In Orwell’s Animal Farm, the smart pigs have to simplify things for the other animals: “Four legs good, two legs bad.” Perhaps the generals will need to simplify the message for the troops, something straightforward like “Black good, white bad.”

This week, President Biden’s military declared its first war … on Fox News host Tucker Carlson. Carlson had committed the great sin of pointing out the oddity of the fact that the Biden White House had been promoting brand-new uniforms for pregnant soldiers, rather than America’s military efficiency in the face of a rising Chinese military threat. This prompted spasms of apoplexy from top brass in the military itself: Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby said that the Pentagon was filled with “revulsion” at Carlson’s comments, adding, “We absolutely won’t just take personnel advice from a talk show”; Army Sgt. Maj. Michael Grinston tweeted that women “will dominate ANY future battlefield we’re called to fight on,” calling Carlson’s words “divisive”; Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Scott H. Stalker, the senior enlisted leader of the U.S. Space Command, said that Carlson’s opinion was “based off of actually zero days of service in the armed forces.”

When you are at the table with some of the top criminal profilers in the world, talking about industrial scale election fraud, you do more listening than talking. And the listening was interesting. The profilers have zero interest in U.S. elections. Two of them did not vote and had unflattering opinions about both presidential candidates. Their comments were most insightful because they saw the current questions about election fraud so differently than the American media.
To them, 2020 election fraud was an industrial level crime. It was of such magnitude that it moved from the category of an election crime to a sovereign crime.
Sovereign crime. It does have a ring to it.

The Equality Act also expands the definition of “public accommodation” under federal law, and recipients of any federal funding—such as schools—would be directly affected by the act if it becomes law. It has already passed the House of Representatives.
Plenty of ink has been spilled on the disastrous consequences the Equality Act would have on the administration of school sports, locker rooms, and bathrooms.
But what of the curriculum the Equality Act might force schools to teach? Could it compel teachers to peddle unscientific notions that gender is “fluid,” or that a student’s subjective self-identity is superior to the biological reality of his or her chromosomal makeup?
Unfortunately, due to some legal sleight of hand, the answer is very likely “yes.”

“The most important thing to understand about the infrastructure crisis is that there is no infrastructure crisis,” says a commentary in Divided We Fall. “All of the talk about collapsing bridges and crumbling highways is simply a ruse to persuade Congress to spend hundreds of billions or trillions of dollars, most of it not on repairs but on new infrastructure we don’t need and mostly won’t use.”

According to the New York state constitution, the New York’s State Assembly would carry out the vote to impeach the embattled governor. The assembly is made up of 150 lawmakers — Democrats hold 106 of the assembly’s 150 seats, and 76 votes will be needed to impeach Cuomo, according to CNN.
The assembly only needs a majority vote to impeach Cuomo for “misconduct or malversation.”
“Provision shall be made by law for the removal for misconduct or malversation in office of all officers, except judicial, whose powers and duties are not local or legislative and who shall be elected at general elections, and also for supplying vacancies created by such removal,” the state’s constitution said.

Two members of Congress are asking the Navy to pull three books promoting identity politics and wokeness from its official reading list.
The books teach young sailors that they’re being asked to fight and possibly die for “a systemically racist country,” the lawmakers say.
The books–“How to Be an Antiracist” by Ibram X. Kendi; “The New Jim Crow” by Michelle Alexander; and “Sexual Minorities and Politics” by Jason Pierceson–are listed as part of the Chief of Naval Operations Professional Reading Program.
All Navy personnel pledge to defend the Constitution, yet these books portray America as fundamentally bigoted, Reps. Doug Lamborn, R-Colo., and Vicky Hartzler, R-Mo., write to Adm. Michael M. Gilday, who is chief of naval operations.

Wheeler, who previously advocated for the Portland Police Bureau’s budget to be cut, cited a dangerous surge in gun violence throughout the city as the primary reason for requesting the funds, according to the Oregonian.

…it is pretty obvious that the “Biden” administration is a who’s who of all the worst russophobes of the Obama era: Nuland, Psaki, and the rest of them are openly saying that they want to increase the confrontation with Russia. Even the newcomers, say like Ned Price, are clearly rabid russophobes. The folks in Kiev immediately understood that their bad old masters were back in the White House and they are now also adapting their language to this new (well, not really) reality.

Three Republicans on the Committee on House Administration sent a letter to Democratic California Rep. Zoe Lofgren claiming she broke House rules for releasing a report insinuating Congressional Republicans were involved in the Capitol riot.
The Daily Caller first obtained the Thursday letter, which Illinois Rep. Rodney Davis, Georgia Rep. Barry Loudermilk and Wisconsin Rep. Bryan Steil sent to Lofgren, who chairs the committee, saying the report’s findings are wrong and offensive. The three Republicans also said it raises questions concerning her use of Members’ Representational Allowance (MRA) for investigating members of Congress using her personal office resources.
“As the Chairperson of the Committee which is responsible for overseeing the rules governing the use of the MRA, you more than anyone should know that the handbook is clear when it states ‘the MRA may only be used for official and representational expenses.’ Using your personal office resources to investigate other Members of Congress cannot be considered to be related to your representational duties to your district,” the Republicans said to Lofgren in the letter.

Kristen Clarke, already under fire for her past anti-Semitic writings and opposition to civil rights prosecutions of black defendants, helped persuade a federal appeals court to deauthorize an integral part of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. Clarke and her advocacy group claimed the project was harmful to black residents. Regulators and energy companies objected to the claim before mounting legal costs forced them to shut down.

The Sunshine Protection Act of 2021 would only apply to states who currently participate in DST by getting rid of Standard Time, which lasts between November and March when clocks are turned back one hour. If passed, Americans wouldn’t be forced to change their clocks twice a year.
Well, to begin with, there’s no such thing as a ‘group of bipartisan senators’. There may be a ‘bipartisan group of senators’, but that’s not the same thing. (When did ‘journalists’ stop knowing how to write English?)
Why not get rid of ‘daylight saving’ time and return to the Good Old Days when noon meant that the sun was straight overhead? Why do these people always have to pee in the soup just so that they can say they Made A Difference?
Better yet, get the law out of the time business entirely.

Filling the restaurants and small venues in the beautiful outdoor weather. While Lord Governor Ducey talked out both sides of his mouth*, desperately trying to split the difference between Abbott/Desantis and Cuomo/Newsom, the bikers rolled back into downtown Mesa for bike night without permission or Mesa city hall control. Live music from an earlier rebellious era filled Main Street, punctuated by the sound of more Harleys rolling in. It was the sound of freedom.
Beyond the biker crowd, people jammed into every surviving eatery and watering hole, including new ones optimistically opened by small, true entrepreneurs. For the first time in nearly a year, you had to search for parking on a Friday night.
