California welfare money ‘spent in Vegas’

6th October 2010

Read it.

A total of $69 million (£43 million) paid to welfare recipients in California was spent on holidays, including gambling trips to Las Vegas, jaunts to Hawaii and pleasure cruises.

Hey, welfare leeches need to relax too….

The Katrina “victims” who went to the Houston area (largely consisting of those who didn’t leave until the storm hit because they didn’t want to miss the opportunity to loot) were issued debit cards worth $500 to help them with misc. expenses. Officials were shocked, shocked to find that enormous amounts of the money were spent in strip clubs.

Hurricane Ike did a lot of damage in my neighborhood and I was very disappointed that the government didn’t send me to a single strip club.
