“Infosys managers have obstructed her efforts to increase the non-South Asian diversity of Infosys’ workforce,” the complaint alleges, adding that “Infosys retaliated against Ms. Linguist, stripping her of her title as the head of diversity recruiting (and replacing her with an individual with no relevant experience) and demoting her, among other improper conduct.”

I wrote here yesterday morning about the tanker truck driver who drove into the crowd of “protesters” walking north on Highway 35W through downtown Minneapolis on Sunday evening. Minnesota House Majority Leader Winkler couldn’t wait to declare that he had finally found the elusive white nationalist sought by him and his ilk in the maelstrom of destruction that hit us last week.

According to the preliminary investigation, however, the authorities believe that the driver intended no harm. Indeed, no “protesters” were hit bu the truck. If he had intended harm, he
could have done a lot. He lawfully entered the highway in the normal course of business. He had no foreknowledge of the protesters, who shouldn’t have been walking down an interstate highway on Sunday afternoon.

The current Star Tribune story on the incident dated this morning adds that the driver “remained jailed on suspicion of assault but had not been charged.” Those who assaulted the driver remain at large. They aren’t even being sought.

I’m gonna guess it’s a feminine, curvaceous zero. “Karens are moms – pushy ones. They share corny inspirational quotes on Facebook, buy merchandise inscribed with ‘Love Life Laugh’ and love to ruin teenage fun,” Elaine Moore wrote in the FT. NBC’s medical drama New Amsterdam had an unusual diagnosis this week in the episode, “Sabbath.” After Dr. Helen Sharpe finds her 13-year-old patient Cephas has four benign tumors growing in his stomach and that the boy has elevated levels of stress hormones, psychiatrist Dr. Iggy Frome determines the tumors were caused by racism. As the surgeon operates and removes the four tumors from Cephas he warns the tumors could come back and might not be benign next time.
