ScienceDaily is reporting a truly depressing new study that finds that when it comes to complicated economic issues, people default to trusting government to address them.

    How is this different than Christians placing their trust in God?

    When one feels helpless and powerless in the face of things too complex to easily grasp, one clings to the belief that some Greater Power somewhere is in charge and that things are working out According To Plan, even if one can’t understand it.
