The New York Post debuts an excerpt of John Paul Mac Isaac’s memoir American Injustice: My Battle to Expose the Truth. The Post has published the excerpt under the headline “The night I met Hunter Biden: Mac Shop owner John Paul Mac Isaac recounts fateful encounter in exclusive excerpt.” It is the story the Post reported before the 2020 presidential election, but it is the story that could not be told. It has to be suppressed. Isaac had to be defamed. The story had to be trashed. President Biden himself reiterated the blatant propaganda of retired intelligence officials asserting that it was Russian misinformation.
Among the laptops turned over to him by Hunter Biden, Isaac found the revelations with which we have become familiar, no thanks to the Democrats’ media adjunct. It is an incredible story. Isaac himself was a walk-on whose role was to serve as roadkill.

Amid news reports about the leaked draft of a Supreme Court opinion that would end abortion on demand, critics wailed in the media, in speeches, and on Twitter about the proposed ruling.
The high court confirmed the authenticity of the draft opinion by Justice Samuel Alito in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization that was leaked to Politico, but asserted that it is not the final version.
If the Alito draft from February stands and enough justices sign on, it would overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that made abortion legal across the nation.
If the Supreme Court overturns Roe, it would not ban abortion but rather allow state legislatures to determine to what extent abortion is allowed in their states.

In a stunning breach of Supreme Court confidentiality and secrecy, Politico has obtained what it calls a draft of a majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito that would strike down Roe v. Wade.
The draft was circulated in early February, according to Politico. The final opinion has not been released and votes and language can change before opinions are formally released. The opinion in this case is not expected to be published until late June.
CNN has not independently confirmed the document’s authenticity. Politico says it has authenticated the draft. A Supreme Court spokesperson declined to comment to CNN.
Until now, Supreme Court confidentiality could absolutely be relied upon. If this is legitimate, it marks another step down in the ongoing degeneration of our culture.
The reason Politico published it, of course, is an attempt to bring political pressure to bear on the Justices in hopes of altering the decision and maybe boost Democrat chances in the midterm elections.
UPDATE: Read Justice Alito’s initial draft abortion opinion which would overturn Roe v. Wade

On MSNBC’s The ReidOut, Joy Reid and fellow host, Lawrence O’Donnell quickly sought to prove to each other and everyone watching that neither of them have any clue about how our nation’s government works. Separation of powers and division of powers are foreign concepts to both of them.
Proof of this came early in the show when Reid kvetched how many of President Joe Biden’s left-wing programs have been held up in the U.S. Senate. “None of those things are law and none are likely to become law despite Democrats narrowly controlling both branches of the federal legislature and the White House,” Reid wailed. “Because one or two Senators can literally shut down every one of those things over the will of hundreds of representatives in the house which has passed most of the things.”
The unhinged host then whined that “without 60 Senators’ approval, 327 million Americans cannot have nice things.”
What she doesn’t understand, or simply refuses to understand is Biden’s agenda isn’t being held up by “one or two Senators” the legislation is being blocked by fifty Republican Senators and two Democrat Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) & Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ).

Back in the old days, newspapers assigned reporters to beats like Congress, the Supreme Court, the Pentagon, and Health and Human Services. Now it seems like the new beats are about covering threats, foreign and domestic – ideological threats. So The New York Times has a “climate” department. Michael Bender was recently hired to report on “Trumpism,” and the Times is seeking a political reporter on “Right Wing Media.”
In their job notice on LinkedIn, the Times warned about “the right-wing media ecosystem that now serves many conservative Americans who no longer rely on the mainstream media to inform themselves.”
The newspaper that endorsed Elizabeth Warren for president defines itself as the “mainstream media.”

Restricting speech on Facebook has long been a political concern of the bright and beautiful. Twitter, though? That’s more personal. Back in its earlier days it was a bit of a hugbox — filled with Dr Who references, puns and Stephen Fry. Free speech was defended hotly, such as when a British user was prosecuted for joking that he would blow up Robin Hood Airport if it didn’t stop cancelling flights.
Yet as Twitter expanded — and especially as Brexit and Trump inched closer — darker, ruder and more dissident voices started to proliferate. The media, political and academic classes had never been faced with such hostility, or seen average schmucks exceed their status. When columnists log onto Twitter to find a bunch of random people calling them stupid, or see the opinions of a random person with a preposterous pseudonym have far more reach than theirs, it pains them less because of its real-world effects than because it wounds their egos.
