As is distressingly common among the Muslims are Evil crowd, the author creates a false dichotomy.
The choice is not, as he paints, one between Israel and militant movements such as Hamas or Hezbollah.
There is a middle ground.
One can deplore militant Islam while still believing that Israelis are acting like asshats by continuing to build settlements on land which they do not own and asserting claims based on a story that they used to live here 2000 years ago. (Sorry, guys, abandoned property reverts to the occupier after about 1000 years.)
