had an affair with yet another politician. Okay. (…) So, what’s wrong with that?”
“The problem is that’s unethical under journalism standings,” co-host Sunny Hostin had to explain to her. “I mean you can’t sleep with a source because there’s an immediate conflict of interest in your reporting. And she gave glowing reports – She wrote glowing reports about the two men that she allegedly had affairs with.”

What is the United States going to do with all the pennies—all the pennies in take-a-penny-leave-a-penny trays, and cash registers, and couch cushions, and the coin purses of children, and Big Gulp cups full of pennies; all the pennies that are just lying around wherever—following the abrupt announcement that the country is no longer in the penny game and will stop minting them, effective immediately?
The answer appears to be nothing at all. There is no plan.
This is the sort of proglodyte twat that writes for the Narrative Media. Whatever it is, there has to be a plan. A government plan. To be without a government plan is to be outside of civilization. The very foundation of the world will tremble.
Exactly why there needs to be a plan for the pennies now in circulation is never discussed. Never even mentioned.
Can’t people just spend ’em if they got ’em? 300 billion. That ought to be enough to keep people happy.
Could they stick them in penny-collection cards?
Melt them down for model soldiers?
Put them on railroad tracks because that just the dumb shit that people do?
Apparently not.
There must be a plan. And it must be a government plan. Else the universe will dissolve into chaos.

Before MSNBC transforms into MS Now at midnight on Saturday, The 11th Hour host Stephanie Ruhle joined ESPN and SiriusXM host Stephen A. Smith on Thursday for his Straight Shooter podcast. Once there, Ruhle offered up an unconvincing excuse for why she does not have Republican guests on her show.
What made Ruhle’s response even more strange was that Smith didn’t even ask about guests. Instead, he simply wondered, “What role is Stephanie Ruhle going to play? In bringing attention to these issues and making sure these issues are addressed in a manner in which it deserves as a member of the media, as a member of MS Now moving forward.”

On Wednesday, CBS Mornings and NBC’s Today predictably served as clapping seals in celebrating Jack Schlossberg — the grandson of John F. Kennedy and thus royalty on the left — launching a bid for a Manhattan-area House seat despite having only been an “influencer” and a self-described provocateur on social media. In other words, he’s never had a real job.
To be sure, as a child of a Kennedy he’s really never had to work in his life.
NBC was particularly enthralled and head-over-heels as a longtime friend of the show might be representing many of them in Congress.
They teased a full segment on Schlossberg not just once, but twice. In the second, co-host Savannah Guthrie gushed: “Then, just Jack. John F. Kennedy’s grandson throwing his hat into the political ring…The social media lightning rod now looking to takeover a high-profile seat. The full story coming right up.”
Co-host Craig Melvin tossed to correspondent Stephanie Gosk: “Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of former President John F. Kennedy, announcing on social media overnight that he plans to run for Congress. Schlossberg is targeting an open seat in a high-profile, influential district in New York.”
The ancient cliché that politics is “show-business for ugly people” suggests that non-ugly people have an even smoother road. After all, “show-business” does actually involve a modicum of work, whereas politics merely requires effort, which is not the same thing; and damned little effort at that, as former Representative George Santos has demonstrated.

Nothing was sacred to ABC’s The View if it could be abused to make an attack on some element of the Trump administration, including Veterans Day. During Tuesday’s episode, the liberal ladies sought to commemorate the holiday with their thanks and stories of their veteran family members; but moderator Whoopi Goldberg brought things down when she took a swipe at War Secretary Pete Hegseth to seemingly accuse him, an Army combat veteran, of not caring about those who came home from war.
“So, Joy is out today, hopefully she will be back tomorrow, and it is also Veterans Day today and we want to start by thanking every veteran in this country who has served in our armed forces,” Goldberg announced at the top of the show.
Goldberg chimed in again later in the segment to note how there were times that America didn’t treat veterans well and that America was trying to do a better job. She then invoked Hegseth’s name to scold him as if he wasn’t interested in treating veterans well or didn’t care about them.

Just like they waited until either Joe Biden had bumbled in the June 2024 debate or he was out of office to admit he wasn’t in charge of his faculties, the “Big Three” of ABC, CBS, and NBC awoke Monday morning by telling viewers it was Democrats who had a “whole strategy” to “drive the country into a shutdown,” but lost out when eight defectors “back[ed] away from what they’ve been demanding” on ObamaCare subsidies.

Overnight, a small group of Democrats proved that their party was in the driver’s seat of the longest U.S. government shutdown by crossing the aisle and voting with Republicans to reopen the government. The multimillionaires of ABC News’s The View were so bitter about federal workers getting paid and SNAP recipients getting food that they were raging and screaming into the cameras. The majority were angry over Democrats giving up their political leverage against Republicans following their electoral victories last week. One of them even shouted: “I want an opposition party!”
At the top of the show, moderator Whoopi Goldberg tacitly admitted that it was Democrats who were holding out during the government shutdown, and whined that “eight senate Democrats threw in the towel by siding with the GOP to advance a vote that could lead to the government reopening.”

Despite detailed photographic evidence to the contrary, many liberals continue to assert that the Venezuelan boats recently destroyed by the U.S. Navy are merely fishing, not drug, boats. The Associated Press has jumped into the fray and in a roundabout “nuanced” way admitted that the destroyed boats are indeed drug boats. The “nuance” comes in via the AP asserting that among the crews of the drug boats, some worked mostly as fishermen or other low paying jobs with drug smuggling only as a side gig to boost their income.
The AP reluctantly made the ‘nuanced’ admission that the destroyed boats were drug boats on Friday with this report by Reginia Garcia Cano, “Trump has accused boat crews of being narco-terrorists. The truth, AP found, is more nuanced.”

Last Thursday afternoon as Tesla shareholders were deciding to give their CEO Elon Musk a package that could be worth 1 trillion dollars, CNN’s Kasie Hunt was discussing it on her show, The Arena. Hunt concluded her interview with Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA) by asking, “Do you think Elon Musk should be a trillionaire, is that a thing we should have?” In other words, should we put a limit on how much financial success a U.S. citizen, especially a conservative one, should be allowed to attain? Just when you thought you’ve heard it all!
Khanna answered that he is all for Musk, or anyone, making all the money he can make, so long as they give a chunk of it to the government, on top of the taxes that are already in place. “..I’m all for Elon becoming a trillionaire, as long as we can have a 5 percent trillionaire tax…My problem is not the wealth generation. It’s that it hasn’t been taxed. Have a wealth tax on all these billionaires and trillionaires.” That answer seemed to please Hunt, who then broke the trillion bucks down this way.
All good, so long as we get to wet our beaks and buy some votes with his money.

PBS’s newest Frontline documentary, “The Rise of Germany’s New Right” concerns the rise of the AfD in Germany (Alternative for Germany) party and its supposed links to Nazism and Putin’s Russia. Director and correspondent Evan Williams has also made the Frontline docs Germany’s Enemy Within (2024) and Germany’s Neo-Nazis & the Far Right (2021).
Germany’s migrant problem surged after 2015, when former Chancellor Angela Merkel opened the borders to people (mostly fighting-age males, it seemed) fleeing the Syrian war. Over three million refugees and asylum seekers have entered Germany since, some bringing Islamic-style terrorism with them and causing understandable backlash toward the country’s open-border policy.
Yet terrorism involving migrants in Germany was barely noticed in the documentary and narrator Williams preferred to smear the AfD for noticing. He dredged up controversial statements and spurious links to Adolf Hitler. All the while, the main anti-Semitism on the ground in Europe today is coming from the pro-Hamas left.

The Telegraph (UK).
The BBC will apologise for the misleading editing of a Donald Trump speech in a Panorama documentary, the Telegraph can disclose.
Samir Shah, the BBC’s chairman, will write to the culture, media and sport committee on Monday to express regret for the way the speech, made on the day of the Jan 6 2021 Capitol riot, was spliced together.
The apology will heap further pressure on Tim Davie, the BBC’s director general, to quit over an 8,000-word dossier compiled by a whistleblower that alleged widespread bias within the corporation.
The Telegraph has previously disclosed that both Mr Davie and Mr Shah were warned of the doctored footage in May but appear to have kept quiet.
The decision to issue an apology now raises questions about why it has taken them six months to admit viewers were misled.
