Modern Art: Socialism’s Ugly Whore

That about sums up my opinion, too.
Understanding modernism’s not-so-hidden agenda, the Nazis were better off than we are. They recognized modern art for the degenerate thing it is. Today’s art students are taught that 1916 was an annus mirabilis that freed art from the shackles of form, figure, lighting, drawing, perspective, composition, genius, beauty, truth, and the moral principle.

My son and his first wife (the artist) had a term they used for the absurdly expensive pieces of architectural debris that dot the public landscape; they called it Not-Art. The University of Michigan has numerous examples.
The problem with ‘modern’ art is that they’ve never read Hegel. Lack of definition doesn’t liberate the message, it obliterates it.
