There are rumors that FB engineers shut it down to transfer data to a certain government agency. It is ironic that it shut down right after a whistleblower was interviewed. Coincidence? With Zuckerberg? Probably not a coincidence.

I suggest that the people who run Facebook are neither as smart as everyone believes them to be nor as smart as they believe themselves to be.
