Jewish Telegraphic Agency, a Voice of the Crust.
Over the weekend, the Department of Homeland Security’s X account appeared to reference an antisemitic dog whistle. And it wasn’t the first time that happened this summer.
“Which way, American man?” the department’s official page posted Sunday, over a political cartoon from 1936 called “Uncle Sam at the Crossroads.”
The post, a recruitment ad for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, alluded to the phrase “Which way, Western man?” — the title of a 1978 book steeped in antisemitic conspiracy theories and explicit threats against Jews. As a social media meme, the phrase has been used to ridicule the “woke,” feminism and immigrants.
In its own X post Wednesday, the Anti-Defamation League called the “Which way” reference “the latest problematic ICE recruitment post from the X account of the Department of Homeland Security.” The ADL cited several problems with it, including the reference to the 1978 book by William Gayley Simpson, whom the organization calls a “white supremacist and antisemite.”
Somehow, only Woke journalists can hear these ‘dog-whistles’. Doesn’t that make them the dog?

- No “US” criminal records? How many have non-U.S. criminal records? A bunch, I’ll wager.
- “Criminal records”? Anybody who is here illegally is a felon ipso facto and liable to deportation, “criminal record” or not.
The Narrative Media take such hair-splitting pettifoggery to absurd levels, in the sure and certain knowledge that their moronic mobs will take it and run with it. “Burn the witch!”

CNN is a seemingly endless fount of dumb ideas.
Yesterday, we caught a CNN correspondent recommending that if Anas Al-Sharif was a Hamas terrorist, instead of killing him, the IDF should have asked Al Jazeera to fire him!
Today, it was CNN contributor and former NPR host Lulu Garcia-Navarro’s turn. Criticizing Trump’s use of federal agents to supplement DC police, Garcia-Navarro said the real solution to “girl brawls” is to have “better social media policies and better money for schools.”
So, limit teens to 15 minutes a day on TikTok, perhaps? Yup, that’ll bring girl brawls and other crime by the city’s ‘yuts’ to a screeching halt! Assuming you could even enforce such policies: “Sergeant, we just tracked a girl at Union Station who’s been on TikTok for 27 minutes. Get a SWAT team over there: STAT!”
As for spending “better money for schools,” in 2022-23, guess which school district ranked #1 in the country in per pupil spending? Yup! And the returns on that lavish spending have been dismal. In 2024, two-thirds of students failed to read at grade level, and almost 80% failed to reach grade level in math. Entrusting even more money to the tender mercies of the teachers’ union isn’t going to fix the problem.

The PBS News Hour aggressively, almost amusingly avoided the term “illegal” to describe illegal immigrants in Friday’s story on President Trump’s call for a new U.S. Census that would not count illegal immigrants, a move that would change the recorded population of various states and perhaps result in fewer members in the congressional delegation of some states with high illegal-immigrant populations.

Talking heads on CNN and MSNBC are convinced President Trump has some shadowy ulterior motive for assuming federal control of policing in Washington, D.C. In addition to citing cooked crime statistics to slam President Trump’s federalization of policing in D.C., panelists on the liberal cable networks have begun offering up wild theories for what Trump’s “real” goal was.
One popular theory pushed by MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell, MSNBC contributor Eddie Glaude, among others, was that the President hoped to “distract” Americans and the media from Jeffrey Epstein.

Find a ‘city’ that isn’t ‘black led’. Go on; I’ll wait.
The distinction to be made here is that Trump is ‘targeting’ Democrat-‘led’ cities, because Democrat politicians (an amazing number of which just happen to be black-‘led’) aren’t doing their jobs.
The first job of elected officials is to ensure that their constituents are safe. The first job of ‘black-led cities’ appears to be ignoring crime and wasting taxpayer money (when it isn’t just stolen).
I read somewhere recently (can’t remember where) that there are no Blue States, merely Blue Cities. That sounds about right.

Small boats and fateful decisions on asylum have shifted polite opinion firmly to the right. It risks moving further if the tap isn’t turned off.
Note how ‘shifting right’ is automatically characterized as being a ‘risk’. (Oh, no, we don’t want to shift right!)
On Tuesday morning, Yvette Cooper, the home secretary, went on the BBC’s Today programme to be interrogated about the government’s new “one in, one out” plan to deport illegal migrants back to France. It is the “right principle”, she said, that people who arrive on small boats should be returned.
Amol Rajan, the host, pressed Cooper. “The trouble is, a year on from being in power, the numbers are going up, not down,” he said. “Don’t you think, if you said … ‘we hope to return 5,000 a year through this scheme’ it would help win the public over?”
You could hardly hope for a better encapsulation of just how far the liberal consensus on migration has shifted in this country. Neither the Labour home secretary nor the Today show host interrogated the assumption that illegal migrants should be deported; it was merely a question of how many and how fast.
Reality is what hangs around even if you don’t believe in it.

CBS News, a Voice of the Crust.
The watchdog group Democracy Defenders Fund, led by a former Obama administration ethics official, has formally requested a federal investigation into the Pentagon’s acceptance of a Qatari luxury jet on behalf of President Trump.
According to a memo obtained by CBS News, the group asked the Department of Defense’s inspector general and the Government Accountability Office to probe whether the Pentagon broke laws and engaged in impropriety by accepting the gift on Mr. Trump’s behalf from the Qatari royal family. The memo was sent to the inspector general and GAO on Friday.
The Democracy Defenders Fund is a nonpartisan advocacy group founded by Obama ethics czar Norm Eisen. Its memo said the agencies should investigate whether the Defense Department had improperly invoked its authorities to accept the jet aircraft and to reportedly transfer $934 million in funding from a nuclear missile program to help retrofit the aircraft.
As is obvious, this group is not a ‘watchdog group’ but rather a bunch of Democrat activists looking for some way to cause trouble for Trump. CBS calling it a ‘watchdog group’ is a transparent attempt to paint it with a level of credibility to which it is obviously not entitled. This is a constant theme with the Narrative Media: Any clump of Democrat activists is a ‘watchdog group’; any Republican group, of whatever nature, is a bunch of ‘conspiracy theorists’. (Instead of calling them ‘conspiracy theories’ we ought to call them ‘spoiler alerts’.)

Though the highly advanced strike was designed to reduce unintentional casualties to a minimum, there were a few civilian injuries and casualties. There’s something funny in scandal politics when people accuse each other of pushing a “distraction.” So if President Donald Trump tries to change the subject to Russia collusion-hoaxing, it’s a “distraction” from the media’s energetic Jeffrey Epstein obsession.
All this really proves is that the liberal media elites get unhappy whenever anyone tries to offer a different topic than the one they demand we all be magnetically focused on. The networks don’t want any contrary new information added to their narrative on how Trump won in 2016 with Russian assistance—if you’re not going to accept their original accusations of collusion.
Their framing is presented as the only acceptable framing, the one based in “reality.” The public is always supposed to be focused on Republican scandals. They’re the only ones that matter. Democrat scandals are reflexively dismissed as “no evidence” nothing-burgers, a smelly wastebasket of “unsubstantiated” junk.
It’s transparently partisan “news judgment.”

The PBS News Hour’s bizarre post-October 7 enmity toward Israel has blared bright the last few days, eager to portray Israel, fighting for existence against a soulless enemy, Hamas, as a cruel invader purposely starving Gaza’s infants. This is the “public television” that claims to be a public service.
PBS’s coverage of late has been guilty of bias by omission, spewing phony figures and hunger anecdotes from the Hamas-controlled “Health Ministry” entity — while usually leaving out the Hamas affiliation. References to the hostages still cruelly held by Hamas were sparse.
One would think the New York Times publishing mortifying misinformation (a front-page photo on Friday of a “starving” child in Gaza who was actually suffering an unrelated medical condition) would inject a little humility into the legacy press’s assumptions of starving children in Gaza.
Guest host Lisa Desjardins opened Saturday’s News Weekend by leaving off the fact that the terrorist group controls the Gaza Health Ministry while skipping mention of the twenty or so hostages assumed to still be alive, being held by Hamas.

Less than a fourth of Illinois farmland is owned by the farmer who works the land, according to data from the Illinois Farm Business Farm Management, a nonprofit association that helps farmers make management decisions. The rest is leased to farmers by individuals, family trusts and, increasingly, businesses.
The Tribune is launching a series of special reports analyzing the hurdles many farmers face in trying to be good stewards of the land as climate change intensifies. Among the challenges are fewer opportunities for farmers — and would-be farmers — to own their land.
And there you have it: CLIMATE CHANGE! WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!

Years after the Black Lives Matter protests and attendant vandalism, looting and burning, the PBS News division is suddenly worried that masks….help people get away with crimes! Why the sudden interest? Well, it’s a way to indirectly fault ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) for criminals impersonating agents. Sunday’s NewsHour Weekend segment carried the online headline “Rise of ICE agents wearing masks creates opportunity for imposters to conduct crimes.”
For years conservatives have pointed out that Antifa and other left-wing mobs took advantage of masking (supported by the liberal media’s bizarre mask fetish) to hide their criminal behavior under the guise of preserving their health or hiding their identity for safety reasons. Those rules apparently don’t apply to ICE agents, who must apparently go maskless and risk doxxing from the vengeful online left.

Another explosive Russia Hoax revelation was revealed to the public today. And, as predictable as the Sun rising in the East, the legacy media completely avoided the story.
The report goes on to note that some of those documents reveal that the intelligence community discovered, through foreign intelligence sources, that the FBI was going to play a role in spreading the collusion narrative, which we refer to as the Russia Hoax. Furthermore, the report notes that these document-laden burn bags were found in a Secure Compartmentalized Intelligence Facility (SCIF) that was known only to seniormost FBI personnel and hidden within the Hoover Building.
No time was accorded to this issue on any of the legacy newscasts airing the day of the report (July 30th), to wit: ABC, CBS, NBC. We even took a look at Univision and Telemundo. No dice. Not a single second was given to the discovery of a potentially explosive and heretofore hidden trove of documents.
