I must have missed the Leftist Memo that said it was bad for you. It isn’t bad or good, it’s just useless. Yes, it contains vitamins and minerals, but so does library paste.
When I was a kid, I used to take a slice of plain ol’ white bread and squeeze it into a tiny ball about the size of a dime (in diameter). Really substantial stuff, there. My first wife used to call it ‘balloon bread’ because it was primarily composed of empty air.
Give me a good solid loaf of Brownberry or something similar, something with some heft. At least I’ll feel full after eating it.
