he Washington Post tried to push back on President Donald Trump’s claim that the most dangerous cities in America are run by Democrats – but the graph provided largely proved Trump’s point.
Trump said Wednesday that “every one” of America’s “20 most dangerous” cities “are Democrat run.” WaPo’s analysis headline wrote that “Trump keeps claiming that the most dangerous cities in America are all run by Democrats. They aren’t.”
The article, however, did not provide a single city run by a Republican in the top 20 most violent cities per capita. According to data WaPo gathered to disprove Trump, 19 of the 20 cities with the most violent crime per 10,000 residents are run by Democrats. The lone city on the per capita list not run by a Democrat is run by an Independent.
“Most of the current mayors of these cities are Democrats,” WaPo admitted. “Two of the mayors of cities with the most reported violent crimes overall, though, are independents and one, the mayor of Jacksonville, Fla., is a Republican. Among the 20 cities with the most violent crime per capita, one isn’t a Democrat: the independent mayor of Springfield, Mo.”

Almost five short months ago, ‘journalist’ Ryan Broderick was the envy of his fake news peers. The BuzzFeed ‘senior reporter’ had just written a hit-piece against Zero Hedge slamming us over the ‘conspiracy theory’ that COVID-19 may have emerged from a lab in Wuhan, China, and claiming that we doxed one of their scientists. Hours later, we were summarily kicked off of Twitter – a ban which has since been reversed after the social media giant admitted they were in error. Meanwhile, the lab origin ‘conspiracy theory’ has gained widespread support and is now the focus of several international investigations into the CCP lab.

ctivists on Friday rallied in front of the Emancipation Memorial after a weeklong debate over whether or not the memorial, which depicts Abraham Lincoln ending slavery, is racist and should be toppled.
The rally, organized by Harvard University student Glenn Foster and his group, the Freedom Neighborhood, ended when a series of activists began shoving two journalists, one from the Washington Examiner. Before the scuffle, Foster and a series of other speakers voiced their grievances, saying that the memorial, which was paid for by freed slaves and dedicated by Frederick Douglass, was an example of white people “disempowering” black people.
Ought to be ‘dispowering’. Apparenlty a Harvard education isn’t what it once was.

First, the proof. Y’all know I think Vox Day is mostly hat and very few cattle, but the guy deserves every penny his writing ever made just for codifying the Three Laws of SJW. If you don’t recall them off the top of your head:
- SJWs always lie.
- SJWs always project.
- SJWs always double down.
…
Proof is easy to find, as they let the mask slip surprisingly often, and never more than when and where they feel themselves strongest. You all remember Central Park Karen, of course, the impeccably Liberal White girl who threatened to — and did!!! — make a false police report on a Black guy while he was recording it on video, because she didn’t like the way he’d asked her to leash up her dog. Or consider the “safe space” Seattle’s Cosplay Communards have set up for “racial healing.” Do click on the link, please. You’ll see a video of White people herding Black people into a segregated area, for their own good.

It wasn’t meant to be funny but when you read Wednesday’s New York Times story about virtue-signaling liberals living in the Minneapolis neighborhood of Powderhorn Park trying to avoid calling police despite rising crime due to a new homeless encampment it comes off as hilarious inadvertent comedy. Most countries today have a problem with Statistical Racial Inequality: not all groups are as accomplished in each particular field as some other groups.
Australia, however, is apparently solving its racial inequality problem by letting white people, like this neurologist, declare themselves to be Aboriginals.
To a large degree this happens in the U.S. as sell. The traditional ‘brown paper bag and ruler’ test that ‘black’ people apply to each other gives extra prestige points for white ancestry in the ‘black community’ itself; look at the membership of the Congressional Black Caucus and see how many of its members obviously have more European than African ancestry — if Congressman Butterfield has more than 1/16 ‘black’ ancestry he certainly doesn’t show it. (I’d love to see DNA tests on all of the most prominent ‘African-Americans’, who in most other mixed-race countries — like Brazil — would be classed as ‘white’.)

Manufacturing company 7-Sigma made headlines when it decided to leave Minneapolis as a result of the company’s plant being burned by rioters. “They don’t care about my business,”7-Sigma owner Kris Wyrobek old the Star-Tribune. After more than 30 years in the city, the company isn’t staying, nor are any of the company’s fifty jobs.
But the costs of being victimized in protests is just one of many reasons homeowners and businesses may be realizing life and business in central cities has lost its luster. The ongoing threat of more business lockdowns, more riots, higher taxes, and failing schools may induce many Americans to flee, once again, to the suburbs as their parents or grandparents did.
People used to prefer living in cities because that’s where the jobs were. They are beginning to realize that the jobs they find there aren’t worth the other disadvantages. The stayed because they needed a job, any job. But once they’ve lost their job, the barrier to leaving is vastly reduced. “If I’m going to need to find a job anyway, might as well do it in a safer community.”
This is especially true for the small-time entrepreneurs who run the little bodegas and delicatessens and hole-in-the-wall shops that don’t take a lot of startup money and survive because they’re a lot of potential customers around. But when the local NAM thugs can come through and destroy your life’s investment without the police or politicians giving a shit, that changes the situation significantly.

Twenty-five years ago, when a friend sent me a copy of Jean Raspail’s The Camp of the Saints, it was a book so taboo that you were considered racist merely for knowing of its existence. The 1973 novel, which imagines France invaded by a flotilla of refugees from the Indian subcontinent, pointed out how Western civilization had lost its will to survive, having become decadent, full of self-loathing and racial guilt.
Five years ago, however, when the Syrian civil war produced an influx of “refugees” into the European Union, suddenly Raspail’s novel was recognized as prophetic; even many liberals said the scenes in Europe were reminiscent of The Camp of the Saints. The election of Donald Trump and other politicial events indicative of a “nationalist” mood in the electorate seemed to validate much of Raspail’s critique.

Traditional folded steels combined two steels that varied by carbon content and in their microscale structure, which is controlled by how quickly it cools (by quenching). In this case, the researchers were using a nickel-titanium-iron alloy steel that works well with these 3D printing techniques, in which metal powder is fed onto the work surface and heated with a laser.
Rapid cooling of this steel also produces a crystalline form as in quenched high-carbon steels. But further heat treatment leads to the precipitation of microscopic nickel-titanium particles within the steel that greatly increase its hardness—a pricey material called “maraging steel.”

Ever since the 2016 election outcome, Krugman has made it a point to fire off wild predictions about what would happen under a Trump presidency. When markets began to plunge after Trump’s march towards an astounding victory, Krugman initially stated before recanting later that “[i]t really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover?” Krugman further suggested that “If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never.”
With this sort of leftist insanity in Krugman’s writing, it should come as no surprise for viewers to find gaffes, incendiary comments, faulty economic rationales, and bouts of cringe humor on Krugman’s Twitter account.

Far be it from me to suggest that Mr. Wallace, who evidently isn’t very good at racing*, reported the “noose” himself as a cheap publicity stunt. If anything, my money would be on NASCAR itself reporting it. They’ve gotten some bad publicity of late, and what better way to jump ahead of the Ostentatious Twitter Virtue Parade than calling the FBI on themselves?
(Actually, I really do kinda hope they did this. You’ve evidently decided that “people who hate the kind of people who would actually watch NASCAR” are your real audience — as opposed to, say, folks who actually enjoy watching car racing — and nothing gets their thighs moist faster than a good racial hoax. Slick marketing, guys. But I digress…)
Rather, the interesting thing here is the information, presented as a throwaway in one of the “news” stories, that the FBI team investigating the fake noose had fifteen guys. Fifteen!!!
UPDATE: ZMan chips in.
There is a strong possibility that the truth is something different. These facilities are not open to the public. They have lots of security. In this age that means cameras recording everything that moves 24-hours per day. There is a good chance the footage made clear that there was never a noose in the garage, so they quickly came up with the story about the garage door pull-downs. It’s better to be thought a moron than to having to admit to being a fraudster. Just look at Jussie Smollett.

The Sixties were driven in sizable measure by a very large cohort of young, bright Jewish Baby Boomers. A friend who taught at Yale in the 1960s said that the intellectual intensity of the freshman class ratcheted upwards notably from the freshmen of Fall 1964 (George W. Bush’s entering class) to Fall 1965, the first year when there was no quota holding down the percentage of Jews at Yale.
This year is the opposite, with childish lowbrow stupidities running amok, like the middle school idea of capitalizing Black but not white.
