The real horror, I suppose, is having to acknowledge that some people are still not in favor of gay marriage. Just a few years ago, a large majority of Americans were opposed to gay marriage. Barack Obama was opposed to gay marriage. Remember? Gay marriage won the day, and liberals like those who run the Human Rights Department now insist that the verdict be deemed unanimous. But it isn’t.

Austria’s intelligence agency, the Directorate for State Security and Intelligence (DSN), has successfully thwarted a planned Islamist terrorist attack on Vienna’s annual gay pride parade that took place on Saturday, June 17th, The Financial Times reported. Lately, authorities have been warning of an increased likelihood of Islamist attacks across the EU.

The suspects—three Austrian citizens of Bosnian and Chechen descent aged 14, 17, and 20—had allegedly schemed to attack parade participants with an array of weapons, including firearms, grenades, knives, a saber, and an ax. Authorities also believe that the trio may have considered using a vehicle to plow into the crowd (as in the 2016 terror attack in Nice, which killed 86).

The Rainbow Parade, one of Europe’s largest gay pride events, took place on Vienna’s Ringstrasse and drew an estimated 300,000 attendees this past Saturday. As the DSN’s press release indicated, the police were expecting the parade to be among the potential targets of the group. This was not the first time that pride events were targeted by Islamists in Europe, as it appears that these two vectors of diversity do not always mix well.

After the Brown v. Board of Education decision in 1954 ended segregation in public schools, many jurisdictions in the south engaged in what they openly called “massive resistance” to the Court’s decree, and enforcing the decision required both legislation and many follow-up lawsuits at every level of the federal judiciary for many years after.

It appears colleges and universities are already preparing their own “massive resistance” to a prospective Supreme Court finding later this month striking down race-conscious admissions (fingers crossed after the inexplicable VRA ruling last week).

Global corporations, NGOs, and administrative agencies are hijacking these fears in order to initiate regulatory capture and win a monopoly over Large Language Models like the one behind ChatGPT. They want to make you believe that they, and only they, can wrangle AGI before it turns us all into racist paperclips.

But perhaps the oldest and most persistent form of AI doomerism is “machines will take our jobs.” The current WGA strike, for example, is in-part aimed at the AI threat. Writers want studios to promise not to use ChatGPT for the bread-and-butter treatments, pitches, and drafts on which they make a living. They don’t want to be disrupted out of existence like the steel worker and the cab driver, and they’re right to worry. Studios are globalist corporations after all, of the same ilk that showed themselves happy to delete towns, cities, and even entire states under globalization. A certain species of Davos goon does not care at all about job loss when it’s happening to unpeople in the rube states. The Rust Belt looks like Syria for a reason.

However, where the previous labor nuke decimated the white working class in flyover states, this one will explode closer to the power center of Corporate America. Creative AIs like ChatGPT most threaten one of the Regime’s most powerful assets: the managerial class.

A divided federal appeals court on Tuesday upheld the constitutionality of a new admissions policy at an elite public high school in Virginia that critics say discriminates against highly qualified Asian Americans.

The 2-1 ruling from the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond overturns a ruling last year from a federal judge who found that the Fairfax County School Board engaged in impermissible “racial balancing” when it overhauled the admissions policy at the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

The school frequently is cited among the best in the nation, and parents jockey and prepare for years to get their children admitted. But for decades Black and Hispanic students have been woefully under-represented, while Asian Americans made up more than 70% of the student body.

And, since we all know that Black and Hispanic students are just as smart as Asian students, this is obvious racism. The swine. (I guess Asian Is The New White. Good to know.)

Taking book on how long this schools reputation lasts once they start stocking up on students chosen for their skin color rather than smarts….
