Can Robocop be far behind?
They actually filmed much of the movie Robocop around Houston, as Detroit was too dangerous. The scenes in the old factory were shot in an old steel mill in Galena Park (on the Houston Ship Channel). The mill has since been rehabbed and is being used as a shipping and storage facility.
